Delicious pizza and great service by Tegan. Would absolutely cone here again.

We used to have lovely pizzas in the quiet little pizza place. The staff music and the atmosphere was amazing, food was amazing. Unfortunately recently management has changed and the place is not worth the hassle. Cold and unwelcoming environment with strange choice of music. On the last visit today we were told that there is no coffee as coffee machine is off due to lack of customers… no tea either- kettle is probably on holidays… we don’t recommend it anymore. For the place with pizzas only not worth to freeze along with the food and drink.

We had our wedding dinner at Pi Pizza Poole, and it was perfect! Knowing how much we loved their food, we did not hesitate to book Pi Pizza, especially as we were after something a bit more informal. Since we got married at Poole Guildhall, being on the Quay was ideal, and the restaurant itself is full of character, beautifully decorated, with sea views. We were able to use the upstairs space, which made it feel even more private and special. The manager Erman was incredibly helpful and offered great suggestions on how to make the setup work. We went for a semi-seated arrangement, which suited our relaxed vibe. The food and service were outstanding. The staff worked tirelessly and truly went above and beyond to make our day memorable. The 20" pizzas with various toppings were all showstoppers - every time a new one came out, it got everyone excited. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious and impressive they were. If you’re looking for a relaxed, welcoming setting with exceptional food, Pi Pizza Poole is ideal. We’re looking forward to coming back soon for another great evening. Had a 20 inch three topping pizza between two, with a burrata on top. This was ever so slightly too much for two people, but we managed because it was delicious. The limoncello curd ice cream for dessert was also excellent. Service with a smile.

Best pizza dinner ever at Pi tonight: we screeched in late after a long day and fully expected to be turned away at 22:35. Instead we were given ungrudging hospitality, hands down the best pizzas in the South West and zero hovering. And some excellent wine. We left with our spirits and faith in human nature restored. PI is the type of place that deserves and rewards custom - if you're in or around Poole, try them.

Great food good value amazing pizzas!

Great food and service. Highly recommend the 20inch pizza. I managed to share this and still have some leftover. The pizza is good quality and is your typical Italian stone baked pizza. I’m sure I’ll be back at some point. Service was also great and it’s in a nice location too.

My son and I were trying to find some food late on a Friday night. We walked into this place (unknowingly) with only four minutes to go before it closed for the night. The manager/owner took us in, made some pizzas for us and welcomed us as regulars. We took our pizzas back to our hotel and discovered the pizzas were amazing. My son had the 12” San Daniele and I had the smoked ham hock. Delicious and generous portions! I will be back when I visit the UK again.

Eaten in here and it was very good. However take-out not so good, ordered a late night pizza at half 9 (because restaurant opening hours on google were till 11) and could still order online. Kitchen was shut by that time apparently but no where online says this, they agreed to make pizza anyway. Was expecting their ‘goats cheese’ to be a vegetarian pizza like previously in restaurant but this one had lots of ham over it so my veggie partner couldn’t eat any. Summary- Maybe an idea to change the names of the pizza to avoid veggie confusion. Also update opening hours on website and online ordering etc.

We popped here at the weekend to have a drink while the miniature steam festival was on and the service was dreadful. It took 20mins to even be acknowledged and given menus then a further 20mins to get an order placed. It looked lovely but really let down by the service.

Had gluten free base really good especially with half and half topping

We ate here twice as the pizzas were really tasty and there was a good atmosphere. We were fortunate to be able to sit outside. Efficient and friendly service by all staff; Jake very attentive and ensured we enjoyed our meals. Will return when next in Poole.

We found Pi by accident having just helped my daughter move into AUB. Wow, quite honestly the best Italian food I have tasted outside of Italy. Loved every dish, service was fantastic and not too pricey either. We will return!

Excellent pizza!! You would think a 20’’ pizza was a gimic and wouldn’t be cooked well. However all three we had were cooked perfectly so great to share with lots of different topping options that were all great quality. Definitely our new favourite!!!

I met the head pizza chef, he also worked until a few years ago in London, and being able to manage the dough here, I must say that I was amazed by the quality, freshness and novelty that he was able to bring to this menu . I tasted a pizza that left me truly surprised, satisfied and positively impressed, to make you understand the level of the beautiful surprise I had, just realize that I completely forgot to take pictures of the place, the staff and the environment in general to make you understand how nice this place is; in addition to the fact that this spectacular life is evidently the result of the work of a highly professional and capable person because, first of all it is not easy to manage a pizza with wholemeal flour, then it is not easy to know how to combine the pizza by adding a meat but keeping the final product always traditional, then honestly no matter how many pizzas I have tried, it was the first pizza with lamb made in a truly PROFESSIONAL way!!! I can't wait to return to this area to eat this product again and try other new things!!! Came here before fireworks at Poole quay, on holiday in Poole looking for somewhere to eat before the fireworks decided to go to pi pizza and it did not disappoint! We got served by Tegan, so lovely and polite with perfect service. The food was great would go again and recommend to a friend.

I went here with my kids 2 nights on the trot. The pizza is amazing, the setting is perfect and the staff were really friendly and attentive. Can highly recommend the spiced lamb pizza but even the margarita is absolutely delicious .

Me and the Mrs stopped here for lunch today. Both had a 12" pizza each and some drinks and really enjoyed them. Mrs found a curly hair in hers and I told her not to worry about it. It happens. Then she found a long black hair. We raised this with staff and never got an apology. Never got a discount. And was still charged a £5 service charge. I'm a local, not a tourist.....

The food took 90 minutes to arrive, and we were at no point informed of any issues until I enquired at around the hour mark. Other tables did leave as a result. This in itself somewhat ruined the experience for us, as we had a 6 week lively baby with us that compounded the issue. Within interactions, the front of house staff were very nice. Upon payment, it was unfortunate that the manager did not bring up the lateness of service, or offer anything, even an apology, as a result of this. Small but reasonable collection of beers, and a good wine list. The pizzas were tasty when they arrived. Good amount of toppings. Would recommend the Napoli Salami, as well as a simple Margarita.

Just had a fabulous meal at Pi and looked after extremely by Melis. Definitely recommend and will be back.

We went to have a late lunch we had some olives then a 12in pizza, we thought it was good idea you can choose 2 to 3 different kinds of flavours for the same price we enjoyed it very much, had a couple of beers afterwards we thought it was a reasonable price until i received the bill add service charge on top nearly £4. Which boose the price up. It a shame we would love to come in the evening meal but notice the wine list too expensive and with hidding cost this wouldn't be my first choice. Be honest to customers and pre warn them of hidden cost.

Absolutely brilliant pizza place. Lovely place to sit outside on a sunny day and friendly service. As vegetarian/vegans, the Poole sea front has A LOT of seafood, but not many suitable options for us. Pi offered to do a vegan or vegetarian variation of any of the pizzas on the menu and they were delicious! An independent business I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back

Lovely place, great decor. BUT far too long to get a welcome drink, menu, order. No greeting, just lacked a warm welcome. After sitting for 30 mins with no recognition, we went next door to da vincis which was buzzing. Summer is coming....I think you need to get your act together

What can I say?! A beautiful little, cosy, traditional Italian pizzeria. The atmosphere was cosy and warm, and so welcoming by all of the staff. We booked for 730 on a Saturday night and we were seated straight away at a little corner table. The smells as you walked in really give you a true taste of a small town in Italy, wood smoke and tomatoes with a hint of prosciutto! The service was impeccable, with Charlotte the young waitress being very attentive, warm and friendly! She obviously knows her menu inside out and made some great recommendations for us! The pizza itself was HUGE at 20” which fed both of us to a comfortable point, however don’t let the size put you off - it was cooked beautifully by the Italian chefs. We both agreed that it was the BEST pizza we’d ever had - and having travelled Italy extensively I’m absolutely sure on this one! Cocktails were the perfect end to a perfect evening! Fresh and zingy and all prepared from scratch, the bartender has a real talent and flair for flavours. Pi, you were an absolute pleasure and an unsung gem on the Poole harbour side!

Amazing Italian Pizza, I have not found anything tasting this good anywhere else in the UK. I have been here numerous times and cannot get over the spiced lamb pizza! We love the ability to have different toppings on 2 halves of a pizza, so we can try new flavours.

I was in Poole last weekend and happened to pop in to your restaurant. It was a lovely sunny afternoon and we sat outside. The pizzas were fantastic but what really stood out was the service. Every member of the team who visited our table was charming and helpful. Everything we ordered arrived very promptly and someone always seemed available when required….and every table was full. Both my wife and I work in hospitality so we love sitting watching a really well run restaurant… we also know how much hard work it takes to deliver great food and service. Our good experience was playing out on all the tables around us. In our industry people rush to their keyboards to say something negative but somehow forget to praise a great experience so WELL DONE from us. Our Pi Pizza afternoon was a real highlight of our Poole visit. When we return we shall definitely visit you again!

20" pizza!! (And 12") Delicious, freshly made pizzas using lovely ingredients. Even the margarita was nice; not dry, really tasty. Bases were delicious and you must get the aioli to dip the crusts into!!

Pi restaurant hosted my 60th birthday event. The atmosphere and food were great, nothing was too much trouble. The service was excellent and the staff worked tirelessly to ensure the event was smooth running. What I like about Pi is the unique flavour toppings to the pizzas. I highly recommend.

We held our 5th business birthday bash at Pi Pizza, hiring the top floor of the restaurant. The venue and the team were amazing - the pizza was of course - EPIC. Lots if compliments from our clients. Thanks to Erman for being so accommodating and really going over and above. Highly recommend, a hidden gem in Poole!
