Used to be really good but going down hill. Our most recent order left all 6 of us with bad stomachs.

Pizza was worst I’ve had in a long time

Ive used this chippie for years and always liked it. Not been here for about 1 year and just had a fish supper and a King rib. The king rib was awful and im 100% sure it was reheated from last night. The fish supper was average. Ive changed my review from 5 stars to 2 stars.. Next time I will go elsewhere.

Ordered a sausage supper none ready at That time. Staff made fresh one. Excellent quality 👍

Placed an order, went in to collect and wasn’t ready. When I got home with the food the chips were tasteless and the batter was not crispy but chewey. Expensive and definitely not value for money.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! placed an order through one of the fast food apps and it got rejected after 38 minutes of waiting!!!!!!!!! money still been taken from my account and cannot get a refund as apparently it should’ve happen automatically. STAY AWAY!!!!

I go in every Friday for fish suppers. I don't mind the wait for fish to be cooked then it's fresh. Been going regularly for past few months. Food is excellent and staff always friendly. Those complaining about staff not using gloves and germs. I guess you don't go anywhere as there's germs everywhere and if you have kids, don't you let them out to play? That is just a ridiculous coment. Satisfied customer.

I loved It! The pizza was amazing although it is quite pricy, but highly recommended.

Just had the blandest pizza from Pepi's. No flavour to the sauce and not a lot of sauce at that. Shame.

Had a single fish, left it on the bin outside, don't know which type of fish it was, certainly not haddock. Fish wasn't nice at all. Would rather pay a bit extra for a decent bit of fish. The seagulls eventually ate it. Don't get a fish, its a big let down.

Service with a smile, good value, and worth the detour off the bypass 🙂

One of the best chippies about in my local area, food is always spot on and the service is great. Been going here since I was a teen! Unfortunately they don't take card payments in store but you can order on Lomond eats

It's more if a memory place for me. It's a solid chippy I've eaten at since I was a small child.

Visit pepis quite regular and never disappointed, would highly recommend fritters

I have used Pepis Fryer both for home delivery and takeaway. I have found the food provided to be well cooked and tasty. Wheelchair accessible.

Sometimes they close early dependent how busy they are. Quality isn't too bad sometimes can be warm rather than hot and not too generous with chips on suppers but overall good. When you catch it at the right time, amazing.

I was sat waiting on my chips to be cooked and while the staff were waiting, they were cleaning, on their phones, taking cash off of customers, all without gloves. Once the chips were ready the girl put her bare hands into the big bucket of cheese they have pre made under the counter. If you are ever going to get anything with cheese on it, DONT. I can’t begin to imagine the amount of germs inside that bucket.

Never had any issues. My pizza last night was excellent and delivered by a very pleasant young lady.

Bought two fish suppers and a smoked sausage supper tonight the chips were not edible

We bought fried huggis, nuggets and pizza. Everything tasted very well, also the price is low. We definitely will come back 🤗

Fast delivery great food every time

Use regularly. The only criticism is the chips. I know different spuds used throughout the year, but they seem to be very greasy, and quite pale looking just recently, like another 5 minutes would give them some colour and crispness. Otherwise, great food, fresh, and great staff.

Used to eat here on regular basis however quality of food has somewhat got worse. Recent purchases seemed to suggest oil was not being changed as regularly as before as food looked "dirty" with black specs over chips and fish. Fish also has lots of bones which seems to suggest a lower quality product. Would I eat here again. Not really based off last order which is a shame as was one of ,if not the best, chippy's in the local area.

Large hairs in chips cheese and curry (muiltiple) Fish and chip supper chips arnt cooked properly When we called up the women made out we were lying about the chips being hard and uncooked, the worst customer service I have ever dealt with wouldn’t even recommend to my worst enemy, disgusting food and even worst customer service!!

Staff are so funny, great banter and fresh food.

Just got a takeaway from here and it wasn't great. Very disappointed. Fritters like rubber and the batter on the sausages and the burger were also like rubber. The sausages taste like cheap freezer sausages. Wouldn't recommend at all.

The food in here I did greasy and not very appetising. Also despite have debit card logos on the windows they demanded cash only. In COVID-19 use your devotion card times only this gives rise to an impression of tax dodging!

Rotten, pre-packaged, over salted & over priced. Daughter paid £8 for a Mac & cheese. When I called to tell them the Female Manager was rude and argumentative. She flat refused to offer an alternative or a refund. Rubbish customer service and will definitely not be using them again.

Took 2 hours for a bag of chips and a supper ended up telling them to leave it wont be ordering again

Phoned delivery at 4.55, 6oclock i phoned to see whats happened to the food, was told just waiting on driver coming back, eventualy got food at 6.40 shocking!! Was it worth the wait? Deffo not king rib was rotten and tastless!! Always get from pepis but no more just lost another customer.

Went to this establishment today at lunchtime to get lunch for six people ordered 1 chips and cheese 3 portions of chips and two portions of fritters. Was promptly informed I could not get 2 portions of fritters as these were for the school children. There was a huge pile of fritters and it was before school lunchtime so therefore no kids. Surely they could have made more not great business sense or customer service. Will not be back

I ordered this evening macaroni and chips when arrived 45 mins latter macaroni was cold had to microwave it.ni appilugy for time it took either.

The pizza from here is atrocious, its rock hard and all the toppings come off the base! Only gave 1 star cause I had to too write the review.

Phone here quite often aswell as coming in the shop. Tonight phoned a delivery at 4.30pm and informed delivery driver doesn’t come until 5pm. That was fine , 5.40 comes around still no delivery.. phoned and asked to have a woman with attitude saying there was people before us. Ok fair enough , delivery arrives at 6pm .. open our delivery to a tub of curry sauce missing. Phone back up and the woman who claimed to be a manager says we ordered one tub .. not the case at all I was next to my husband and heard him say 2 tubs of curry sauce which she had also repeated our order before hanging up. She consistently tried to argue with my husband saying he’ll need to pay again aswell as more delivery charge for one tub of curry sauce. Disgraceful way to speak to customers and to refuse to come back when it was her mistake to start with is even more disgraceful. We are good customers and phone regularly but won’t ever be returning.

We will never order from here again. We ordered 2x 12" pizzas at 7:15 on a Wednesday night. At 8:35, after a phone call asking why we hadn't received our order after the promised half hour, we finally got 1x 12" pizza. It was cold. When we phoned back we were told they would send out another. Unfortunately, we had already lost our appetites and didn't feel like waiting another hour for a cold pizza.

Chips were disgusting yet were lovely last week

Staff are always chatting very load forgetting about there customers . Been in a few times and 2 of the staff are very rude rolling there eyes if you ask a question

I've been going to Pepis for years and have never had any problems at all ,have the best staff and the best food just simply good .

Really like it BUT they hardly have any chips! Also it seems a good bunch of workers ALTHOUGH they have abit too much of a laugh they done give u the correct order. If it wasn't for that I would have gave another star.

Get deliveries from here all the time food is excellent and especially home made pizza

Lovely bit of fish nice crisp batter

I am absolutely disgusted by the standards of Pepis Fryer' s staff. They cannot decide whether to butter there rolls or not. One of the females was extremely cheeky about a buttered roll which was asked for as she had already served 2 previous buttered rolls and continued to serve an unbuttered roll, I then asked if she could make it a buttered roll which she refused, at which point I was very dissatisfied and then continued to voice my opinion at that point, I got incomplete order and was leaving and speaking with my partner and I said that I was unhappy with what they had served and there composure as a fast food take-away. I then said about writing a report as I was extremely appalled s I voice my opinion another male employee of Pepis Fryer threatened me and continued to growl through the window , trying to intimidate me, my partner and his friend . I shall never return to the shop and will also be reporting it to the police.

Turkish owned chippy with Italian signs is pretty strange. As a chippy though i cant fault the food and the pizza is brilliant, wouldn't try talking to any of the males behind the counter especially the dour faced owner who is never happy and pretty arrogant however the girls make up for that theyre always smiling brilliant with customers and very attentive, pretty much make going worth while, other than that get a delivery. Turn fryers off at 9 so make it fast though.

This place is amazing i come here every time i come to Alexandria the staff are so helpful and friendly and the food is top notch i spoke to the owner he seems really passionate about what hes doing keep up the good job guys

Got a delivery from there tonight was cold and disgusting i called to speak to the manager the girl at the counter pretending to be the manager and told me i was barred i worked and cooked in a chip shop for 3 years i will never order again from this place customer service was really bad and food is vile i will be putting in a complaint !!!!!!!

Was working here recently and got a fish supper. Best chippy I can remember having, ever! I'm pretty fussy when it comes to chippy food - seems to me like they just don't taste that good these days and cost a fortune too. Sausage suppers are normally soggy with bits of gristle and fish suppers are tasteless, full of bones and cost silly money. But this one I got from here was perfect. Slightly overcooked so it was all nice and crispy, with plenty of flavour, I sat in the dark, in the car, listening to the Clyde 1 football phone in and it was a great meal!

Stopped here on the way from Glasgow to Fort William. Excellent service and great chips!
