Absolutely awful pub, the boy behind the bar is the rudest person i have ever met, he was so unwelcoming and stuck up, i would not recommend to anyone.

Pie was amazing- Mash was better now less pepper being used although slightly lumpy ( I don’t mind this though) - liquor could do with being thicker. Overall great grub 👍🏻

not to happy only one pie was sent the mash is lumpy under cooked however liquor and pie was OK when it came my sister turned up for visit so I left in the bag in my microwave soon as my sister left I opened bag to see only one pie one mash I ordered 2 pies n mash so expect refund for 1 pie

We had pie mash and liquor, the delivery was on time, the pies were lovely, proper tasty, however the mash was over lumpy and not seasoned enough and the liquor wasn’t thick like the traditional liquor and it had a bit of a different taste, still not bad for the price, won’t order again 🙁

Absolutely delicious seriously great pie and mash and worth every penny ! ! ! Better than Covs as I have had pie and mash from them and have to admit it was bland. I usually order from Manze online and have to say well done 👍 to pie and mash from Phoenix pub as it’s on par with them and really recommend them x

Had a pie mash n liquor dinner for three people. Absolutely lovely, the mash is now creamier, I prefer a bit more lumpy like my Nan made but I get others don’t. The liquor could be a tinier bit thicker if Im being very critical but as a complete dinner absolutely cracking. Thanks Andy.

The chair I was sitting on was soaking wet. I've got a bad feeling I was sitting in dog wee from the pub dog. Had soaking wet jeans. Disgusting.

The hawaiian burger & curly fries were superb

A quick phone call told me there was no chicken to complete my order but a free dessert plus cream was offered. The burger was hit as were the curly fries. Will definitely reorder. Very impressed.

This is a great pub with a good warm atmosphere, I had been told many times that the value for money food served, is without doubt a win win at £7.50 for two courses ...main and dessert, all of which is home made by Andy the landlord. I gathered some friends up today and without any fuss booked us in. We had an "excellent sunday roast dinner" which consisted of 3 meats, roast potatoes, carrots, green beans, really cheesy creamy cauliflower cheese, 2 yorkshire puds, stuffing, gravy. Andy is naturally welcoming and friendly and provided us with a really personal service, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout the sitting, the Lemon Tart and freash cream was super delicious and really finished off the afternoon. Its easy to say that Andy and his wife who run the pub really care and make the whole experience memorable. Thank you again Andy......see you very soon. Loo

Good friendly basic pub. Range of draught lagers, two draught ales, one of which is Guinness. Reasonable prices. Harlow pub's are named after butterflies or moths, this one's a moth. Sky sports

It's really run down now, and drinks aren't that cheap, however they have good entertainment

Under new management looks good friendly bar staff child friendly i had no cash or change only had my card to pay the manager was givng my child free games off pool as i only had my card

What a lovely crowd of people up singing and dancing all night. Mixed age group and extremely welcoming. Would 100% come back !

Good place for a drink but could be more organised,staff asking which pump was which and lost track of what we ordered.

Old fashion pub, but steel not too bad place

Surprising range of beer's, spirits and softs. Friendly staff and the occasional karaoke night. Dont forget the back room and good sized garden.

Wouldn't know not been in there for years. Not since my husband died.😑 Use to go in alot before, still know a lot of people that go in though.
