First time going to a Pizza Express, lovely big pizza's for the price. Good service here, good all round!

Realmente tuve el placer de visitar este restaurante el jueves por la noche con un grupo considerable. Siempre es complicado lidiar con una mesa grande, pero el equipo aquí hizo un gran trabajo. Was visiting the nearby BBC broadcasting house and needed a light bite before heading home. Pizza Express was nearby so that was my choice, and I am glad that I did. The pizza was good and tasty and service was fast and efficient.

We enjoyed the pizza at this Pizza Express. Portion sizes were very good. The restaurant was bright and spacious. Great location too; within walking distance to the BBC Headquarters, Langham Hotel and Oxford Street (Tottenham Court Road end). Service was okay. Pizza was very flavorful, though I wasnt blown away, as I've definitely had better pizza in my lifetime! It's worth visiting though because of the nice ambiance, great location and generous portions.

Group of 6 for a leaving party, waitress greeted us warmly and her service was well timed and efficient. Food arrived hot...delicious pizzas and pastas, delicious wines. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you very much. We will definitely visit again.

Finalmente, nos llevaron primero a una mesa donde los niños pequeños corrían, segundo a uno al lado de la puerta [hacía mucho frío afuera] y tercero, no había lugar para mis bolsas de compras. Macdonalds tiene mejores tablas. Nos fuimos. ¡Pizza express no es barato, así que espero algo mejor! El de la calle Great Portland es mucho mejor.

came for a quick bite to eat before attending a recording at the BBC Radio Theatre up the road. Requested speedy service and it was very speedy - all freshly cooked and piping hot. Portions not huge otherwise excellent

Myself and 4 colleagues visited on Monday lunchtime.There was no Chicken salad on the menu, he said that they get deliveries on Tuesday and that's why they had run out. One of my friends lunch was sent back because the Bolognese tasted funny & it was cold. Myself and another person had cold pizza but we ate it because we needed to be back to the office. The bases was also a little soggy? We had to ask numerous times for more water because the little jug he gave wouldn't do 5 people. We used the Two courses for 12.95 voucher thankfully, as I would have defiantly not paid full price!

We came here before our theatre show, we were happy to be seated straight away and the food arrived very quickly. The food was enjoyable, and after a quick meal we asked for the bill. The bill was higher than we expected, and after checking the order it turned out that we were charged for someone else's pizza. We spent ten minutes sorting this out, which was not helpful as we were in a rush for our show.

We were visiting the Palladium to see Joseph so called in here for a pre theatre meal.

Mi esposa, mi hija y yo fuimos a Pizza Express con un par de amigos para celebrar una fabulosa noche de música. Nuestras comidas fueron, como siempre, en este super restaurante, presentadas rápidamente y absolutamente deliciosas. También me gustaría mencionar a Dagmara, nuestra camarera, que fue amable, eficiente y una delicia absoluta. ¡Gracias por hacer que una noche muy especial sea aún mejor! Volveremos, por supuesto, ya que nuestra hija trabaja en la BBC y es una gran fanática de Pizza Express.

We were pleased that the food came quickly as we were on a time budget with a BBC radio show booked on that evening (convenient for this place). It was a strange atmosphere as the Extinction Rebellion was going on outside with police manoeuvres happening at the front of the restaurant. This might explain that the order was not delivered quite accurately. I was offered anchovies as an extra on my pizza but these were not served and when i told the waitress she seemed unconvinced and said she would have to 'check' with the kitchen. Of course the extra charge was removed. l also ordered a large glass of wine but a medium was delivered. The pizzas themselves were fine. There are three tables outside and these were pleasant on a fine evening.

myself and colleagues came in for lunch around 12 noon. We sat down and was quickly served menus. We had a voucher for two courses for £12.95. One of our members tried to order the Chicken salad but we was told it was old of stock, we asked what salad would replace it as she couldn't have pizza and was told none. So she was not able to order of the menu which was disappointing, I think there should have been an alternative salad offer in replacement. Both starters and main courses arrived quickly, which is fab when on a lunch break! Waitress was very helpful and friendly. The bill did take a while to come but the waitress kept apologising as there was something wrong with the tills. All in all, good meal and would return!

We always enjoy visiting Pizza Express, and this one was extreamly good.The staff particully Rosy was very customer focused and always smiling. The food was hot and good flavour. Would visit again.

El personal estaba demasiado ocupado cotilleando hasta que alguien de la parte de atrás salió y nos preguntó si nos habían servido, un grupo de ellos (5) se sentaron y se pusieron a comer y charlar en la parte de atrás del restaurante al lado de la cocina de pizza (dos estaban de descanso, Sabía que cuando se habían quitado los delantales, los otros tres solo se estaban riendo y charlando con ellos. Realmente decepcionado.

No obstante tener mal servicio y mal sistema de distribución de mesas entre su personal, la comida es buena y recomendable

5 de nosotros vinimos a almorzar el domingo. Fue muy agradable. No había música a todo volumen, el restaurante es luminoso y acogedor, y tuvimos una camarera especialmente amable, amable y eficiente. Todos disfrutamos de nuestras comidas, platos principales y postres. Siempre encontramos la comida de Pizza Express muy buena. Popped in here on a Monday evening for a meal with my family. It wasn't very busy, we were seated within a few minutes of walking in and our waitress approached the table immediately to take our drinks order. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, she took our order with no problems and double checked everything was ok. The food is as you would expect at Pizza Express and came quite quickly. We all enjoyed our meals and will return here without hesitation next time we're in the area, especially as our waitress informed us there's a new menu being introduced today with more Dairy Free options so my daughter will be able to have a dessert next time.

This is now the third Pizza so-called-Express where the service has been woeful. Stourbridge and Abingdon were the others, and in the past, Langham Place has been decent, but not tonight. It has gone the way of the others in the chain. It was fifteen minutes before we got initial service and the best part of half-an-hour before we got pizza. What? Cheese on tomato sauce on bread - 30 minutes? The tables were uncleared from previous diners leaving unhygienic rubbish adjacent to us. I think they'll go the way of Byron before long.

Had to ask for everythig twice! First the water and drinks didn’t come then the Doballs didn’t come and then came with our meal much later very unimpressed! When the food finally arrived it taste good but was rather cold !

We have eaten here at least once during each of our four stays in London in recent years. The pizza is tasty, the service is good, and the prices are reasonable. It's a nice laid-back option compared to the hectic nature of nearby Oxford Street and the busy restaurants of Soho.

Came here with an old friend and his wife whom I met after 20 plus years. We sat outside and enjoyed a bit of the sunlight, along with the great food and service along with the great company just made the experience great. We have now agreed to meet at this eatery more often next time when we meet in London.

Quick & reasonably good gluten free pizza. Like that the gf pizzas are well cooked. However husband had romana base & his was a bit burnt. Staff were friendly. It’s a chain so you know what to expect.

As expected. Service, food and drinks were all fine - that of a franchise. I cannot fault. I would recommend the dough balls, Padana and hot chocolate. They always have offers on so it is worth looking beforehand.

There is really nothing exciting at all to report about the generic Pizza Express chain.

Visited Pizza Express Langham Place for pre-show dinner, less than 10 mins walk from London Palladium and it was ideal. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and efficient. Pizzas - bargain deal, two for £10 - were excellent. If you like pizza, no need to go anywhere else. Highly recommend.

First night out in London.....we all had pizza and sides .....served by a friendly waiter who took trouble to ensure we were all happy.....good delicious food and a happy atmosphere .What's not to like especially at the reasonable price for a meal for four.....in sharp contrast to a disappointing Jamie meal the following evening.Would return again and again.

We ate here twice during our stay in London. The food was great (especially the American Hot Romana pizza) and the service very good. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and, due to a problem with their IT system, they gave us our last dinner on the house! A brilliant end to a fantastic trip. Thank you Pizza Express!

Our kids had seen Pizza Express advertised on the tour maps so we decided to give it a go. We had a fantastic feed, the kids menu was good and the staff were great too. If you're a fan of Italian food and after a quick, filling meal which is well priced, then this is the place for you.

I have been eating in this restaurant for many years. It always provides good hot food at an affordable price. The service is sometimes variable due to the size of the dining area but the staff are always apologetic if errors occur. I always feel comfortable there and it's a great place to meet friends in a relaxed clean environment.

As we were going to a recording at the BBC Broadcasting House opposite, Pizza Express seemed a safe bet for a quick meal.The food was entirely standard - though they seem to be cutting down the range of pizzas on the menu. So as usual I ordered a Four Seasons whether it's on the menu or not. Shame that they seem to have swapped to picked white anchovies, which aren't really right for that pizza. And why they insist on service some pizzas on slates with a wheel cutter and others on a plate with a simple knife and fork escapes me.Unfortunately the service was overstretched. Whilst our waiter clearly wasn't slacking, it was hard to get his eye to place an order, get the bill etc. The restaurant wasn't full, just a bit understaffed.The only food disappointment was the dessert/coffee combo I went for. The dessert was a micro serving of salted caramel profiteroles. Unfortunately, they had clearly come straight out of a cold fridge and were rock hard - so cutting them into mouthfuls with the supplied teaspoon wasn't an easy task. Overall, it was good value as I get a 2 for 1 discount due to having a Taste Card.

I have been at this restaurant multiple times - not because I like it, just because it's close!Their pizza is average, definitely not the traditional Italian taste, but not that bad either.On the contrary, the service is very BAD! Waiters care about neither clients nor orders - I often waited forever to get my bill or to be served. Even when I manage to order, they mess it up by delivering starters along with pizzas or removing items from my order.Basically, I go there just when leaving the office at late hours because there aren't other options.

Arrived en spec - group of 7 and had not booked. They accommodated us pretty quickly on a relatively busy lunchtime. I had the Leggera superfood salad with chicken and it was delicious. Slight confusion with my dessert choice. The waitress got it wrong twice but not wanting to cause a scene I just accepted the (wrong) second one she brought! I think it may have been a language thing. Only wish we'd downloaded some vouchers beforehand.

My partner and I had the misfortune of thinking this pizza express was of a high quality however this became blatantly apparent that this was not the case after we were greeted by an overly blunt Eastern European chap who showed us to a dirty table with missing cutlery. After a five minute wait he begrudgingly return to take our order.An eternity seemed to pass then the pizza turned up.Wow how things went downhill after that.The pizza was cold but at the same time burnt around the outside and a large piece was burnt and that was carefully hidden by some chopped tomato.The pizza was supposed to have pulled beef on with mozzarella diced onion and tomato.We had three pieces of beef, tomatoes that were cut by Stevie Wonder and no mozzarella at all. The onion was the only part that was correct although there was not a lot of it on the pizza.Really a frozen pizza from the supermarket would have been better.How we looked on in envy at the people walking into Byron burgers next door as we sat and ate our burnt cold pizza and wondered what could have been.If you really need a pizza and everywhere in the universe is closed please don't go into this pizza express.I will never set foot inside this pizza express and will have to be dragged into any other pizza express restaurant kicking and screaming.

I have been here on a few occasions now, with my daughter who works for the BBC. They have a special arrangement with BBC employees, which is an excellent marketing strategy. The staff are all welcoming, and on this occasion I would like to single out Ashley, who looked after us today. It was very busy, but she gladly gave us her time and was friendly and efficient. Came here with a large group of people at lunchtime and it was quite busy. The food was good and service reasonably prompt, but at the end we had some complications when the group tried to pay the bill as individuals. 'Everybody' paid the service charge on top of their bill but one person was missed out, hence the total came to approximately the total charge without service. This was a genuine mistake, and as such we had done nothing wrong. We had all paid our share and the bill was covered. But the waiter started getting slightly aggressive about us not leaving a tip and was practically trying to stop us from leaving because we weren't paying the service charge. Now as far as I am aware this is voluntary and he had no right to do that. In genuine faith we had all tried to pay the service charge but he had not collected the payment from one person - his fault. Then when we finally did pay everything there was not even a thank you. I am sure this was just a bad day on the waiter's part but my attitude was one of wanting to ask for the service charge back again because this was bad practice.

Pizza express is one of the most common restaurants we go to for the work do, the food is always good, we use vouchers and get discounts but the service has a huge impact on where and when you go. When we went to Pizza express in Tower hill we were served by a lady who was very helpful, cheerful and arranged us to celebrate the birthday of 2 of our colleagues. Keep up the good work guys.

We thought Pizza Express was great! To find a reasonably well priced eating house in central London is something I did not expect. Yes it is a chain but you know that before you walk in. Great pizza, good gluten free options, but absolutely atrocious service. The restaurant was very quiet at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, and our table was pretty much ignored the whole time. Every time we wanted to order we had to ask. And even at the end of the meal we had to stand up and approach the till before we even got the bill.Less than impressed.

Went with a group of friends. We booked a table online. The food was very good. Most of us have had pizzas and one had risotto. The food came reasonably quickly and was very tasty. A few of us had dessert or coffee and these were good too. Our waiter was excellent and didn't rush us. We paid using a voucher from the website which brought the total cost down. A very enjoyable evening.

If it is pasta you want then this restaurant is not the one to go to. Although they make good pizzas (I have been to this place before) they are not so good with pasta. We ordered a Pollo Pesto and Pennette Bolognese. The protons were smaller than a starter and the taste was not that good. We can compare this to the Pizza Express at O2 Arena were we had ordered the same some time ago, there the portion was larger and the taste better. We shall certainly not order any past again at the Langham Place restaurant.When we told the waiter about our disappointment and how different it was to their O2 Arena venue, he said that he would be giving our feedback to the chef and the manager but none of them came to talk to us about our experience; they could not care less.

Oddly quiet when we arrived but soon filled up. Pizza's ok, garlic bread ok, coleslaw oddly spicy. Brought over a large jug of tap water much appreciated. Service was fine and at least your a bit away from all the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. Baby changing available which was useful. The experience is exactly what you would expect from this chain.

I visited mid week with a friend recently and found the food up to the normal standard which I always enjoy. I had some dough balls and an American pizza and it was exactly as I wanted. Although the service was very efficient I found them to rush us a little which was a shame as we had the time for a longer dinner. I would probably visit another branch in future.

Tanto la calzone como la americana, estaban explendidas.Quisimos acompañarlas con un postre de vahinilla ...y cheesecase y bueno ese no mataba, pero estaba rico. La verdad que es correcto y para el precio y la calidad....mas que suficiente....lo recomiento sin lugar a dudas.

Pizza express is never going to be fine dining. Good for a quick bite to eat and very near to oxford street but far away enough so it doesn't get too busy. Service is good and my calzone was okayIt wasn't bad but wasn't enough for a 4 star, more 3 and a half.

Had a meal here on a Friday night when arrived in London. Do not have access to pizza places where we live in country so a bit of a change. I am very fussy about pizza, hate 'biscuit like' bases and usually leave the outside crust. The pizza here was delicious (we had pollo astra and malzone). Pizza base and crust just right, doughy and tasted like American pizzas, certainly no hard biscuit base. Ate every single bit including the crust. Had a wonderful bottle of Argentinian Keltehue Malbec 2015, cherry with a hint of ligonberry, smooth. Have had bottles of Malbec at expensive restaurants that were not up to the same standard as this one. Well done to the wine buyer, but don't put the price up! Aneta our waitress was superb.

Visited here recently and was pleasantly surprised, I had not been in one of these for a long time. I had my usual American Hot which was great. We were going to a show at the BBC and only had 45 minutes to eat. Everything came on time, food was good service was great from Zuzana.

We were going to a live show at the BBC and this was the nearest restaurant so we visited for lunch. The place was busy and bustling and they offered two kinds of pizza with brussel sprouts. I chose one and ordered a side salad to accompany it. Both dishes were disappointing as the 'chef' had shown little originality with either. The pizza contained chopped pieces of sprout and tomato and a congealed fried egg. The side salad consisted of plain tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce which had no finesse - they seemed just flung into a bowl/plate. After the meal, the waitress asked if we had enjoyed it and when I mentioned the salad's lack of creativity, she suggested I should have chosen a different type from the menu.

Importante destacar que disponen de pizzas (y otros platos de la carta) gluten free para aquellas personas intolerantes al gluten Pizza Express es una muy buena opción. Eso sí 2 pizzas y dos bebidas: 28 libras (38 euros), pero es que en Londres no hay nada barato (ver foto ticket).

Came in for a quick solo lunch before a meeting and told them I was in a hurry. I got a nice window table, my order was taken immediately (I knew what I wanted) and my pizza arrived in 11-12 minutes - well cooked, nicely topped and most importantly not soggy.Super service from courteous professional staff. I also noticed how quickly they cleared and cleaned tables. The same menu as every Pizza Express but better than average service.

I’ve long been a fan of Pizza Express and enjoy their brand of pizzas and sides despite the inexorable increase in prices over the years.You’d have to be from a different planet not to know the typical menu (400+ restaurants in the U.K. so everything comes down to service, both from the kitchen and servers. On our visit both were fine and we got exactly what we expected from a friendly server.The Langham Place branch (just opposite the entrance to the old BBC HQ) can have the benefit of being slightly less frenetic that eateries along nearby Oxfords Street. The downside is that, being newly refurbished, nearly the whole restaurant is ‘hard’ surfaces so it is incredibly noisy when it is busy. Forget trying to have an intimate conversation around the table!

We were forced into this PizzaExpress by a torrential rain storm and although the staff and restaurant were very busy the service and care were first class. The only part of our meal that was a bit on the bland side was the Garlic Bread and cheese but an excellent array of sauces and accoutrements to all the food were readily available. In all my years of "eating out" I would sooner add to the flavour as it is impossible to remove it. Certainly not a restaurant I would have chosen if I believed all the angst that Tripadvisor can sometimes engender but as I said, thankfully I can read between the lines and all three of us enjoyed a great meal, attentively and professionally served. It was our first visit to this chain and will not be my last. I feel sympathy for a person who is experienced at eating out yet waits until the "meal from hell to write about it", have they never had a good meal meritorious of reporting? I respectfully suggest the diatribe says more about them than the restaurant.

I've joined TripAdvisor today as we were so appalled at the service we received in Pizza Express, Langham Place yesterday that I had to put pen to paper. We arrived just before 8pm and the tattooed armed miserable waitress greeted us at the door with the air of the fact we were putting her out just by being there and after a moment of the attitude of could she fit us in a half empty restaurant, without even speaking to us once showed us to a table and gave us menus. We then waited 20 minutes watching her clear neighbouring tables and kept walking past us not looking at us to even see if we wanted drinks. We tried to catch the eye of other staff as they walked by but no one acknowledged us. We were sat right in the middle of the restaurant near the bar so we very visible. Eventually I asked another waitress if we could order and she went in the back to get another member of staff to take our order. He took the drinks order first and wouldn't take the food order at the same time, we were hungry by then with two children. He then brought my son the wrong drink. He was a polite and good natured waiter unlike the previous girl, but his understanding of English seemed very bad and even though we pointed on the menu to things we ordered more dishes were wrong. My husband also was brought the wrong starter and my son's ice cream sundae didn't have the toppings on. In addition to that, both my and my husband's drink sizes were also wrong in that we'd ordered large wines and beers and got small. We've been regular customers in other branches of Pizza Express for years and although the food was cooked to usual standard here, the service was appalling. My husband's firm has just relocated to offices around the corner and he'll certainly be telling colleagues to avoid this restaurant.

Wanted something to eat. So went a bit Oxford street. The place had plenty space. Service was ok. Food was rather bland tasting. Went down well with an expensive pint of beer. Lots of kids, lots of noise.

This review really splits into two parts. Part 1: My wife and I were visiting Regents Park and decided spontaneously decided to have a Pizza for lunch. As we have found the new look Pizza Express and the reworked menu to be very good, we looked on line for the nearest PE restaurant, The PE website indicated that the nearest one was at 215-216 Great Portland Street. Unfortunately, it does not seem to be there any more. By this time we had walked to the Oxford Street end so we decided to look for one near to where we were. Bad mark for PE for not keeping their Web Site up to date.Part2: We arrived at the Langham Place Pizza Express at a few minutes before 1 pm. Yes, it was busy, but there were tales free, after hanging around for some minutes a waitress came over and took us to our table. We must have waited about 7 - 10 minutes before the waitress came and took our order for drinks (which were delivered promptly). And then, we waited and waited. I noticed that some people who came in quite a bit after us had their food served. The waitress came over to us approximately 20 minutes after she had taken our order and said that there had been some delay due to a large take out order, but our food was on the way. 25 minutes later and 50 approx. minutes after entering the restaurant (when both me ad my wife were ready to walk out) our food finally arrived. I complained to the waitress, who was most apologetic and said that there had been some mix up etc. The pizza was not cooked to the usual high PE standards (as a long standing PE customer I know what their pizza should be like). The waitress, came over to ask how the food was, and my patience has finally run out, I demanded to see the manager. After finishing our lunch the manager came over and once again apologised for the poor service. I explained that not only the service but also the quality of the product had been poor on this occasion. After listening to my complaint the manager offered us the whole lunch on the house. Now, while this does not excuse the long wait and poor quality, it redeemed PE and the manger. So, I would like to say that we take this as a "one of" and would recommend Pizza Express in Langham Place. And, I commend the manager for his proactive decision. Well done Ed Carlton (assistant manager).

Love this Pizza Express. It's next to my work building so use it often. It's a lovely big, clean restaurant which is great for us as it's usually a casual working lunch and we can spread out in our own corner and crack on with whatever we're doing over a bit of lunch.Pizza Express is a brand we've all grown up with and know well, but I have had mixed experiences at various branches over the years, but I have to say this restaurant is damn consistent. The food is always fresh, hot and tasty. A nice, efficient bunch of guys working the floor as well. They have begun to recognise us so we've got a bit of banter happening, which is nice!In a nutshell, it's Pizza Express done well, served with a smile in a nice spacious environment.PS. Not too many tourists either!

I came to Langham Place with my two young children and husband recently early Wednesday afternoon.We were greated almost immediately by Sophie (who then became our waitress) with a big smile. She got the kids involved straight away by asking them to carry their menus and letting them pick which table would be ours.After sitting us down she explained how the children's menu worked and offered us a drink. Drinks arrived promptly and her recommendation of Limonata was fabulous! We weren't quite ready to order as there is a lot to pick from! But she asked if we would like to order the kids food in the mean time.The food was delicious! My husband had the Pollo Forza and I had Sophies recommendation of the La Regina with roquito peppers. It arrived quickly and hot. It was a wonderful meal from start to end with fantastic staff. The Scottish manager was also very friendly with our kids! The only thing that let it down was the toilets, very messy! Other than that we were happy as were my children who gave Sophie a hug and a high five as we left. We will definitely be back!

We came here for a meal last week as we were passing by, but I really wish we had checked the reviews first! The restaurant was empty even at dinner time, which should have been a warning signal. It was very cold inside, some people were even wearing their coats. The floors and tables weren't very clean, and used tables were sat waiting to be reset for a long time after diners left.The food was not good - one pizza was undercooked, the other was burnt, and both of them had very little toppings. The bases were also stretched ridiculously thin. Service was poor - our server barely spoke english and made mistakes with our order despite me pointing to what we wanted on the menu. When clearing up he was also clumbsy and very nearly threw cutlery and plates on my wife... he even knocked the salt and pepper over.We won't be returning!

Having just attended a recording at the BBC, it was lovely to see Pizza Express close by. Heading in, it didn't seem too busy so we (my sister and I) were very optimistic. We ordered a simple meal of Caesar salad, and a garlic bread. Wine, water and a lemonade. The drinks were a while coming. The food took a long time. When it arrived the salad wasn't great, the lettuce was rather bitter, but I was puzzled at the absence of caesar dressing and dough sticks. I asked the waiter, who offered me the the house dressing, and when I insisted on caesar, quite a dust up seemed to occur between the staff. At least ten minutes or more the dressing arrived, and the dough sticks appeared. Not much apology or concern was offered. One of the waiters said it was all down to staff shortage. There seemed plenty of staff, and the restaurant was not full by any means. The as we were about to pay we realised that the lemonade had never appeared either.

We ate at this restaurant during half term. It's located conveniently only just beyond the top of Regent's Street, but far enough away from the main 'buzz' of the West End to be reasonably quiet - and importantly, to have a free table! We turned up on spec early on a Saturday evening and they fitted us in. No complaints about the food and service - all very good. Loos were poorly maintained though - gives a poor impression.

My boyfriend and I thought we'd pop to Pizza Express for a relatively quick and efficient meal on a Tuesday night. We'd been to many Pizza Express's before so we knew it would be good. Upon entering the restaurant, we could see that it was around half full with many empty tables laid. we were behind just one other couple waiting to be seated. Ten minutes later not a single member of staff had paid us or the other couple any attention whatsoever. As time ticked on eventually a member of staff attended to the couple in front looking round in exasperation at all the empty tables as if the restaurant was full. He then preceded to clean a dirty one even though there were so many already laid! Clearly we had had enough and I exclaimed loudly that this was the most ridiculous service I had ever (not) received. Totally unacceptable to ignore customers at the door who are willing to spend good money on wine and food. We ended up going to the Pizza Express on Great Portland Street which was much more of a success, I mean at least we sat down!! Not impressed.

Arrived on Thursday at 4.30 pm with very few people in there. It took 1 1/2 hours for 2 adults to have a garlic bread followed by a pizza each. Had to chase the waiting staff for the garlic bread which arrived luke warm. We gave up on ordering a coffee. Never had such a poor pizza express experience.

My 3 friends and myself were going to the BBC to hear s radio play, so did not want a heavy meal. We knew that the Puzza Express was offering voucher codes for money off our meal. We had trouble getting on line so we asked our waiter, think his name was Jason, a young Irish chap for assistance. He spend a good 10 minutes helping me get on line with their free wifi. When we got the code he took the discount of our meal.The 4 of us all choose salads, 2 with the chicken and the other 2 had the salmon. The portion size was very large and very tasty and filling. The choice of wine was very good and reasonable We all had a very enjoyable time at Pizza Express and would recomend it.

After arriving in London we needed some simple food for the evening as a take away. We went to the Pizza Express at Langham Place. It was very ordinary. The service was poor and at times I simply felt like I had been forgotten. It was quite a wait and once we got the pizza it was soggy with sparse topping. We didn't go again.

Awful, Awful experience at Pizza Express Langham Place (off Regents Street) I have never posted a negative review on Trip Advisor but felt compelled after my experience here.Arrived on a Saturday evening (22nd Nov 2014) at about 5:35pm. The place was not busy and we were a party of 6 (4 adults one 15yr Old and one 7yr Old) They found us a table then simply left?After waiting ages to be acknowledged where we had to eventually call a member of staff over to ask for some drinks and extra Menus? (he seemed to be a Manager due to his attire) We then ordered a simple 1 course meal for 6 (Pizzas and Pasta)50mins passed and still no meal!! After (POLITELY without fuss) bringing the delay to their attention, after seeing a family who (we later found out arrived 5 mins before us) starting their 3rd course and other later arrivals eating we were told after much toing and froing that "the food is just going in", meaning they forgot (again I stress they weren't busy)I asked for the Manager to bring to his attention that after nearly an hour we'd expect something to eat especially with a young child waiting (the male Manager had disappeared so we spoke to a lady who didn't seem to comprehend how disappointed we were as a group) We were then avoided by all staff (no apology, offer of complimentary drinks etc) they then rushed our youngest's meal out (without anyone else's) After 10 more mins and still no food for anyone else I explained that we came to eat as a family and it wasn't acceptable.Still no genuine apology (or offer of something to appease our disappointment, not that we wanted anything but the gesture would have been appriciated) just excuses about being short staffed and being busy (there were plenty of staff standing around doing nothing and the Restaurant was no more than half full if that)We took matters into our own hands, cancelled the rest of the meals, told them we were leaving and weren't paying for our drinks round and Kids meal. Needless to say they didn't argue. We then went next door to Byron Hamburgers, were looked after by great staff and were all eating freshly cooked great food within 20 mins. Please avoid this Pizza Express. Truly shocking!! I haven't been to a Pizza Express in years, now I know why

We had such a lovely time here - with a young student friend - great welcome and excellent service from Carlos - very tasty meal - and the very kind discount given with our special voucher from All Souls church. - we will certainly come again if we can and recommend you to friends Warmest thanks!

I met my friend here for lunch and we only had an hour as my friend was on her lunch break. We both had a pizza and a glass of wine, no waiting, no fuss, the food was lovely.No waiting, no fuss, good service, professional, clean and nice venue.We sat outside and it was all just perfect.

Pizza was good, service was friendly and prompt, we had a great time talking to other customers who gave us advice about our upcoming travels!

We have been into this restaurant a few times over the years, when we visit London and had no complaints so far. We were due at the Palladium for 7.00pm so decided to eat here as it was only a 5 minute walk.We were greeted straight away and shown our seats, it had only 3 tables in use. We sat by the window. As I went to put my handbag on the floor I noticed the floor was dirty, not just around our table but also around the other tables as well. Not just some bits of food, I mean dirt as if it hadn't been cleaned for days. It wasn't raining so people hadn't brought mud in with them not impressed. Staff were standing around waiting for customers, I would have thought the manager would have asked them to mop up the floor at least clean around a few tables. He probably didn't notice.The menu was boring, I have seem better choices on other chain pizza restaurants. The food was fine, but sorry will not be visiting this pizza express again, or any others until the menu is more exciting. To the manager please check your floor and clean it regularly under the tables.

A recently refurbished restaurant which is well situated close to Oxford Circus in the centre of the West End. However as it is to the north of the shopping area it is not as heaving as some restaurants further South.Good decor and outside seating is available. Also good views of the lovely All Souls church designed by George IV's favourite architect as well as the HQ of the BBC.Service was good and a good menu.Will be back!

Наш отель Saint Georges Hotel 14-15 Langham Place находился совсем рядом и иногда мы хотели побаловать себя пицей, чтобы почувствовать совсем молодым. Чаще мы банально брали пицу на вынос в отель. Официанты-понятливые молодые люди, в основном иностранцы-очень доброжелательны. Особенно понравилась пица Romana American Hot по цене 11,5 фунта, недёшево, но она этого стоит. Рекомендуем!

We visited pizza express as a family looking for a nice meal as we are usually a fan, we left unhappy with the service, price and food. We arrived and sat at our table with our two children and were given our menus, we were never given children's menus we had to ask. When the food arrived my pizza was incorrect and I did not really like it and my 3 year old son's pasta was overcooked and he did not like it. When we did not think things could get worst we had to wait 20 minutes for our dirty plates to be taken away. When our plates were eventually taken away we got the bill that was very expensive for a lunch out. I would not reccomend going there I'm not going back there soon.

We know Pizza Express and have dined in quite a number over the years. This one was like many of the others. You know what you are going to get even before you enter. There were no unwelcome surprises. We enjoyed beautifully made pizzas, the staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere, as a previous reviewer has noted left a great deal to be desired. The lighting was boring and uninspired. But if pizza is what you are looking for, then you will not be disappointed. Pizza Express have this down to a fine art. Everything was hot and well presented so I anticipate that we will keep using this chain in the future.

Located next to BBC Broadcasting House it is a big open area, sparsely furnished and with no decor other than an historic wall map of the area.The kitchen is open to the restaurant and you can watch the chefs beavering away.The food was standard Pizza Express fare but VERY WELL PREPARED.Staff not over friendly.Not really near any theaters except perhaps the Palladium and Wigmore Hall for concerts..

We intended visiting another restaurant that we discovered had closed down and entered this without any reservation. Despite it being a very busy Saturday we were welcomed and seated at a table promptly. Quickly served with drinks there was a reasonable delay waiting for our main course that was lovely and hot and excellent value. After our arrival a large party arrived and this inevitably delayed the order for dessert and its delivery. It also coincided with a shift change. However, it was convenient for us to stay as we were attending a nearby concert and were not keen to wait outside in the cold.
