My burrito had chicken and a little rice in it and the chicken fillet in the chicken pitta meal was undercooked. Appalling value for money, will not buy again.

DO NOT EAT HERE. If you value your health, do not eat here. They gave my brother food poisoning. My friends chicken order, the chicken was pink. They have turned the reviews off on Google review now. These guys are shocking.

Order whole chicken meal for over 30£ Instead of whole chicken we get 4 chicken breast , whole chicken it should be mango and lime glaze but it was extremely hot and salty , dipping sauces where missing , this is third time in raw when food arrived cold and horrible Never again

If your like me and love paneer.. don't bother!! I ordered over £20 of food (paneer wrap and paneer rice meal), when it arrived I took a mouthful and it was sour.. completely gone off it was rancid. I ordered via justeat but they only get involved when the meal shows bad in a photo, whereas this was the taste and texture it was absolutely rotten.. I phoned the restraunt straight away and was told I would get a refund, 20 mins later a delivery guys showed up with the same meal .. I said I didn't want another meal it's the same paneer it's off I don't want it.. I phoned numerous times in the week as the refund wasn't issued to be told I needed to speak to the manager (after already being promised a refund!) The manager basically told me that it's up to the restraunt and it should be just eat paying the refund (just eat aren't the ones who gave me rotten food! I already spoke to just eat) I was told I would not be getting a refund but would be given vouchers.. I do not want vouchers it has put me off the food, why would I want vouchers for somewhere I had rotten food?! Customer service from management was horrendous, I got told 'why would I want to please you and keep your custom if your not coming back anyway' I was then told he would speak to just eat to try and resolve the situation (about 3 months after the incident) and then never got back in touch Honestly I'm disgusted and annoyed that I was basically made out to be a liar (why would I lie about a bad meal right after getting i had to throw it away, why shouldn't I get a refund so I can actually buy something to eat) Will definitely never be going back here again

The food was lovely and hot! The man who served us, Mahrooz was very polite and attentive and handled our order perfectly.

Mahrooz gave excellent service and was very nice to talk to. He made sure the order was quick and was very friendly and efficient.

Ordered from just eat and after calling restraunt 5 times after 2hours still not arrived. Rang and said i then want to cancel and they said thats fine i will get refunded. Had no refund. Have emailed pepes0080@hotmail.com and no reply.

Excellent food. Hot sauce was just perfect. Don’t think I could handle the ‘extreme’. The peri peri fries are to die for! Staff are very friendly. Kashif in particular is always super helpful and explained the menu thoroughly upon my first visit. Will definitely return.

These guys know how to do chicken right. More flavour than KFC, juicier than Nando’s, and cheaper than your high street chippy. Def worth a try - we’ve ordered a number of times using Deliveroo. Delivery was slow but when it arrived it was piping...

After waiting so long, the food arrived cold and burnt. The lamb burger was hard and burnt. Chips soggy and cold. Chicken burnt and wings burnt. We went and dropped all the food off personally. We were told the manager will call and respond to...

Went to Shirley pepes Had to wait over half an hour even though the shop wasn’t busy when I got my order it was short on chicken wings and the chicken I did get wasn’t cooked through I phoned the shop to tell them about...

Went in it was empty and waited 20 minutes alone to be served after I requested to be served it’s a joke bunch of clowns

My partner and I had visited the store for our lunch and all we said when we came out was Khadijah was one of the most friendliest and most helpful staff members! The food tasted amazing and the way of service was quick and efficient!

Ordered on Uber eats. Chips where cold and paid extra for Piri piri salt (matter of pennies) but defeats the point as they clearly aren’t checking the orders or what has been requested. This isn’t the first time I’ve paid for things at Pepes and not received

Went in the other day. The shop was empty so managed to order straight away, ordered a chicken burger which as a meal with fries and a cheap carbonated pepsi max came to £6. The guy working there told me it's extra if you want rice with your meal which isn't the case at the Star City branch. He also said its extra if you want a can of drink instead with your meal and for a slice of cheese in your burger. Even if you want peri rub on your fries then you get charged extra, they have those awful cheap sachets of sauces on the side and he gave me that same watered down garlic mayo that you get from all pepes.I did pay an extra 50 pence to go large on the meal. The burger was not big enough given the price and the fries weren't up to much, seems the greedy owner is using the same tactics that the Ladypool Road one does with charging you extra for everything. Even though their beef burger is as dry as anything, you can get that with spicy rice and a drink for £6 at their Star City branch and the owner seems more genuine there. I won't ever eat here again

Don’t bother, go to another pepes or better yet go elsewhere. They can’t follow simple orders. Ordered 18 chicken wings, we asked if they could be half mango & lime and half mango hot, they said they could but when the order came they were all mango hot & LABLED WRONG. I am extremely allergic to spice so I could not eat any of it. To make it worse since it was labelled wrong I tried the chicken and straight away got a rash on my face. If they didn’t know how to half and half mix of flavours they should’ve said their chef would not be able to do so! Unfortunately ruined my dinner & appetite as the rash was very painfully.

Greedy owner, lost a valuable customer forever, my kids simply love pepe and had to buy twice a week for them and I was happy to see branch opening in Solihull,so that I don’t have to travel to spark hill or ladypool ,terrible customer service, owner has started charging extra for sauces ,despite ordering each time for around or more than 20£ Food , we r told that we can not have sauces for free bcoz we r not buying meal deal,of course y would I buy a meal deal if my kids don’t like fries with it ,raised the concerns each time but was told it’s our policy ,surprised ladypool ,sparkhill ,star city ,Redditch branch never charged or asked for any extra money ever,in fact they r so good that they offer cards to valuable customers for stamps to get free deals, Manager just watches the conversation and never shows any concerns for the customer,not returning for sure!!

Ordered food for the family online and was pleasantly surprised arrived in good time very warm and all order fulfilled. Will be ordering again no issues at all well done great service and lovely food.

I recommended Pepes to my mates which they never tried before but I had never been to the one in Shirley. I was so glad it lived up to expectation cuz I really sold the food to my mates. The best food in town taste wise and the fact that its mainly healthy food. My personal fav is the BBQ Sizzler... my mouths watering thinking about it. They must have a special chef in this branch cuz it tastes alot better than all the other Pepes. 10/10

so I made a phone order, ordering just a burger meal and wanted it delivered to my house. I waited for over an hour for my food. When the food got delivered it was cold and not very nice to eat. Will never be going back to this pepe’s.

They started off good. But now their so profit focussed and stingy. An odd few spoil it for everyone. Too many options for me to choice from anyway so haven't lost my appetite. Shirley High street is becoming quite competitive too. Give this review food for thought!

I took a group of friends for an end of year meal, this place never lets you down, the service was brilliant they were friendly and knowledgeable. The seating area was private enough to have your own conversations and felt at ease throughout. Very clean and hygienic as well.

Omg my family and I love pepe's specially the one in Shirley on Stratford rd. We buy there all the time but prior to that we use to buy from "nando' s tasteless food" and pricey!! where as pepe's are quality food, tasty, spicy hmmmm and good price too no one can beat pepe's on Stratford Shirley my opinion! We absolutely live in this place their food is so tasty and if I don't feel like cooking its pepe's time lol..... were very pleased that they are not too far from us..... Keep up the good work guys from a very happy customer.... Pam

I took the family yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. The place itself was clean and welcoming. The food was clean and very tasty good selection on menu and also nice polite helpful staff. Overall well done and will be returning for sure. Well done.
