A great restaurant on the pier- the staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent; we had fish and chips, steak and ale pie and skate wing - all very fresh and cooked…. Be sure to go outside and watch the waves furiously slapping on the pier- it is a sight to behold. The beach is long and wide. Highly recommended.

I booked a party of 15 friends in for a pre theatre meal in their restaurant having pre ordered from the Christmas Fayre menu. The feedback from my friends following our visit was very good. Everyone commented on how good the quality and quantity of the food served to us was. It was hot and very tasty and despite so many orders at one time, it was all served together. They had a system of our place names with details of our individual orders put at our seats so that the correct order went immediately to the correct person. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and attentive without being over bearing. Our thanks to all the staff at the hotel, including the kitchen staff, for making our evening so enjoyable. I highly recommend the restaurant at this hotel.

I visited the pub part of the hotel. I was impressed with the decor which had clearly resulted from major refurbishment. It was welcoming, warm and comfortable.

Only popped in for a coffee but it was good service and really lovely coffee. There are clear screens up for protection when it's windy and ok for dog lovers in the outside seating. Nice location.

Lovely hotel for 127 years old Quirky location at the shipping pier. Lovely to watch the ships come in to port Not the tourist side of GT Yarmouth so it is fairly quiet and tranquil. Dinner menu is good with some nice varieties

Saturday 24th August I had my retirement due in the Vino room would like to say a big thank you to all the staff who worked that day for making it a memorable occasion, many thanks to April for getting us a table for the guest book and the flowers she put on it, we highly recommend the Pier.

Superb location with excellent staff. The price of drinks was OK but £8.50 for a slice of cheesecake eaten in the bar was expensive. The room had great views and facilities but some of the communal areas seemed tired but forgivable as the building is currently being refurbished. Breakfast selection was good but the scrambled eggs were not. The bread selection consisted of a choice of white or brown sliced packaged bread, no rolls or alternative breads but there were croissants. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Popped in here for lunch while visiting the area. Had fish cakes which although small as a starter were very tasty . My wife had pate which had a large portion of pate and could have done with more bread.

A lovely clean hotel on the beach front. We had a free upgrade to the sunshine suite which was a nice suprise. Very comfy and spacious. The view was nice apart from railings and solar panels outside the window which meant a slight obstructive view of the lovely beach. A cute little cut out with chairs overlooking the harbour on the second floor. Food was nice, staff friendly. Not a cheap stay but nice. Lifts available for those who need. Location is lovely but not much to do in the area

A man on reception kindly drove me to the hospital for my hospital appointment at James Paget Hospital when I was late. I made it on time and that was extremely helpful for me. It was an exceptional act of kindness and helped me out tremendously. I am very grateful.

First time visit here, thank you to the pleasant and friendly staff, ordered jumbo battered sausage, spam fritter, chips, curry sauce, well priced in comparison with other chippys in the area (5 mile’s radius) Everything was cooked fresh and tasted great, I don’t believe some of the previous reviews I’ll be back

The room was clean and everything worked as it should do in there. We were able to park easily on the car park as there were a good amount of allocated spaces. Check-in was very smooth. It was very useful to have sugar/tea/milk stored near reception for customers to help themselves to (other premier inns I have stayed in don't always have this and it's more time consuming having to ask people at reception, especially as there isn't someone always on there the entire time so it's just much easier if you can get them yourself) The shower was good. Registering the vehicle at the self service desk did not work. When we came to it, there was already another's car registration in the box. We took this out and put our car registration in. It then asked how many days we were staying for - this was a confusing question as we were checking in 30.03.25 and checking out 01.04.25, but we did not know if this would class as 2 or 3 days? We put 3 days to be on the safe side and clicked confirmed but nothing happened. It did not say this had been successful or registered. So I asked the receptionist and they checked for us and no it had not gone through.... Good job I said something because if we had just left it and assumed it had gone through we would probably be receiving a fine! This may be the case for the people who put their car registration in before us too if they did not check with reception. The receptionist did it for us on her computer but she didn't come and take a look at the machines which weren't working properly, and when we checked out 2 days later I took a look at them as we left and they still looked the same, so it doesn't look like these have been fixed at all and no 'out of order' signs have been put them on which is not very good. Breakfast was a let down. Unfortunately there were no blueberry muffins both days, and no pancakes on the first day despite these being listed as being available on the menu. I don't think it was a case of they had some out but had ran out by the time we had breakfast (which was 9am, which is not late considering breakfast is available until 10.30am) I don't think there had been any available the entire time because there were no empty trays for them. Even if there had been some out earlier and they had all gone, then more should have been replenished. I don't think this is very good for the price you are paying to have 2 items just not on the buffet and nothing up to say why or offer apologies. The cooked breakfast was barely hot. The first day it was buffet style and the second day cooked to order. Both of these days everything on it was luke warm except for the sausages which were fairly hot. This effected enjoyment and was disappointing. I have stayed in other Premier Inns where I have had both buffet style and cooked to order breakfasts and they have not been as poor as this. The bed was also not as comfy as previous premier inns I have stayed in, the second day I had a really bad back ache because of this.
