Pine lake Restaurant in Lancaster

A good resort with plenty of activities and good accommodation, atmosphere and professional staff. Good restaurant food and drink, small shop on site selling most essentials. Plenty parking and set in a nice area. Let down by cabins that are a bit run down and appliances that are not maintained to a satisfactory operational standard ie. Dishwasher that did not work properly due to twisted drain hoses and a condenser dryer that required the condenser filter cleaned.

Lovely meal - excellent ribs meat very tender. Cajun Fries excellent - Wine was nice and chilled. Good service.

Fabulous food and great value. I enjoy large portions and this did not disappoint. The food was excellent quality, well cooked and was hot

No complaints about the food and service. Reasonably priced and served in pleasant environment.

Update- February 2025 Never disappoints. Good food at reasonable prices. Drink prices good too Friendly and welcoming staff throughout. Nice relaxing atmosphere

Lovely spacious pleasant restaurant so you do nt feel you re sat on top of each other...we were a party of 10 and no one could fault anything..nice menu choices..all the food came out together..all very tasty and well presented..the staff were curteous and welcoming and the prices were so reasonable we could nt believe how cheap the bill was...all making for a lovely birthday celebration....thank you

Normally don’t do reviews although I must say this restaurant is fantastic, best fish and chips I’ve had. So fresh loved every bit of it.

I had my Surprise Birthday Party, Staff and Food was lovely.

Staffs are not that nice.... Ordered for a cheesy chips along with other items where only normal chips was delivered on table .. Checked with the counter as it didn't came on table as ordered... So they brought another cup of cheese and said we have served your chips now here is cheese.... 🤷🤷 Terrible experience #presentation #hilton

Friendly and attentive staff, not too long to wait from ordering to being served, and the vegetarian option was well received, as were the kids'meals. The fish and chips was a good sized portion but the batter was a bit too oily and not crisp. At those prices the dish has to fit the cost and it didn't.

The receptionist's treatment is very bad and she fights the Arabs and has a very racist attitude

Stopped here for a Sunday roast and chicken parmesan. Food was lovely, staff is nice and definitely worth coming back. Next time maybe even stay in one of the lodges.

The halloumi salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. Lovely tranquil atmosphere, nice music that’s not too loud. The servers were very nice.

Called in when passing had and had a drink, I've passed it 100s of times and never realised there's a public bar, I'll call again

1st time eating here and it was from a recommendation. The waitress who greeted us was pleasant polite and helpful as we had not booked - think her name was Kaitlyn?? We ordered soft drinks and a selection of starters. The food was well presented although I had expected the beef brisket nachos to come all together not separately-also the beef brisket was watery and tasted of tomatoes and didn't have that beefy brisket flavour. The chicken wings were succulent but soggy skin not nice-was hoping they'd be crisper. The veggie Platter was good as was the garlic mushrooms. The ribs were again soggy rather than sticky n crispy yet succulent meat. Overall the food was good. Service was excellent.

It's a lovely place, not sure what needs to be done to create atmosphere. Been there twice and it's dead, people sit around and drink, it's a bit like a social club. Lacks the buzz and entertainment of a good pub. Has all the makings but....

Booked well in advance as we won't entirely sure of numbers, I explained it could be between 15-25 people, they were very helpful and flexible, we ended up being 23 people, we ordered a few days in advance. The staff were very attentive and all the food came out in good time without any hiccups. Food was of a good standard and no complaints from any of us. Would definitely use again, thank you.

Attended at as part of our car club weekend, we were made to feel welcome and the food was awesome, much recommended

We had a great weekend at Pine Lake unfortunately we were shocked when we went in the lakes Bisto and there was a very small sign on the bar stating sorry no food orders as fully booked despite it being really quite. On enquiring we were very casually told by staff that there was a private function on in the other room later that evening so no food was being served. No one mentioned this when we checked in and there was no signage on entry to the bistro so w wasted our time buying a drink a d looking g at the food menu, we were not the only ones who walked out when we found this out! Maybe Pine Lake should advertise the bistro despite being on site is a separate enterprise and food may NOT be available as private functions take presidency over residents! Needless to say we did not go back in the bistro the next night as we were really disappointed as we did not want to risk a repeat and eat elsewhere.....

If you like cheap and cheerful food it's ok. Mixed starters were just cheap frozen food that was deep fried

Good pub grub. Service was a bit slow but very accommodating and child friendly. We will come again.

Always had enjoyable meals here and attended by pleasant staff

I feel I must write a review! The food we have just eaten was truly exceptional. My wife had belly of pork which she told me was genuinely the best she has ever tasted. My steak and ale pie was full of tender steak served with mash and peas perfectly cooked. The meal was hot and served by friendly efficient staff. Finely very good value. 10 out of 10 thank you.

Staff were amazing, so kind and welcoming. They couldn't do enough for us, taking the time to speak to our children was lovely. Unfortunately, I thought the food was very overpriced for what it was, and it was really basic.

Excellent, neat and clean, large seating area, good quality food. Well maintained toilet facilities.
