Pizza Express in Coventry

We had a lovely experience last night. All the staff were friendly and my partner had a lovely start to his birthday celebration. Thank you for helping with the birthday cake! Food was lovely and we were all very full!

Our food took over 2 hours to arrive and was freezing but the time it reached us

Took an hour to arrive. Due to it being delivered by bike, it was all cold

We only come to Pizza Express if they have offers on or using a voucher, etc, otherwise it can be a tad too expensive on a state sector salary! Love the pizzas here. Staff are great - welcoming, helpful and friendly.

Never ever using this pizza express again. Don't answer the phone and also don't deliver orders. I waited 2 hours for nothing. Awful

Went to wrong place. Food was stone cold. Had to share my location with the delivery person. They said It was too far but target were driving. Took a long time.

After finishing our food they left us for 20 minutes without coming over. Then they offered us desert. Gave us the menus and left it another 20 minutes before we gave up and just asked for the bill. We was excited for the desert but however left very disappointed. They told us it was a full house however there was many free tables.

we had the same pizza the last time we ordered. this time there wa not as much meat or cheese as the first time, and for me I would have like more green pepper. the pizzas are good but also quite expensive.

Great place for eating out with family. On the pricier side so not our regular haunt (that remains Nandos) but good when you want to splash out on some quality food (though can use Tesco vouchers to subsidise).

Piping hot arancini and lukewarm pizza. Definitely a restaurant issue (peak time on Friday night, it’s understandable but still a bit disappointing).

Love it there. We always love Pizza Express. We took our friends on this occasion to share that great experience.

Modern Pizza Express near Coventry city-centre. As with all Pizza Expresses, they are very good for intolerances/allergies and the you know what you are going to get when it comes to the pizzas. I had the double American, which was decent and the service was surprisingly efficient, given the fact they seemed very under-staffed.

The manager in this place totally ruined our experience and did not admit she got our order wrong. She insisted on bringing the pizza back to show her again she did not listen, spoke over us and was cross because she got it wrong but did not admit it. She was so rude, not listening, talking all over us, then she just walked off. We did get our pizza afterwards but no apology, just a horrible attitude. I have never been dealt with in such an unfriendly unprofessional unpleasant manner, I can’t believe pizza express employ this lady. We won’t be going back.

Large order. It tasted great and far better than some competitors. The garlic bread was cold. But overall it was nice. The family liked the lemon chicken wings.

Starter and dessert were great, Pizza was cold. Never had this problem with previous orders but it was Christmas Eve so will forgive them.

I ordered a takeaway today 16th December lest to say what a huge regret off disappointing food, the Marguerite pizza was thinner than my patiences served stone cold like it came straight out off a freezer, the mac and cheese was appalling it was tasteless I've tasted better from jarred baby food. The service also was a joke the pizza box was handed to my 2 year old at first till I intervened and grabbed it from the host the box was also upside down, I ate a tiny bit off the meal now I feel sick ( hopefully not food poisoning) Stay far away from this specially if it's a takeaway option. Pure disaster waste of 33 pound.

Food was fine.. however this premier parking will try to rob you.. be cautious where you park your car.. their signs are barely visible at night

food was absolutely freezing.. tried to eat some of the pizza and couldn't it was as tough as leather!! chip dippers were burnt on the edges but not cooked throughout. dough balls were stale! worst pislzza I've ever had

It took my food over 2 hours from the time of ordering to get here which was ridiculous. The food itself wasn’t bad, a bit cold, but I’m appalled that my delivery time slot kept changing and that it took 2 hours just to get some food.

you gave me a delivery slot for 20.45 to 21.10 that changed to 21.10 to 21.30. the food actually came at 21.19. last time I used your app, my order was with mcds and the delivery time kept getting pushed back and pushed back until 2 hours later when I was cancelled. I won't be using just eats again. not reliable. lovely delivery people but this delivery service just doesn't work

From the moment I walked in until I left this was without doubt the best customer experience I have had in a long time. Helped me set up the app, offered me discount , food came promptly , good quality , good value , and all with a thank you and a goodbye.

We had great service from the team. We hadn't booked & we only had a hour before attending the theatre. The team kindly checked on food wait times, seated us order taken. Food arrived promptly, hot tasted great and we didn't have to rush our pizza or drinks. The whole team were friendly, attentive & extremely personable. My son & I had a lovely time following my panic we were running later than planned. Hats off to the team for making us feel welcome & relaxed, especially our waitress Andrea. Thank you

Whenever my amazing #ReadyFreddie & I visit Coventry we always come to eat in this restaurant. It's quite fantastic actually as people walk past & the food is top notch. The staff are amazing, the remember us which is always nice to note. The chefs are theatre style cooking & I always say hi & bye to them as they cook some great food. Maybe I'll suggest they bring a Hawaiian pizza back but honoring Queen Margherita is always nice to do.

Me and my fiancé visited this restaurant yesterday 6th September around 17.10 Coventry Belgrade plaza and were greeted at the door . A waitress with light brown hair and glasses walked us to our table , before we even reached it, she threw the menus down and walked off after We mentioned that we would prefer a different table, as the one she directed us to was right next to two groups of people in the corner She then shouted from across that all the other tables were reserved, except for one near the door, even though the restaurant was half empty , It seemed like she was deliberately trying to seat everyone in the same cramped area. When we agreed to move to the table near the door, she shouted for us to get our own menus and appeared frustrated and huffed when she had to bring them over . I've never experienced such poor customer service in all my life. I'm fairly certain other staff members witnessed this, too. She definitely needs training on how to properly handle customers we almost walked out because of this experience me and my partner go very frequently to pizza express at different locations and we are just mortified by how we were treated . On a positive note, the garlic dough balls were probably the best we’ve had—very fresh—and the pizza was nice. However, the pizza came with Parmesan, which we didn't ask for, raising concerns about whether it was vegetarian-friendly. It would be better if they asked before adding it. We went ahead and ate it, assuming they wouldn’t put it on a vegetarian pizza if it wasn’t. Overall, the food was lovely, and other staff members seemed attentive, polite, and professional. However, the chefs should remove their AirPods as it is neither hygienic nor safe in case they fall into the food. We usually tip, but we didn’t feel this experience warranted it. We are very disappointed and will not be returning to this restaurant , Despite it being the closest location to us, I’d rather drive to Birmingham.

Despite ticking the boxes of quality and delivery factors, value for money is through the floor. Very disappointed with the cost.

The food took one hour and 45 min to get home. When the food arrived the pizza was cold and the pasta was bearly warm. Very disappointed. I have been charged £3.00 and the food was super late.

Very nice pizza place. I would highly recommend their pizza but that’s not true about some of their starters. The interior is very well lit and there is a lot of seating. Very comfortable for large groups. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is ample parking in nearby streets.

Had a wonderful experience as usual today! It’s been around 2 years since I have popped in, I came back with my 3year old today, and we had the best and loveliest waiter 🥰 Francis (hope I’ve spelt it correctly!) my son adored him! Our food was yummy and very quickly delivered to the table! Thank you for being so lovely today Coventry have always had a fab team! I hope Francis doesn’t go anywhere as my son has already asked when we are returning to see our new friend! 🤣

Love pizza express. This was by far the best bbq burnt ends pizza & calamari I have tried so far from eating in leeds, newcastle, Birmingham and Leicester. Just unreal!

Pizza is nice but was delivered cold, seemed to be changed from one deliver driver to another, any complaints when you call up, they just tell you to go online. Sorry, poor customer service

Food ice cold when i finally got it after having to track him down on foot as i had already stood outside and waved him over but he then went in the opposite direction. Resulting in cold food and also missing the coca cola bottle that I ordered.

The location is hidden but better than the other options in the area.

Food was really well presented and delicious. Some things are a little expensive but it helps that the quality is excellent. We had Gluten Free N'Duja Doughballs (🥵😋) and a Burnt Ends BBQ pizza. They were fantastic. Wife's Bellini mocktail was also lovely. Andrea, our server, was FABULOUS!! Really attentive, helpful and pleasant. Also knew and advised on what GLUTEN FREE options we could have. However, one little gripe, I do feel that the drinks, particularly soft drinks, are ridiculously expensive especially for only 330ml serving. You could at least offer free refills for the price like some other restaurants. Other than that, we had a lovely lunch. Recommended.

Was expecting almost half an hour for delivery, it was here in 15 minutes! Loved the taste of mine but not so keen on the texture (but that's just me being fussy)

A great place in Coventry for you pizza lovers. Situated in a quiet corner just outside the town center. Walk out of Belgrade plaza car Park and you don't have to go far . Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

I have ordered from Uber eats pizza, chicken drumsticks with lemon and herbs and Hallumi bites absolutely drowned in oil, the chicken is not fresh you can taste it for £27 this is how much I’ve spent on Uber eats on the meal you can definitely eat something better. Not worth the money!!!.

I had a starter main starter of Chilli King Prawn and BBQ Burnt End Pizza and drank a ginger drink. The service was excellent and the food was very good and the atmosphere no one will fault it except that the pizza took a while to get ready but it was sizzling hot and worth the wait when it arrived. The NCP multistorey parking is a stone throw from this location so packing is not an issue and there is a wheelchair chair accessible entrance. The servers were polite and wore a smile throughout. Though the food is quite pricey the service covers for that. You should try the BBQ Burnt End.

The driver was late and our food was very cold.

Quite honestly the worse take away we have ever had. Pizza soggy and cold. Mezzine burnt right through obviously not freshly cooked quite possibly from yesterday absolutely uneatable. The Calamari was okay but I don’t eat so couldn’t share the and the bread was fine I certainly won’t order from here again . Very obvious different qualand as we have had this meal at the restaurant where it is delicious very dissapointed and if we had been at the restaurant we would have returned immediately

From ordering to delivery was nearly 2 hours. The food tasted nice once heated up again. Second time JustEat have done this recently.

I ordered at 17:32 and received my pizza at 20:10. The pizza is cold, toppings are congealed and the delivery time was simply unacceptable.

Oh my word. I hate putting a negative review but I have to say the two pizzas I ordered were absolutely terrible and will never eat at pizza express again. However the staff were friendly and really helpful and nice.

Great place for some pizza and chill. A bit pricey but worth it. Got mine for a takeaway and it was still warm and ready on time

The pizza topping had slid of the base and was cold and discusting it was thrown in the bin and I have asked for a full refund.

Home delivery. Pizza cold and the box had been on its side so squashed and battered Called the establishment, as usual these days, answered by an individual who really has no time or concern for customer service or issues. Explained the issues, ' not our fault, just eat drivers fault' blah blah I learnt something a long time ago. Business doesn't go away, it goes elsewhere. This is what I will do from now on and at least in relation to home delivery, I suggest others do the same or use a reliable and customer service based pizza delivery company that cares about YOU, the people who pay their wages and provide their profit.

We had an early meal after our matinée performance. It was a delicious meal. My husband had a pizza and I had a salad bowl. Both were delicious and pretty good portions. Nice atmosphere and the wait staff were friendly and helpful. The fire alarm did go off when we were in there but they eventually turned it off! Would’ve liked more dairy free options.
