If I could give this place 0 stars I would, i'm not sure how they are open or allowed to operate but PLEASE PLEASE do not go there unless you want to be served unhygienic food, overcharged for items you didnt order then threatened and intimidated when brought up.

Horrible food, worse staff, hygiene is at a very low level & a night to forget. This place needs to be LEFT ALONE!!!!

Never, ever eat, drink or even enter this place...it’s absolutely disgusting. The standard of hygiene, forget. Our forks were filthy. As for the the toilets I couldn’t believe it, looked like hadn’t been cleaned in months. Don’t waste your good money on rubbish

Appalling service, security may as well have had my 3 year old watching the door. Friend hired the place and they failed to keep everyone safe after letting trouble makers in. Strongly recommend you don’t waste your time at this establishment.

What an awful experience. Steer well clear of this place. Food came out late was over seasoned and pizza came out cold in the middle. And staff were extremely rude when this was mentioned Totally ruined a rare night out will not be going back and recommend everyone avoid like the plague

Wow what can I say im a 73 year old man and never in my whole life have I been somewhere I dislike as much as this place my whole familys party was ruined also I was pushed and shoved out the door my coat still in their , STAY AWAY

Terrible place has no respect for bookings of celebrations they take on, fail to control the hired area and accommodate. Absolute shambles of a place. Wouldn't recommend to book for anything!

I honestly don’t know where to start. I don’t recommend this place to anyone especially for private events. My friend hired the place for her birthday and they were letting anyone from the public come in. Low on staff couldn’t get a drink and when I asked why it’s taking so long they were really rude. Food was terrible! It was so bad definitely won’t be returning again.

Popped in for some dinner last week as was going out near by Really wish I kept on driving and never see this place Food had a really funny taste to it like it was cooked in a microwave very Chewy and no taste to it at all. Also very slow service and very rude staff As I walked to the toilet I thought I would try have a little look in the kitchen I couldn’t believe my eyes when I see two cats just sitting about in the kitchen eating peoples left over food Would not recommend I think the food and hygiene police will be there very soon On a better note the pub across the road is great for a drink and food we decided to go there after as we didn’t eat anything in the end because of what we see

Nothing good about it , foods dead , staff are useless, bouncers are useless. Would never step a foot through the door again

Went here for my friends birthday over the weekend I’m not one to write reviews but what happened was so bad I feel I have to, they let random people into the venue towards the end of the night of one which punched my friend and then one of them glassed my other friend the bouncers were no where to be seen, it then escalated they tried locking everyone in and let the people that had done it out! Maybe it was someone they new as the whole thing wasn’t right I wouldn't go back there even if I was paid and I wouldn’t dare book and party here!

Would never go back. Take your money and business elsewhere. We went on Friday night for a friends birthday which she had privately hired. They security let members of the public in which weren't part of the party (even though they had a guest list with all the names on) and they assaulted part of the party for no reason. management and security did nothing.

Was about to book a table of 15 after seeing the posts on facebook everywhere about what they let happen at one of the party's lately I would highly consider using somewhere else if having a party or private event they won't keep it private for you my friend was also attacked in the place and staff tried kicking them out it's very poorly run staff are very rude aswell

Awful place manager was only interested in making money .. had a private event paid over 1k even wrote out a guest list and the bouncer had it in his hand while stood at the main door and still the “locals” were aloud in who thought they were the Turkish maffia and proceeded to glass punch and shout at our party .. one bouncer was really good at handling it however he had no back up at all ! Drinks are very pricey ! Would rather rent out McDonald’s or a stable

Shocking! Only had 2 bar staff on a busy night (a 30th birthday), throughout the night randomers were let in by the bouncers which resulted to them assaulting people at the party for no good reason. The staff and bouncers handled the sitchuation terribly! We are not from this area and will not be returning any time soon will stick to planning party’s round our area from now on. Being a lady who is pregnant at a private party should feel safe and that is not how I felt last night at all because of Belgra. Thank you for one of the worst nights ever!

Terrible place, my freind had a 30th birthday in there last night hiring out the entire venue, only for the venue to let other people in who caused trouble ultimately ruining hers and everyone else’s night. Would only recommend to the old bill to shut them down !

Hosted my 30th birthday party which started off private until they decided to let the public in. Two men started on my friends, who were glassed and attacked. The security didn’t help us at all, only 2 bar staff working which made it very hard to get a drink and the owner has taken my deposit and was so rude to me. No consideration for the fact it was my birthday or that my party got ruined. Better venues closer to home and I will not be returning!

Absolutely awful and couldn't advise people not to go here anymore if I tried, at a private function that was paid for to be private but yet this means nothing to the staff and they still aloud members of the public in that made a 30th function into a mass brawl. People attacking us for no reason and being glassed and no one from beluga Surrey staff where seen to be helping the situation or even stop this from happening by not allowing the people in in the first place. Simply disgraceful and should be shut down for the actions they aloud happen last night!!!!

Absolutely awfull we rented it for a private party and they allowed random people to enter one of which punched And then glassed another of our friends I was then also bottled by their girlfirend , they have also kept my best friends deposit and told her it was her fault awful awful place , also drinks watered down and terrible service to top it off , didn’t stop me and my friends though we have a good night no matter where we go thanks for nothing beluga 🤣

Booked a table and got a confirmation email, only to get there and find the restaurant was not actually open due to refurbishment. No contact was made from the restaurant to advise this. When we rang the restaurant to query why we received confirmation of the booking if the restaurant wasn’t open, they were not apologetic in the slightest. They advised they sent a booking cancellation- funny as it was not received. What a shambolic first impression.

Nice ambience. Staff were friendly. Drinks decent. The food was very mixed. The squid was ok. The sushi however was TERRIBLE - probably the worst I’ve ever had. £32 for a ‘variety’ of sashimi, maki, nigiri. 1) no sashimi on plate (I complained and they brought out 4 FROZEN salmon slices) 2) 90% was salmon (variety?) 3) the cheapest possible offering - see photo. Chef clearly doesn’t understand what serving quality sushi is - I’ve had better from a supermarket at a fraction of the cost. £32 is a joke. Go to Kawamura up the road for some super sushi at a fraction of the price or Ivy Asia Guildford if you want to see how to run a proper restaurant of this type. Real shame as I wanted to like it - it is local to me and strongly believe in supporting local businesses. Go for a drink and the ambience but don’t order the awful sushi until they sort this out. Invest in staff….not just the decor.

Would give 0 stars if I could , absolutely awful. Waited far too long for food , completely empty with no ambience , when food came it was not what was described on the menu. After issues with our bill we were told to f off by the rude owner. Don’t waste your time or money

Horrible, vile food. Manager has failed to tell us before arriving that they had 1 chef and a private party arriving. Only important thing was the party and not us, food arrived late and at different times, starters never arrived, microwaved food, dry rice, heavily battered squid which was inedible and had grease pouring out. Honestly was the most horrendous experience ever. Felt awful for my friend who's birthday it was. I would not step foot or recommend this place to anyone.

Weird place. Seems like a vanity project by the owner. Not fitting with Leatherhead, which is a quiet family town. Looks cheap and uninviting from the outside. Will never go there unless I need to post a letter (there is a post office at the back)

Dreadful. Eye sore. Why put a pub in a quiet town with rubbish for music? Not to mention the very DISGUSTING dress code?? Women must wear a dress? I wasn't aware this was the 1920s. Close the place down because it's 0 stars from me.

The luxurious of the place and the professional bar man , really impressed with their design, drink were quality. Would definitely recommend 👏

Dreadful! We ordered starters and mains and the food turned up together as “chef said it was easier”. Chicken teriyaki stone cold and tasteless - rice was like uncle Ben’s packet rice. Manager said he had a big party that night so didn’t want to serve food - so why serve it and try to take peoples money for it?! Refused to pay and we were offered free drinks but not allowed them to be served to the table - I’m sorry but we booked to eat so why can’t we have our drinks at our table then?! Bloke barged in women’s toilet as apparently lost - weird. Got a step ladder out next to us while we were eating to fix a light - weird. We were then turfed out as the party was “private” (you could buy tickets on Instagram!!) I noticed they’ve stopped comments on their page probably as it is the worst Saturday night I’ve had in years. Shame as it’s a lovely space but vile food and wrong attitude. Won’t set foot in there again

We went with an open mind as really not sure what to expect. We had a fabulous evening. The sushi was fine. Not our favourite food but it was very good. Drinks great and very reasonable. Service excellent. The music started towards midnight and the place came alive. It was fantastic. We had the best time. Highly recommend

Dreadful. They should be ashamed at the quality of food they serve for the prices they charge. Unreal. Hoping they close this stain of a restaurant soon.

Firstly we were initially told only table available was 6:30pm, it was empty from the time we arrived until 9:30pm, so clearly that was a lie. The service was adequate, not quick at all despite there being no one in the place. Food was very sparse and not worth the money, better off going to Waitrose down the road and getting it yourself. One of our party had to return her food as it was undercooked and then following day everyone had stomach bugs.

This place really is an excellent addition to Leatherhead. Great service, excellent sushi and reasonable prices. The ambience is great and the staff are friendly. I would recommend to everyone!

We definitely recommend this place! The food is great and tasty. No too pricey, as I thought it would be. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. The cocktails are really good -premium and the price is about 13£/ cocktail. I liked the music and the ambiance… feels really cosy. For sure we will return 🥂🍸

Had an amazing evening with great food, and gorgeous cocktails from Gab. Young Daisie blessed us with fabulous service, and will definitely return soon.
