Really enjoyed the delicious pecan & carrots cake. We sat in window seats for couple soft drinks & coffees & cake. Lovely staff here. Only few seats but would recommend.

Twice in 3 days i have ordered instead of coke i get pepsi max they keep repeating it and for that i won't be ordering again. If they haven't got the items then amend the order but twice this week now . Disrespectful to customers completely sending items out that are incorrect 😤

The customer service I received today was unparalleled. Mistakes happen, I received an incorrect order but all it took was a single phone call and less than 5 minutes for the replacement to reach me. I’ve never had an issue resolved as quickly and efficiently as today. There’s not many establishments that will go above and beyond but Picassos definitely did today!

On entry i knew we we're in for a treat! Decor was aesthetically pleasing. Very clean and well presented. Warm welcome. Desserts were well packaged and generous sized portions. The carrot cake and red velvet tasted AMAZING. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 10/10. No need to look elsewhere.

This dessert shop was a lovely little shop with some amazing desserts, with a wide variety of things to choose from. The desserts are very nice, however the staff need to be more professional, most of them are just kids. I wouldn't be able to give 5 stars as the staff just put you off. If this dessert shop was to hire some trained professional staff i would say its the best dessert shop in Birmingham.

I have not been a fan of ice cream/desserts until I visited Picassos, Hodge Hill. The food is great, the place is Beautiful, clean and the best staff you will ever see. Customer Service second to none. AJ

This is a small place and we weren't allowed upstairs. It seemed quite busy with many people. It might be better to phone and collect the order. The deserts and ice cream were also well packaged. You can use the Tesco car park and pick up. There was a slight delay with the order due to how busy they were but there were enough staff to deal with the demand. I would go again as the deserts are quite nice.

During the Lockdown my family decided we fancied dessert. Picasso in Hodge Hill to the rescue. We ordered in cookie dough and cinnamon ice-cream which was a perfect choice from a great range of selections. Excellent service, friendly, helpful and delivery was very quick. I would definitely recommend. 10/10 MB

My friend I popped down to this place - she had been before and said it was really good. However neither of us really enjoyed our experience this time. She said it was far better last time she went which was over a year ago. This was my first time and I mostly certainly won’t be returning. The counter is downstairs. The place is tucked away is this dodgy area, which seems extra dodgy in the dark, near a Tesco. You walk in , and first expression is wow. The deco is defo nice, there’s a lovely funky coloured sofa, good lighting, the cakes look amazing... shame they don’t taste how they look.... So we were taken to our seats upstairs - very tight cosy place, it wasn’t busy when we went so could become overcrowded when busy. Loved the LED tree in the corner, the little candles on the tables. Small touches but defo make a difference. The place has so much potential but it’s a shame the food and service let it down. We ordered waffles (kiss- raspberries and choc), and red velvet cake and Moroccan tea. The cake was awful, it’s like it had no sugar, extremely dry, the icing was awful. And for £4 the slice was very small, with a huge dollop of floppy watery squirty cream, which totally ruined it. The waffles was very doughy, the plate seemed so oversized - the taste of the raspberries with chocolate was okay however it just looked so cheap for the price your paying which is real shame. The tea was nice. The pot size has got smaller according to my friend - we ordered two, the second we waited about 20mins for because the waitress was far too busy either on her phone or hugging the other waitress. The amount of staff was silly, they seemed so engrossed in their own misconduct almost like it was a bother serving customers. Not all of them but the ones upstairs defo need some lessons in etiquettes and how to serve. Those two things really let it down for us, the service and food. Was it work it? No Would I go back? No Would I recommend it? No Deco very nice, just a shame really. Far better places out there.

It's a decent place but I personally don't like places where you have to scream during conversations because the music is so loud you should be wearing hearing protection. I mean it, your staff is at risk of getting their hearing damaged. So as a place to scream, dance and drink it's perfect. As a social place? No.

Went on a Sunday and have the Caribbean carvery. Paid £19 I believe. With £5 deposit each when booking online and that paid for drinks. I liked that we had the choice of 2 soft drinks rather than 1, for the alcoholic drinks one was allowed for each person with a paid deposit. We went for the rum punch which normally cost £8.00 something but we got it for £5 with the deposit accounting for it. The rum was definitely in it which was good as you feel you’re getting your moneys worth. I did want it weaker and so the waitress (the only one serving! Well done for that) kindly gave me a glass of orange juice which worked well for me. My partner enjoyed the original strength of his drink though. The food provided a big plate and I like that you could have meat and fish. The food was okay. For example unfortunately the plantain I had was dry. Nonetheless I enjoyed the time there and staff were friendly.

We met some friends here on a Saturday for some drinks. After being there for about an hour (6pm), the manager came up and asked us to leave imminently. There was a 30th birthday party taking place, and people were waiting outside to enter. At no point was we aware upon arrival that this was the case, especially when we had just ordered a round of drinks. if we knew this, we would have gone somewhere else and settled down for the night.
