Pepis Fryer & Pizzeria in West Dunbartonshire

Got a burger, it was hard, had little to no sauce in, the salad in it consisted of browning lettuce and a slice of tomato, and the roll was wet. The chips were floppy, and some were hard inside. The kebab was extremely greasy.

Food we ordered was nice, with the Chicken Leg supper made fresh to order with batter or without if you prefer, good portions, as you would expect with the above average pricing

I've complained twice in here. Once I was in and asked if the fish always has bones in it as my dad chocked on a bone it's not the same fish , I spoke to the young turk guy who was quite cheeky to me he said well dont buy it buy something else not even an apology, I went again and it was the same young turk guy who served me i asked for a roll and chips and he said 4pound 30 yous are charging for a full bag of chips and 70pence for a roll. You don't even get a full bag of chips on a roll when I complained he was cheeky again and told me to get lost. I've been going to that chippy for years and it's went down hill because off cheeky member off staff you don't speak to customers the way he does there is plenty off chippy's in this area and I won't be back, you will lose more customers if he doesn't change his attitude. I walked out with nothing

I ordered two portions of scampi (no chips) and they were cold and way, way overcooked, also, for £16.00 Inc delivery you'd think they could provide tartare sauce. I won't order again, especially as as soon as I bit into them I realised I'd had this same experience the last time I ordered this around six months ago. Definitely won't use them again.

Ordered fish for 86 years old and it never arrived so phone up and they said they would send it still not here

Great fritters, appalling fish. Completely tasteless. If that's haddock, it must have been frozen for at least 3 years!. Staff are friendly enough.

Ordered a pickle and paid at the dopr for it but the pickle was missing when I opened the food. This has happened on another 2 occasions, not a massive deal but when you pay for it you expect it to be in with your order. Also feltyou could really taste the oil the food was cooked in, food was still nice just not as good with the taste off of oil.

Avoid at all costs. I made an order for chips at cheese at 1806 and phoned back for the first time at 1910 looking for an update to be told my order was ready and they were waiting for a driver. I phoned back at 1940 after they still hadn’t been delivered, over an hour and a half from first ordering. I was told at this time the order was with the driver and on its way. I then phoned back at 2010 given my food had been prepared for over an hour, apparantly on the way but still wasn’t delivered to be met on the phone with hostility and told they were very busy. My dinner finally arrived at 2025, cold and not to standard. I will never order from this establishment again and regret ordering in the first instance. I appreciate they were busy but as some point you need to stop accepting orders and focus on the quality of the food your sending out instead of being greedy and hoping to make as much money as possible with shocking service, mediocre food and even worse delivery times.

At long last, a business on Just Eat, that delivers hot food, without having to complain. Special Fish Supper was delish and hot. Thank you Pepis Fryer and will defo order again. Happy customer tonight.

Ive used this chippie for years and always liked it. Not been here for about 1 year and just had a fish supper and a King rib. The king rib was awful and im 100% sure it was reheated from last night. The fish supper was average. Ive changed my review from 5 stars to 2 stars.. Next time I will go elsewhere.

Placed an order, went in to collect and wasn’t ready. When I got home with the food the chips were tasteless and the batter was not crispy but chewey. Expensive and definitely not value for money.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! placed an order through one of the fast food apps and it got rejected after 38 minutes of waiting!!!!!!!!! money still been taken from my account and cannot get a refund as apparently it should’ve happen automatically. STAY AWAY!!!!

Had to call because delivery was late. Driver said he had delivered it which he obviously hadn’t. The person I spoke to was really nice and done her best to sort it out. Eventually delivered almost hr and a half after the delivery time. A new order was obviously made and as always the quality did not disappoint.

I go in every Friday for fish suppers. I don't mind the wait for fish to be cooked then it's fresh. Been going regularly for past few months. Food is excellent and staff always friendly. Those complaining about staff not using gloves and germs. I guess you don't go anywhere as there's germs everywhere and if you have kids, don't you let them out to play? That is just a ridiculous coment. Satisfied customer.

Had a single fish, left it on the bin outside, don't know which type of fish it was, certainly not haddock. Fish wasn't nice at all. Would rather pay a bit extra for a decent bit of fish. The seagulls eventually ate it. Don't get a fish, its a big let down.

Chips were soggy and cold, as was the fish. Chilli on the pizza was clearly out of a tin - disgusting. I will not eat here again.

One of the best chippies about in my local area, food is always spot on and the service is great. Been going here since I was a teen! Unfortunately they don't take card payments in store but you can order on Lomond eats

It's more if a memory place for me. It's a solid chippy I've eaten at since I was a small child.

Visit pepis quite regular and never disappointed, would highly recommend fritters

I have used Pepis Fryer both for home delivery and takeaway. I have found the food provided to be well cooked and tasty. Wheelchair accessible.

Sometimes they close early dependent how busy they are. Quality isn't too bad sometimes can be warm rather than hot and not too generous with chips on suppers but overall good. When you catch it at the right time, amazing.

I was sat waiting on my chips to be cooked and while the staff were waiting, they were cleaning, on their phones, taking cash off of customers, all without gloves. Once the chips were ready the girl put her bare hands into the big bucket of cheese they have pre made under the counter. If you are ever going to get anything with cheese on it, DONT. I can’t begin to imagine the amount of germs inside that bucket.

Never had any issues. My pizza last night was excellent and delivered by a very pleasant young lady.

Bought two fish suppers and a smoked sausage supper tonight the chips were not edible

We bought fried huggis, nuggets and pizza. Everything tasted very well, also the price is low. We definitely will come back 🤗

Fast delivery great food every time

Use regularly. The only criticism is the chips. I know different spuds used throughout the year, but they seem to be very greasy, and quite pale looking just recently, like another 5 minutes would give them some colour and crispness. Otherwise, great food, fresh, and great staff.

Used to eat here on regular basis however quality of food has somewhat got worse. Recent purchases seemed to suggest oil was not being changed as regularly as before as food looked "dirty" with black specs over chips and fish. Fish also has lots of bones which seems to suggest a lower quality product. Would I eat here again. Not really based off last order which is a shame as was one of ,if not the best, chippy's in the local area.

Large hairs in chips cheese and curry (muiltiple) Fish and chip supper chips arnt cooked properly When we called up the women made out we were lying about the chips being hard and uncooked, the worst customer service I have ever dealt with wouldn’t even recommend to my worst enemy, disgusting food and even worst customer service!!

Just got a takeaway from here and it wasn't great. Very disappointed. Fritters like rubber and the batter on the sausages and the burger were also like rubber. The sausages taste like cheap freezer sausages. Wouldn't recommend at all.

The food in here I did greasy and not very appetising. Also despite have debit card logos on the windows they demanded cash only. In COVID-19 use your devotion card times only this gives rise to an impression of tax dodging!

Rotten, pre-packaged, over salted & over priced. Daughter paid £8 for a Mac & cheese. When I called to tell them the Female Manager was rude and argumentative. She flat refused to offer an alternative or a refund. Rubbish customer service and will definitely not be using them again.
