Pintoh Thong Thai Takeaway in Poole

I have been a regular here since I moved to the area and not once have I been let down! The food is excellent and the service is somehow more impressive! It's a must have for any friends or family who come to visit. Couldn't recommend it anymore!

Our first order with them and our food was over an hour late, we gave them the benefit of the doubt as we ordered through deliveroo and the food was amazing. The second time we picked it up and they gave us £10 to say sorry for the delay the first time. The food is exceptional and the portions are massive, definitely one of the best Thai takeaways I’ve had.

Probably our most regular takeaway over the last couple of years. Banging flavours, huge portions and friendly staff. Good knowledge of what is/isn’t vegan which is always nice. If you’re looking for a Thai in Poole/Parkstone then you can’t miss this place. Thai Green/Penang curries and a pad prik kang stir fry are my top 3 and I think I’ve tried the whole menu 😂

I am sorry to say that I found the pad Thai pretty tasteless and bland and the prawn green chicken curry was lacking in any ingredients other than the sauce!

This is where you can get some really scrummy Thai food. Their food is freshly prepared and tastes amazing. Try their fried rice with the curry/stir fry of your choice. Our favourites are the Jungle Curry, deliciously fragrant and spicy and the Gra Pao Stir Fry. The Gra Pao is a delicious stir fry featuring garlic and Thai basil alongside the chilli heat. Give them a go. You won't regret it.

First time of using and we were very impressed. Order was ready for collection bang on time, friendly service, spotlessly clean inside, and the food absolutely delicious and well packaged. We had the slow cooked pork ribs and fish cake for starters, followed by chicken cashew stir fry and sweet and sour chicken stir fry. Everything was perfect, will definitely be back.

Great food and great portion. I ordered a chicken satay (4 skewers), green curry chicken and coconut rice for around £18. The rice and curry was a lot so saved half for tomorrow. I’ll try to visit each week when I’m in Poole.

Normally amazing and quick first time ever had a problem! Been waiting for a delivery over an hour and can’t even call because they are closed so it goes straight to voicemail

We are regularly customers of Pinto Thong after trialling lots of Thai restaurants in and around Poole. The food is always incredible and authentic. I am often craving the beef salad and it never disappoints! Great food and great value for money. Nusara whosara! 😉🤷‍♀️

Ordered a takeaway, WOW! Never had such an amazing Thai! Aĺl food was fresh and so tasty! All still hot and cooked to perfection. Honestly we get a lot of takeaways and this was the best!

Tried for the 1st time tonight, we had chicken cachew, pad king and pad cha sea bass, arrived on time and was nice and hot. Authentic and tasty, everyone enjoyed. Will ordered again!

I ordered through the website, the delivery was on time and the food was hot when it arrived! The food itself was very tasty, good price for both food and delivery. I had some “ requests “ that I asked for when I ordered my food and the restaurant honored my wishes. Very impressive!

I ordered Pad Thai last night and it was incredibly flavorsome though we are informed in advance that the food might be an hour late due to valentine’s day. I really appreciate the way staff being so nice and kind. He also gave us a discount for the apology. Will order next time for sure!

Same as others. Waited almost 2 hours for deliveroo delivery. Says they deliver themselves. They don't answer the phone then rang and said I had to collect. Spoilt our evening as so late and feel like I wasted £40. Food wasn't great either. Won't go back.

I ordered delivery via uber, being told the restaurant delivers on their own. I presume this saves them money rather than relying on uber. They accept my order, 90 minutes later I’m waiting on the food, the restaurant doesn’t answer their phone so I leave a message. Ten minutes later they call me back saying sorry we don’t have a delivery driver, can you pick up? I was told this about 100 minutes after I had ordered, hungry and angry at this point. The restaurant should not have accepted the order and I should have been notified of this much sooner, not almost two hours later! And only notified after calling numerous times and requesting a callback. This shows an utter lack of care and disrespect towards the customers. I don’t care what your food tastes like, I wont be back.

First time with Pintoh, food was very nice, fresh and flavourful. Only thing that let it down was the delivery time being 1 hour 45 mins when I was told 50 minutes, I got told on the phone driver had issues because it was raining…poor excuse. I will try again, I appreciate things do happen but just be aware of a longer waiting time then originally told on email.

Wow!!! Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Beats all of the Thai food I've eaten where I live, in and around London. Ordered the Massaman but they had ran out (I ordered 5 mins before they closed). They kindly called me and offered a mild Penang curry which was mind-blowingly delicious. By far the best takeaway in the area.

We recently had a takeaway from here and were super impressed with the taste and quality. Some of the food is hot but that's just how it should be 😊 We had the Sharing platter and Moo ping (pork skewers) to start. Both were fantastic. Shared the Tom Yum soup, again, so tasty. The main we went for the Pintoh Pad Cha, a very spicy seafood stir fry, simply incredible! All in all we were very impressed. One of the best in Poole/Bournemouth for sure. We will definitely will be going back to work through the very tasty menu!!

The presentation, quality of produce, flavours and service with a smile is simply the best. We truly love this place and would highly recommend to anyone in Poole / Bournemouth. We took a gamble with Pintoh last night as none of us had heard of it. What a delight - the food was promptly delivered, fresh, fragrant and delicious- very much restaurant quality. Much of it came in eco friendly packaging too. Even the guy who delivered it was very friendly and helpful. Pintoh is definitely going to be my ‘go to ‘ takeaway from now on - would totally recommend it.

Delicious Thai fusion food, Pad Thai, red Thai curry excellent, make sure you add the yummy duck spring rolls, essential side. Such friendly reception service too!

Had a Pintoh Laab Kai, the most authentic taste took me back to Thailand, I could almost hear the mopeds. Delivery was fast portions were generous and beautifully presented. Will definitely be ordering again

I'm a big fan of Thai food and it has been almost a year I often eat their food. The menu is extensive with vast contemporary Thai cuisine dishes, and flavorful nuances. I feel the authentic Thai taste in all dishes and reminds me my trip to Thailand everytime I eat it. So far I love all the dishes as it has a unique taste and I highly recommend everyone to try.

Tried this for the first time this evening, I can honestly say the food was absolutely beautiful! One of the best Thai restaurants around for sure.

Really nice food, and as veggies we were really happy to see a tofu option on the curries as many Thai places don't offer this. Arrived really hot and portion sizes were great. Loved the 'curry box' options. Only thing i think would improve the service is a bit more description on the website menu and maybe a chilli rating to show heat of dishes.
