Stopped here for an evening meal and won't rush back. Place looked tatty and quiet.Food was typical pizza fayre which was okay. Green salad was pathetic. Service was good but food and drink was overpriced. I can see why these kind of chains are struggling as the food hasn't changed whilst the competition has. Do yourself a favour and walk on by.

Great food, fresh and accommodating staff who try to make the experience of eating out with children a bit easier than it actually is.

Came here for a business lunch. Service was prompt and efficient and the food was great - served quickly, filling and very tasty. Good selection of beers too.

Non scrivo mai recensioni negative ma questa volta sono davvero delusa. Intorno alle 21 e 30 volevo entrare per mangiare una pizza ma la cameriera ci ha detto che era chiuso. Mah! Se scrivete che il locale chiude alle 22:00 perché io alle 21 e 30 non posso entrare? Good job guys

La primera visita, parece que no hay muchos empleados solo una porción, así que tuvimos una ligera espera para bebidas, pero llegamos allí al final. La pizza principal era muy buena, la Calabrese, muy sabrosa y. relleno. El aperitivo estaba bien, ensalada Ceaser pero no podía ver muchas anchoas allí alrededor de uno o dos. Se utilizó tastecard, por lo que la factura solo llegó a poco más de 40, con bebidas para dos personas muy razonables. Volvería a visitar debido a la ubicación del trabajo, solo necesitan más personal y más anchoas, pero en general nos quedamos satisfechos.

Visited after 2pm and was quickly seated. Waitress was helpful bring menu and taking our order. Food arrived as ordered, good quality and enjoyable. Used Tesco vorchers which helps bring the cost down. Recommended.

I popped in here for lunch with some colleagues. The pizza was good and the service was good. It was fairly busy so if you are with a group it would be wise to book ahead.

I arrived after work while away in London. 7:45pm. No potato balls. (I like them). Also didn't have my dessert of choice either. Its hardly late... And a Wednesday night. Service was good, but really not acceptable to be missing key things from the menu.

We were tired and hungry and just off a transatlantic flight and, late evening, we wanted something easy and reliable. We've been fans of Pizza Express ever since its debut in Soho in the 1960s, and it never seems to disappoint, probably because it doesn't rest on its laurels but consistently comes up with new approaches to the old familiar dish. This time it was fresh figs, we shared one of those and one of their spectacular prosciutto-based Reginas--plus, of course, the famous doughballs, which are a lot better than they sound.. Fine service, even if it was late.

I like pizza express, food is always good and service is great! Would recommend this restaurant and would certainly go again.

My wife and I ate at Pizza Express in New Fetter Lane, London, last night (October 22). It was our first time across a Pizza Express threshold in over five years, the last one being a hugely disappointing experience at the Tower Hill outlet. We won't be going back. It was the second-worst pizza I've ever had in a restaurant, worse even than a warmed-up supermarket affair. How can the company which owns both ASK Italian and Pizza Express serve up such different qualities of pizza?

Popped in here with a friend on a Wednesday lunchtime.Location is handy, down the side of Sainsburys Head Office at Holborn Circus, and not far from Farringdon/ Chancery Lane tubes.It was fairly busy, but the service was quick and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We both had dough balls, which were a little undercooked but fine- less garlic butter than usual, maybe because its London! Also both had Romana La Reines for main course which were very good, exactly the same as all pizza expresses! They are happy to chop and change toppings too.Came to about £30 which is fairly reasonable for central London, including a drink each. There's always vouchers online and on the mobile app, so make sure you get one before you go or even when you get there on your phone.

This Pizza Express is located just off Chancery Lane, on Fetter Lane. There is a large area to seat an ample number of people.Pizza Express do accept tastecard - where you buy two starters, two mains and/or two desserts, but only pay for one of each. Drinks are not included.The menu is the standard menu, the service was fast, efficient and friendly. However nothing really stands out to make this exceptional.

I come here to eat about one a month during my lunch break at work. Service and staff are great. Food is always quick and hot. Will return.

Visited this restaurant today for a quick lunch with my son, we must have been seated at the worst table they had. Even though tables were free upstairs we were taken down a flight of stairs to the basement which felt claustrophobic and were seated opposite the staff kitchen where we were treated to the comings and goings of staff and at one point the door was left open. My pizza was lukewarm & I would have complained & asked to be moved but my 15 year old son would have squirmed with embarrassment so I left it. Couldn't get out of the place quick enough but I have to say that the waitress was very pleasant and charming. I would not return to this branch - Pizza Express is losing its charm for me.

Haven't been to pizza express for a while, the menu has been updated and is more appealing than it used to be.We were a group of 8 and they dealt with us efficiently and politely.The garlic bread we ordered was quite small and therefore we needed to oreder mor.The pizza's were all good , crispy and hot, I had asked for tuna with mine as an extra topping which they forgot , they then took it back and put some on it, as opposed to my wanting it hot .If you want a good standard , always reliable then this hits the spot but it is nothing more.

Pizza express is pizza express, you get what you pay for and you expect the same standard of service at each one. Like all Pizza Expresses, this one is exactly the same in that they only put on one waiter to serve the entire restaurant, which means service is slow, the waiter is over worked and what was meant to be a quick in and out meal ends up taking two hours! I go to Pizza Express for a quick dinner, not to spend an evening within. Saying that the pizza was superb, I went for the four cheese pizza which was divine. The dough balls, as ever, were addictive. However I would advise against their 'Famous Chocolate Fudge Cake'... I don't know why its so famous, I was drawn in by the advert stating that it was freshly baked in their ovens, even though it says they were baked in the morning, you still get that warm feel and therefore you expect your desert to taste fresh and warm as if it has come out of the oven; sadly not. Mine was stone cold, it tasted dry and the tecture was awful. I would say it is Pizza Express's 'infamous fudge cake'.Go for the pizza as it does not fall short there, it is without a doubt the best pziza chain to visit. I just wish they would add a couple more employees so I dont spend three hours waiting for a receipt.

Pizza Express is a great franchise and the food is excellent, this is a given.What makes this such a good example of this (and there are bad ones out there!), is that it understands its clients needs ie. quick, efficient professional service which can be achieved in under 1 hour (standard lunch break). The venue is discreet enough that you can have a meeting over lunch or informal enough to meet up with friends or colleagues.No waiting around to be seated, served or pay the bill which is precisely what is needed sometimes.Staff are excellent!!

Food is as one would expect from Pizza Express. Service was nice, we were left to ourselves and never felt pressured. Would come again.
