As always, food and service was excellent at our last visit

This place never disappoints when it comes to food. Really authentic and the service is great.

Booked a table for 7 o'clock, arrived at 655 a couple in front of me came in and asked if they could have a table as they haven't booked and got a table, I was then told I would have to wait as they had no tables free, so it was obvious that they give our table away to customers who walked in, absolutely disgraceful. It was our daughters birthday, thankfully we went across the road and got a table a marcello and had a wonderful meal. Beware bookings mean nothing at phi Thai, not even an apology

Good place in a great location with different experiences but the food experience was bad I’ve ordered soup Tum Yum and got it cold. The food quantity was very small and not very delicious it’s okay.

Phi Thai offers fantastic food bursting with amazing flavors and spices. The portions provide good value, making it a satisfying dining experience. Coupled with friendly service, Phi Thai stands out as a great place to enjoy delicious Thai cuisine. I'd especially recommend the Pad Thai, Cashew nut stirfry and Chicken satay.

If you want delicious fresh food this is the place to come! The soft shell crabs were a lovely starter and the holy basil & chilli sauce dish was fantastic! But not for those who can't handle chilli it was hot but also just right.

Was sat in other room not main restaurant part only people in there bit cold and waitress was passing hot foid over the bench over a young child’s head an accident waiting to happen instead of bringing food around to the table food was very tasty

Owner suggested the Holy basil stir fry with seafood. Unreal. Cooked beautifully and toned it down spice wise as I'm a korma person... Will 100% be back. Superb, quick service.

The menu descriptions didn't match the actual dishes, different or missing ingredients, Secondly, waitress was unaware of the menu details. I asked a few questions, but reply was “I don’t know”. I asked if the pork in a dish was minced or in pieces, but the server gave me the wrong information due to lack of any knowledge about dishes. This made it hard to know what to expect from the dishes. On the end there was a billing error, been handed bill for £65 instead of £35.90. I was hoping for a more authentic experience, especially with the kitchen staff appearing to be Thai. Only enjoyed cold Coca-cola during this visit.

Went here for a meal to Phi on the spare if the moment and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was good and we weren't rushed between courses. We went for the 2 course early evening menu, which was cooked fresh, hot and very tasty. We will definitely go again.

The best hot and sour soup ever and yes, the restaurant is Thai.

Firstly... we ordered from the take away menu and according to our maths, the bill should have come to £29, however, when we collected we where charged quite a bit more, £35. Secondly... ALL of the food we had ordered was absolutely tasteless, the starters and both main meals, where disgusting and in fact, ended up the bin. 100% definitely not Thai-food as we are used to, it was our first time using this excuse of a Thai-restaurant and most definitely the last time we would ever use it! If you genuinely like Thai food, DO NOT go here, as you will be as disappointed as we where... You have been warned!

Not great to be honest. The early bird menu poor. Main meal tasted ok but fishcake starter awful.

PHI Thai restaurant by my home. I go there when I not cooking or lazy All the foods from Sura Chef very nice and do more very spicy and delicious for me too. Staffs is friendly and good service I will go back there again and again Thank you Kitty

I went there with my family and some friends....all I can say is that the food I had was amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a taste of Thailand....five star food in a friendly atmosphere

Great visit to Phi Thai , beautiful restaurant interior with creative art work and a homely atmosphere. The staff were excellent going out of their way to ensure the customer had a great experience. Food was very good , I requested very spicy (as always) and they certainly delivered . Very deep flavours , however I do question if MSG is used . Excellent diverse menu with plenty of options from all over Thailand . Price was fair and I highly recommend for anyone wanting to try some great Thai food .

After being to Thailand and making my own Thai food... I would not revisit Phi. Far too much MSG and palm sugar in all the food. Left my mouth overly dry and a film in my mouth... Not a good sign!!!

Food was lovely. Staff are really nice and very helpful. They recommended dishes (when asked for advice) which were delicious. The restaurant is small but clean and had a nice atmosphere.

Always lovely food here, friendly staff, I get mostly take aways, and never been disappointed.

Looking at the star rating I was hoping for good food, so ordered a takeaway. I’d say the food taste more Chinese than Thai. Also lacks flavour in the dishes. I had chicken pad Thai, cashew king prawn. Which both tasted bland. We also ordered crispy shredded chicken and special fried rice which was better. After having the meal, got my head scratching with such good reviews. May be because it was take away. I’d probably try again visiting the restaurant for meal to see if it’s any better.

Cannot comment on the food. Booked a table for 2 for a Friday night, turned up and where shown to a 'table' at the back. This table was basically the pass from the kitchen and under the bar with a single chair. This certainly wasn't a table more like the area they keep the cutlery that had been tidied up and a chair placed to make a table. What do they want me to do pass the food to the waitress everytime the bell dinged? I questioned it and asked for a different table but was told it was the only one. Why not just tell me there wasn't a table avaliable and we wouldn't have come? Place is tiny and everyone on top of another.

Had my son's 21st birthday meal here , from booking the meal for 20 people on phone the lady who took the order was so helpful . Then the meal was amazing same as the service. Nothing wasn't to much to ask for . We had a great time we will definitely be back. I would recommend Phi Thai excellent restaurant

Ordered a take away online, to collect during lockdown. Very good, we really enjoyed it. Very friendly when I collected. I mentioned I enjoyed the hot curries, they said just let us know we can really spice them up for you 🌶️😁 Nice place 👍

Absolutely beautiful food. Excellent choice on the menu. Brilliant staff, very friendly and made us feel welcome. We were a party of 7 so varied choices from the menu, but all the courses arrived together and were piping hot. Nobody left waiting. Seriously not just the best Thai food I've had, but simply just some of the best food. Can't wait to go back, really enjoyed it.

It is good at this place and my family was enjoy it, I older with chicken spicywith hot soup, very hot but I like it.

Found a hair on my plate when I complained was told by the manageress that the plate was clean when she put it down, when I pointed out the the hair was black and mine is blonde she said she couldn’t tell. She gave me a rip off Bailey as compensation and still charged full price for the meal even though I only ate a small bit of it .

Disappointing, the website of this place indicates that it is quite a high class restaurant (with prices to match) however, when we got there the place itself is quite dark and small. The food was distinctly average (tasted similar to something you could get from a takeaway for a fraction of the price) and the service wasn’t great (the staff member who served us told us she was brand new and yet was on her own). Overall quite disappointing, especially for what we paid.

THE starters where cold and the red Thai curry was like water

I thought the premises could be a lot cleaner, I did not like the way the takeaway drivers hang out at the kitchen and reception whilst your having a meal. Some of the staff could wear more professional clothing, I noticed one delivery driver eating then licking his fingers then handling people's food for delivery. Most chefs did wear hats in the kitchen. Just did not get that sense of cleanness you want from a restaurant, sorry I do have a bit of OCD. The food was good though, just improvements to be made in my opinion as a critic as I once worked in a kitchen.

Food was tasty and hot. Lighting at our table was poor... we couldn't wait for the heater lamps in the kitchen to come on! Expensive but tasty. Will go back.

Quick lunch on a week day. Had a quarter of duck and two pad thais. The pad thais were top quality and very tasty. However the duck came pre shredded and with a few fat bits. The staff was friendly and very attentive.
