Pinky Promise in Aberdeenshire

The place is nicely situated in the middle of the town. Went here for breakfast and while the service was really nice and friendly, the quality of the breakfast was a let down. The sausages and beans were from a very cheap range. It would have been better to see locally sourced ingredients used (there is a very good butchers in Stonehaven, so no excuse). I realise this may push the prices up, but it would make for a better experience and it would be good to see local businesses supporting each other. On a positive, the coffee was really good.

We popped in on a sunday for a quick lunch, great food, nice staff and friendly atmosphere. Will be back... ..............

What an amazing find. We went here for Brunch, lunch, dinner and just for drinks. A wonderful family business with OUTSTANDING SERVICE. The food is absolutely delicious and plenty. The milkshakes are heavenly. I can’t recommend this place enough - looking like it should be a nail bar with PINK everywhere - with the most burly (but kindest) of men behind the counter. Never judge a book by it cover. THIS IS A PLACE FULL OF HEART.

My friend and I were on holiday in Edzell and visiting Stonehaven. Pinky promise looked lovely so we thought we'd try it! We are so glad we did! A lovely welcome and fabulous food in great portions. Wonderful ambiance, service ans food! Doesn't get any better than that!! 🤗 🫶

Whilst on holiday we visited Stonehaven and luckily found this amazing place. A warm welcome was given and tables rearranged for the 6 of us. Excellent choice of food and lovely, bright & comfortable surroundings. The food was excellent we tried toastie, wrap, cheese scone, panini and chocolate brownie. Everything was fantastic. Such a shame we don’t live closer as we would definitely come here a lot! The staff here are excellent and definitely make the visit worthwhile. Highly recommend anyone in the area to visit.

The nachos were hot and fresh and wonderful. We couldn’t stop eating the generous portion of tuna salad. The owners were friendly with a smile too. The decor was bright, upbeat and welcoming. We highly recommend this establishment. I wish I could give it six stars

Visited this lovely cafe yesterday with a friend. We both had the scone with jam/cream and it was delicious. Looking around we saw an array of food ordered by other customers which looked very appetising and we were sorry we'd had a breakfast not long before visiting. The staff were friendly and we didn't wait long to be seated or served. We don't live in the area unfortunately but will certainly visit when next in the area. Both the cafe and toilet facilities were spotless.

Fantastic drop in for tea,coffee and scones,service was great and the scones were delicious and to top it all very comfortable seats,not the standard hard seating you usually get,definately recomend.

First time here and can't fault it. Attentive service, and good food. Plenty of staff on as well and clean. Would recommend.

Popped into this lovely little place after walking. It was just for coffee and cake but the presentation was lovely, staff friendly and welcoming. Good coffee and didn't just get a slice of cake.....fresh cream and fruit came with it. Tasted delicious and made all the difference. Try it out if you're in the area.

The new owners at Pinky Promise have worked really hard to make this place excellent! The menu is really varied and plentiful, great for vegetarians so a good number of choices! The food is always quickly served and the portion sizes generous. I love the fact I can bring my little dog in for a sausage and the fact that the seating is comfortable (which is often not the case in most cafes!). I often buy vouchers for friends/family and they have a year on them so well worth shopping and supporting local if looking for something a little different. Well done to the team!

Great little spot conveniently located in the square. Service was first class, ambience was great and the food was prompt and delicious.

Lovely cafe, milkshakes to die for, food excellent, had turkish meze, authentic and reasonable. As a treat it was spot on. Staff were lovley, service was good. very clean with great decor, and toilets spotless. Will return

Friendly, welcoming and cosy coffee shop. Dog friendly too for dog owners. Enjoyed our hot drinks. Good hot drinks prices too. Some of the food prices looked very over priced on the menu but maybe the food quality is good. Nice to see a busy cafe even just before closing time. Clean as well despite poor cleaning reviews from 2023, they must have upped their cleaning standards. Miles better than the other coffee shop on the same street the Waterfront. Staff there rude , unfriendly and atmosphere is dead there with no customers at all at the same time we went to this cafe. Not surprising. Will come back here again someday, when in Stonehaven again.

Super place 🤩 We had a lovely lunch of panini,s served with tortilla crisps and side salad , latte coffee and green tea, all nice an hot & served quickly Staff were really nice and shop was lovely and clean.
