Got a large shashlik kebab asked for salad separate got charged extra 2 quid got home kebab was tiny and tasteless enough salad for a family of 4 and a rubber pitta bread, the worst kebab I've ever come across they'll never have my business again

Lads get the Donna pizza and then tha I me for life changing absolutely pushed drunk man food it's the best to have at the end of the night after a night out.

I've loved Taj since as long as I can remember, no Indian can match it! The chips and cheese are honestly something else, and it's the worst thing about having moved into Glasgow that I can't get it as much now 😂 none of the other takeaways hold a candle to it!

Great fast food restaurants, my favourite is there Munich box and wraps!

got a doner hoagie for little billy and i left him in his room to eat it and i heard a scream so i came running and the bottom half of his bed was completly brown and he was screaming "help it wont stop" he is now left traumitised for the rest of his life and hes been on the toilet for 8 hours today and i can hear explosion like noises through the door

We go here quite a lot and have never had a bad meal ….. until tonight, we ordered a chicken kebab and a cheese burger and chips, I had ate roughly half of mine when I tasted a disinfectant taste …. My fiancée not long after tasted the same thing… he had ate his chips first as he always does…. He only had a quarter of his burger left, so I called the shop, the guy didn’t understand me so passed me onto his colleague… who then said after I explained the situation… he said to me what do you want me to do about it ? Iwas flabbergasted to say the least, he said bring it back for a FULL REFUND…. My fiancée went over and he got a mouth full of cheek when he said about the taste of disinfectant…. The guy said are you trying to say our shop is dirty ?? My fiancée said no I’m not saying your shop is dirty! just saying it tastes like disinfectant… to which the guy said you’ve ate nearly all of your burger…. Only gave back 1/2 the money … I wanted to call them back but I’ve decided to write a review instead….. no we won’t be back !!!!!! Shocking treatment to say the least !!!!! Wish we had just kept the meal and reported you to the environmental health …. Which I will do tomorrow

Chips, cheese, chicken Shawarma and garlic mayo from here is the bees knees!

Nan Bread was dried to a crisp and inedible. Poppadoms were completely soggy, all 4. Rice was ok. I only came here for side dishes and would have been better buying from the supermarket. Really disappointed.

My son got food from Taj tonight, they enjoyed their food, he got me Vegetable Paratha, my request. I can honestly say it was by far the worst and most disgusting one I have ever had! It was so thick and doughy, thrown together, all separated, like 2 different plain parathas had been cooked then put together, totally different sizes and worst of all it was filled with broken, crushed pieces of Vegetable Pakora!!! An absolute disgrace!

Food is terrible. Would NOT recommend. I ordered some mixed pakora which was barley cooked and dry as bone. I also got a doner kebab. The meat must have been sitting for days. Gave me diarrhoea.

Friendly staff, Order taken fast & enjoyed my meal (spicy chicken pizza). Don't drive but noticed parking isn't the best as on a busy road you would need to park up against the pavement as cars,buses ,Lorry's & bikes speed by.

Place is ok if you are starving and wildly steaming drunk..........

Staff are always friendly, food is fast. The problem is quality of some of the food. Chicken pakora is always dry and Everytime I have the doner meat it has bits of bone in it.

Food is usually good but not tonight. £4.90 for spicy mushrooms with no sauce and a handful of mushrooms sprinkled with some spices. The donner wrap was stone cold.

Cheap and nasty! Donner kebab was rubbery and im sure the lamb tikka is beef tikka. Not good at all. Just wanted an easy night's dinner without standing at the cooker in the heat and I was very disappointed, the reviews are not accurate at all this sums up my experience. Go anywhere else but here.

Ordered a few days ago and found a hair In my pizza. I was devastated but I refused to call as it was too late. The chips were soggy and dripping in grease. I wouldn't ever give this garbage to my dog!

Great choice of menu with good size portions. Staff are very friendly. Food can be delivered or order to collect. Would highly recommend.

Not too bad. Decent prices for your basic Indian cuisine. Definitely the best Indian locally since the closure of cafe punjab.

Fantastic food prices and service

I popped into tajs waiting for my next train at dalmuir. The owner (man behind the counter was so kind and very friendly). I order a jacket potatoe with tuna and mayo and I can honestly say it's one of the best jackets I've had in my life, and I'm british so I've eaten a few! Defo worth a stop for excellent food and wonderful service! 👍👍👍

The Taj has one of the best menus I have ever seen in a fast food takeaway. The food is very cheap and you get really big portions as well. I would recommend this to anyone who has the munchies.

Yet again I received a delivery with items missing , it happens every time so sick and tired of ordering and paying for something and not getting it. Definitely the last time I ever use this place. They just don’t listen to what your ordering

Went in for food late night after a full on sesh... Guy with the beard looked depressed as f*** asked him to smile since he looked like a door faced b*****d and smiling is good customer service...... He then refused to serve me and barred me from the premises, right as the other nicer guy was about to hand me my food, the bearded depressed guy litterally took it out my hands haha..... Gave me my money back though

Full of grease. Got a large chicken dinner kebab n box was saturated in grease will not be recommending it. Awful,, gave it another go jan 2019,, will never be going back ,, chicken kebab had a fishy smell so we called to see if it can be replaced or refunded (never had to do that),and was told no, “they will lose money” so much for customer satisfaction oh and the kebab didn’t look very appetising see for yourself

Lost count the amount of times delivery orders have been messed up. Advise you check your orders at the door on delivery. Yet another disappointment .. Food is ok, when you get what you order..

Just rushed back from town and was looking forward to grabbing some food from here. Walked in and the first thing I did was take my bank card out my wallet, the guy behind the counter saw me do this and took my order. He gave me a price so I asked to add chips and cans of cola to the order he then turned around and said to me “we don’t take cards it’s cash only” seriously what kind of takeaway doesn’t take cards? It’s 2018 for god sake. Let’s just say it’s put a bitter taste in my mouth. Thanks for ruining my night.

Use this place a lot, great portion sizes, and reasonable prices, staff always friendly when we have went it. Son has used there home delivery service which is fast compared to others in the area. Never had a bad takeaway from here.

Great servis and lovely hot food

My Family and I ordered a home delivery , I Have never had any issues , Food was clearly sent back by another customer to start with all The meat was cold , GREY ! foul tasting chicken , pitta was not cooked chips cold foul taste from the edible parts of kebab , black lumps through out that we were reluctant to even taste , and the salad (mums dinner ) can only be described as damp purple mush with large metal tasting potatoe peelings , I was against returning to the store as we have always eaten from here . Spoke to the manager who was dismissive , I did not request a refund and was totally dumbfounded at his reaction . , his words were “what is wrong” , I asked him to eat it he declined , his face was of disgust , I’m disgusted out of pocket , a treat night for my family and kids left with upset tummy’s to boot !

Going here for years, great food both snack and meal wise.

Massive menu with cheap prices. Had a burger for takeout and after 5 minutes as only by walking distance and it was all soggy, chips were soggy and condensation from the plastic containers. It would be nice to serve in burger paper boxes so it doesn't get soggy. Other than that well known to local community as been trading for a while now. Could also do with some TLC and modernization to give it a new look and make it a bit up to date. Good working are great too.

Chicken tikka and korma sauce is amazing

Well surprised how good the Chicken Kebob was.The staffs customer PR was lacking,maybe a language thing,but,the food is vv tasty and cheap.Portions are v large and fresh and bright.

The Taj used to be the bets, last few times i've been The chips n' cheese have been shite :( Get it sorted!

Have had a few meals from the Taj and enjoyed them loads Chicken always lovely and tender plus salad a plenty a great place for a light bite or dinner .

taj is a takeaway only there is a large menu .worthwhile waiting for food is always fresh you can order your meal tell them you will be back in 15 minutes go for a drink in pub across the road and food will be ready they also do home deliveries prices great and large portions.
