Never ever a terrible story. This place has been my favourite for years and has never disappointed with quality chicken cooked my way Very happy with pepes much better than nandos

One hour ago visited this restaurant at Lisburn, and ordered "Family 2 Platter" which includes 8 fried chicken pieces, fries (chips), onions and dips, and added a Pepsi and a juice and paid £ 24.77 . We started eating but noticed bitterness in all fried food which are chicken, fries (chips) and onion rings. We have reported this to the guy at the till and called another guy who looks a manager and told him about the bitterness in the food and brought him some of the chicken, chips, and onion to make him try. After a discussion he told me that nobody has reported this issue and he offered a new chips but after trying it it has the same bitterness. We have asked the guy for a takeaway bag to make someone else try the food and after confirming the issue we threw it in the bin. if you want to avoid oxidants from overused oils, avoid this restaurant.

Eat here regularly and the food is always fresh and delicious. Fast service and polite service too. Even faster if you pre order over phone.

Used to love this place but was in today and the service was terrible. Waited at the counter for 10-15 minutes to get served. 3 staff on 1 cooking the chicken 2 serving up 0 people taking orders. Not even busy as I have been in at lunch time and know how busy it can get. Ended up walking out. IF THEY DON’T WANT MY ORDER THATS OKAY. Went to KFC.

Never let down food is delicious would highly recommend. The chicken is lovely and always cooked to perfection couldn’t fault this place

no sing of side salad with the half chicken and the coating was grainy, chicken breast a fair size but thigh and leg was tiny! wrap was yum i believe bigger portions please and sorry out the coating. poor value for money

what..... I have ordered twice out of here and both times I have been 100% disapointed, food is not worth ordering, over priced and over cooked. I would rather order KFC... Its nicer, cheaper and its 100 times better.... Im shocked at these reviews.. what have they ordered what I havent? I googled best chicken burger in lisburn and this came up... SHOCKED not my thing to ruin a local companies buisness but 100% not worth my money or time....

I visited here at the end of July with my family and to be honest the cleanliness was not up to scratch, firstly the tables were not cleared at all while the staff were hanging around apparently with nothing to do, I actually had to ask if they would come out to the front and clean one of the tables as it was so messy, when one of the guys came out to clear up he said oh that’s not too bad :/ the rug at the front was filthy with dirt and mop strings all over it, the canopy is dark brown with grease, I love pepes food and would be a quite regular customer however I have noticed a great increase in the price lately and with the hygiene like it is I would reconsider coming here with my family again also they have changed the rice it’s horrible and mushy with no flavour, shame because the other pepes I have been to in England are cheaper and cleaner than this one.

Would have given this a 3-4 rating as the tender strips (lemon & herbs flavor) were quite nice & fries were good too. But we waited 30mins for the food & had to go to the counter to ask if our order was ready to find that our food was placed at the side, with no one calling out our queue number. Other queue numbers had taken their food, with our number skipped! The person who took our order was quite unfriendly as well.

Phoned looking a delivery and after taking all my details and meal i get hit with a minimum order of £12 when its only £7.99 on Just Eat where i normally order it from!! I only live 1.2 miles away and the delivery costs £2.20 why is it such a hassle?? I think this is poor from yourselves and just silly really.Ive also been a loyal customer from the day you opened.

To be fair I hate Nados!! The food is good and reasonably priced for what you get friendly staff and a fairly fast service I would normally go for the half chicken extra hot the heat can differ quiet dramatically depending who is cooking. but still very nice. (I love spicy food) Down side chips are normally cold by the time you they get to you as they seem to cook them at the same time as the chicken so they sit for a few mins before they are ready to go. also the chip portions are a bit on the small side as well. but will come back

People love KFC and I am one of them but I love the fact that the chicken here is not friend but still very tasty and I hope this place does not close and keeps going

I really can not fault this place. We order often and have to say so much better than nandos. The rice is amazing. The chicken is faultless. Full of flavour and you can't go.wrong with grilled chicken. Then the garlic sauce is lush and then the chilli sauce is to die for if you like a kick. Kids meals are amazing also. My eldest loves the little activity packs. I have never had any issues and can not rank this place enough.

Ordered a meal at 7:56pm and was told it would be delivered in 45 minutes. No one ever showed up with the order nor did they called to cancel the order if the could not fulfill. Unacceptable!

Ok I'm a little fussy but here is some of the problems. Four people served before us...three of them came back as orders were wrong...yes 75% orders wrong. Chicken burger was decent..no complaints. Chips...cheap and nasty. Tables not cleared even when staff standing around. Worst of all my server (a guy) had extremely long finger nails that were disgustingly dirty. I mean pure black... hygiene does not seem to be a concern here. I won't be back.

Having ate here with my wife before bowling, the food was first class. I got the half peri peri chicken with chips, the chicken was cooked to perfection with really good flavours! Def b back good value for money

The place is clean, they do a children's box meal which was nice, food was average. Chicken was served on a disposable plate that is similar to the "kidney bowls" that you get in hospital which I found a bit off putting. More expensive than fried chicken and not really worth the extra IMHO. I have never seen such cold customer service staff before. They seemed dead from the neck up. Please Pepe's do some staff training!

This is our wee regular and we visit here quite often. Good quality chargrilled chicken and you can choose from the different flavours of how hot you want your chicken. You do have to wait for it as it's always cooked from fresh (not like the chicken you get outta KFC!) Always get nice hot chips, garlic sauce is great as well as their spicy rice. Good selection on their menu from wraps, pittas, burgers to chicken wings, chicken nuggets etc. Give it a try as you won't be disappointed!

We had passed by this place a few times and finally saw a lunch special that peeked our interest. We ordered a Piri-piri chicken meal, mild hotness because I can't do spicy spicy and we literally got half a chicken, pita bread, crisps, and a garlic type sauce for 5 pounds! I had never had piri-piri chicken before and for those of you who don't know, it is a Portuguese term for hot chilies or the hot sauce made from them. So if you like hot sauces and chicken stop by Pepe's and try them out for lunch!

Me and my friends went in the weekend just after the pool. The place seemed busy enough but still very quiet. We ordered to meals which where the chicken and strips with a drink and chips for £5.00! Really well priced tbh but it took 20Mins and it wasn't that nice plus the fact it wasn't busy either is a joke..having to wait that long.And tbh the staff who work in this place are so rude and there personal appearance either isn't professional. Horrible experience all round and won't be back if anyone else has sense they willDo the same best of luck for the future!!!

The best grilled chicken we have ever had. We usually go to Nando's in Belfast or KFC - won't be going to Nando's now. And it is very affordable - much cheaper than Nando's and much healthier than KFC.

Have been in a few times with the wife the food is pretty good the only thing is there isn't enough of it to fill you, but apart from that the food is tasty

Fantastic fresh chicken fillet burgers with great sauces. Peri peri chips a favourite . Great food , much better than the other fast chicken restaurants.

The main thing is that chicken is not fried. Extra hot chicken is to kill for but please do not try 'Extreme hot' unless you have a strong liking for very hot chicken. I go there once/twice every week. Same bill as McDonalds or KFC but healthier. I would try the take-aways and probably not sit there.

We decided to go to Lisburn for a sunday drive and something to eat. We had seen this place before and decided to try it. When we saw the place was empty that should have been a warning sign but unfortunately we decided to give it a try since we were already inside. There was no music playing like the other restaurants and the atmosphere was cold and very uninviting. The staff were miserable looking with no smiles or hellos and the food was expensive and looked cheap and nasty with paper plates and plastic cutlery! The only positive was the place looked clean but I can honestly say I have never experienced anything like that before and will not be back.

been to this place many times and we usually love this place but we both got food poisoning after a recent visit, doubt we'll be back.

This is my favourite place to eat in Lisburn I love spicy food and this place serves it as you like at a very reasonable price staff are friendly parking isn't an issue and the food tastes great. Love it. Can't recommend this place highly enough

We used to go here quite often when this was newly opened but stopped as every time we came in, the counter staff kept getting our order wrong! Either making our meal 'large' when we stated clearly we wanted medium size meals or giving us piri piri chips when we asked for normal chips and charging us for it. They were also continuously trying to sell us more meals off the menu even after we placed our order.The food is fantastic but unfortunately spoilt due to one particular staff member! Haven't been back.

Just been in the Lisburn branch worst meal I have had chicken was thrown in a deep fat fryer over cooked and under cooked at the same time as a truck driver the food I get in chip vans at the road side is gourmet my wife said the meal was vile

There are plenty of KFC,McDonalds etc around so I was surprised to find this place had opened up and when I am in Lisburn and looking fast food my family likes to go here.Love the chicken yummy

I have ordered from pepe's delivery a few times now for myself and my family. The food is always delivered very quickly and it is always piping hot when we receive it. It is brilliant value and is very tasty. The chips, and garlic mayo are to die for. The chicken pitta is a must. Defo recommend it !!!

Really good food for a take away. Been here loads and never had bad food. You have to get the grilled chicken. it's unreal.

It may look like a fast food restaurant but the chicken is so good!! So reasonably for the quality or food and flavour you receive!! Would highly recommend it to anyone.

We would usually go to Subway or KFC when at the cinema in Lisburn, but after all the rave reviews, decided to try Pepe's. OK, it's a fast-food restaurant, but it really is excellent. I couldn't believe it! We were allowed to sample some chicken first, in any flavour of our choice - we tried mango and lime - it was delicious. O.H. ordered the chicken in pitta bread and I opted for the fillet burger. The chicken is moist and full of flavour, the bread fresh and tasty and the chips were cooked to perfection. I couldn't believe how good it was! No more KFC for us, from now on we'll be going to Pepe's! Try it you won't be disappointed.

Had lunch in here today, had a mango and lime marinated chicken wrap, must say that the chicken was fantastic! Was my first visit here and they brought us samples of the chicken to ensure that we made the right choice for our lunch! Really nice touch! Staff are very friendly and helpful. I'm not a fast food fan but this place was really good

Good choice of food. Found menu a little daunting but staff were really helpful in explaining all the choices. Food was quick and warm . Tasted lovely - corn was beautiful .

I was looking for quick lunch so ducked in here. It was empty. I think it was the owner behind the counter and he gave us some great personal service. He made us up some taster samples to show us the depths of flavour and heat. Really impressed and really good food. I'll definitely be back.

Chicken wings from here are the ticket. Much nicer food than KFC. Not a drop of grease on the chips and the wings were cooked to perfection. Will definately be returning soon

This is a true little gem in Lisburn! Usually Belfast gets the best places to eat first but not this time with Pepe's. The food is so tasty and fresh. Forget grease soggy fast food this is a real treat. Deep fat fried is replaced with char-grilled & marinated all made to your own taste, mild to extreme hot. The food is excellent and the staff are a real pleasure. They're friendly, helpful, well turned out and very patient with their customers. I've been several times now and the whole experience has been consistent - excellent each time. I love it!

We found this place by chance, we were shopping in Bow a Street Mall. We decided to get a KFC but as the shops were closing the KFC had limited selection so we decided to go to the KFC at the leisureplex. We walked passed Pepes on the way to KFC, looked at the menu and decided to go in. On arrival in Pepes we were given a seat and asked if we had been here before. When we said no we were given some sample of chicken with different flavourings and were told you can have any flovour on any chicken. We had chicken strips, chicken burger and chicken fajita meals. I have to say it is the best tasting flavoured chicken we have eaten. We had two of the milder dressings (mango & lemon was one I think) and one of the mild chilli dressings. With the meals you also get a choice of side dips for your chips. Chicken is cooked fresh, juicy and flavourings are amazing. Chicken cooked as it should be. Recommend you try it.

I have been going here since March and it is a brilliant place to eat I'm not that much into fried chicken so the option of grilled chicken is great, comes in different flavours and I have tried them all with mild-hot being my main choice each time I order from here. The chicken and rice box is very filling and the chips have no grease coming from them. KFC has been going down hill the chicken is greasy and the prices are getting higher so I would suggest for anyone to eat here. To be honest anyone who writes a bad review for this place is most likely just a very fussy person one of those people that no matter what they ate from any place they would always find something to complain about.

Decided to visit because of reviews here. Was Sunday 9pm. Place was empty. Staff were helpful and it is very clean. I ordered the bbq sizzler meal. It comes in a ciabatta roll. It comes with a choice of flavours. I ordered mango and lime but couldn't taste it. The roll was cold and soggy. It was hard to find the salad there was so little. Chips were hard inside and not tasty. I asked for dip with chips and was told they didnt give that. They reneged and as they had no bbq dip they brought chilli. Seemed strange as the chichen had a little bbq sauce on it. They had brought a mayo type dip as standard anyway with meal. Can not see this place lasting as Kfc is nearby and this doesn't measure up to it. I wont rush back. Sorry.

After a long day at university I decided to get something to eat before heading home for the weekend. I ordered a double chicken fillet burger meal and it was without a doubt the best chicken burger I have tasted in quite some time. I opted for the mild flavour chicken which was seasoned to perfection. I highly recommend Pepe's to anyone who loves their food. The staff were very nice and the food was amazing. A 5 star from me!

I walked past the door and looked at the outside menu. Within seconds a member of staff approached me and offered me a sample. Delicious!This restaurant should have ambassadorial status for fast food!

The BFM had to fill up after another yoga session so decided to try Pepe's chicken shop. The staff were very friendly and restaurant very clean and has been doing well since it opened 5 months ago. Location wise you can't beat,free parking and cinema,big hi 5.Once again the BFM shares the food love!!! Ciao down now!!!

After a full day of enjoyment at the nearby Leisure pool we were hungry so we ate in pepe's sit in. It was Very clean and very busy. The staff were were very well presented and very nice.The food was Very good and I must say when we visit the pool again in the near future, we will eat here again .A+++++
