I paid £9 for the large pepper steak dinner (price increase since May 2022). I got back to the office and saw the dinner was 7/8ths rice, a bit of veg and only 7 pieces of meat. I rang to ask, if this is the large, how many pieces of meat do you get with the regular sized dinner? (Apart from the call being terminated 3 times before I got through). The owner said I was petty to count the pieces of meat and that if he wanted a piece of steak, he went to the butchers, took it home and cooked it himself. I said the portion was small, compared to other caribbean takeaways - he wasn't having any comparison to any similar outlets. I was ringing only to give feedback and was genuinely curious if I'd have been better ordering the regular sized dinner. Poor service, rude and while tasty, it certainly wasn't value for money and as first impressions go, I won't be going back!

Peppers is a fast food caribbean take away i have visited several times however the quality of the food is not as good as it used to be and doesn't have the authentic taste of good jamaican food and is now more catered for different palates It would be much better if they also sold Chicken or Beef or lamb Soup to give a bit more choice to the menu

Absolutely disgusting, food was awful, my boyfriend ordered plain chips and they gave him peri peri, chicken was dry and disgusting.. 50p for garlic Mayo and the pot wasn’t even a quarter full.. cold stale food

Arndale Shopping Centre Kiosk 7, The Food Court, Manchester M4 3AQ EnglandToday we decided to take Subway for the first time in Arndale, which is located near Aldi. We have already eaten in this chain and know that there is a menu for £ 3.99, which includes a snack and a drink with a sandwich. Throughout the service we asked what is included and what is not included in this sandwich to get the menu for £ 3.99. We asked the staff what we can include and agreed on all the ingredients, because there are no self-service screens there. But at the checkout we overpaid twice, because our order was not correct, although we agreed on each ingredient with the staff. It was the worst experience and I do not recommend anyone to eat here, because you will be deceived and you will overpay. We are hungry, because this food was not enough. Not satisfied, because for this money it was possible to eat in another restaurant. This was our last visit, we will never return, and we will also tell all our friends and acquaintances about this terrible experience.
