We dined in and had Yang Chow Fried Rice, Fried chicken with green pepper, and Chicken sweet corn soup. The dishes are of authentic Hong Kong style particularly the fried rice. The fried chicken with green pepper has more onion and sauce than that in Hong Kong. Food was hot and delicious😋. The price is very reasonable. The boss and his family are cheerful and friendly.

This is the only Chinese we use. The food is so fresh and always really hot. Very good value for money. Absolutely love the Mushroom Fried rice, pancake rolls. Salt and pepper chicken. Chicken chowmein. Beef curry. The list goes on and on

Worst food I’ve ever ordered! Cold reheated chips brown in colour, cold reheated salt a pepper chicken freezing in the middle, curry like an oil spill in the Atlantic! Rice cold, brown and funny tasting! Would have been better spending £40 on Tesco value microwaveable meals!! Awful! I don’t write reviews but this needed one!!

Mini spring rolls was cold in the middle & the salt n pepper chips was not salt n pepper chips had no flavour at all. Peas was rock solid in the rice it was just awful! Tried calling them to complain and get my money back but no answer I’m disgusted £33 wasted

This place was absolutely terrible I had a chicken curry and it was like water on a plate and no flavour to the sauce, chicken was rock solid my dog couldn't even bite it and the chicken balls had very sticky batter and the chicken was again rock solid we also had chips, they were ok but cold and overall big lumps of potato Never again will I have anything from there, absolutely vile waste of £30, I've never had anything so bad

Always our go to in St Thomas. Lovely freshly cooked food served hot, served from a lovely family. Would recommend! FYI they only take cash and orders over the phone.

AVOID Just got chowmein from her wasn’t nice at all. Tasteless, the sauce was in a tub not mixed in the food.the meat was disgusting and chicken was grey,won’t be returning. Absolutely vile do not go here!!!! I feel terrible after eating here so does my partner we have food poisoning.Had to chuck most of it away Just got off the phone to the woman she’s screaming down the phone telling me to go hospital.Terrible customer service very abusive staff and in denial that the food is terrible and disgusting avoid!! Cash only aswell I wonder why!!!!

Update- my friends have advised me recently, after the two latest takeaways, they believe the place has changed their meat supplier as it is no longer as good as it has been, and they would know. Very sad not to be going back again. My friends are regulars from years and I have had several. Big portions, never feel overcharged and quick service. 7 days a week so ways there too! Friendly service a bonus as they are really hard working people.

The best Chinese restaurant ever in Exeter! Nice staff and delicious foods!!! The main point is the price are very reasonable, very cheap and value for money. Must visit once per week!

Really bad food I asked for extra hot didn’t happen. Charmaine was disgusting no veg jus noodles with a lot of mushrooms. Really bad service never again eating from there. Ask for a refund of to deal with it they just kept cutting me off

The food is very tasty at a low price and big portions. I have never been disappointed with any of the dishes. I highly recommend this place.

absolutely vile, ordered my food from here all my food was under cooked, chips was like rubber like they’d been sat there for days, chicken wasn’t cooked, when i complained they said come get a refund, come to get my refund she then got screamed at in my face and asked where the food was, i told her i had chucked it in the bin she then refused me the refund. awful service and everything. do not order from this place !!!!

Great place for take away, fast service and great food. I always take few starters like seaweed and wuntun? (Not sure the spelling 😅) and change the main dish to try different options. Nice chicken with lemon or cashews, duck with plum or the Phoenix special but hey, it's just my opinion!! 😋🤪😉

Average Chinese ordered a takeaway here by accident. Only had chicken chow mein, chicken balls and curry sauce for me which was nice. Battered sausage and chips for the other half. Unfortunately the chips were not so good.

ordered a vegetable curry and when I opened it I found four long hairs in it.

Good food and fair prices. The veggie omelette and chips is very nice (for a change from the usual Chinese food). All in all a good place and friendly. Note - they only take cash which is why I've rated it 4 stars.

Small family business does a great job. We had a impromptu dinner party for 35 people, and asked them to cook the food. The food was ready at the set time, plenty of it, was and excellent. The place looks a bit tacky, but don't be alarmed.

It is the only Chinese takeaway in Exeter that get full score of 5 on food hygiene rating. The chef is an experienced cook from Hong Kong. The chicken curry is legendary, love the egg fried rice and fried banana dessert. It opens everyday

Disgusting. Couldn't smell or hear anything cooking but somehow they managed to burn it to buggery!! Extraordinary!!
