Literally arrived within two minutes after I was notified to say that the food was being prepared!!! Very pleasantly surprised!

I recently ordered food from Pepe's Piri Piri on Botanic Avenue in Belfast and had a terrible experience. I ordered the Chick ‘N’ Rice and a 500ml 7up. When the rider delivered my food, the drink was missing. I asked him about it, but he said the restaurant only gave him the food and even showed me his bag to prove it. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times, but no one answered the phone. Extremely disappointed with the service and will not be ordering from here again.

Just took a long time from shop to delivery. Was relatively cold by the time it got here

Best chicken shop about, every Wednesday and Thursday would always head in to get the chicken rice boxes for me and my colleagues, friendly staff and never had a complaint.

I don’t know how it’s possible to have a chicken shop that never has any chicken, but here we are.

The chicken tasted like it was cooked yesterday. Hope in the future you, only serve freshly cooked chicken.

It was all good however I didn’t get the sauces I wanted I ordered one sweet chilli and one piri piri sauce I got 2 piri piri sauces and instead of Pepsi max I got orange juice.

Worst branch of pepe’s ordered loaded fries paid for extra cheese and extra sauce didn’t get and also no piri salt on the fries. Also wanted to order texan lamb they said sorry. Will never go again waste of money and time.

Previously, I have given a 1 star for this review due to the behaviour of the old staff. But today, I have revisited the place, and I was greeted with new faces. The new staff are friendly and professional. They maintained cleanliness and often come upstair to clean and pick up the leftover/trash even when the condition is a bit busy for them. An excellent change of atmosphere, I really hope the new staff are not a temporary thing and the condition can be maintained. The foods are as tasty as other pepe's branches. Good management choice.

Steamed chicken was perfect however the rice taste wasn't up to the standards. Overall it was an average experience.

Staff in the check out was very rude unbelievable. Manager was friendly. Long story short , i wouldn't go again and would not recommend it to any one.

I will order it again, the food was amazing to taste, especially the chicken. Like I don't taste other restaurants nearby. The staff was also amazing and very attentive. We will order again.

Worst service. Gota meal combo takeaway. Requested a tin instead of cup coz am driving. They didn’t give and says its the new management if you want buy a bottle. Grow some brain and common sense… Reply be like SO it is okay if takeaway person spill the drink.Thats what called common sense both delivery and takeaway persons has to drive.

Disgusting owner. The manager was indifferent and made excuses when I complained. I won't be returning and can't recommend this place due to the poor service. All my life this is the worst service ever I had for a takeaway. Bald head with glasses is the guy you have to be replace. Because of one guy your restaurant is going to get bad reviews.

Worst customer service. New staffs are very very rude. I don't know how Pepe give franchise to these people. Just because they run the restaurant doesn't make them above the customer. Especially the manager is very dumb and has he even mentally stable? Food is very good that's why I come regularly to the Pepe but because of the customer service I will never come. Please change the management for god sake.

All the food is cold, so I put the food in the trash. I have two orders that contain chips, and the chips cannot be eaten cold, and there is no fork for the food because the second order is chicken with a spit. How will I eat it without a fork?

Ordered from here before and it was great, last night I ordered again, got a call from the driver to say he was outside but clearly wasn’t as I was at my front door when he called, tried to call him back but didn’t answer, when I called the restaurant to explain that my food wasn’t delivered they basically told me tough, nothing we can do about it. Won’t be ordering again

Would usually order from here. But after you changed the policy of student discount, decided not to order anymore. Also your new staffs are very rude. U have lost a customer forever. Good luck

Friendly service , okay price for Belfast , fast service they give you a buzzer and you can wait upstairs where's theres plenty of seating . You can have a option on how spicy you want your burger.

last night me and my darling boyfriend stumbled our way into pepes after a long day celebrating paddy’s day, you can only assume how much we needed a big hunk of chicken. after studying the varied and outstanding menu you already know we had to get that deal that gives you two meals. i went for the burger (mango and lime) and my lover went for the pitta (can’t remember what heat) and dear god… i don’t think i’ve had food as good in my life. i did drop my entire fanta on the way home but lucky centra came in clutch with a red ribena. not only was our food delicious, pepes is serving up one of the nicest garlic mayo’s i’ve ever had in my life. my pot was wiped clean after you couldn’t have known sauce had even come in contact with it. nevermind all this about the food though, the lovely girl who served us was just amazing. amazing customer service. and the interior decorations and overall atmosphere was AMAZING! i love pepes and don’t listen to the bad reviews in here they wouldn’t know good food if it slapped them in the face.

The nastiest food I have had in a long time. First of all it smells rotten. The peri chips were caked in powder that was disgusting and the chicken didn’t taste much better. We also ordered the cake that was drier than the Sahara dessert. Do not recommend at all worst meal ever.

This is honestly one of my favorite places to go for grilled chicken in Belfast and I'm a regular customer. They always give a 10% student discount on showing a valid student ID, and I've always shown my ID on my university app on my phone and it's been fine. But this time around this server just would not accept it. I literally told him I'm logging into the app infront of you and it pops up with MY student ID with MY picture on it but he said it's not a "valid" student ID. Ridiculous service and just a money making scam honestly. The most rude and unfriendly staff I have come across in Belfast.

Portion sizes are tiny and food wasn’t cooked properly, this shouldn’t be the case as I have recently visited the Lisburn branch and their food was amazing and portions size were far bigger. The workers here are also passive aggressive and impolite. Owner really needs to make some changes if they don’t want to lose all their customers. I have been telling my student friends not to visit and will spread the word around!
