I’m a regular customer here and all I can say is that it has excellent customer service, the food is hot and fresh and staff are friendly and attentive. It’s always the small things that count such as remembering the extra jalepenos and they don’t forget. It is my favourite place I must say :)

The food is very decent but unfortunately the hassle of ordering makes it more trouble than it's worth. There's no organised queue at all and the locals just barge past you to the counter. And the staff only care about servicing the many Deliveroo etc riders who are constantly coming in and occupying the counter space, they couldn't care less about customers actually in there. And then once you order, it's usually quite a wait and a very unpleasant, loud atmosphere with aggressive people shouting.

The taste is very nice Staff is coperative aswell . Especially staff Miss Naaf at hagley road branch.

Depends at what time of day you order is what kind if service you get

Paneer was very rubbery. disappointing.

Everything is great except the homeless person who is shouting at you when you leave the restaurant

I ordered a meal one day and it arrived the next day. First they said they would refund me and then the next day when I no longer wanted the meal.

Of all the pope's i gave tried across the midlands. This one remains my favourite for taste of the food, friendly staff. A special mention to Navpreet. Serves always with the smile and the kitchen staff who make the food absolutely fantastic.

Love the place. Food always amazing service 5 star always. I have pepe's near me but don't go there as the service is really bad. Will travel extra hour for the service here.

Nav took my order over the phone, she was so polite and professional. Zunair welcomed me when i got into the shop with a very warm smile, he was amazing, kind and very helpful from beginning to the end. Last but not least the food was the best i ever had. I have been to so many Pepes around england but none taste like that one. Big well done to the chef.i will never forget that experience i had in pepes hagley road.

I’ve been a regular customer at Pepe’s on Hagley Road for over a year and have always had a great experience—until today. Unfortunately, one staff member (a man with glasses) was extremely rude and unprofessional. I had multiple separate orders and presented my Blue Light Card, which has always been accepted for a discount without any issues. The staff at the counter accepted my order, processed the discount, and I paid as usual. However, after the transaction was completed, this staff member approached me aggressively, started swearing, and said I couldn’t get a discount on multiple orders. When I pointed out that his colleagues had already approved it, he refused to listen, continued to be rude, and even told me not to return. It was completely unnecessary and unprofessional, especially since the order had already been accepted. I have no problem going to another Pepe’s outlet, but it’s disappointing to see such disrespectful customer service. If management cares about their customers, they should address this. I’d recommend avoiding this branch unless they improve their staff’s behavior.

Food was cold and you forgot to include any cutlery

I ordered from this place yesterday. I had quite a big order and I ordered 25 minutes ahead due to break my fast. I then rang up as soon as I made my order to check they’ve received to make sure they only add the garlic mayo sauce as I also payed for separate ones added to my order. It was then 40 minutes later I still hadn’t received my food and then rang again , the guy said he’s only just received our order a few minutes ago. I was then very frustrated at this point as my uber driver also got cancelled and then had to wait to find another one. In total I waited an hour and a half since I ordered and the shop was only 10 mins away. In the end they didn’t even add the sauces I asked for. Poor service considering I phoned up twice. The man on the phone didn’t make an effort at all. They need to actually follow the orders on uber eats.

Delivery driver was very nice and food was good .

Cold fries, no salt packets included in bag, not much sauce in pots, too much chicken in quesadia, took long time to make, delivery time estimated for 14:05

Absolutely nightmare of a meal, i’ve ordered a rice box, of uber eats, i had absolutely bad food poisoning, i was vomiting and diahorea all morning, i’m honestly not a person that usually wants to leave a bad review but that was absolutely disgraceful and i’m not happy whatsoever. I couldn’t even sleep due to this. This is one of the reasons why Hygiene and cleanliness should be main priority!

Had my first ever food from there last night friday 14th feb step son went for it as im house bound at min poorly. I had a bbq chicken wrap and got 3 wings . Wasnt happy with the 3 wings as wow smallest wings ive ever seen may be thats why they put extra one in . Lol expensive for 3.89 could off got a full chicken for that but must Admit they were very nice and cooked well meat just fell off . The wrap well that was very good again bit pricey but was packed with well cooked chicken think it was 5.99 something like that . But yes will go again and try something different .

For Christmas any hot food was a blessing. Ordered a chicken burger meal with large fries and onion rings. Smallest burger I've ever had but very nice. Fries were warm and onion rings were good.

I’ve recently moved to Birmingham from London and I this Pepes was OK. Firstly the sauces that I paid for garlic and sweet chilli came in very small pots. Where as I’ve always been given larger pots when buying sauces from Pepes. The wings from this Pepes Pepes were nice. The customer service as ok: they answer the phone. 3/5

These boys are the besttt believe me. My guy was soo kind to give me an extra garlic mayo dip just because they forgot to put it in at first. Unlike pepes in selly oak Bristol Road, who are too rude to their customers.

Told em to make extra saucy, when we brought the food home it was dead dry and lacked flavours, Ladypool road branch is the best one so far, period !

I come here after I finish work in the office, the staff are always so friendly and are patient and let me decide without any rush. The chef with the glasses is easily one of the best everytime he has made my food he has never disappointed. In general I would said this is one of the best pepes I’ve been to. 10000% recommend to everyone. Sometimes I even drive past other pepes just to come here.

Ordered from pepe’s delivery driver turned up with coop delivery, I said this isn’t mine I ordered pepe’s which he abruptly said “NO” I showed him my phone and his phone also said pepe’s which he said he’d delivered somewhere else. He said he would sort it but he didn’t he put delivered on the app and drove off. Just eat are refusing to refund me and when I called the restaurant they said I have to go through just eat so now I am down nearly £17. Never ordering from here again

Ordered the Chicken and rice meal +bbq wrap. The rice was really dry with not enough sauce.. Bbq wrap was excellent. Great customer service.

I didnt dine in so cannot score service or atmosphere. Chicken was old and NOT FRESH for a friday night YOUD EXPECT BETTER. when marinated in the hot sauce correctly you can taste the flavour in every bite and the chicken looks a certain colour this didnt. Very little marination like they are skimping on it for some reason. SOHO ROAD PEPES GO EAT THIER FOOD AND EAT YOURS THEN LEARN AND FIX UP.

I usually have a great experience with Pepes, but with this specific store which ive never been to before the paneer especially in the nacho box was awful, it tasted as if it wasn’t cooked properly and made me feel unwell, but the rest was fine and the delivery was great

The delivery driver had parked where I could not locate him. I had asked if he could give a call and he pasted his number into the chat and I called. He had another male with him and they have now taken my number to their advantage and keep harassing me adding me on social media such as Snapchat, iMessage and WhatsApp

Out of all the peps branches where i tried, this is the worst branch ever. Please donot try any food from here. The service was really bad the tables werent even clean, popcorn all on floor. All the sauces where diluted, chicken rice didnt had any flavour at all. Dissapointed

I ordered a chicken salad it has one glass of dirty water under the chicken the chicken it’s not flavored at all, and the salad it’s soft it feels like it’s for 2 weeks ago.

I order from here on a regular basis because they never disappoint. However, recently, unfortunately, I had diarrhea and vomiting 2-6 hours after eating the food.
