Picasso’s in Birmingham

Picassos is the only dessert shop in Birmingham which makes your dessert the way you want it, especially with generous toppings. Zaida the assistant manager has brilliant customer service and made the experience so lovely that I shall be a returning customer. Zaida and the other girls so far know how to make the kinda bueno with extra Belgium chocolate sauce waffle the way I like it 🙌🏽 😋 thanks girls

Came to look at the beautiful mural (big fan of Katie's work), and was not disappointed. I had a look at the foods and drinks, and it looked AMAZING! Unfortunately, being diabetic, I couldn't have any, but please be assured that if I weren't i would definitely be having a selection of that sweet stuff!!!

Have been ordering from picassos for a while now. It is my go to place for dessert. The desserts are awesome and always delivered on time. Special shout out to zaida for her professional and caring manner. She is always a pleasure to deal with. I can't recommend this place enough!

Picasso’s is hands down my favourite dessert shop ever! I’m here at least three times a week, and they never disappoint. The service is always on point, and the staff are really friendly. Picasso’s places a high emphasis on presentation and attention to detail, ensuring that every treat is not only delicious but also visually appealing, making each visit a delight. I can't get enough of their Karak Chai — it's the perfect mix of spice and sweetness, and I always look forward to it. If you’re wanting a late night sweet treat, this is definitely the place to be!

I cannot thank the manager enough with his kindness, hospitality and genuine goodness. He has always been so sweet to every customer/non customer and even when I’ve had car troubles, he’s unconditionally helped. We’ve never been disappointed by the service or food and we’re always coming back. They have a lot of fancy desserts which I am sure are amazing i’m here to rave about their carrot cake. It was one of the best slices of carrot cake I have ever had. Incredibly moist, well balanced not too sweet. I was really very impressed.

Got the red velvet shake and it was absolutely delicious. A nice thick and consistent texture! Very pleased with the quality as a lot of places use low quality ice cream whereas piccasos use high end top quality ingredients! Well worth the price! Also customer service on point, friendly and welcoming!

Best karak chai chocolate hedgehog and pistachio milkshake

Picasso’s hands down has the best Knafeh cups in Birmingham! My friend Iqra insists we go there every day after the gym — she says it’s the ultimate post-workout treat, and she’s absolutely right. Sometimes, the only way I can get her to the gym is by promising a Knafeh cup from Picasso’s afterward, it works like a charm everytime!

Was meeting an old colleague in the shop next door and walked inside to see if we shouldve come here instead. The manager who served us was so bubbly, we ended up staying for ice-cream. She had a real spark that I dont usually see at establishments in Birmingham. Not usually one for leaving reviews but she left quite an impression and if we are ever in the city again, will definitely try out the desserts.

Picasso’s is my regular dessert spot! The hospitality is lovely, warm and welcoming. The actual desserts are sensational, no matter what the dessert is they are always fire. I recently tried the peach cobbler aka the peach crumble and it was so good I would 100% recommend, so tasty and something different to the apple crumble.

I don't know how anyone can go wrong with a simple concrete cake but it was the worst one I've tried. It needed way more cocoa powder and it wasn't like a concrete cake texture at all, it was more like a dry cake with a slight crumble. Even the colour looked off because of the lack of cocoa powder. & the mojitos had no mint or lime, just tasted like lemonade with some flavour syrup and a piece of lemon added in.

Greatest establishment, that I’ve been coming to for years. Top-notch quality and very consistent quality of desserts. The kind of place you’re confident will impress friends who are out of town. Very obvious that they pay a lot of attention to customer experience and presentation, even down to the packaging and napkins. Doesn’t have that sickly smell that some desert shops often do. Personal favourites are the chocolate ganache which is moist and never overdone and dry and the premium thick cake shakes. Take away and car parking in front and behind the Tesco car park.

We ate inside on the 1 table and 2 chairs they had but they gave all our food in takeaway cups and boxes and the coffee and cakes were very average. The owner told us that we had to order quickly as we can as girls who look from outside the shop get intimated by paying custmers with hooded jackets on even though it's winter so it's cold outside but it seemed like he's more worried about girls coming to his shop late at night and they end up walking away if they see hooded jackets. What kind of thing is that to come out with when you've got customers in your shop about to order! Won't be coming here again so he's lost 2 customers here. You can have your young girls coming to your shop lol

Amazing desserts always. I have been coming here for desserts ever since 2017 when they newly opened. Now there is not much indoor seating so I get a collection order, Zee always greets me with amazing customer service!

Used to be good. Fell off in terms of quality and portion sizes. Shrinkflation- the milkshake size has decreased to a small-medium cup yet the price has gone up to £8? Absolutely ridiculous. Anyone would think Pablo is tossing the waffle grills himself. They justify their prices by saying they are delivering a premium service- if so, why does it look like half of my cake slice is missing? I know times are hard but it looks like they are dishing out rations.

I ordered an ice latte from them, but unfortunately, a straw was missing from the order. When I reached out to their customer service team to address the issue, I must admit that I was quite rude. However, I was pleasantly surprised by their immediate response - they arranged for someone to drop off the missing straw promptly and even gave me a free ice latte as a gesture of goodwill. I must say, this level of service truly exceeded my expectations.

Always ten ten, from the desserts to the service

Clearly a very popular spot, we came for a cup of chai before a long trip back to London. Staff were super friendly. Zii in particular was incredibly nice, and clearly takes a lot of pride in the store, making sure the display was in top shape, and checking in with customers despite it being busy. Love to see a small business thriving like this xx

Last 4 times I’ve been have been left waiting for about an hour. Always phone order and ask how long the wait will be to which I’m told 10-20 minutes only to be waiting about an hour for a rubbish dessert. Don’t know why their desserts have gone down hill but they need to sort it out. Won’t bother ordering from here again

Excellent customer service. Very swift with taking and bringing out orders and more importantly the taste and quality of the deserts is superior. Personal fave in Bham especially their Matilda cake!

Home made cakes , worth price staff are friendly great atmosphere

I was having party for my exams. My uncle put in a proper big order. I really wanted my milkshake but they didn't even send it. He phoned and they were so rude. Thank you shakehouse for my milkshake.

We ordered desserts for a family party worth £110 and 3 milkshakes were missed from the order. We phoned the store and were dealt with by a member of staff who gave the name zee. He said the milkshakes were in the fridge and we were told to come in to store to collect them ourselves despite this being a store mistake. Zee argued on the phone with us and claimed it was uber's mistake and not the store's but the milkshakes weren't left in the car they were still in the fridge in store. He complained that he had other customers in store to serve despite becoming collection only recently.If we were able to come in to collect would we have ordered the food for delivery? Why should we go out of our way and waste more money to come and collect in store when this was their error. Zee was very rude on the phone and would not acknowledge the mistake. our night was spoiled and we won't be ordering from here again. At the least they need to be trained on giving better service

They are lucky google don’t have an option of a 0 star rating. We ordered for our family and guests we had over during the England match. We was excited for dessert but upon arrival they missed 3 milkshakes on a £110 order. When we rang the shop to tell them about this mistake the customer service representative zee stated they messed up and forgot to give our milkshakes to the Uber driver and they was sitting in the fridge. Then after this ‘mistake’ they had the audacity to say come and pick them up when we specifically ordered for a delivery. As an owner they should rectify their mistake by sending us the milkshakes and to provide a great service but then zee carried on arguing over the phone and saying ‘it was Ubers fault’ when they previously admitted blatantly it was their mistake. This poor attempt at customer service was below standard and zee needs training when dealing with customers. The constant shouting over the phone not only left me in a bad mood but also an earache. The best thing about this was the Uber driver who was employed by Uber. He had more customer service skills than zee. Won’t be ordering again and if future customers read this review please go elsewhere as their are better dessert establishments in the same area. England are bringing it home⚽️ but Picasso’s are not bringing us our milkshakes

Best honeycomb flavour ice cream

Disappointing service. What's the point of having a collection window if it's not going to be used, especially when the shop isn't even busy? I waited over 20 minutes before being served.

I used to be a regular here at Picasso’s and usually I’d never usually fault the place. The decorum is lovely and it is very clean inside. However… The last couple times I’ve ordered online my desserts haven’t tasted very nice. Today I ordered a S’mores off of the menu and I really just wasn’t impressed with it at all. It didn’t look the best upon opening the box either. The time before, I ordered a sprinkle cake with custard and the cake was literally drowning in the custard to the point that the cake was soggy and falling apart. This could have been avoided if the custard was just put into a separate container. I’m quite disappointed, this is not the Picasso’s I’m used to😒

I have visited Picassos on numerous occasions in the past couple years and they have always provided a high quality service with their desserts. Today i visited and received my order within 5 minutes which was very efficient and also had a friendly conversation with the manager who is a great guy 👍🏽. ZEB

Do I need to say anything other than go there and find out. For sure you’ll understand. I come from London to get the best shakes and any other dessert. You want a THICC shake with two Cs, come here! Never misses, you ask for the most specific dessert and they will provide the goods. It all starts with the right foundation and honestly this is the best place to be. From the main man to the rest of the staff, what a comfy place to go to when you’ve had a stressful day. Sucking on that shake makes you forget all your problems. Forget Family-friendly, this place will make your enemy love you.

What can i say about Picassos, been waiting for ages to come and i finally made it! On a recommendation Carrot cake was the choice and it was amazing nice and moist the filling was smooth freshly baked. I did get it to take away should have got two slices.. and fruit bowl great selection in there and karak tea nice and hot! Great staff aswell 😍 not many pics as i actually ate the cake and forgot to take a pic.

Firstly, there’s only about 5 things you can order as they’ve changed the menu. Secondly they provide cheap takeout cups so my tea had fallen everywhere and thirdly the customer service is weird. The staff don’t really know what they are doing.

I would have given a zero star if I could for the service that I recieved from this place , the manager over here does not know at all how to speak to the customers and threatning the customer and telling them to get out on top , Im usually a really calm person but the manager over here brought me to the point that I had to reply back to him for him being rude , this is England and if we are paying for something we need promised customer service , doesnt matter if you are tired you signed up for it and this type of language is unacceptable I will also put on the picture of the manager who needs to go school and learn a thing or two about manners otherwise he will effect the business big time

Came off work to eat. The services were slow and dry and manager didn't act like a manager at all not even for one second. Chatty fella bugged the hell out of me, starts talking to you as if you're his some old friend.. Mate I came here to eat, i don't know you why you're telling me your childhood

The N.o 1 food item is THE CHOCOLATE GANACHE CAKE!!! I love desserrts ive had chocoalte cakes from tons of places but these guys top it off! Its doesnt hav too much chocolate and its still delciously creamy too!! Drooling r8 now. The proof is the fact every time i try to order it on uber eats itll be there for a sec and next thing u know there all gone thats how quick they go. Ive had many of their other desserts from these guys there delicious waffles to mocktails to cookie doughs all a really well done! Defo try them out <3

I made an order for Waffel and Milkshake. A Small order. 3 orders made after me, got there's before mine. For some stupid reason they made my hot dessert first and cold dessert last. Which ment, I would be eating a cold waffle. The waffel was sitting in the box for 5min until the shake was made. IT WAS COLD.

The quality of the ingredients in the strawberry cheesecake I ordered was tasted really good. Very good customer service aswell but does get very busy at times, especially weekends so expect a wait.

Love coming back here. Brother Mohammad is so lovely, always takes great care of the customers. Best dessert place ever. From Oxford to Manchester, never had better dessert. Best brownies, cakes, waffles, crepes, milkshakes, mocktails and the service is brilliant. The main brother behind the counter, I believe one of the owners, is extremely charismatic and the staff very helpful too. The ones you NEED to try are the Bombshell & The Fudge Cake with custard, nothing better! 10/10!

The desserts were lovely but I was served by a continuously rude, entitled and abnoxious manager who had long oily hair. Despite me trying to diffuse the situation, he was very provocative and sarcastic. His colleagues thought we were acquaintances prior to me coming into the shop, due to how frank he was acting with myself. I don't associate with such inviduals. First time coming here. The decor was beautiful and chic. Not like your typical "pink flower wall" dessert place. They had a variety of drinks and desserts. I got the Picasso's Lyco mojito which was a blend of lychee, orange and some other fruits. And got the red velvet cheesecake. The service was quite efficient and the staff were kind. Overall, the food and drinks were delicious. Will definitely be coming back again.

Wonderful dessert and professional service always, treated with respect every time. But as with everything else the prices have gone up but still do the best waffles around. Had the cookie dough but lacked sweetness for some reason, tastefully decorated, busy as always but always helpful friendly staff.

Ive just ordered desserts from Picasso where i ckearly stated in the nite section that i wanted the 3 concrete cake seperate from the custard which they never did. They put it together in the same box. I called and soke to the manager and hes answer was itvwas a human error and i need to take this up woth uber. You have made a mistake on the order and instead of refunding the money as the whole order costed me £55 he just brushed me off. I am eeally annoyed as i have rordered many times previously but not again. Not after this tine asi feel disgusted how he has just brushed ne off. Rubbish customer service!!

Best Oreo milkshake in Birmingham. They don’t skimp on the Oreo’s. Most places in Birmingham Oreo milkshake tastes like a couple of Oreo’s blended in milk. Not here. Definitely worth trying

Never disappointed by the quality of their deserts. However they do take a while for certain items as they get super busy. It’s also not a great place to sit and wait because of the limited space in store.

This ain’t the first time make u wait ages for delivery .ordered 11:15 on Uber eats it is now 12:50!!! Still no delivery. If you can’t handle the orders don’t take them. Think it best to place orders 24hours in advance to get it on time. Had guest over and they have left!

No gloves used at all to make a waffle and man handling it with extended nails on the girl and putting the toppings on also with her non gloved hand!
