Pizza Express in Harrow

Best food and service ever! Thank you ❤️

Our normal Ruislip branch was fully booked and so we booked a table at the Harrow Branch for the PE 60 birthday celebration. We were quickly shown to our table. The waitress explained the menu and we ordered our starters and pizzas which we had amend as we're both veggies. The fiery dough balls were underwhelming. Our pizzas were more crispy than normal and had to ask for a cutter. The biggest letdown was our chocolate fudge cake which was now 50% larger. Well the photo clearly shows that it is same or may 10% more. Also having only 2 waiting staff and a manager during a busy night meant the service was not as expected (compared to impeccable service at our normal Ruislip branch) and so our experience was a little disappointing.

Visited the Harrow restaurant to grab the anniversary 33p pizza. Unfortunately couldn't get a table in the half empty restaurant so that saved the company a fair bit of money. Nice one Pizza Express. P.s. Had to give 1 star to get published.

Today I ordered pizza and I got shock when I saw that the price for this pizza is very expensive and very poor item when you order from another pizza shop you not gonna be hungry but it was my first time and will last time

We got here after a movie with very hungry kids. Food came quickly and kids loved it. Ka per was a brilliant help... Realising when food needed to come quickly and watching tables so that the next course was served before we could ask for it

Kacper at Pizza Expeess harrow branch was wonderful. Lovely with the kids and pleasant to talk to and very helpful. The best server we have had in pizza express in years.

I had an amazing experience at PizzaExpress, and I just have to give a shoutout to Kacper for the fantastic service! From the moment we walked in, he was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was just right. Kacper went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Definitely looking forward to coming back! Highly recommend!

There were only 2 waiting staff for a Friday evening!!!! The restaurant was fairly busy. We waited for 5 minutes to be seated. Then, another 15 minutes for the lady to take our order , then another 10 minutes for me to get my beer and glass of water. The manager didn't even bother looking at people waiting at the table, just incase he was requested to provide water or ask for something. They were more busy with deliveries. Service staff didn't care for servicing the tables. The kitchen had 4/5 people working hard, but just 2 service staff. If this is the way they want to operate , it won't be long before the restaurant shuts down. They need more friendly waiting staff. Guess Prezzo opposite will have my business next time

Had an amazing dining experience at Pizza express ! The food was delicious, the service from our server Miss Zaklin was outstanding very friendly, attentive, and fast—and the atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Terrible experience and even worst manager. We went to our drinks half empty, the other waiter realised that after pointing out and remade it, which still had terrible taste as diluted coffee. After our starter arrived, we were more disappointed as it was cold and calamari was undercooked.. manager excuse was that if we wanted more crispy, we should ask for well done, but that wasn't case as it was simply undercooked. When ordering pizza, we asked which crust is thicker, manager who took our order said romana and then when we asked why we got thin crust she were saying that's what we wanted and she did say it can be only on classic pizza but she didn't said that to us but she said its our fault. Not a single apology for bad customer service and menu knowledge and basic human contact from the manager, she was passive-agressive towards us. Anub (male waiter) is the only one who has any skills and is geniue nice person. The manager was named Sherine (not sure about spelling), and sbe doesn't deserve to be even called to be a manager. Send her to some course with customer service. Btw good think will be name badges for workers.

It’d give it negative starts if possible. Service was disgusting. Left sat for majority of the time waited an hour just for the bill food wasn’t worth the wait. Do not come here horrible choice spend ur money elsewhere. I AM APPALLED. Servers ignored us and had a horrible attitude towards us the whole meal. Dragged a half an hour meal to almost a two hour stay. Find another place to visit. £60 wasted.

The service was sooooo slow. Took 15-20 minutes after being seated to be served. Staff look bored. No enthusiasm and we were just not satisfied. Would not come back again. Very disappointing.

I went to dine in at pizza express in harrow and flrointina was real helpful in taking my order and the chef Andrei was always nice and smiling.

Great restaurant! With lovely comfy seats in the corners where you can have really good private chats with your friends.

Food arrived quickly and tasted good

We have visited this restaurant a few times and mostly the service is poor and they usually get the order wrong. It is good value for money but it can be frustrating when you don’t get the food you’ve ordered or end up spending almost an hour waiting for mains and then still there an hour after that paying the bill for lunch. It may be that we are unlucky as other reviews indicate good service etc but we tend to avoid this pizza express.

The most appalling service ever. They are under staffed on a very busy time. After being seated we were ignored for 20mins. I actually had to ask if there was a waitress to serve our table. Then another the starters came at different times. The children starter were server 20 minutes after ordering but adults hadn’t had their starters when the children their mains. Finally after 45 minutes one adult mains were served. I understand the staff are under pressure but clearly the uber service takes priority over the customer dining in

Extremely slow service. Waited over 20 minutes just to be acknowledged. I had to get out of my seat and walk to a waiter to get their attention. Whilst the restaurant was busy it was by no means at full capacity. Throughout the meal it was a struggle to get the attention of any waiter. Only once I was done with my food was I approached and asked if I needed anything. I flagged this experience with the manager and he bluntly replied thank you for your feedback, there was no consideration of my experience. As a regular Pizza Express client this was a big let down! Do better.

Good vegan options, had the pizza made large, and dough balls with chocolate sauce.

I had the terrible experience ordering from Pizza Express. The pizza had two stuck bases and was uncooked. I ate a slice and realised it a bit later. Such unprofessional and lack of attention. Wings were overly cooked and burnt. I am feeling sick already of eating it. I can’t believe that they would not even check the pizza properly before packing.

Terrible Experience at Pizza Express Harrow Vue - Awful Waiting Time! I recently visited Pizza Express at Harrow Vue, and I must say, it was an absolute disaster. I’ve been to many Pizza Express locations before, but this one took the cake for the longest and most frustrating wait ever. We arrived on 6:40pm and allocated a table. But it took so much time for someone to come ask for an order. Fine, we thought, no problem. However, we got out starters but we waited and waited for a pizza to come, that 20 minutes turned into 45, then over an hour! The staff seemed completely disorganised and made no effort to update us or apologise for the ridiculous delay. Many people came after us and got their order served before us and they left with paying their bills, but here we kept on waiting. When approached one of the staff she replied saying I need to double check, when we stood up they pretend to say pizza was burned but it cant take you to make another pizza for 45 min of you burned the first one. There was no acknowledgment of the delay or any attempt to make things right. It's clear that this location is seriously understaffed and poorly managed. I won’t be returning, and I’d advise others to avoid this restaurant if they don’t want to waste their time and money

We went to Pizza Express st. George's Harrow a couple of weeks ago. We had booked a place well in advance.The experience we had was beyond terrible! We waited 15 mins before anyone even came to take our order( they finally came when I went and called someone to take the order). A glass of wine took 20 mins to arrive. after asking twice we were told they had no glasses. After another 30 mins and repeatedly enquiring we got our starter which was nothing complicated ( a plate of dough balls) the mains did not arrive even though multiple times the waitress kept telling us 5 mins each time we asked. (By this time 45 mins had passed and still no mains which consisted of 1 pizza ) We finally went and asked that our order for mains be cancelled! At which point the manager came n kept making excuses as to why the service was so bad and asked us to pack our order and take it home! The nerve! after repeatedly asking finally cancelled the order for mains which had still not arrived. The place was terribly managed where the manager had totally lost the plot, chef's were coming out of the kitchen to serve customers as they were incredibly short staffed and the wait staff had no clue what they were doing. ( At one point the waitress that was serving us just stood in the middle of the restaurant confused and overwhelmed not knowing where to go next) We were hungry at this point and walked out after paying for what we had consumed till then and had to go and get food elsewhere. 1 Hr of my life I will never get back! Friday date night totally ruined! Overall a Terrible experience! I would give a minus 1 if I could for this place!!

Absolutely terrible service. If you go alone you'll be ignored. Over cooked doughballs and almost an hour for a bit of spag bol. Not even a glasses of water offered. Avoid and go to another branch or better yet find an actual Italian restaurant!

We went out with a couple of friends and enjoyed every second of it. The service was very nice and pleasant. They took good care of us and of our orders :)) The atmosphere was relaxed, and it felt like you got a taste of Italy. We will totally be back for more!! ♡

Piroska is a great waitress, fun and bubbly. The kids enjoyed their three course meal, great value and I enjoyed the adult pizza for £8. Good value, taste and atmosphere.

Ordered a delivery. Large La Reine. Had it from Pizza Express many times before and no issues. Today however. The person who made it, must be thinking how much profit can I make. Instead of what it should look like. I got 4 slices of ham, hardly any cheese. And as for mushrooms, we’ll must have been short in stock. For £20.20 it should have had loads. Well penny pitching Pizza Express Chef, you done well. I definitely won’t be going back to Pizza Express. Shame really. Only takes one bad apple in the team. If you lose one customer. I’m sure others will follow.

It took 15 minutes just to place an order and another 25 minutes to receive the bill. I eventually had to get up and ask if I could pay. Meanwhile, I noticed two staff members sitting around doing nothing. They could have been more helpful. I ordered food, and while it took 15 minutes to arrive, which is understandable, the calamari was completely burnt. The smell of it was noticeable even before it reached the table.

Pizza Express Harrow never fails to disappoint in terms of its total lack of service. We had to wait approximately 10mins to be seated. We were ignored several times whilst standing at the front. Once seated, it took about 15mins for someone to come to our table to take our order and another 20mins or so to have the food served. It was just delay after delay, including waiting to have to pay our bill. In the end, we put our coats on and got up and then a waiter scuttled over to take payment. An alarm was going off (presumably from an oven timer) the whole 1hr15 we were there, which was incredibly annoying after a while. There wasn't a hope in hell of summoning someone to turn it off as they were always otherwise engaged and avoided eye contact when doing other tasks. Food is average at best. The core menu never changes and is just boring now. There is no delight to the palate, surprise or joy in eating the food. The whole concept really needs a revamp, including the decor, dining experience and menu. The few staff there are so rushed off their feet with deliveries, they cannot pay any mind to the customers actually in the restaurant and this has to change if they are to keep the footfall in the restaurants themselves. They need more staff! I definitely won't be going again out of choice.

Food was very good. I had carbonara. Small portion. Real disappointment was the service. Long wait for order to be taken then for food. Only 3 servers that I saw. They need more staff.

The place offers great taste, food and environment. Even the staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend their vegan 🌱 pizza.

Shirina was fabulous in understanding our dietary needs and helpful to get us excellent food.

We always enjoy coming here. The service is great. I had the new soho pizza and it was delicious. My friend had the carbonara pasta and enjoyed it too. The only thing that lets it down is the fact that it is open plan-ish with the rest of the shopping centre so it can be quite noisy.

Lovely atmosphere in this restaurant. The staff were very accommodating, providing my son with extra colours for his drawing. I also was able to use my voucher to receive a free cookbook and bottle of wine! The food was good. I am coeliac and need to eat gluten free food. Sometimes gluten free pizzas are not great but this one was very tasty. Thank you!

Pizza Express, St George’s, Harrow never fails. Every time myself & my friends go, the staff are amazing in particular Bhuja & Yanla - there is nothing that isn’t too much trouble for them however busy they are - this week was the school bank holiday & it was mega busy but still Yanla who served us on this occasion, was so lovely & helpful & worked so hard. Even though it was so busy, we were not rushed - a lovely atmosphere, thank you Yanla & Bhuja.. Helen xx

Very friendly staff, food is very good!

I decided to give Pizza Express another shot after many years of avoiding it, and I was very pleasantly sirprised. I came with my two children who are 3 years old and 2 years old, and I was provided with a high chair for the youngest. As well as activity sheets, crayons, and paper hats that kept my kids distracted as we waited on the food. I wish others restaurant's followed this initiative, as children really can not sit for too long before bordam strikes so this was very helpful. The food itself was delicious, and I can easily say that it is probably my favourite pizza place by far. For starters we ordered some hot honey doughballs that actually had a kick and came with a side of honey, as well as mozzarella bites that come with some pasta sauce type sauce on the side. The doughballs actually had a bit of a kick too which was nice, and the mozerella bites had a lovely crunch to them. For the mains we ordered a margarita pizza and a lovely fresh bowl of salad, which had so many things in it. It was probably the best salad I've eaten till date. Crunchy, tasty, well dressed, and full of flavour. Definitely a 10/10.

Service really bad. Wasn't very busy and yet such a long wait for food and to give an order. Someone else was shown a seat, waited for his order to be taken for 15mins, he was ignored so left. Food not great. Not correct ingredients and missing items. Service a very big concern.

Having eaten here 50 times or more and always used tesco club card vouchers it appears that it now takes 3 people to manage the bill and they all need to have it explained to them how the vouchers work !
