Avoid if you like thai food, or if your yet too try thai food 😅 you may be put off

We had ordered Pad Thai tofu, vegetable spring rolls and vegetarian Thai. I enjoyed vegetarian Thai most of three, spring rolls were awful and pad Thai was decent.. could have added some more veggies in pad Thai Portions were really good. They have very bigger space but somehow ambience was of like take away/ fast food type joint that’s what name suggests too. They can do improvise and give nice touch to their interiors and can uplift the whole ambience. Staff was decent though it’s primarily order yourself, and unlike restaurant served in disposables with disposable cutlery, so service really didn’t count. Prices are decent enough. Place didn’t disappoint.

They have a lunch deal for 10.95 that's a main and a drink, and they don't charge an additional service charge. The portions and taste are pretty great for the price! There's vegan options available too! Loved it.

If you love Thai food, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

Fresh good food! A bit too oily

Came here yesterday. We ordered Nua Kao and Beef Loc Lac. The staff was very helpful. The food portion was perfect. And a pocket friendly place. Definitely gonna come back.

We went to Pitaya on The Strand twice and had very different experiences. The first time was on Boxing Day 2023 before we went to the theatre. We thought the food and experience were simply amazing. There was a lady at the door to greet us, seat us, and to explain how things worked; you order at the til or with the QR code and food is brought out staggered as it’s all cooked fresh. The food was exceptional that day. The balance of flavours in the beef rice bowl was spot on and everything was presented beautifully with a healthy portion. The soy sauce was delicate and the crunchy and colourful salad with chopped veg gave such lovely texture- all part of the dish. We went again yesterday afternoon and I ordered the same bowl. No staff at the door, which is okay, but my issue was really with the food. It was nothing like the previous time. There was a stodgy rice and too much of it, along with the veg that wasn’t cut into small pieces but lay there in think strips with lots of lettuce. The beef was cooked alright but when I mixed the bowl, there was literally a pool of soy sauce on the bottom. It covered everything and made it sticky and sweet. It was nothing like the previous experience of authentic and delicate flavours. Nice people. Good concept. But lack of consistency means I don’t trust coming back or recommending.

Had a beautiful quick meal here on the 29th Dec . Absolutely gorgeous flavours and fresh. Look forward to coming back for a visit later in March.

The food was nice. The guy taking my order wasn't too friendly. I ordered the beef. I figured because I was in a place preparing prawns, I should let them know that I'm allergic to prawns, just so extra care is taken with my beef dish. The guys response was, "Well, it's an open kitchen 🤷‍♂️" Ok, but that's not what I asked. I didn't ask anything. I just wanted to let them know in case of anything. Anyways I got my food. It was nice. A lady took my bowl when I was finished and was really sweet.

Shocking service we were still eating when they said we had to leave as they were closing we said can we finish he said no you have to go unbelievable never again plenty of other places to eat.

I don't think I will go there again, the rice was old and you can taste the rice that had been reheated, the green curry didn't taste good either. Prawn dynamite, the prawns were over fried. Staff needed some pills to get a smile out of them. I guess it's okay because the tourists won't notice. It's a shame.

You can order to your chosen table at the till or using the QR codes on the tables but the website is not the best. The staff were friendly and the food came quickly. The Thai green curry was nice and spicy and you got a good portion. Wasn't a fan of the beef bobun with spring rolls as it wasn't to my taste. The fillings for the spring rolls were a bit mushy and the bobun beef wasn't tender. If you need to use the toilet, you have to ask for a code for the door which takes you to a stainless steel bowl with no seat. Overall the food was good and the tables were clean and well stocked with packaged cutlery and napkins.

Purely wastage of money, I ate food for £35 which was something that inedible. Food quality and taste is appalling, no value for money.

Amazing place with delicious Thai halal food

Below average food for me. The restaurant has an oil smell. The basement floor is far away though from the food.

yummy halal Thai food in central London. We tried their basil chicken with rice, pad thai and chicken tom yum. The basil chicken is very comforting, and tasty. The tom yum is one of the best in London. not too sour, rich with flavour. The service is relatively fast and the atmosphere is lovely. Recommended.

Great place for a quick Thai meal. Nice variety on the menu, huge portion sizes and the food arrived very quickly.

Freshly made and tasty food. First time visited the place, helpful staff. Food is halal, which was cherry on top! Ordered tom yum soup and sweet&sour chicken. It was super crowded, but food is made from scratch. Do visit once!

Went there the yesterday with a friend ended up getting beef loc lac and she got pad Thai. The beef loc lac was a bit chewy and barely any it also tasted like was slightly burnt at the bottom of the bowl there was so much soy sauce it was very overpowering and not much flavour. Since then I’ve had an upset stomach and I’m sure I got food poisoning as I have other symptoms. There’s also a bunch of flavourless red rice I’m assuming it’s some tomato base but again no taste. The pad Thai was also flavourless and the the noodle was very glutenous and sticky she’s been Thailand so she knows how it supposed to taste like and it wasn’t close to the original at all

My wife and I both had a meal here. I asked for little cooking oil as I know all asian establishments use hell of lot of oil. The food was DRENCHED in oil - at least several tablespoons at bottom of my bowl. Very heavy and unhealthy feeling after. Never again! If its like this when you request low oil, i can imagine how it is if you dont!!

Service rapide et personnel agréable. J'ai pris un plat végétarien copieux et savoureux. Mon ami à pris un plat avec du poulet et de la salade composée. Malheureusement ils ont du oublier la sauce. C'était donc très fade et sec. Afin d'améliorer le plat et de réellement le savourer, nous avons demandé un peu de sauce. La réponse ?? Elles sont en suppléments... on comprend donc que l'unique objectif de l'établissement est de se faire un max d'argent sur le dos des touristes. Au-revoir l'expérience client et sa satisfaction 😔

Come at least once per week. Food is very authentic!

We sat down, ordered on our phones, and they brought the food out to us. I’m the not biggest Pad Thai fan. I ordered the Dynamite Chicken from the starter menu with a side of rice. My friend got the Pad Thai. We honestly weren’t impressed with the food. We’ve been to other Thai places before, but something was off about this place. The flavors were weird. We wouldn’t go again.

A favourite of mine and my work colleagues, and for good reason. Tasty food, friendly staff and neatly decorated interior, which includes a tuk tuk right near the entrance! Protion sizes are good for the price, and definitely filling. Good choice if you like asian food!

We just had prawn phad thai & chicken satay my phad thai tasted burnt & was greasy & the chicken satay was really greasy. Starters of dynamic prawns were lovely as was salad but again my partner's chicken spring rolls were very greasy. So disappointed as I LOVE thai food . The staff never spoke to us except to ask who was having what .

Restaurant has 2 floors. Orders are via a QR code. Nice variety of Thai street food - not being Thai myself, I can't really say if it's authentic or not. But it does taste nice. Only gripe was that I ordered some noodles with chilli in it. There was no evidence of any chilli in the food and was given some dried chilli to make up for it! I was also given a free bottle of water which was nice.

The "Pad Thai" here was unrecognizable, without even a hint of tamarind or fish sauce. I can't remember a time I've been more dissapointed with a meal at a restaurant.

Plenty of space for wheelchair. Staff very accommodating. Fantastic food. Lovely atmosphere. Look forward to going back next time in London

Very disappointing! Pad Thai was soo dry, one of the worst I’ve ever had. When I asked for chili sauce they just gave chili pepper flakes. Said we needed to pay extra for even soy sauce. Food was very bland, besides the dynamite prawns which was the only item we enjoyed. Would not come back here unfortunately.

I ordered beef pad Thai, the beef was hard and chewy and the beef looked like it was from a few days ago, smelled like expired beef

It's more of a fast food place than proper restaurant I would say so don't expect full table service. Having said that the food was great tasting and freshly cooked so would certainly go again. You need to order at the till or using the app but they do bring food to your table once it is ready.

First time trying Thai food, went with some friends. We all enjoyed the experience - delicious food, well prepared & presented and good value for the money. Really small toilet room, no space to move.

We ordered food and the stuff decided its the right time to wash the window with just above the kitchen where the food was made! Insane! Totally in shock! The wok with our food is just under this guy arms!!!

Absolutely delicious food! Thai red prawn curry stole my heart. Recommending it to more people, please don't let any one down. I believe your prawn skewers could have been better.

Overall it was a good experience. The food is halal and tasted alright, but was nothing spectacular.

Went for a late dinner, and it was really good. Nice place, friendly staff and yummy food. Good price as well.

I got the La Vie Bacon Pad Thai. It was nice. Though some of my bacon pieces were slightly burnt. Vegan bacon doesn't take longer to fry like meat bacon. The Chefs should just manage the frying time for the bacon properly. Other than that, the food was nice.

Most bland meal I've had in years. Same for my friend. Great service and nice wooden cutlery though. Will never go back, either of us.

Always wanted to try street food and this was absolutely amazing and did not disappoint. Tried various dishes and they were all amazing. Staff are friendly and efficient and restaurant was very clean and tidy

Amazing Chicken Satay went their again yesterday before watching the Mamma Mia Musical! Ooo was it so delicious and a massive portion for the price! Love it and will forever be going there! Thank you so much for having us!

Came for a work lunch, really great food and great quality served quickly. It was a warm day but the air con in the basement was just far too low, we were shivering. Still would absolutely recommend, it was delicious!

This food was delicious and hot and ready! The Pad Thai Beef was tender and succulent. The service was top drawer and my only downside is that they don't deliver to Ashford, Kent!! Lol

Good value for money. I am environmental friendly. I don't like the idea to serve tea and wine I paper cup. Paper cup is made from sustainable forest. That's mean we cut the trees. I would prefer glad ceramic to reuse

It's conveniently situated close to the Adelphi Theatre. The combo fork and chopstick utensil was quite clever. You order either using a qr code or at the counter once you've got a table. The loo downstairs is guarded by a code, and the stalls are quite narrow, so don't have lots of clothes or a big bag with you if you use the toilet. The staff are quietly friendly. Overall a pleasant experience and delicious food

We got food from them close to midnight and it was fresh with great taste. They are nice and try to make sure their costumers are happy. Would try it again

Pretty good flavour, good concept for a dine-in place

Rather disappointing. Was really looking forward to eating here and luckily we managed to get space as it was Sunday evening and we are a family of 5. Space is rather limiting. Food in general simply had no “Thai” flavours. Or so mild in ingredients we could not tell. Simply put, tasted no different to any Chinese food which would have been noodles or nice based dishes. We ordered green curry which was super mild. Nua Kao was a rice based dish which had been stir fried. However this had no basil, or spices which were described. Dynamite prawns - not very dynamite. Panko fried prawns with sirracha based mayo on top. Chicken skewers - simple, these were nice. Tom yum with prawns. While the broth was tasty, it simply lacked the Thai robustness associated with a Tom yum. For a quick bite with friends it’s ok. Portions and presentation of food is decent. Prices are as expected in central London but don’t expect “street” prices.

simple Tay street food, but a good one. about 30 mins pordering + eating, if you need a very good meal, even with a family, on your way somewhere - this is a great solution. prices are good as well

Slow service and average food. Ordered to eat in and there were no condiments available - the food badly needed spice and was told I could get chilli sauce for 50p. There are better options in the area.

Food tasted fantastic, the prices are fair also the portion sizes are fair too. If I ever come to London I already know where I'll be going for lunch.

Recently visited this Thia-styled restaurant and loved the ambiance. However, the foood was far from authentic Thai. They tried, but the dishes were not well-spiced and tasted rushed/fast food. Nonetheless, the friendly staff made up for it. I ordered the Pad Thai, and although it wasn't the best I've had, it was ok. The noodles were a little overcooked, and the sauce lacked the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The beef/rice dish was decent, but again, it wasn't what I was hoping for in terms of authentic flavor. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, and the decor is lovely. I also appreciate that they are halal and cater to dietary restrictions. Overall, if you're looking for a Thai-inspired experience, this restaurant is worth checking out, but don't expect an authentic Thai meal.

Food was alright, the meat a bit dry. Waited over 40min for food and when we finally decided to inform the waiter it was clear that we had been forgotten, which is fine - that happens.. But not even a "sorry" from the cashier nor from the waitress, which was surprising here in London were people apologise just for existing.

Yellow curry was good, but there could be more curry for this amount of rice.

Had lunch in this place yesterday, me and my husband had pad Thai with shrimps, our son ordered chicken. Later on me and my husband had really terrible night vomiting and oth, today still feeling terrible! Our son is fine. Avoid!!!!!! Taste was so-so

We ordered the pad thai with tofu, it was in tasty pretty good. But the nudels were very sticky and sticked even to each other, that wasn't so nice to eat. Our order was quick served and safety packed for takeaway. The tofu was very good, had a nice falvor and wasn't too soft. Although it would have been a bit crunchier (not a problem, I assume it wasn't crunchy cause we had it takeaway and after 5min it was a bit soggy). The ambiente in the restaurant was good and had a mice vibe.

Our order took ages to arrive at our table. The green curry was bland. There are much better places in London to have Thai food.
