Picasso’s in Birmingham

I ordered an ice latte from them, but unfortunately, a straw was missing from the order. When I reached out to their customer service team to address the issue, I must admit that I was quite rude. However, I was pleasantly surprised by their immediate response - they arranged for someone to drop off the missing straw promptly and even gave me a free ice latte as a gesture of goodwill. I must say, this level of service truly exceeded my expectations.

usually have a really good experience and is my go to place for dessert but they messed my order up litterslly just chucked it in the box and it all fell apart and didn’t answer the phone, after calling multiple times. disappointing :(

Despite growing in popularity, Picasso’s has managed to maintain its high standard of service, making every visit feel special. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the team provides fantastic service every time. There’s one standout staff member, a brother with slicked-back hair, who is always polite, respectful, and makes you feel right at home. Even when he's not there, the rest of the team is just as amazing, ensuring that every guest is treated with the same warmth and attentiveness. As for the desserts, they are simply sensational! My go-to is the Blueberry Muffin Milkshake paired with the Queen of Hearts—this combination is unbeatable and a must-try for any visitor. I never leave Birmingham without indulging in it. Another favorite of mine is the Pistachio Milk Cake, which is nothing short of fantastic. It’s rich, flavorful, and always leaves me wanting more. If you’re ever in Birmingham, Picasso’s Dessert should be at the top of your list. Their unique, top-quality desserts and excellent service make every visit unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Always ten ten, from the desserts to the service

Clearly a very popular spot, we came for a cup of chai before a long trip back to London. Staff were super friendly. Zii in particular was incredibly nice, and clearly takes a lot of pride in the store, making sure the display was in top shape, and checking in with customers despite it being busy. Love to see a small business thriving like this xx

Last 4 times I’ve been have been left waiting for about an hour. Always phone order and ask how long the wait will be to which I’m told 10-20 minutes only to be waiting about an hour for a rubbish dessert. Don’t know why their desserts have gone down hill but they need to sort it out. Won’t bother ordering from here again

Excellent customer service. Very swift with taking and bringing out orders and more importantly the taste and quality of the deserts is superior. Personal fave in Bham especially their Matilda cake!

Used to be good. Fell off in terms of quality and portion sizes. Shrinkflation- the milkshake size has decreased to a small-medium cup yet the price has gone up to £8? Absolutely ridiculous. Anyone would think Pablo is tossing the waffle grills himself.

I was having party for my exams. My uncle put in a proper big order. I really wanted my milkshake but they didn't even send it. He phoned and they were so rude. Thank you shakehouse for my milkshake.

We ordered desserts for a family party worth £110 and 3 milkshakes were missed from the order. We phoned the store and were dealt with by a member of staff who gave the name zee. He said the milkshakes were in the fridge and we were told to come in to store to collect them ourselves despite this being a store mistake. Zee argued on the phone with us and claimed it was uber's mistake and not the store's but the milkshakes weren't left in the car they were still in the fridge in store. He complained that he had other customers in store to serve despite becoming collection only recently.If we were able to come in to collect would we have ordered the food for delivery? Why should we go out of our way and waste more money to come and collect in store when this was their error. Zee was very rude on the phone and would not acknowledge the mistake. our night was spoiled and we won't be ordering from here again. At the least they need to be trained on giving better service

They are lucky google don’t have an option of a 0 star rating. We ordered for our family and guests we had over during the England match. We was excited for dessert but upon arrival they missed 3 milkshakes on a £110 order. When we rang the shop to tell them about this mistake the customer service representative zee stated they messed up and forgot to give our milkshakes to the Uber driver and they was sitting in the fridge. Then after this ‘mistake’ they had the audacity to say come and pick them up when we specifically ordered for a delivery. As an owner they should rectify their mistake by sending us the milkshakes and to provide a great service but then zee carried on arguing over the phone and saying ‘it was Ubers fault’ when they previously admitted blatantly it was their mistake. This poor attempt at customer service was below standard and zee needs training when dealing with customers. The constant shouting over the phone not only left me in a bad mood but also an earache. The best thing about this was the Uber driver who was employed by Uber. He had more customer service skills than zee. Won’t be ordering again and if future customers read this review please go elsewhere as their are better dessert establishments in the same area. England are bringing it home⚽️ but Picasso’s are not bringing us our milkshakes

Disappointing service. What's the point of having a collection window if it's not going to be used, especially when the shop isn't even busy? I waited over 20 minutes before being served.

Nice milkshakes and mojitos, service is slow and the area is quite rough specially late at night.

I used to be a regular here at Picasso’s and usually I’d never usually fault the place. The decorum is lovely and it is very clean inside. However… The last couple times I’ve ordered online my desserts haven’t tasted very nice. Today I ordered a S’mores off of the menu and I really just wasn’t impressed with it at all. It didn’t look the best upon opening the box either. The time before, I ordered a sprinkle cake with custard and the cake was literally drowning in the custard to the point that the cake was soggy and falling apart. This could have been avoided if the custard was just put into a separate container. I’m quite disappointed, this is not the Picasso’s I’m used to😒

I have visited Picassos on numerous occasions in the past couple years and they have always provided a high quality service with their desserts. Today i visited and received my order within 5 minutes which was very efficient and also had a friendly conversation with the manager who is a great guy 👍🏽. ZEB

Do I need to say anything other than go there and find out. For sure you’ll understand. I come from London to get the best shakes and any other dessert. You want a THICC shake with two Cs, come here! Never misses, you ask for the most specific dessert and they will provide the goods. It all starts with the right foundation and honestly this is the best place to be. From the main man to the rest of the staff, what a comfy place to go to when you’ve had a stressful day. Sucking on that shake makes you forget all your problems. Forget Family-friendly, this place will make your enemy love you.

I’ve been coming for the last few months and every time it’s been immaculate service. I can’t fault them tbh only thing I’d say is I just wished they had seating in. Again, it’s not a fault just a suggestion for future stores.

What can i say about Picassos, been waiting for ages to come and i finally made it! On a recommendation Carrot cake was the choice and it was amazing nice and moist the filling was smooth freshly baked. I did get it to take away should have got two slices.. and fruit bowl great selection in there and karak tea nice and hot! Great staff aswell 😍 not many pics as i actually ate the cake and forgot to take a pic.

Firstly, there’s only about 5 things you can order as they’ve changed the menu. Secondly they provide cheap takeout cups so my tea had fallen everywhere and thirdly the customer service is weird. The staff don’t really know what they are doing.

Came off work to eat. The services were slow and dry and manager didn't act like a manager at all not even for one second. Chatty fella bugged the hell out of me, starts talking to you as if you're his some old friend.. Mate I came here to eat, i don't know you why you're telling me your childhood

I would have given a zero star if I could for the service that I recieved from this place , the manager over here does not know at all how to speak to the customers and threatning the customer and telling them to get out on top , Im usually a really calm person but the manager over here brought me to the point that I had to reply back to him for him being rude , this is England and if we are paying for something we need promised customer service , doesnt matter if you are tired you signed up for it and this type of language is unacceptable I will also put on the picture of the manager who needs to go school and learn a thing or two about manners otherwise he will effect the business big time

The N.o 1 food item is THE CHOCOLATE GANACHE CAKE!!! I love desserrts ive had chocoalte cakes from tons of places but these guys top it off! Its doesnt hav too much chocolate and its still delciously creamy too!! Drooling r8 now. The proof is the fact every time i try to order it on uber eats itll be there for a sec and next thing u know there all gone thats how quick they go. Ive had many of their other desserts from these guys there delicious waffles to mocktails to cookie doughs all a really well done! Defo try them out <3

I made an order for Waffel and Milkshake. A Small order. 3 orders made after me, got there's before mine. For some stupid reason they made my hot dessert first and cold dessert last. Which ment, I would be eating a cold waffle. The waffel was sitting in the box for 5min until the shake was made. IT WAS COLD.

The quality of the ingredients in the strawberry cheesecake I ordered was tasted really good. Very good customer service aswell but does get very busy at times, especially weekends so expect a wait.

Love coming back here. Brother Mohammad is so lovely, always takes great care of the customers. Best dessert place ever. From Oxford to Manchester, never had better dessert. Best brownies, cakes, waffles, crepes, milkshakes, mocktails and the service is brilliant. The main brother behind the counter, I believe one of the owners, is extremely charismatic and the staff very helpful too. The ones you NEED to try are the Bombshell & The Fudge Cake with custard, nothing better! 10/10!

The desserts were lovely but I was served by a continuously rude, entitled and abnoxious manager who had long oily hair. Despite me trying to diffuse the situation, he was very provocative and sarcastic. His colleagues thought we were acquaintances prior to me coming into the shop, due to how frank he was acting with myself. I don't associate with such inviduals. First time coming here. The decor was beautiful and chic. Not like your typical "pink flower wall" dessert place. They had a variety of drinks and desserts. I got the Picasso's Lyco mojito which was a blend of lychee, orange and some other fruits. And got the red velvet cheesecake. The service was quite efficient and the staff were kind. Overall, the food and drinks were delicious. Will definitely be coming back again.

Wonderful dessert and professional service always, treated with respect every time. But as with everything else the prices have gone up but still do the best waffles around. Had the cookie dough but lacked sweetness for some reason, tastefully decorated, busy as always but always helpful friendly staff.

Ive just ordered desserts from Picasso where i ckearly stated in the nite section that i wanted the 3 concrete cake seperate from the custard which they never did. They put it together in the same box. I called and soke to the manager and hes answer was itvwas a human error and i need to take this up woth uber. You have made a mistake on the order and instead of refunding the money as the whole order costed me £55 he just brushed me off. I am eeally annoyed as i have rordered many times previously but not again. Not after this tine asi feel disgusted how he has just brushed ne off. Rubbish customer service!!

Best Oreo milkshake in Birmingham. They don’t skimp on the Oreo’s. Most places in Birmingham Oreo milkshake tastes like a couple of Oreo’s blended in milk. Not here. Definitely worth trying

Never disappointed by the quality of their deserts. However they do take a while for certain items as they get super busy. It’s also not a great place to sit and wait because of the limited space in store.

This ain’t the first time make u wait ages for delivery .ordered 11:15 on Uber eats it is now 12:50!!! Still no delivery. If you can’t handle the orders don’t take them. Think it best to place orders 24hours in advance to get it on time. Had guest over and they have left!

I gave this place a one stat review before as I felt my last two visits were not good, however being an honest reviewer and being convinced by my friends to try it again for the third time I will have to admire the fact they have improved since then. Whether its taking on the feedback or improving their service, my third visit turned out to be good. Well done to the establishment for taking on board the feedback, fairplay, can't argue with that one. Mojito was really nice, sadly I didn't know the name of it, but I can say it was nail on the head (meaning excellent).

Divine desserts! It’s my second time coming to Picasso’s and it is my go to place for dessert! I can tell they are so popular as there was already a queue as I entered the store. I always have their Moroccan tea and I got their red velvet cheesecake, red velvet cake, rainbow cream cake and the fudge cake. All cakes are so light, rich and moist. I’ve previously had their peach cobbler before and it’s so rare for a dessert place to have this dessert and execute it so well. That just made me instantly fall in love with the place!

Appalling. Ordered an acai bowl. Clearly was not an acai bowl. Acai is vegan but they've made it differently. Yoghurt mixed with an acai pack. Something I can do myself by ordered acai off Amazon. Ridiculous because it is not clear on uber eats it will be made with dairy. - I CANNOT eat dairy. Called and the person I spoked to confirmed it is mixed with yoghurt. Explained this is not how acai is supposed to be made. He seemed a bit clueless but anyone can opened a desert place to be honest. He asked if anything he can do regards to allergy but otherwise seemed he could not be bothered to talk.. I tried to be very understanding and said I don't want to speak to management but please make this clear for customers as someone with severe allergies or dietary requirements would be a lot more upset. Was not offered a refund or anything as such.

Love this little dessert shop, the quality is top notch and only the best ingredients used, really enjoyed the Acai bowl and coconut milkshake. Plenty of parking in the Tesco carpark

I've recently been having trouble with insecurities with my hair line and was have been wearing my hood to hide it. As I was ordering my milkshake I was asked to remove my hood, I tried to let the worker know that I don't feel comfortable taking my hood of but he insisted and when I asked why he rudely replied because I said so. I have never dealt with such poor customer service in my life and ontop of this he purposely delayed my order as the person infront was told 5 min and I was told 15min. Would not recommend interacting with staff.

I recently visited a dessert shop and had the pleasure of being served by a lovely lady Saiqa. Her warm smile and excellent service made my experience truly delightful. The desserts were absolutely delicious, and the worker's attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm added an extra touch of joy to my visit. I highly recommend this shop for their exceptional service.

Hi, Why have you changed your packaging? Food was delivered in card bored boxes. I ordered cake and custard. Due to the cheap packaging that you use the custard went everywhere. What has happened to your previous packaging? The previous packaging was nice and posh and better. You literally served my food in a cardboard box. You should reduce the price to reflect this. Your prices are way to high. Definitely not value for money.

The best service always , and the best desserts in Birmingham, ( iv tried them all ) i have been coming since it first opened , and won't go anywhere else . From the cakes to the mojitos, to the milkshakes , perfection everytime , quality is key and theys do it perfectly. Now for me to tuck into my rainbow cake 🥰
