DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE NOT LOCAL Had my drink snatched from my hand and told I was not welcome, very much a local place or you may be hit in the head. Very scary place, moved here from Lancashire and was trying to make friend.

Double check your bill when you get it. This was my 2nd visit and what a mistake. NEVER AGAIN On 1st visit (in Apr 2023) we were charged for Salad which we never ordered not received but as it was only £3.00 we didn't argue. Last night we got charged for Chicken Tikka, again we hadn't ordered nor received. On Confronting the management (the woman and probably her husband) they were adamant we had ordered it and received it. I asked them to show paper the waitress had written on, her reply "it's some where in bin' I have never come across RUDEST owners like these two.. AVOID BY ALL MEANS. There are other restaurants around who value their customers.

POOR COSTUMER SERVICE x To start with this one star is only for the waiter who was more apologetic than the manager/owner/rude lady at the till donno who she was ! Wanted to visit this place from a while as heard from a friend but it was a total disappointment . Ordered Amritsari fish which was ok ok ! Jumbo tandoori prawns wer bland no taste then we complained but they dint do anything. The lady at the counter didn’t even made an effort to check on what the customer is complaining about , least bothered . Then she had the audacity to charge us for the prawns £14.50 for 5 pieces .There business pricing terms and conditions are out of this world! This was hilarious when i read that..They charge 25£ if someone drinks n vomits and they also charge you for the takeaway containers !!!!!!! Thats stupid xx DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE !!!!!!!!! Minus zero for that rude lady (learn some customer service)

Went to this restaurant and the weekend met up with a very good friend before a concert at the Beck theatre. We asked for a Diet Coke bottle from a young girl, 15 minutes later I asked the the owner where is our coke bottle she said I don’t think we got Diet Coke we have got coke zero cans or a normal coke bottle so we said that’s fine. We asked for popadoms to start and kebab rolls for a after course they came together. After a longggggg wait. We had to ask for a jug of water 3 times and serviettes twice. The owner was miserable and not inviting at all.

So we arrived after calling in prior as usually we get refused a seat even if it’s empty for some reason they want to be called before. Arrived and sat down was ignored for 20 minutes eventually got given menu and a bottle of warm coke. One problem no cups waited for a waiter all of them ignored us so we took the cups off the others tables, we eventually ordered after another 15 min wait, other customers were also getting frustrated too. We asked for poppadums as we waited nothing came , all of a sudden the mains starters and popadums arrived in one go leaving us confused on where to start , food was terrible over salted lamb which was disgusting naan was stale chicken seemed mircowaved and to top it off the kebabs were cold and almost raw. It was a struggle to get the bill and they demanded cash only with the age old card machine does not work excuse eventually the machine worked when a colleague of mine said he will put a review online we wasn’t even shown a bill just a price disgusting place , not to mention the smell of damp drain pipes through the shop place is a hangout for alcoholics with pathetic food

We went to eat and we’re told to wait 45 mins which became an hour. As we walked in the persumed owner who was clearly drunk shouted at us as we didn’t close the front door and said I don’t know where these type of people turn up from !! So we turned a blind eye the table was rocking so used a tissue to fix that waiters didn’t bother. Didn’t even get asked for what we wanted for 25 mins and when the food came the chicken tandoori was uncooked the drunk owner refused to take to back long story short he charged us for the raw food and then demanded we pay £10 extra salad !!! Which we never ate and never asked for but he said it was a standard charge . We refused to pay upon which he got very angry and began arguing With staff and throwing plates around while swearing at other customers we decided we would pay for what we deemed okay which came to £26 but he demanded £43 which included £10 for a salad we still refused and walked off he then tried to lock us in we had to call the police to sort it out NEVER ever go there

Well, I’ll start of with something positive. The smell of the food is amazing. Unfortunately, that is the only positive thing I have to say about this place. My sister ordered a paneer tikka roll, the paneer was not cooked properly, still a tad raw - chewy and not a pleasant chewy. She was really disappointed, as anyone would be paying £5.50. Although, the size of the tikka roll was great, and value for money is there - ONLY IN SIZE. Moreover, my dad ordered a chicken dish, he complained ( rightfully so) that the chicken dish was, well to put it simply, a mess. Coming from an Indian background we can tell when something isn’t cooked right, and the curry was a complete let down. The Butter Naan is great though. Although we have had good experiences with this place in the past, it seems to be going downhill. Would I say completely avoid this place? No. There are some good things on the menu. But when you are paying for something you expect what you pay for, this was a waste of money and time. Sad.

I have just witnessed a lady behave aggressively towards her two children, sanctioned by the staff. She arrived with her friend and the kids. They were playing pool in the back but she was so loud she drew our attention. It was disturbing. At one point she dug her nails into the boys head and dragged him to a chair in the corner. Several times she put her face up close to her kids and swore at the top of her voice. We complained to staff who advised that the lady was a friend of the owner so could not be asked to leave. Then the staff member went and told the aggressive lady what had been said about her. This led to the lady making a phone call to someone which involved shouting and swearing and descriptions of violence towards the people who complained. At this point we left. Poor kids.

All VEG People DONT RISK this place AT ALL!!! Not even 1 star worth it. We are Pure Veg and my kid has Allergy to Chicken. They gave Chicken tikka masala for take way when clearly I had ordered Paneer Tikka. And at collection i even asked the Person at Desk "it is Paneer right not chicken?" He Confidently replied "Yes It is Paneer Tikka" When returned home 3 miles away as Wife had Monday fasting and kids were hungry. We started having it. Its only when we had small piece in mouth "thinking its paneer" we realised it tasted odd and when we cut the piece we found out it's chicken. When I called restaurant the same guy confirm after speaking with Chef that they gave me Chicken Tikka masala. All he said "Sorry!" Thats all! Then he said "Oh you live far for me to deliver as well". Shocking behaviour. Not even mentioned about refund. I am now more concern about my daughter's health as she ate chicken when she has allergies to it. On top my religious belief insulted as we never bring Non-Veg at home neither we eat. Staff came to deliver at home he confirmed he informed his boss about this error and he initially didnt allow him to come to deliver then he allowed but his boss/owner hasnt got courtesy to call me and apologies or consideration of refund which wouldnt rectify this blunder.

I recommend the butter chicken but everything is great whatever you order. I was shocked at the service we received as there only another table occupied. The padrichaat was basicThought punjabi restaurant decided to order maki ki roti and saag, big mistake the maki ki rotis are not fresh and reheated, tasteless and the all around hard, when I told the waiter he said he will ask the chef and never came back with an answer. We also ordered paneer bhurjee, once again tasteless, however the garlic naan was good. We asked for rasmali, tea and hot water. It took three attempts just to get hot water in 25 mins when we decided to get and leave as the desert and tea had not arrived. The waiters leave the dirty starter plates on the table when serving the mains. Never brought the raita which we ordered. This was the best bit, we asked for the two left over dishes to be packed, the waiter brought two tin foil tubs to the table and gave us a carrier bag to put them in. When I went to pay I noticed that they had charged me £1.00 for each foil tub. At no point we were told that there will be a charge for this. Awful, disappointed. Give this a miss.

If your focus is on food - then this is the place to be. Awesome punjabi food is what this place is all about. This is not a "posh" or "fusion" place - and with that kind of fresh taste, it doesnt need to be. The decor is unpretentious, prices are reasonable and to top it all - you can bring your own booze. Noisy - but that adds to the fun and character of this place. Only downside is the location - Hayes is not exactly the best locality in London, but the food makes the trip worthwhile.

The aloo tikki wasn’t great and the aloo parathas looked like they had done 3 rounds with Mike Tyson. Overall, not worth the money. Also when I asked about the 10% discount as per their website, was told by the auntie on the till that’s not available anymore. Update the website then! They don’t offer delivery either. Also had chilly mogo which was mediocre but very hot. Main dishes lamb curries and naans were good. The decor makes this place, the women's toilets are where they house the mops too! And they didn't lock, when I approached a waiter to tell him lock is broken he asked an Aunty (older lady) to stand watch so I could use the toilet. My wife and I have been to this restaurant on quite a few occasions but had taken it off our list of regular haunts because of suffering from the runs twice from the food served here. However friends of ours got in touch to say that they had booked a table for twelve of us and see you at 7pm.Parking around this area is quite a challenge in itself as this is very busy both commercially and residentially and is on a very busy main road with parking restrictions. We used to quite enjoy the lively atmosphere and the decor of the place and would always look forward to the periodical appearance of several Punjabi dancers dressed in the full regalia of their culture who would then perform their Bhangra dances to very loud and stirring Indian music. Sadly this is no more and is a thing of the past and this lovely little bit of entertainment has given way to an extra row of tables in order to increase profits.I was also sad to see just how run down the place seemed to be from our last visit some 2 years previous. The staff were no longer in uniform and the owners (a husband and wife team) were dressed as if they had just claimed down from a dusty loft sorting old junk out. No pride shown in their personal appearances. This is a very popular eatery for the local Asian community so you should expect the quality and taste to be tip top and to be honest the food is very tasty, however portions are very stingy and if you have a very healthy appetite then you will need to order extra as all the dishes where only what I could class as child size. However, I must admit that the food was mouth watering and could not be faulted. The staff and owners did their jolly best to rush us thru the meal in order to free up the table for the next lot of spenders, but the devil came out in us so we just dug our heels in and took our time.I personally will never frequent this eatery again, however this is only my choice and if you do decide you wish to try it, here is a couple of tips. Insist on being seated downstairs, the seating upstairs is just like sitting in a transport cafe and has a rather somewhat smelly toilet and storeroom at one end of it.If you like to consume alcohol with your food take your own with you as this is permitted and seems to be quite customary with the majority of those eating there. There is an off licence next door to the Pind Punjab and is very reasonably priced. Finally, if you are in the habit of asking for a doggy bag to take the left overs away with you, take your own container as the cheeky so and so's will charge you £1 per flimsy brittle plastic carton that they use for the left overs, quite sad that they should feel the need to do this after charging over £300 for our meal.

I went to Pind Punjab the yesterday with a few of my mates to get some food, but boy was I disappointed. Staff: The staff was OK they got the drinks out early, food did take a while. However, they seem dirty like they don't wash their hands. Table: On the table they had a Jug of water which was half full meaning they don't refill after every serving, same with the mint sauce which was half empty. The knives and Forks looked like they needed better cleaning as well. Food: Now to the main disappointment, the food. We ordered a mix grill which would normally fill up two people in any Indian restaurant, but not Pind Punjab. The mix grill had hardly anything on it, to make it look like a lot the Just cut the kebab rolls into smaller portions to try and cover the plate. That mix grill was enough for Atleast one person, not even two. The food was called and really bland. I don't know why we got discriminated but we never got any poppadoms, but a guy who came in later got a basket. Like I don't really care but why do some people get it for free and some don't. I didn't want to write this review because normally places like Soho Tavern and Prince of Wales pub, I have no issues with but this places was just appalling. Look at the other reviews if you think I'm harsh they got a lot of negatives too.

Horrible ...Finally Food: food is simple like any other Indian cafe or restaurant. We ordered Chilli Chicken, Tandoori half and Butter Chicken with Nan's. Chilli chicken stood out best. Tandoori is not bad. Butter chicken is the signature dish of pind Punjabi. But butter chicken is not the best like we had before ... Overall the food is okay with shocking habits from staff...

Saturday family take away, looked up website reasonably price - ordered a mix grill and pander tikka over the phone, only to be told that the website is out of date and so were the prices...hmmm? Still went on with the order - came home, whole family waiting to tuck in....to our horror - the portion was ridiculously small....really disappointed....not worth the money...!/

Been here twice with my family. We live near by the restaurant. Pind punjabi is a very old local place to those who loves more takra spicy food. Their meat platter is awesome, must try. Lot of curries and starters option. Owners are very friendly. Live kitchen view with smily chefs can attract anyone passing through. Suman is always nice and attentive. Planning to organise a big party here very soon. Highly recommended!!!!

A frequent visitor of this restaraunt. Food and ambiance is great. However staff are often disengaged and uninterested particular the young man who may be a manager there. Also purchased a £70 meal and only got offered one bag of salad. Food is great service needs some work.

But unfortunately my whole dining experience gets spoilt here because of bad service! I feel the waiters seem disinterested. The ambience is quite good, overall not a very satisfying experience.

Took a colleague here from our India office and he really rated the quality of the food. We've always rated the food but was good to get his seal as well.Starters and mains always come in generous portions. Have learnt to order less and still leave completely full. It's nice to be able to ask them for little touches like to leave the butter off the roti, make sure the Rasmalai was cold and to warm the gulab jamun. Would have given 5* but on too many occasions you have to keep calling staff over rather than them keeping watch on your tablePrices are good. We paid £15 per head for three of us for beers, starters, mains, naans/roti and desertWe'll be back.

I have been frequenting the Pind for over a year now and often return with friends/colleagues. The food on the whole has been amazing, the mains are amongst the best I have had in many a curry house over the years, both in London and Bradford etc.The first visit here I was a little apprehensive, largely due to the decor. (View from outside). All I can say is embrace it, the prices are fair , the staff are always friendly and helpful, I have tried many a dish which I haven't seen in less authentic menus, most of which has been superb. The quality has fluctuated from time to time, was A+ amazing for many visits then seemed to dip in quality some time back. Recent visits reestablished the expected standard and I continue to come back here rather than venturing Further afield when here on business. The mains in my opinion tend to be tastier than the starters (Mixed Grill) but of course these still are good, but the mains are perfection.I only gave 4**** to give balance here. Often attains 5*

Been here a few times. Decor is great, very authentic feel to the place. Food was ok - the meat (chicken dishes are standard). Veg food however is quite good. As most other reviews point out, service isn't the greatest. Many of the waiters can't speak English, when i was ordering i was speaking Punjabi to them, which is fine but sometimes my brain thinks quicker in English. I've been there when it's been busy, and it took forever for food to come out. Would i go there again, probably when it's quiet and for the veg food.

One of our favourite joints. Perfect value for money. Food is authentic punjabi. Go for Sizzlers, chole bhature, chicken curries and our favourite Stuffed paranthas. Lassi they serve is best i had in London. The most attractive deal is the the veg/Non-Veg thali which is fulfilling and cheapest around. Ambience is typically of a punjabi village and is apt. Service is good. Location of the restaurant though is not something you will easily notice, unless you know the restaurant. Recommended for the food and service.

Just went there last night and think these guys have got it spot on. The decor is nicely themed and not tacky, the music was good and the food was very good but ultimately the bill was even better. Just remember you're in a part of hayes that isn't the most scenic area in middlesex so you have to offer something that little bit nicer and a little it better and a little bit cheaper than the surrounding areas. This is exactly what Pind Punjabi do and to see that the majority of the other customers are all really local people that have walked from their houses to eat out makes you know that this place is good. And it was. We had a mixed grill for starters, mains we had 2 dishes plus rice, yoghurt and 4 naans and a few soft drinks, you can take your own alcohol, and the bill came to £45 and it comfortably catered for 4 of us and that £45 INCLUDED A TIP. Will be back soon keep it up

I went here with a friend who regularly visits this place, the food was amazing had real authentic taste. The waiters were helpful and polite and the value was really good, one of the plus points is they let you bring your own alcohol which is fantastic. Sit down eat tasty food and get drunk with your friends, what more do you want. Personally for me the interior decor was a bit too cheesy, but I can see the theme they are going for and it may appeal to some, but who cares about that anyway. I would go here again just for the vegetable manchurian they were amazing, best I have had outside India!

Arrived early at 6.00pm today to a pretty empty restaurant which soon filled up. The decor was authentically hand painted with colourful scenes from the Punjab, with an open kitchen at the front, which is always a good sign. Apart from its unique and colourful ambience, you can bring your own alcohol, which always helps to reduce your bill! Having settled in with a few of our own beers, we ordered starters and then our mains. All of which recommended very well by a young family waiter. Every dish was different and perfectly spiced . Our total bill for 4 for starters & mains was £60! At £15 per head it was a bargain! All in all, great ambience, great food In an environment that takes you to the depths of the Punjab, definitely a hidden gem with a nice family clientele run by a family which hosts you like their own. Definitely worth a visit & will definitely be back.

Visited this place last week having read and heard mixed reviews but thought we would give it a go. Place was suitably busy but fortunately we had booked a table in advance. Question: What Indian restaurant tells customers that they can’t have onion bhaji because the kitchen staff are too busy? Answer: Pind Punjabi. When pointed out to waiter that another group (7 people) had just being seated and why do that if kitchen staff already struggling to provide food to seated customers, an embarrassed giggle and shrug of the shoulder. This place clearly lacks the BASIC understanding of customer service.Question: Which Indian restaurant tells you if you want to speak to the manager, you come downstairs (we were seated upstairs) and see him? Answer: Pind Punjabi. One of our party did go looking for the Manager it was clear that there were a number of disgruntled customers raising their dissatisfaction. To add to insult the adjacent table was served onion bhaji having placed order after us. Again when staff questioned, response was a shrug. It was agreed with the waiter that as onion bhaji couldn’t be provided chicken tikka starter would be given ‘free’ of charge. Starters arrived at different times for the group, the chicken tikka was over cooked and the onion accompany the dish were undercooked.Question: Which Indian restaurant has an employee walk out during service complaining of working 8hrs for £15? Answer: Pind PinjabiDuring our dining there was some commotion where a young waiter was arguing with the manager about the conditions he had worked through the day and walked out. The fact the manager stood and in full show of customers argued his point showed the lack of professionalism this resturant has. It was witnessed several times our own waiter being shouted at in his own language (being indian I understood what was being said).Slow delivery of main meals, quality of dishes were ok however the quality of the chicken dishes was poor this was down to the meat used. When receiving the bill and as expected we had been overcharged and to add to insult £10 service charge (hes service charge!) added to bill. Again we were told to come and see the manager but he refused to speak with us so the bill was paid minus the overcharged item with a fully explanation as to why. The manager was very confrontational (again in full view of remaining customers). To be told that staff had not turned up for work and it wasn’t his fault clearly showed the lack of management skills this place has. The bill was partial paid before we left to the sounds of the manager shouting we were banned! If you’re looking for an authentic indian restaurant with excellent customer service, where customers needs and quality food at put to the fore, stay clear from this place. Pind Punjabi are truly a disgrace to all Indians and the Indian restaurant world.

We were recommended this restaurant by a sikh friend as we wanted to enjoy some traditional pujabi food. There are some negative reviews on here, but ulitmately you get what you pay for. Its a "no frills" family restaurant so you are not going to get "5 star" service that you would get in central london, but its great for home cooked food. So if your looking for great waiters or lovely decor, then this place is not for you. But if you want great punjabi food, then this is the place to be!I must admit, the second time we went as a family, it did get a little rowdy with crowds of people waiting for a table, but the owners did discourage them and sent them away. But the people kept coming, so that should tell you the food is good. The owner and his wife were kind enough to come over to our table on several occasions, each time making sure we were well looked after. All our dishes came on time and were cooked properly and tasted great!Looking forward to the next time!

Only ones in the restaurant, ate our average tasting paneer tikka starter, sat there for another 30 min awaiting our mains but nothing. Not sure what was taking so long? as a loyal customer we assumed they may be making fresh food. Awaited another 15 min, still nothing asked the waiter and was told food should be arriving shortly. Another 5 minutes go by, finally get up and ask the cook what's taking so long? His response, "food is ready and it's sitting in his kitchen"....what??? Why is it sitting in the kitchen and not being served? To which the owner's rude wife responds, "we like to have customers enjoy thier starters" really??? For 45 minutes? And to add to such lame reasoning she says " once you are done with your starters, we wait for you to tell us that you are ready for mains"...is she kidding? What are the waiters for? Shouldn't they be serving he tables and judging when to take te empty plates and bring in the mains? Mind you we only had a ONE starter and no one starter takes 45 minutes to be finished . This is not a family place and is def not a place for those accustomed to fine dining. Food is average, compared to Hayes standard I suppose it's 5 star food and those who actually appreciate thier food must be drunkards on fri/sat nights. Good luck staying in business for another 5 years!
