Decided to go for lunch last week and had a lovely meal! Excellent service from Eve our waitress, was super helpful with any questions we had.

Food was nice and came quickly, our waitress Eve was lovely. Wile will definitely be back.

I came here on Wednesday and was thoroughly impressed by the food and service. I had a Bruno which was excellent and was served by the lovely waitress who was called Eve I believe. 10/10 will be back again!

I came in yesterday around lunch time as I was passing through Sheffield. I was pleasantly surprised by the light-hearted atmosphere, their incredible pizza and the politeness and dedication of the staff. The sweet girl with the glasses who ran my food in particular was the highlight of my visit. She was so vibrant, attentive and engaging. The handsome young gentleman that waited on us was also a charismatic delight. His playful energy was refreshing. What started as a stop in Chapeltown on the way to visit family has become an absolute must-have. Worth the drive!

Lovely meal! Our waitress Eve was super friendly and very helpful, we were welcomed with a smile when we first arrived. Restaurant was clean and a nice atmosphere!!

Recientemente tuve una experiencia realmente decepcionante en Pizza Express en Meadowhall. Tenía un cupón con dinero que alguien lamentablemente debió robarme porque no lo encontré cuando lo dejé en la mesa y cuando me acerqué al personal para pedir ayuda, no se lo tomaron en serio en absoluto. En lugar de mostrar empatía, se rieron y fueron bastante groseros. Fue increíblemente frustrante sentirme despedido así, especialmente cuando solo estaba tratando de disfrutar de una comida. Esperaba un mejor servicio al cliente y soporte en una situación como esta. No voy a volver pronto.

It was extremely busy , we got told it had a 45 minute wait, but got our food earlier so that was good but… When u ordered i asked for olives on my pizza when it arrived, there was no olives , Very disappointing! Dough balls are briliant! best bit about it was the dough balls😂

My daughter fancied some pizza so I popped down over to pizza express and overall the food was okay, but definitely fulfilling, but honestly I am writing this review to talk about the service. The service was 5/5, I had a lovely young lady called Sanya serve us and she was so interactive with my daughter and it just made us feel so welcoming, her interaction with us honestly made our day, from the moment we entered all the way until the end she made sure that we were well accommodated and she was very patient with us whilst we chose what to eat. It is quite refreshing to see people like this because usually service at restaurants in Meadow hall is really really bad, so this was definitely a pleasant surprise. So thank you Sanya!

Came here during the weekend and I have to say- the service was absolutely remarkable. I usually don't write reviews but our server- Sanya was fantastic. She was quick and efficient and gave us so many good recommendations! Will definitely be visiting again. The food was also nice and it is definitely a nice spot to eat at in between shopping.

Delivery Time kept getting pushed back

Food was perfect and there was a pleasant atmosphere even though it was a little busy. Having said that the service we received from our waitress Sanya was faultless, and she truly made our experience so much better. She was great to chat to, and was so attentive and friendly. Thank you so much!

my order was about 1 hour and 20mins late, it was freezing when it arrived, I called the resturant who said it was sent out ages ago but yet it took so long to arrive. I can only claim back £5 from from my £20 order.

Visited with a friend tonight, pizza was delicious and our server Connor was lovely, nothing too much trouble and served relatively fast for a Friday night. Can’t complain👍🏼

Tuvimos una gran comida, la comida era excelente servicio rápido y eficiente y amable, una sonrisa vale un millón de dólares, El chef trabajó muy duro para obtener una comida fabulosa.

Pizza was good as always but the mac and cheese was lacking in flavour - considering the price. Service was good though a bit manic at the start due to the busy lunchtime.

It was odd the pasta on top a and cheese were burnt on the Mac and Cheese but the pasta at the bottom was hard and everything was cold when delivered.

Our meal came promptly and was delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive too.

Review of Pizza Express, Meadowhall Oasis I don’t usually write reviews, but after this experience, I feel compelled. We recently visited Pizza Express at Meadowhall Oasis, and it was, quite frankly, disappointing. The pizza itself was a disaster. The base was undercooked and doughy, and there was hardly any cheese on it — shocking considering this is the bare minimum you'd expect from a pizza. I understand that eating pizza out isn’t supposed to be fine dining, but getting the basics wrong, like cooking the base properly and putting enough cheese on, is unacceptable. To make matters worse, the service was not the best, which added to an already unpleasant experience. This visit has left such a bad impression that we will never be returning to this location again. For a chain that is supposed to pride itself on quality, this was a complete letdown. Save your money and go elsewhere!

Llamado para aprovechar la oferta de O 2 Priority Pizza - Menú por entrada tenía una variedad de opciones en 'Classic Pizza', pero menú en el interior solo tenía 4 que se incluyeron en la misma sección nombrada Pedido 2 refrescos para recibir latas y vasos por £ 3. 50 - Entiendo que es un restaurante, pero 2 x 50 latas de pop y un vaso pequeño fue inesperado - si las hubieran traído pre - vertidas no lo hubiéramos sabido pero verlo parece que es caro. Las pizzas eran buenas, sin embargo, habría sido bueno tener un cortador de pizza o un cuchillo más afilado para comer con - habríamos solicitado esto, pero no había nadie que pasara a preguntar.

My daughter (10) has been tonight with extended family she is additional needs and food is extremely tricky for her, she doesn't eat pizza but will eat garlic bread however there wasn't a big sized one available on the menu but when asked they made her one, no fuss no huffing not being made out to be causing extra work for the staff nothing just plain and simple made the garlic bread. I will be bringing my children again personally. Thankyou so much!

Expensive as hell, 17/18 pounds for a pizza the thickness of a sheet of paper. They are homemade and were very good, but the fact that they are so thin seems like an insult to me. One of the two pizzas was a little more cooked than the other and the dough was crunchy/hard, so you ended up with pain in your temples from the effort of chewing. The other one was soft.

The food was great however, the service both times I have been to this pizza express has been dreadful. If you don’t mind sitting around for hours on end waiting on food or to pay your bill this is the place for you.

Mixed feelings with this one. My pizza was great my wife’s salad was large and had loads of tuna. However the tables either side of us had to send their dishes back because the food was stone cold despite the dish’s being very hot. We also had to wait 15 minutes before our order was taken, then another 30 minutes to get it and the restaurant wasn’t even busy at 12.00

Pizza is a bit too salty, halloumi was cut to pieces - the portion is not a lot.

Our food never came. When I called the restarurant I was told the driver had left with it but it never arrived. This has now happened twice.

Came for last night at 9 o’clock, firstly was stood at the door stand waiting to be seated for ages, then I watched what I believe to be a manager approach a waitress to tell her we was waiting to be seated, where she clearly made a remark and rolled her eyes and head back which obviously set the experience off to an awful start. We was then served by the same waitress who had blonde hair and big eyelashes didn’t even get her name. She had a terrible attitude, was rude and didn’t give a shit really. She gave us an unwelcoming start and just an overall terrible service. She lingered around our table just waiting for the moment we put our cutlery down to snatch our plates and make us rush. I didn’t even want to be sat there she made us that uncomfortable, there was only two of us so we would’ve been in and out anyways. I’m a Senior chef at a well known extremely busy restaurant who has also worked FOH so to get this was shocking! I would never recommended going here! I understand you closed at 10 but that whole performance from your waitress was disgusting!!!!

Pizza express? Brand name is misleading. We were seated at 12:05, the restaurant was not full at this point. I then had to call a waiter over after 15 minutes just to ask for some water. They eventually came and took out food order, however at 13:05 we decided to leave as no food had arrived. There were other tables around us that came in after us who had their orders taken and food brought to the table all while we were waiting. We were a table of 2 and our order was far from complicated. When we explained we were leaving, the waiter was very apologetic however there was no where near enough staff and the kitchen was overwhelmed. I will not be returning.

Decided to come and try pizza express as it's been a while since I've been, and i didn't enjoy it before, but was told it is better now. The food was good. We did the 3 course meal and then paid for an extra main and shared the starter and dessert. We had the calamari for starters and there was at least 9 squid rings so very good for a starter portion. We then has the special pesto pizza and the garlic prawn. These were good thin pizzas, very big. We then had the sticky toffee for pudding as they didn't have any chocolate cake. The bill was under £50 so split between two I think is quite good. was definitely full when we left. The only downfall was the service. It took over 10 minutes for anyone to come up to us, and then when they eventually did they apologised and said that they were confused who's section we were in, so they wasn't sure who was meant to be looking after us. I was ready to give it another 5 minutes before we were going to leave. I appreciate them saying sorry, but was really not happy that it took over 10 minutes before anyone would even come up, especially when we saw the staff just chatting at till/bar not even considering the fact we had sat down

That is a child portion pizza not regular.. definitely not worth full price as is extremely tiny!!!! Also pizza should arrive at 4.30 and arrive at 4.55

Delicious food, they were good and accommodating about bringing out my daughter's birthday cake with candles etc.

The entire order was clap cold and we ordered some wedges, we opened the box and the portion size was just ridiculous

Very disappointed with the poor service we received from PizzaExpress Meadowhall staff. The staff member was very unhelpful when we requested a slightly larger table at 3pm in the afternoon. The restaurant was virtually empty but the staff member refused our request. Her excuse was that they were expecting a lot of customers from 5pm. We explained that we won’t be staying very long. We then received a poor apology from the manager on duty - ‘Well I’m sorry IF YOU FEEL that you received a bad service from my staff…’. It was a birthday lunch but sadly we didn’t stay for the meal. It was not a nice experience. We won’t be dining at PizzaExpress Meadowhall again. I have sent a formal complaint to PizzaExpres.

Went with large group (16 people incl. 6 kids), took a very long time to order all drinks. Small pasta portions. Salads all good, no complaints. Good pizza. Tasty drinks

Wasn't too busy (6.30pm on a Wednesday) and we just had a main meal and drink. Staff very polite and the food was good. If you are familiar with Pizza Express then you will know what it is like, this was a good one.

Our server Connor is a credit to this place. His lovely service made my mum and my experience so wonderful and he made the restaurant very welcoming and comfortable. The Calabrese was amazing. Good sized portions and a delicious meal.

Totally disgusted this eve, went for a meal with my wife and daughter and when I paid using your new app, you added £10.54 tip on a £79 meal without asking. That’s stealing in my book. Not impressed. Beware of the new app and paying your bill on it…..

So 1st time here,and understandably all eateries are busier when an event on at arena.. Managed to get a table here..OH liked his pizza..I had a pasta dish..WAs lovely very sizzling maybe a big too much as I didn't have a lot of sauce left,but it was OK nice to have food before the show.. Staff work hard and very efficient..

The staff are great! The food was lovely, we tried one of the new pizzas and it is a great addition to the menu. It was a shame though, that we couldn’t have coffee or hot chocolate, not too sure why we just told that they couldn’t do it.

I came on Sunday, despite how busy it was our server; I forgot her name, I believe it was Sanu or Sanya was delightful and accommodating. I had a sloppy giuseppe and my wife had a lasagne. I asked for a side of polenta chips however, it arrived soggy but my waitress sorted the problem immediately. I did have an slight issue with the individual who brought our food over, she huffed when I asked for a dip, we ignored it but we thought it was slightly rude. Overall, the waitress made our time much better, and the desserts were presented beautifully.

2 hour wait, turned up cold, lacking cheese, shrivelled up mess of a pizza- looked like it had been made 2 hours before delivery.

We have just come back from a lovely meal in this restaurant. We both had very tasty pizzas and lovely desserts. My partner said that the GF pizza she had was one of the best she had ever had. The waitress was also very friendly and gave us good service.

This is not the best Pizza Express I have been to. We came at 5pm when it was pretty quiet, however this made no impact on the service. The waiter barely spoke to us which came across a bit rude, and the service was so slow that people who were waiting to be seated just left because it took too long. I wouldn’t come back as there are much better Pizza Express restaurants in Sheffield. I would also add that we were sat by the fake plants which were absolutely covered in dust, and the pop up leaflet on the table was covered in sauce.

Came here for dinner around 5pm, been to a few pizza expresses in Sheffield. The food was lovely as usual however the lasagne was missing the basil leaf as garnish, the ones in city centre always put these on. Another thing to point out we didn’t get a spoon to eat pasta with which usually is given. Finally note the tap water jug could’ve done with a slice of lemon. However again, the food was great and student discount is fab, these are quite nit picky complaints. The service was average and the waiter was a man of few words, we were sat outer edge of the restaurant near fake plants which were covered in dust and fluff. We did also see people waited to be seated but walked away as no one came to them. Atmosphere could’ve done with some radio or music as there were speakers in the restaurant but nothing playing.

Fine good. Expensive but so is everywhere. Good atmosphere and although it was packed the waitress was very personable.

Freezing pizza. Came very quickly but arrived stone cold. A little under cooked too. Either they keep a bunch cooked and prepared pizza in cold storage or cook on the spot and put it in the fridge while they do the sides and arrange delivery. Unacceptable when you normally spend 30 and up for just a pizza and a few tiny dough balls.

First time visit for valentines and was 10/10 for everything inc food, prices, service from all staff etc. Definitely recommend their signature dough balls

Booked a table but still had to join the queue which allowed walk ins ahead of a booked customer. All adding time to the waits. No point booking, shame as the food is not too bad.

Visited tonight for the first time as a family of 4 and we absolutely loved it from start to finish. All the pizza's was absolutely delicious and fresh and the chocolate fudge cake was the best we have had. Will definitely be back soon
