Pho Saigon in Ealing

Food was really bad, I had a few bites of my dish and had to stop eating! The person I ate with was the same and we had different dishes. I would avoid!

I have been here twice, within the last 2 weeks. The food, service and staff are amazing. Great selection and great prices. I definitely recommend this place.

I was swayed by the reviews to go to this restaurant. Since we are planning to visit Vietnam in February we thought it would be a good idea to get a taste for the food before we fly off. The Pho was really not good at all. We had visited Pho King in Amsterdam and the Pho over there was extremely well made. Couldn't fault it even if I wanted to. The flavours were so good. Overall, Pho Saigon was very disappointing. It takes a lot of skill to make bad Pho, but they did it with no problem! Even the summer rolls were rubbery and had no flavour. Nothing tasted authentic. It seemed that the stuff was bought from a Oriental supermarket and then just heated up and served to us. I started having doubts about the Vietnamese cuisine after eating here. However we have been assured by our friends that food in Vietnam is really good. Hope Pho Saigon take it in right spirit and improve their food offerings.

Our first visit to this restaurant and we were impressed by our starters of spring rolls and chicken satay. But the mains were disappointing. The fried noodles were very oil, and the beef pho, while nicely and delicately flavoured, was too heavy on the noodles (I couldn't finish them) and too light on other ingredients. Despite the friendly service and reasonable prices I don't think we'll be back for dinner again, although we might visit for lunch to sample a selection of starters

A group of 8. We pre-booked. We all really enjoyed the food! Beautifully presented, prompt service, even though it was a busy Saturday night. The proprietor does her utmost to ensure that you have a good evening! We took some wine, but there are drinks on the menu. An excellent evening- and very reasonable!

I have been to a handful of vietnamese resturants in the UK and had a fair few in Vietnam so trust me if I tell you what good Vietnamese food taste like. We are disappointed. The rare and brisket pho I had was disappointing. The pho was overcooked, the soup lacked flavour, and there were five tiny pieces of beef, which can all join up to make ONE medium piece of beef. We ordered other dishes as well and the portion and taste were similarly disappointing. Adding to that, the service was underwhelming. It's no coincidence that at peak hours in the weekend, this place is barely half filled. There are better Vietnamese restaurants to eat in Ealing and London.

I have been coming to this restaurant on and off for over 5 years. The quality of the food is still excellent and great service. Fully recommend, even with all the variety in Ealing Broadway they are amazing

Ordered 3 starters. All tasty but in small portion. I had the King prawn pho. Perhaps for cost saving they cut the prawns into half so as to look like more prawns on the pho. Beef fried rice is good but oily. The spicy noodles was too soft. Overall it’s ok.

Came for the first time yesterday, and as a viet myself the food tastes authentic to the region . Was so good my partner and I decided to visit again today . Really good spot for viet food and great value for money . Very welcoming and always greeted with a smile . Spring rolls looked to good and we munched it all up before the picture 😋

The chicken fried rice was not nice was salty and they don’t mix the egg very well I aske about refund they don’t answer me at all I will never order again

Comida vietnamita muy sabrosa. Tuvimos el menú del almuerzo - el mejor tofu de sal y pimienta y buen rollo de primavera de cerdo. El Pho era excelente - tenía la carne rara que era tierna y servida con caldo sabroso y fideos al dente. Mejor que la cadena de restaurantes Pho en mi opinión!

Very authentic, good price (2 starter, 2 main and beer less than £50) and very tasty. Definitely come back. Revisited in Jun 2024 for Sunday lunch. The food is fantastic and the service is great. We ordered 3 starters and 1 main noodle, it was enough for 2 people to share. They don't have parking but you can park on the road for free on weekends.

Delicious Vietnamese food that’s very well priced! They do an all day 3 course menu which cost £19.90! Portions were amazing! The sides were authentic and delicious - had the pork spring rolls, chicken satay and mango salad with prawns, all of which I would recommend! The mains were all decently portioned! The banana fritters was a pleasant end to the meal!

As a lover of Vietnamese cuisine, I was excited to try Pho Saigon in Ealing. However, my experience left much to be desired. I ordered the grilled chicken with rice, only to find it drowned in an overwhelming amount of oyster hoisin sauce. This departure from authentic Vietnamese flavors was disappointing. Adding to the disappointment, I noticed the owner speaking Cantonese, indicating a lack of Vietnamese authenticity. The atmosphere was dull, lacking the vibrant energy one expects from a Vietnamese eatery. Moreover, the uninviting and grumpy demeanor of the Indian and Chinese waitresses further detracted from the dining experience. Overall, Pho Saigon failed to deliver authentic Vietnamese cuisine and fell short in terms of atmosphere and service. I cannot recommend this restaurant to others seeking genuine Vietnamese flavours.

Lovely place, nice service, delicious food. Size of foods are nicely counted. There was no price on the food menu,it was a bit unusual. A ceramic spatula would be nicer than the wooden ones.

I went with my sister who lives Vietnam and has an adopted Vietnamese daughter. I have travelled in Vietnam with them. The food at Pho Saigon was as good as I had in Vietnam. The location is great - easy to find but not noisy. The service was efficient and friendly. My niece was with us and the staff were patient and friendly. Highly recommended.

It was tasty but nothing out of this world. It's still good, though.

Tried the pho with beef and the portion was very good and tasty.

I ordered the steak and brisket pho, it came with 3 small pieces of meat and a lot of noodles. The broth was tasteless. For £14 I expected more. If your want expensive noodles, this is the place for you.

I was really looking forward to this, and it was worth going for the Banh Xeo, but the chicken was a little dry. Other dishes were lacking flavour sadly. Great service and atmosphere though.

We dropped in at Pho Saigon last night and had a wonderful takeaway. The food was typical Vietnamese, light, fresh (in the sense of flavour and beautifully cooked. The service was swift but not pressured and the takeaway was parcelled neatly and securely. We will return...

Mediocare food, atmosphere is too quiet and feels a bit eery. Service is not inviting but adequate. Price is not worth it

I ate at Pho Saigon with three colleagues mid week while staying at a nearby hotel. The restaurant was very quiet with only a couple of tables occupied. We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table. Restaurant was well presented and décor gave a nice calm atmosphere After we were given menus a drinks order was taken and served quickly. This was my first venture into a Vietnamese restaurant, but given similarity to Thai and Malay dishes was easy to choose starters and mains. Staters arrived in short order and my crispy squid was excellent. Main course of sizzling beef and egg fried rice was very good. Vegetables had just the right amount of bite Portions were generous and service was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our meal which was excellent value though bottle beers were on the expensive side. The restaurant automatically adds 10% service charge. Overall with drinks and service charges the bill came to £35 per head. An enjoyable experience and I would certainly revisit if in the area.

the looks of the restaurant might mislead you as it looks quite humble but the food is suuuper tasty and amazing and staff are extra nice !

Their summer rolls are the best, filled with fresh veg, tofu and salad. The sauce that comes with it is so tasty!

Absolutely fantastic food the chilli salt & pepper squid & golden pancake with chicken & prawn for starters were lovely. The mains of sizzling beef & chicken with flat noodles were equally as nice. Service was good & everything was very clean. We will definitely be returning it’s just a shame we are not living in Ealing as I’d be in here every week. One little thing that could be improved is the plastic chopsticks as they get quite slippery especially if your not that great with them in the first place🤣 wooden ones would be better. I’m looking forward to trying the rest of the menu as I’m sure I will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work!

The weather isn’t stable so I order the pho and dine at home. It is easy to reach to and service was great. I order a spicy pho and a salad pho with a pork spring roll. Reasonable price with acceptable taste. Improvement: For the soup pho, they should provide a larger portion. Anyway it was great.

Please come if you have a lot of money and don’t mind they fooling you. I’d like to say it’s in general average experience I got for Vietnamese food. However, I think the restaurant is pretty good at fooling customers. For example, I ordered prawn Pho and it cost me £13.5. I couldn’t believe my eyes when seeing they give half prawn in my noodle. It’s totally sneaky restaurant I have ever come across.

Really good quality food, all freshly made. For starters there are several amazing dishes: Vietnamese spring roll ('Summer roll'), Chilli salt and pepper chicken, grilled chicken satay. The salads are great too For mains I recommend the flat rice noodles with beef, that's my fave dish. The Pho soup is good too + vermicelli noodles.

Great uncomplicated and welcoming place for locals and the hungry tourist from the Hotel across the street. The madame was super friendly and cheerful. You control the spice level you are comfortable with yourself (by using the sauce bottles on the table and the fresh spices you get on the side).

Food was good but service staff was rude. Lunch set menu did not state price so I asked her and she answered brusquely that it's stated outside then rattled off some numbers like a machine gun. There were no other customers when we were there for lunch at 12 noon, would it really hurt to speak with some manners?

I had Vietnamese food for the first time, and it was excellent. The employees was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Without a doubt, my entire family and I would return.

It’s one place after I have entered I walked off I have never ever seen or even imagined after 8 years of working in hospitality industry in leading hotels globally the kind of costumer services I faced in this restaurant. the restaurants was close ( the door locked from inside) and having a display sign saying on Sunday opening time, while it should be open the door was close! , then the lady opened the door I said hi he respond ( how can I help) with very bad attitude I couldn’t say anything apart of no need for any help and walked off 🧐

Place was clean but the atmosphere wasn’t great. Staff was sufficient but not inviting. A Vietnamese rice dish with pork cuts - I’ve never seen pure oyster sauce poured over, while the meat was marinated ok, it was a bit burned. Rice smelt a bit off? Vegetables weren’t there at all. Pho soup tasted like those instant ones. A lot of MSG in food. Wooden spoon was dirty. It needs improvement on the way dishes are cooked.

The food was ok for me, however the service really needed to be improved. I understand sometimes the restaurant can be very busy but at least don’t forget what the customers ordered and I have to chase the staffs twice to ask where is my order.

I was very disappointed with the rare beef pho. The broth was alright although I’ve had better , the worse was when I saw those tiny thin slices of beef sitting on top of the rice noodles. Paying £12 for that is a rip off. I really felt that the portion was small, I don’t think this would be the quantity you would be served if you were eating-in. No cutlery (fair enough) but no napkins either.

13£ for the squid which is too expensive. This is not Vietnamese restaurant this is Chinese restaurant. I bought for take away, but I got no chopstick or spoon, forlk or tissues. I wrote this as I am a Vietnamese and want to enjoy Vietnamese food not Chinese food Total 25£ for 2 dishes is not too expensive but it is not authentic. Why you are ruining Vietnamese food ? If gg let me review 0 star. I would have done it

Really enjoyed our visit to Pho Saigon. Since moving here from the Vietnamese food Mecca of the Texas Gulf Coast we have been trying to find something which came close to our memories. This was the best so far in UK we have tried. Pho was very good, but as usual not enough herbs. Partner loved the char grilled pork vermicelli bun bowl and I agreed. Very friendly staff in a nice restaurant. Decent wine, cold Singha, tasty food. Really recommend totally scratched an itch.

An amazing Vietnamese restaurant - cosy setting, authentic food and fair price! Highly recommend if you are near Ealing Broadway. I came here for a late lunch on Sunday. It was an impromptu visit to the area, so I walked in without booking. Luckily the restaurant was quiet - 1/3 full around 3pm on Sunday. I ordered a summer roll with tofu (their sesame sauce was amazing!!), a spicy pho with vermicelli noodles and an iced coffee. The food was one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I had in London and in the Uk. The price was also fair, with everything coming out as £24 including service. Will come back again!!

I have been coming here for years since they first opened. It one of our favourite spots for lunch. I normally get the chicken or veg pho and i have never been disappointed. Better than chain restaurants.

Just had dinner here. The food is really good and genuine. The staff are very friendly. Hence, service is good. Located within walking distance of Ealing Broadway station.
