My fiancée and I were celebrating our engagement and the restaurant took care of every single detail! Food was particularly amazing and we enjoyed very good wine!

We always have a fantastic meal here, myself and my wife's favorite restaurant in Canterbury. By far the best Italian restaurant in Kent.

First time at Pinocchio's and we were impressed with the whole experience. It is a nice cosy space and we were served promptly, the food was delicious. The pistachio Cheesecake on the specials was incredible! There was no rush and we had plenty of time to talk,eat and relax. Will be coming back.

This little Italian restaurant in Canterbury is one of my favorites. Food was amazing, and service was good as well. The place is small, but it's homie. This is my fourth visit here in four months

From when we walked in until we walked out, the service was excellent. The food was served quickly and was delicious, and the wait staff were brilliant and attentive without being too much. All this and a free drink with out dessert to wish us a happy anniversary. Will definitely be back for more. Thank you.

The only thing is that they cut the ribeye steak and some customers can't see the whole steak but apart from that beautiful restaurant

The food was very nice, when it arrived, which was over an hour after we arrived. There wasn't a lot of it though. The restaurant itself was nice and the staff were pleasant in general but my friend asked for some extra gravy and was given a speech about how much trouble it would be for the chef to do this and that it would be "a waste of the chef's time".

The pheasant is delicious and so is the atmosphere I recommend

Second visit to this fantastic restaurant and it didn’t disappoint! Airy and aromatic with good service and large variety of food and drink. Noisy at times due to wooden floors( and a very large noisy table) but everything else great ! Will definitely return !

The fact the place is busy even midweek says a lot. Good food and service meant we've been back and will be again.

Just returned from a meal with a friend. She had the steak Diane and I had pasta. Both generous portions and tasty. Nice pinot grigio too. Not cheap..£9 for a large glass of wine and nearly £14 for a plate of pasta.....do we blame the Russians? Who knows. Anyway a nice treat with good service.

Nice restaurant, quite clinical looking inside. Superb service, it was pretty full and we still received our food very quickly. Food was delicious. Good variety on menu. Will be back!

Beautiful food and excellent service

What is going on here? I have raved on about this place for so long and brought friends here and it has failed to disappoint. However what has been going on as there seems to be a ' can't be bothered' attitude going on . Ok I know we can all have a good time and one bad night should not warrant a bad review, but in my defence I've given them 3 more visits since my first bad experience and last night was My LAST night I will go there. Embarrassing enough they sent wrong drinks over from the bar, starters where fantastic( credit where its due) however they cleared the table brought out our mains, my wife's trio of Monkfish ooked like it was a school dinner and just dumped on the plate and the filling Rosini I had, had as much glare as a dead belly dancer. However they both tasted delightful. Although we sat there ages with them going cold as we had no cutlery. After visiting tge bar some was brought. The bottle of fizz we ordered was still in the bucket unopened, so when we went to the bar for coffee I raised the issues with your man. But nothing no apology no have the coffee on the house just scuttled away and paid my bill and left. I would love to see some vast improvement before I set foot in here again and hopefully they sort themselves out. Quickley

I cannot speak to the quality of service; however, I worked here shortly as a kitchen porter before soon realising the pay was simply inadequate. I explained to my boss (the head chef) that I was quitting and explained why. He then got very vulgar and said things like "you're s**t at it anyway" "you're useless". The food is probably good though.

Chicken meal was average, bit tasteless.

Nice environment and the pasta was good. Wasn't a fan of the house red, but house wine is always hit or miss. Had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert, not the best, I would try something different next time. The 3-course special was a good deal, would try that again.

So we went to pinocchios, after a few people had said the staff are rude and unattentive, nothing could be father from the truth, everyone was extremely attentive, my husband and I was more than happy with the service we received the food was delicious and ample portions,we will definitely be going back.... A wonderful start to our holiday..

Food was ok the service however was pretty dire . We ordered & got our food but then was still waiting on the chips for 15 more minutes after the waiter said “THERE COMING”. All staff stand around and watch you eat wouldn’t go again .

This restaurant is always a great place to go.....lovely ambience and food is lovely. I have given 4 stars instead of 5 because I felt that they need to update their menu with Vegan symbols next to relevant items instead of just Vegetarian. 10 years ago I would not have expected to see the Vegan symbol in any restaurant but now so many restaurants and take away menus have clearly identified Vegan food so I feel that a restaurant like Pinocchios should have updated their menus by now.

I loved it. We ordered their mushroom risotto and vegan pizza to share. Both were delicious. It is one of the Canterbury restaurants that later closes the kitchen. Friendly and very fast service. Good value for money. Less than £20 with a beer included.

Have dined here for many years and always been satisfied with the prices and quality and quantity of food until now. My Fegatini starter was about half the amount from maybe a couple of months ago. The main course again was a smaller portion. The chocolate fudge cake portion was approx. a barely half inch thick slice which had been microwaved too long. A complaint was met with barely an apology. I know times are difficult and prices have to increase but to reduce the portion sizes at the same time is uncalled for. As a result I won't be returning soon. Don't take your customers for granted or like me you might not see them again for a while or possibly never.

The venue and staff were lovely. The food wasn't nearly as good as previous although the pudding was excellent

Back to visit after many years and sure to return again soon! Attentive and friendly staff who made no fuss and were helpful with a customer with mobility issues. Food very tasty 😋 , great mid week menu. Thanks all for a lovely evening 😊

Visited Pinocchios for the first time in some 20 years. Turned up very early and was warmly welcomed. Very impressed with the staff and my meal. Chose an expensive wine which was properly decanted. Had a very enjoyable evening and would strongly recommend a visit if you are in the area

Went with a group of friends for a special birthday. Really good meal and special time's that will be cherished for years to come.☺️

We have always enjoyed visiting Pinocchio's and went in for a midweek treat. The restaurant was busy and the food was as good as ever, all the staff are very friendly and there is a welcoming atmosphere. Well done to all the team.

Food was amazing as always. Very busy Friday night but oh so noisy we couldn't hear the person next to us speaking.

Got to say that this is my 3rd time here. Got to say I won't be going back. Food tonight was very poor.ive had a lot lot better. For alot less money. Three times they had to bring my sweet as they kept getting it wrong. So sorry to say this .

Couldn’t fault the food at all. They was the best wings I’ve ever had, bursting with flavour and just a delight to eat. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming upon arrival and always made sure you was happy throughout your time dining with them. Relatively expensive but worth every single penny. It’s our go to favourite restaurant. Overall 10/10

Been before and the food was nice, and good range of vegetarian options. This time was a massive let down and only 2 vegetarian options beyond pizza - vegetarian lasagne and spinach & ricotta pasta. Options I was used to having to choose from in restaurants in the 80s, not in 2022. Food came extremely quickly, was really bland and unevenly heated. Cheese on the pizza was congealed but base was burnt. I really don't appreciate being served pub chain level reheated food at freshly cooked restaurant prices. Will not be returning again.

Went for the first time this weekend. Nice restaurant with a good atmosphere. Staff where friendly and helpful and the service was generally good though we were seated at an unprepared table initially. The food was very good, my only criticism would be the salad garnish could have done with some dressing, but may be I'm being a bit picky. On the whole a very good experience. Will definitely return.

It's ok the welcome could be warmer and there was a sense of hurry up and finish so didn't dine comfortably

Went on a Sunday afternoon with my son and girlfriend. The welcome and the service were not as warm and professional as usual. I had the goat's cheese starter which just wasn't cooked enough. The ravioli pasta was overcooked and just fell to bits off the fork. The garlic bread with tomato was amazing as always. I'll put this experience down as them just having an off day because it is my favourite Italian restaurant

Quick and efficient service! We had more people than at first thought and staff quickly added another table. I would say the food is overpriced. Smaller portions than other places, so not as good value.

Family meal excellent food, great service

Not a vegan option noted on the menu but they were really accommodating in suggesting some things that could be adapted. Really simple options, soup or salad, & vegetable pasta or pizza with no cheese. It'd only take a little effort to purchase some vegan butter cheese & milk/cream and so much of the menu could be marked V & VE. It's 2022, I've not been somewhere with no vegan options for a long time, that said staff were lovely & I enjoyed the food they made.

Warm welcome and friendly staff, who were attentive but not intrusive. Wide choice of dishes on the lunchtime menu and we enjoyed our pasta. Lovely crème brûlée and tiramisu for dessert then coffee. We didn’t feel hurried at all.

Came to celebrate a graduation but the drinks prices left a bad taste My daughter ordered two pink gins and lemonade through the meal --- I was astonished to be charged £28 - i could have bought two bottles of the stuff in my local supermarket. Probably wont be returning unless we are doing dry January Even Pinocchio couldn't lie about this one -- be reasonable on your drinks pricing!

Absolute garbage. I would avoid completely and save your money and get a pizza from Asda which would be a hundred times better. Starters of asparagus, antipasti were both watery and bland with fatty inedible balls of prosciutto. Tomato garlic bread came out with starters despite asking for it to come with mains and was sent back. Carbonara main was burnt, cream had split into a greasy pool under the spaghetti, lasagne had one sheet of pasta and was mainly bland bechamel, cannelloni also bland and had what looked and tasted like corned beef stuffed inside. Tomato garlic bread reappeared and was stone cold as if left on the side in the kitchen. Apart from my son’s crab ravioli the three main dishes were sent back untouched and we chose three pizzas. When they arrived they looked like the toppings had been thrown on without any care, watery bland, colourless toppings and hard crust which was tough to cut through. Pizzas went back hardly touched. Very disappointing food and service, I have eaten here before and had been impressed previously however will not be returning and would say avoid.

First time going here and it was AMAZING! The staff were lovely and very attentive, the food was really nice. I had the tempura battered king prawns for starters. Then the pheasant for mains and tiramasu for dessert- all were fabulous! Cant wait to return x

Having been in the catering business for a number of years and my husband starting his career at the Midland hotel. I feel that our review will be honest and fair. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, the food was exceptional both in presentation and flavour. Would we visit here again? Most definitely I have already booked for Mother’s Day and looking forward to our visit.

Visited Christmas Eve for daughter’s birthday. As expected it was really busy but service was nevertheless speedy. Fantastic choice on menu. Generally we were all happy with the standard of food with exception of wife’s pizza. Unfortunately she didn’t say anything until we arrived home. We all had a great experience though and would be happy to return
