Peri Peri Original in Luton

Order your food an hour early if you can and on arrival your fries will be cooked so they are fresh. Best items are chicken with other items not being great e.g. burgers. Cash only Attitude of the staff is one of indifference and don't value the customer - probably have more than they need!

I was told to F**K OFF when they got the order wrong over the phone - disgusting, disrespectful attitude.

I have been a regular here for a few years now. I always order by phone in advance, they get very busy! Their food is always really tasty and their service is normally really fast, considering how busy they get! The shop is clearly always kept very clean, unlike some other Peri Peri places in Luton (no names mentioned). I prefer this place over Nandos Peri Peri chicken. Free car parking is available at the Co-op opposite, which has a free to use cash machine. The shop only accepts cash. Price of their food is relatively competitive compared to other Peri Peri shops across Luton.

I have used this place many times over the years and without a doubt you can’t get better. When it comes to quality, tasty food you will not taste better. The service, staff, even when it’s busy does not fail you. I have eaten in a lot of places and the only thing I would say about this place is that it’s highly addictive. There may be a lot of these peri peri shops in Luton but without a doubt this is the best along with red roosters on marsh road. Keep flipping those chickens guys, bloody awesome!!

This is my favourite chicken shop. I have never had a bad experience here. They are excellent I hope they stay open forever. The best is getting the 10 spicy wings for so cheap! And they always taste consistent and amazing. They have set a new bar for fast food!

Local fast food eating in & takeway. Atmosphere is mixed with young people to family. 2 floor seating. Ordered peri peri burger meal with 4 hotwings. Burger was really good. Chips done well. Hotwings where normal. They dont have real mayonnaise. Just the garlic mayonnaise and other sauces. Prices are little high. Staff can be little rude towards customers. Not friendly.

This place certainly deserves five stars considering the value you get back for your money. I had a chicken tower burger, 6 fried chicken filets, fries and coke today for around 7,5£. The chicken was tender and had a really good quality and foremost it tasted very good. The fries were ok and I was confused a little bit by the sauces but that is not a deal breaker for me. The store was clean and staff members very friendly. And by the way it’s HALAL.

Very good and fresh l food, If I have choice would go there every day. Chicken is very tasty and them sauces are way too good.

From visiting them last 4 to 5 month ago, they seem to have got there food back to its former GLORY. 💪💪💪 Chicken strips were cooked to perfection, corn on the cob were tasty but the large chips should be packed in the Boxes as they did previously. But that's cool. The Chicken is back from its holiday! Please keep it going PeriPeri. 👍👊👊👊

The restaurant is always busy. The food is good tasty food and is cheap as well which is a bonus. The staff are friendly and try to please you every way they can.

Peri Peri Saxon Road, My regular, food is amazing, price is good, service is good, at times when busy it can take time but its worth the wait, best sauces in town, the best peri peri joiint in Luton. Owner is alwways happy and friendly, sometimes food order comes wrong, gets replaced straight away, if items are missing, next time I visit they give it to me. love it

I have visited the Peri Peri Original in Saxon Road Luton a few times the staff are rude if you complain to the owner his response usually is if you do not like the service go somewhere else. He has an asain guy working there who is young and abusive he will not give you what you ask for and be difficult with you. I find the food is not cooked properly and they will not serve you in order I have been kept waiting for 2 hours when I ask about my order I being difficult as I find in most asain takeaways with the exception of a few the customer is always wrong generally. I do not have time to write reviews but I thought I would warn people before they experience the terrible service that I have.

Visited the place about a week ago and the service I received was absolutely horrible,guy at the reception who called himself a manager was rude and insulting,i was served cold food upon inquiry was told to have my money back and leave the place,i had to leave because of staff's rude and insulting behaviour. Would never be going back to this peri peri ever again specially when im not local and used to travel all the way from different town for their food. Not same as it used to be.

The peri peri chicken is good for the price however the fried chicken is too oily as well as the chips. Service is pretty slow at times therefore I have to order the food in the phone before I collect

I order foods for my kids. they gave very hot, but I order lemon and herb, didn't gave me my chicken strip with salad meals. when I asked over phone the man was very aggressive over the phone and told me you should checked before take. I informed my daughter n son went to pickup. he replied they should check and told me- come now with receipt I'll check and give your salad. no apology or sorry. when i went to the shop and told him he gets more aggressive with his word and told me- you should stay on bed, you're tired n miserable. only for a small portion of salad you making big fuss. I told him this is not for salad this is for respect to your customers and your service. he replied we are busy don't have times to this fuss. I was observed they're very nicely talking on their own people (same country people) some customer told me off. I travel different countries and different places in UK for buying foods and goods. never face this kind of assault and harassment before. I was regular customer them, but think no more, for they act like Luton is there fathers property and no-one can say anything to them. thinking to leave Luton.

Nice clean eatery, with a good menu. Food is completely fresh and cooked upon order. Their sauces are a little different to others.

Food is always amazing, been coming her for a while and they don't disappoint, although price maybe a bit too high.

It's a clean environment, which is very important to me. The place looks like it's brand new - that's how clean it is. The food is good - served with lots of fresh salad. Good seating area upstairs as well.

i am been here a few times and their chicken is tasty and fresh. Staff need some training in term of customer service but overall its well value for money

Been going here for years. Have to say there's not been a time when I've been disappointed with my food. Always fresh and full of flavours. Friendly staff with quick service, even though it can get overly crowded sometimes. Would definitely recommend it,

Excellent freshly cooked food, and service that is second to none. Staff keep the restaurant very clean and in my opinion, the menu is very reasonably priced for what I consider to be high quality fast food. There is a salad bar with huge variety; one of my favourite things about the restaurant is that if you choose to dine in, your meal is served on a proper plate with proper cutlery, as opposed to eating from a takeaway box. I would recommend the spicy rice and anything from the grill.

I did not receive my correct order. My father traveled far to pick up the order to realise after he did not receive the salad and he had to pay extra for chips when we ordered a platter. This is very poor service. Where did the £12.50 go towards?

There are a lot of peri peri chicken restaurants out there but this seems to have hit the mark with the taste and price. Though on occasions it does rest on its laurels too much of being one of the better peri peri outlets in Luton which ultimately can lead to its downfall. You can expect the most fulfilling meals from them and at times you can end up with burnt chicken/smaller portion sizes/wrong orders etc. All in all it is good but it could be great if the quality checks are more constant.

This is disappointing place. Improvement is needed. No quality at all. The only plus for this place is the price

I had 'lamb in a pita'. It was delicious; the meat was full of flavour and more importantly, tender. The only downside that it was cramped and was not that clean internally. Will visit again if I go to Luton.

The restaurant is usually packed. We are usually regular visitors to the restaurant and my favorites are chicken pasta and almost all peri peri meals. The food is very tasty and has an impeccable taste. would recommend to everyone.

There is a lot of these "peri peri" chicken places located in Luton, but this one is the best by far!Their chicken is beautifully seasoned, with a choice of flavours. Ive always had extra hot, and it certainly is. The chutney that is provided with the meal are very tasty too as is the freshly prepared salad. I have had their fried chicken on one occasion but I think their Peri Peri chicken is much much better. It is certainly value for money.

I been many times here and its always so consistant , and it doesnt get boring its so full of flavour and fresh , i have tryed everything on the menu and its finger licking good , only downside is the mango cans are special price ones that say 59p on them however the can is 70p , i assume they get these special prce cans for slightly cheaper so why not charge the price written otherwise get the non spevial price ones, but cant beat the service n food

Forget Nandos, get yourself involved in some Peri Peri Original!!I went to Luton to test drive a car, turns out the owner of the car was the owner of Peri Peri, anyway, didn't buy the car, but got some Peri Peri.....Spot on! Really really good chicken, nice and moist, fresh salad and tasty rice!!Cheers man.

I absolutely love this restaurant here! The food is absolutely lovely especially the platter!! Most of the time they are absolutely busy yet they make the most yummiest chicken in townI would prefer this shop and then nandos!! It's much cheaper and you get quality and the food is so much tasteful!!!

This is the best place for peri peri chicken, fried chicken and burgers. Even their chips is awesome. Just try and see for yourself.

We first used this takeaway when another local Peri Peri shop (our favourite at the time) ran out of chicken for goodness sake. Starving hungry we went to the Peri Peri Original in Saxon Road and since that day we have never been anywhere else for our Peri Peri... it's the best.It is usually mega busy but despite this you never have to wait long for your food and you can ring in advance and place your so it is ready for collection. The staff are really friendly and work very hard and seem to take real pride in their work. Their half Peri Peri Chicken and Spicy Rice makes an excellent low fat choice for those following a low fat eating plan like Slimming World. The only downside is that they do not deliver but to me that is the sign of a really good take-away as they are so busy anyway!

Food is great and staff are amazing. The placs is very busy but the service iz handled in such a calm manner. Parking is very easy and the price is cheap..excellent service.
