Costa Coffee in Harlow

I swiped the app to get the reduction on my "treat drop" but was told that the item I had selected was not available in the deal. I was given a cheaper item and then charged full price for it, which I didn't notice at the time. Totally disgusted as there's nothing in the Ts&Cs to confirm this, I asked to speak to the manager and was told that the manager was on holiday and there was effectively no single person in charge of what is a large and very busy outlet. I was given a replacement receipt as mine was wet and torn and advised to call the phone number on the bottom of the receipt, a number that doesn't exist(!). I attempted to call their head office on the generic number on their website only to find that it is no longer in use. All in all, I am disgusted at the way I was treated and shocked that such a busy outlet is run in such a haphazard way. I have been a customer of Costa Coffee for many years, but not for much longer based on this experience, or at least not this branch.

Good selection of hot and cold beverages. They also have new fruity smoothies for the summer. Good selection of hot food. We always go for the toasties and mac n cheese. They will gladly heat it up for you.

How dare an establishment such as Costa coffee send out cold stale food to its customers. Absolutely disgusting service. Have some pride!

costa, only got half the order. money back but not much good when only one person eating get their lunch! waste of paying delivery fee!

Magda and the team are always friendly. I go in everyday before work and they are kind, consistent and great at making coffee!

Came in today and was served with a great service from the members of staff and i was served with an amazing oat flat white that tasted amazing. Definitely recommend for a quick takeaway or even a sit in as there is plenty of space.

They didn’t put the lid on my coffee properly and by the time it made it to my door, it was all over my hallway floor and half my coffee was gone. I’d like a refund on the coffee please. I have a video of the bag leaking but had to clean the hallway asap as people would’ve slipped

Order was missing items this is not the first time this has happened and puts me off using this delivery with Costa. Also gonna raise with the Costa coffee branch at Harlow retail not reading the orders correctly very poor service.

I spent £63 on costa delivery as my car died. It came withn 45 mins which is good for the size of the order. But to have 2 meals missing is sooo disappointing. No way of contacting delivery driver who was probably just round the corner. So now mum abd dad are hungry, and have to request refund abd wait days for it to happen. The food and divide we got are very good and tge delivery driver was very nice but im not happy with the missing food which is probably in his car 😭.

I love this place, biscotti cheesecake so delicious but service cancelled be slow including table clearance.

The best Costa I've been to. I go here on a regular basis and the staff go above and beyond. The service is excellent, environment is fantastic and they constantly keep the tables clean and ready for the next customer.

Overall, my experience at Costa was disappointing. While the food quality deserves a modest three-star rating, the service was abysmal. The atmosphere was lackluster, earning only a two-star rating, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. The seats were notably dirty, making the dining experience rather unpleasant.

I called in on my way back from an art supplies shop. Amazing smoked salmon begal. The lady serving me was most helpful. Nice and clean with plenty of seating.

My request was followed for food to be hot and toastie not under or over cooked. Mind think Costa need to increase slice size of cakes charging such amounts for such a tiny slice is disgraceful. They will be like the pub they carry on they will price themselves out of business eventually.

Yet again a good quality delivery but without sugars. Coffee without sugar is undrinkable. The odd time I would ignore, but 3 times consecutive.....I will get a refund.

Love the coffee and the friendly barista! We enjoyed sitting here. This place is pretty big and clean. The staff was nice. They have toilets inside. We had a Mango double frappe and a salted caramel frappe. The drinks were excellent, well made and tasty.

I had a wonderful experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The coffee was exceptional, and the cozy ambiance added to the overall charm of the place. I'll definitely be returning for more caffeine and smiles!

Sept 2023 Front entrance doors are very dirty. So too were the floors. Slow service yet again. More urgency needed. Nice location with plenty of parking. April 2023 Yet another visit and still much the same. Poor, slow service at the counter. Pastries heated up way before drinks were made resulting in cooling down and crumbling into bits. The store is way too dirty for a Monday morning following a weekend. It should be clean and ready to go for the new week. Several tables not cleared away. Floors grubby. A team member washed her hands and then proceeded to take her hair out, redo it up and then went on to make drinks and serve. Such a great, open, spacious store but terribly let down. Better organisation needed. Previously. Lazy service by Dan, messy tables, no communication between staff. Manager left halfway through making our drinks to go to the toilet! Sure enough they took our money very quickly. Poor.

Delivery driver made me open his boot to get my food which was not secured rolling around in the back!

You need to check orders before they are handed to drivers.... Receiving 2 freezing cold coffees instead of hot food, cakes and a flat white.. Was very disappointing.

Xlent food. But I will not pay for the coffee. Forcing every flat white to have 'ultimate blend' milk is madness.... Your AP has glitched. (or more likely human error has set wrong) I used to get xlent coffee here...... Shame

I love this place, great selection of food and snacks and the best coffee you can get delivered. If only they would stop tipping the pasta on it's side so it fits in the bag!

Was very busy had a long wait but they where trying staff so acceptable and the coffee was still great and handy after a trip to the near by B&M

Seriously understaffed.only 3 member on today, felt sorry for staff.. Extremely busy. Tables dirty, dirty glasses and plates everywhere. No clean tables and waited over 10 min for my order.

I have only been there once on quiet Monday morning it was nice. It’s a big store, got some friendly staff, and place seemed cosy & clean.

Costa Coffee within Tesco in Harlow, Edinburg Way. Waited a fair while to get served. But once served, service was quick and efficient. Good seating area. Tea pot was filled only half way with hot water. Could have done will filling it up more. Muffin was good. Would come back.

Shocking. Always waiting for coffee when toastie has been sitting there for ages getting cold. Staff have no coordination whatsoever. And getting called “mate” by staff is really annoying.

Food was delicious as always. Only thing downside is that I ordered a sausage bap and received a bacon one instead but nothing major

This place really needs a more staff. Today I waited so long only for my hot chocolate and it was not crowded as compared to others outlets of Costa. It was only because of shortage of staff, there was only two ladies were serving. They were taking too much time for taking orders and delivering orders.

Ordered 3 drinks and 3 cakes. Receive 1 drink and nothing else. When speaking to the driver we were just told to "call the restaurant". There is no number for the store, only a general customer service line, that's closed because it's the weekend

Ordered 2 drinks and 2 toasties at 12:55, driver was assigned 25 minutes later but didn't arrive to the Costa until 2:07! Driver arrived to the flat quick but the coffee was cold and the food was cold!! AND they gave us the wrong cheese toasty again!! Ridiculous!!

Twenty five minutes queuing to get served, not very busy but most tables still had previous occupants trays and cutlery on them.

Staff friendly Although need someone in the ball to clear tables more effectively as seems continuously busy here, it's like spot the clear table. Cake was bit hard in places where its not covered.

Cake was good that was under a cover. Staff weren't professional they were touching their faces playing with their hair not really paying attention to their job. One was wearing a bracelet that was then touching the food aswell. Flys were all over the uncovered food and no one seemed to care.

Missing the chocolate flake that was paid for in the order. Missing any form of heat as drinks arrived luke warm if that. I could have grown the coffee beans, dried and ground then faster in the time it took to deliver...50 minutes for a coffee and hot chocolate is rediculous! Not quite sure why I use just eat!!

My girlfriend is vegan so we ordered 2 vegan sausage baps and 2 sausage meat baps, none of them were marked or labelled we have no idea which ones are vegan so we cant risk eating them. Really poor from the restaurant

If you don’t have items then refund the whole order, I don’t want to pay a delivery fee for half my order.

This time got what I ordered YAY!

If you have food allergies don’t bother just watch one person start To pick up something which contained nuts then put it back and pick up something that doesn’t contain nuts. Seriously bad cross contamination.
