Vanmiddag bij toeval hier naar binnen gelopen. We vonden het meteen een heel leuk plekje zo op de hoek. Bleek dat we bij toeval echt een top ontbijt te pakken hadden. Uitgehongerd waren we, het eten was super vers, crunchy, lekker , heerlijke koffie en thee geweldige broodjes en snacks, lieve mensen kortom top en ik ga snel nog een keer terug tijden ons verblijf in Edinburgh.

We were getting tired of trying to fins a dog-friendly cafe in Edinburgh and were actually on our way to one we'd found on google maps when we came across peppers. And as we were warmly invited in with our dog from the staff inside even before we'd got to the door, that decided it for us. They've a great selection of prepared sandwiches and wraps, and from when we sat and ate out lunch, they're a hive of activity for workers' lunches. Friendly, quick and the food we had was hot and tasty. Nice soup and bhaji flatbread... and staring at the cake counter meant we picked a treat or two as well. There's not a lot of room inside, especially once the lunch rush is in but worth popping in for a quick bite.

Nice vegan salad and a coffee boast before my initial walk around in Edinburgh. Only open during the week. Nice place to sit and watch the city go by as well.

Brilliant place. Food is delicious, great options and variety, service is quick for now busy it is and also super friendly. Will be added high on the list of my go to places in town now!

Yummy!! Great variety of sandwiches. We ate in as there were free tables and had time. It’s quite a small place, but enough for 3 groups to sit comfortably. Very busy with takeaway orders. We had a lovely vegan sandwich with hummus and avocados and one with the mexican chicken. Owner made ham and cheese sandwiches for the kids, which they enjoyed.

One of the best lunch spots in town! Loved my Greek gluten-free roll and the lentil soup was so tasty! Can’t wait to be back in Edinburgh to visit this gem :)

Visited for lunch Wednesday 16th we had the Mexican Chilli Chicken wrap, Chocolate Brownies and tea to drink, the food, service and staff were excellent. Definitely worth a visit.

En nuestro último día en la ciudad antes de volar de regreso al sur, llamamos a Peppers para recoger baguettes a la hora del almuerzo para comer en nuestro hotel cercano. El New Yorker fue excelente y también el Sweet Brie, ambos elegidos de una gama imaginativa. Personal amable y acogedor y comida llena de sabor. Este Sandwich Bar se merece el éxito.

Very lovely staff they accepted our puppy to have a breakfast with us and even gave him water with chicken, he was the happiest puppy. The coffee is very good and the sandwich = heaven in the bun.

We found this little gem right by the apartment we were staying in. All the food is made with love, well presented, well priced and tasted great. Would definitely recommend.

We ate here for breakfast almost everyday. Great vegan and vegetarian options plus wonderful cappuccinos. Lisa the owner was so hospitable and kind to help with getting us a taxi. She also suggested the Kanpai sushi which was fabulous!

This place is great: my sandwich was delicious and excellent service. During the fringe, if you need to grab a quick bite between shows I would recommend here!

Peppers is a really nice little cafe to stop and grab an early morning bite to eat. The breakfast bacon buritto was a very nice and the coffee is also very good. The staff are all friendly and bubbly and a pleasure to deal with

Si quieres felices, ellos nunca estaban súper contentos, personal sincero, que te hacen sentir que tienen el privilegio de estar en su pequeño, Café caro, entonces éste es el lugar para ti. Si te gusta el café flojo incorrectamente etiquetados como un café con leche, bien ir no busques más! Evita el desayuno burrito con aguacate y queso, huevos revueltos, he probado un cartón más apetecible (bueno, no literalmente). Hazte un favor y ve a otro lado. Otras críticas positivas tienen que ser amigos y familia. Evitar evitar evitar. . .

I have had a few things out of Peppers, sweet treats, porridge, the odd baguette and it has all been good. The staff are pleasant and helpful and location is handy

Toasted wraps, panini , sandwiches ,teas coffee and cakes. Good views from a corner location. Excellent quick service from really nice staff. Most importantly the food tastes very good and fresh. . Ideal if you want something in a hurry. Ideal if you want to hang out. I will definitely be back

Cayó en un rápido roll hoy para tener finalmente tenía el desayuno tiempo. Han pasado este lugar tantas veces, así que me alegro de que por fin la oportunidad de probarlo. Fuimos para un tocino y roll aguacate con un refresco y a más de £3. 00 para sentarse, creo que es razonable. Si no me hubiera tratado con el rollo sin duda habría optado por uno de sus numerosos bandeja de pastas. Todo el mundo era muy servicial y alegre. Volveremos!

He estado en este café dos veces este año y en ambas ocasiones una señora bastante ruidoso y desagradable me servía un café tan caliente que mi boca estaba quemada y todo el café olía a leche vieja.

Was out with two kids during visit to Edinburgh and saw this sandwich bar and popped in. Loads to choose from but being kids they wanted something simple so chose cheese and ham paninis and mine was Brie and cranberry. It was very busy with people popping in to grab food and go so isn't somewhere you would necessarily visit to stop and eat as has limited seating but we sat in the window and watched the world go but whilst eating. Would recommend for a passing bite to eat.

My friend and I happened to stop in here when we were walking around close to the Green Market and we are so happy we did. We both got the French club and chips and a drink for under 10 pounds and it was delicious.

A lovely atmosphere warm friendly staff.This place a wide variety of rolls, Bap's , panni's from vegetarian to vegan everything seems to be catered for.Even have home made cakes and slices wonderful wonderful .

Delicious panini and hot chocolate! Really cozy feeling cafè. Only drawback was the drink coming in a paper cup rather than a mug.

Fantastic place to grab lunch – very friendly stuff, extensive menu and great value for money! Very accommodating for dieters too – many gluten free and vegetarian options as well as bespoke salads.And if you aren’t too bothered about calories – the home-made brownies are to die for, the best in Edinburgh!

Quick stop off here for some food and the paninis that I have were delicious. Was happy to come back again for a quality, low cost lunch.

Just had a coffee here and seats are quite casual as part of a takeaway/cafe. Coffee lovely and the girl who served us was funny, friendly and very genuine. Noticed they bake fresh baguettes daily so need to try!!

We've been to Peppers a few times now and would heartily recommend it for breakfast. There's a few tables and it's usually quiet in the morning. If you want to try proper Scottish Porage, have a wander in. A big mug of the stuff will set you back £1.75 and the coffee is excellent. It's a friendly place and provides a relaxing start to the day.
