Pine Marten in East Lothian

Came in for some dinner after work staying in the hotel and had the fish and it was delicious will definitely be returning

We walked up the pathway to the place and it looked nice. Once we got in we were greeted very politely and were sifted down and served drinks very quickly which was nice. For food we ordered 3 bacon and cheese burgers which tasted amazing. Would 100percent recommend.

Came in with a few friends busy Friday night but was attended very well by cammy, chicken tikka was lovely and will definitely be coming back

Great food and nice range of beers on tap. I’m a fussy person when it comes to chips, and they make them really well here. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Steak and Ale Pie, mash and vegetables. Delicious meal and staff were all very good and helpful especially Hannah R. Well stocked bar and good atmosphere. Rooms are extremely clean and so are the bathrooms. I think the rooms could do with a revamp with more relaxing colours. Our room was an accessible room which was spacious with a well planned bathroom. We will certainly book here again as easy access to Gullane and Edinburgh .

Had Steak & Ale Pie which was delicious, partner had sausages and mash! Waitress Ynyra was helpful and made sure we were happy 👍🏻

Had Sunday roast beef was bit too difficult to cut and chew husband couldn’t eat it I mentioned to server they said sorry. Restaurant was bit noisy could hear people in other far corners loud conversations. Bouncing castle outside was going down well with kids.

We were staying in the pub next door to the pine Martin and had two great breakfasts. Great welcome and special thanks to Becca for looking after us.

This place is fast becoming The place to visit in dunbar Whether for a drink or a meal the staff are always very pleasant and can not do enough to make your visit Enjoyable We visited here recently and had haddock and chips the fish was fresh and cooked To perfection light golden batter and no grease again chips likewise we also had lovely fresh buttered bread All in all first class We will be back

1 of the best burgers I have ever had. Dan took our orders and made sure we had everything. He was very pleasant and professional. I have told everyone how good the food and experiences was.

Booked a table beforehand and turned up early. Not an issue and was seated. Had a lovely meal, as always. Service was really fast and Aimee was very attentive.

Came for mothers day meal. The food was a vast improvement from previous visits. The staff are so lovely. I really want this place to be consistent in serving good food, it's a great establishment. The roast Turkey dinner was great, it was missing the stuffing that was on the menu. But really tasty. The prawn cocktail was scrummy. Something more than lettuce is needed tho, a bit of chopped cucumber maybe... Anyway we personally enjoyed our food. Will definitely try another Sunday lunch, please keep it good!!!

A nice meal with decent choice of both main and dessert. All at a reasonable price with great service from Becca. We will be back.

We usually come here for lunch but went for dinner with family on this occasion. The 30% discount for grilled dishes on Thursday evenings was a bonus! The steaks were cooked as requested including blue which our daughter-in-law wanted. My mixed grill was a real feast as I usually eat much more modestly. I still managed a sticky toffee pudding! I hadn't previously appreciated what a wide selection of drink they have too.

We dined at the Pine Marten, Dunbar, as we were staying at the adjacent hotel. It exceeded expectation, a relaxed atmosphere...we enjoyed drinks and dinner. Anna was our server and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Would definitely recommend...a bit of a hidden gem in fact!

Not had Sunday lunch here for quite a while and took my 89 year old mother-in-law here as there is disabled parking and access is all on the level. We all had something we enjoyed and, as usual, the staff looked after us well.
