Called in today for a takeaway pizza ordered a 10inch pizza .. was poor quality very little cheese .. basically a base with tomato and very little topping very little to next to no cheese and only warm £6.99 never again

We came here on a Sunday lunch time without booking and were sat straight away. the head waiter was fantastic with my son and he helped to encourage him to eat up all of his beef dinner - which was lovely! my husband had potato skins and spicy pasta and enjoyed it, I had mushrooms to start which I would highly recommend, then a fillet steak. I asked for it rare... and it was. It was perfect and had been rested well. all in all a very enjoyable visit. We will definitely return.

Pietro’s was recommended by our daughter who has been here several times, so during a family visit it was our first choice for a family dinner. 5 adults and two small children. Very warm welcome on arrival and given a nice table in the middle of the restaurant. We all had different meals and all were really excellent, very generous portion sizes and genuine Italian. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is first class provided by very friendly staff. We all had a great time including the children. Thank you to all the staff. We will go again.

Had a superb new years eve meal at what has rapidly become our favourite restaurant. First class food (fillet rossini to die for) beautifully cooked in a very authentic Italian style delivered with impeccable service and fantastic ambience. Add value for money then you have the perfect dining experience. Thanks to all involved.

Staff are helpful & friendly, the food is lovely. We’ve been a few times now & it’s always been nice.

We were staying locally overnight and in our search for an evening meal, we found this little gem.We arrived about 6pm without a reservation but the staff were very accommodating, polite and helpful and found stable for two. The food was outstanding and my choice's were from the chef’s special’s board. I had foil king prawns in a sweet chilly dip and my main was mussels and shrimp risotto which was absolutly outstanding and the food got my vote (thanks chef).There was plenty of variation on the menu and all staff were prompt and engaging.By the time we left, the place was full and therefore I would suggest reserving a table.We will defiantly use this place again in out next trip

I can not tell you how many times I have drove past this restaurant but have never stopped before, well that was a mistake on my part as I have now been twice in one week the food is unbelievably good and the prices are so reasonable pizza and pasta all good. Give it a go you will not be disappointed.

Been to the restaurant and enjoyed the food however the takeaway was not a good experience, basically the pizza was a garlic bread with a FEW pieces of salami on the top, nothing else - poor and cold to boot.

My partner and I were recommend to visit Pietro a while ago. We eventually got round to going and have been every week since! The food is absolutely beautiful, the staff are very friendly and the value for money is amazing. The setting is very nice, cosy and clean. I would highly recommend l!

I drive past this place most nights and noticed recently the car park seemed to get fuller and fuller recently. I went years ago (can’t even remember what the name was then) and the food wasn’t very memorable. Tonight however, I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was beautiful and the service was great, the waitresses are lovely and it was all round good value. Would definitely recommend

We went along for a last minute family meal, they squeezed us at short notice and we weren't disappointed, lots of choice for both the adults and kids, I would reccommend the Steak Pietro, "it was gorgeous" kids had various pizzas and pastas and they all looked and tasted great. We all had dessert and they were also very good. Big thanks to our waitress Joanna.

Absolutely amazing value for money. Three courses for under £12 and each course was delicious. We had tomato soup that was drizzled with basil oil and served with crunchy bread and butter. Chicken breast, creamy mashed potato and roast potatoes with vegetables and thick sumptuous gravy, accompanied with a huge home cooked Yorkshire pudding. Finished off with a warm chocolate brownie served with cream AND ice cream. Best value Sunday lunch in this area and would highly recommend.

There were six of us for an early evening meal it was quiet. We have been many times before and always had a great meal but I don’t know what happened as our welcome was lukewarm as was the service.Our food was just plonked on the plate no garnish small portions we felt robbed we have supported Pietros from the start through renovations but sadly we won’t be back you need to look after your regulars

This was our third Sunday lunch here, and intended on it becoming our place to go. However, now not so sure.. We had been amazed at the portion size, quality and taste of our food. A big bowl full of really tasty soup, with homemade bread followed by a large plate full to the brim with 5 or 6 vegetables, mash, roasties, Yorkshire pud, and big thick slices of the most delicious, melt in your mouth beef. All piping hot, and cooked perfectly. We were so impressed, as this Sunday lunch was not expensive! Then... Our last visit we received half a bowl of soup and bread (still tasty), followed by a half-full plate which consisted of mash, 2 little bits of roast potato, yorkshire pudding, some thin slices of beef with fat on the edges, with hardly any taste, and 3 meagre portions of carrots, peas and broccoli. We felt extremely disappointed. This meal is the type of Sunday lunch we have unfortunately been served at other places and have not returned. We had been so delighted to find somewhere with good service, excellent food, and very reasonable prices, and now feel deflated. We wondered was it a different chef, but no. We hope it was just a one-off??

Cheap and cheerful earlybird tea on a Saturday, great value meal and friendly, efficient service.

Called in for lunch today Saturday, we often pass here so decided to call in , lovely friendly welcome from the young waitress. We had the 2 coarse lunch time special potato skins with a garlic mayonnaise and we both had the pizza really nice and thin and tasted fantastic. We didn’t have sweets as we were too full. Overall a lovely little Italians with good food and friendly staff and very efficient service definitely we will return and try more of their lovely menu .

Decided to give Pietro's a try for a Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. Pate` for starter was very nice and the main was delicious , melt in the mouth beef and all the trimmings. 2 courses for £8:95 each ex drinks , will be back

We visited the restaurant yesterday for Sunday lunch which was absolutely delicious. Great value for money!!!!! We had been to the Metro Centre and decided to call once again as we knew the service would be fast and extremely welcoming. The food once again was cooked perfectly I had Chicken Diane with homemade chips my partner had sea bass and roasted vegetables. Once again it was delicious, presentation was perfect and great value for money. We will be back !!!!!

Very good Italian food with an extrnsive menue.They now do a takeaway service and the pizzas are delicious. Very friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble.Prices are reasonsble. If you like good food cooked to perfection, you need to try Pietros.

Sunday lunch with a difference, Bruschetta to start, Roast Beef for main course and Pannacotta for dessert. We will definitely be back to this “Little Gem” Give it ago and you won’t be disappointed.

Give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed. Delicious food, the best pâté I’ve had in ages. Pizzas also ready nice. Good service and friendly atmosphere.

Visited Pietro’s after reading the reviews on here. We’ve passed lots of times and wondered what it was like. We must have visited on an off night. We were the only ones in and it was freezing cold inside. The food was average at best. Very disappointed. We will not return.

From the minute we stepped foot through the door we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. We were given both the happy hour menu and the main menu. Both menus were amazing value for money and we ordered items from both. The starter was served with perfect timing and you could see the extra effort that has gone in to present it, looked good and tasted great. Drinks were topped up with no wait, the waitress was very attentive. Main meals were just as delicious however the large portions meant we couldn’t finish it but we were offered a takeout box for the left overs. We thoroughly enjoyed our night out and will definitely be back.

When you look from the outside it doesn’t look much. I’ve passed this place hundreds of times and thought I should give it a try. Went early and the service was excellent. The staff were very attentive and served us quickly. The house wine is excellent and the menu had a great selection. The food came out hot and we all enjoyed both a starter and main course. Prices are reasonable and cheaper than many of the competition. All in all an excellent restaurant for either couples or a family. Definitely be back again.

Visited recently for my partners birthday as we have been meaning to try this restaurant for ages. All I can say is, we will be visiting again, and wished we had found it sooner.

Nice atmosphere welcoming staff very busy so we had to wait a while but it really was worth it the food is extremely good.

Been in hundreds Italian restaurants, travelling to Italy every year. This restaurant is just very good!!! Bruschetta is amazing!! Pizza is perfect crispy thin tasty!!! There is is so many Italian restaurants around me but I would drive a bit more to have that food

We’ve just enjoyed our first (and not last) visit to Pietro’s. We were made very welcome by Alex and certainly look forward to meeting up again very soon. Very friendly staff and excellent food. Caron and I both ordered the Stroganoff di Manzo and it was exquisite. It will be hard not to order the same meal on our next visit but we look forward to sampling the rest of the menu.

Always a lovely specials menu, freshly cooked food and a friendly smile. This place is a must whether you are passing through or otherwise the food is amazing. Whilst it’s an Italian restaurant you will definitely find something to eat.

Myself and 3 colleagues called in here without a prior booking on a Saturday night and were warmly welcomed by the staff and promptly shown to our table. Drinks were pretty quick in coming after the initial order and staff were on hand to take our meals order with prompt efficiency. The food was delicious and price around £35 (thats 4 dining with drinks). I think we may still have caught the "happy hour". Thoroughly enjoyed my pizza and we all ordered something different which all looked delicious. We had no pudding as the main meal was more than sufficient and would definitely return again

We visit this restaurant on a regular basis and are never disappointed. Great choice of excellent freshly prepared food. A high standard of service with a warm and friendly approach from staff.

Visited numerous times since it was taken over a couple of months ago. This place deserves to do well , the food is consistently of an excellent standard , the service is excellent to , nothing is ever a trouble . You won’t be disappointed . Well done .

First visit since a change in name, the food was excellent, tasty with good sized portions and excellent seasoning! The prices are good and we shall definitely be back!
