Worst food and worst customer service.

Undercooked chicken and shocking customer service.

I went to paisley Glasgow Pepe. I sat down and waited for around 30 mins until the food came. The chips were great but when my mum cut the chicken it wasn’t even cooked properly. We told a lady at a counter and she told us that the chicken was properly cooked but it wasn’t cooked properly. Instead of saying sorry she kept on speaking until a man came and gave us a proper chicken. He also said sorry for the chicken.I don’t recommend that you go to this Pepe, instead you should go to the city centre one, never coming back to this Pepe.

Absolutely shocking food. Soggy, lettuce was off, burgers were abysmal and missing extras we paid for and more over we got seriously sick after eating it. Do not buy from here. Rip off and makes you sick.

Usually not one to complain however I was shocked at the terrible service & extended rude manager! Food was over 1.5 hour late and so many items were missing! Phoned the store and they hung up on us!!! We had to phone and the manager said he would phone us back ?? Will NEVER be ordering again, food was stone cold when arrived and extremely bland. Avoid at all costs. It doesn’t even deserve the one star Far better pepes branches elsewhere Save your money

Ordered food twice. First it came burnt and then cold and missing items. Should not order online instead go to takeaway.

Chicken was hard no flavour, chips was cold and it was a sit in , dirty in side and staff was ignorant

Only good thing was the food was fresh, women serving looked as though she couldnt be bothered to be here, not very welcoming. Part of the wrap had been torn off and the chicken put on and then the ripped part slapped on top- wish I'd taken a picture of how it looked but I was so hungry, nothing like the pictures which I except some discrepancy but not what I received. I visited before and that's why I came back for the food, the service isn't the best on previous visit but thought I'd come again, regrets.

Not the best Pepe's. The seating and dining areas are good and clean. The food doesn't taste as good as some other franchises, felt that the quantity was also a bit lower. Pepe's in England are cheaper than in Scotland.

Price is high according to portion and taste

The girls who served us were lovely. The toilet needs to be checked regularly though. The mens toilet kinda smelly

Very slow service and average food

Food is outstanding but it's never ready when I arrive to collect, despite being told by the App \ Just Eat that it is, I've never had an order that's any less than 10 minutes late. The atmosphere has been unpleasant on a number of visits due to junkies wandering in off the street, mumbling incoherently and harassing other patrons, perhaps consider security for the safety of your staff \ customers? The staff are pleasant, though I'm always told to leave a 'good review' on just eat whenever I collect - perhaps I will one day when my order's ready on time and the management proactively remove beggars and junkies rather than ignoring them and hoping they go away.

The quality has gone down over the time. Taste is also not as usual. Don't know about other outlets but this one really sucks.

Worst Pepe’s in and around Glasgow. Food tastes bland. The only reason that I gave two stars instead of is service - girl at the counter was really nice and friendly even though super shy and I could barely hear her. Chicken and rice box… barely any chicken in it, clearly no sauce applied, tastes bland… lots of black pieces from grill… I’d defo avoid this place

They accused me of making the toilet a mess and they shouted at me I can't sit in. They said the last time I was there that I made a mess even though I didn't

had a chicken burger out this place that burst my lung it was so good and i still got another lung so will be ordering again

Been at pepes yesterday, food was tasty more then i expected.

If I could put no stars I would as this place doesn’t deserve any after tonight, I am very disappointed in this restaurant, I order from here every week, and my latest order was a disaster, my food had took 3 hrs to arrive, before that i called up and received the worst customer service ever, they were very rude and disrespectful, would not recommend.

Visited Pepe after a long 5 hours drive to paisley and wanted some comfort food however was really disappointed with the food got an extreme chicken xl burger which was really tough to eat and very bland to my liking. Asked for 5 chicken tender strip but was only given 3 again chicken was really tough and hard to chew. Definitely a miss

Hadn’t tried this branch of Pepe’s but in general I am a fan of the chain. I’d recommend pre-ordering as everything is cooked fresh to order and after ordering at the counter I had a fairly lengthy wait for my food. It’s also not as cheap as it used to be but is now fairly established as one of the best chicken shops around. Personally I much prefer it to its Portuguese restaurant competitor. Go to order is the rice box which is crazy value for the portion size. Add the garlic dip to give a little moisture and zing. Temperatures of sauce are quite fierce so a conservative mild is plenty hot for me. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. Consistently good food

Disappointed that they closed early

Ordered from this restaurant and food did not arrive, Staff had no interest in helping when called and then restaurant became uncontactable. Would not use again

I ordered just one burger. It took very long to serve. When I got it, the burger was burned and dry. I paid 10 euros for that. I would rather have eaten in the subway near that.

They are meant to grill the chicken but they sat it on the grill for two seconds and thought I wasn't looking and put the whole thing in the microwave which is a shame as the pepes in greenock is outstanding

The peri peri sauce was like water and I've been to quite a few countries and have never tasted anything like that , I actually threw it away

A huge fan of Pepe's but the staff in the branch is too casual... They need to up their game... Heard a worker having personal chat on the phone while I was waiting to order at the till for 15 minutes...

I tried the chicken n rice meal and it was great I really enjoyed. I Tried the extra hot with garlic mayo ..I may suggest some other mayo with them instead of garlic mayo. The food is heavy for a single person as it's come with a pretty good quantity. The second time I tried their limited edition wrap and it was also pretty good not so bad...but for me the rice n meal comes top 🍻

Mostly on the pricey end for the simple stuff.. good food tbh. I got myself some burger and chips which i did enjoy Wasn't too busy but they do take longer to make.

The extra delicious whole chicken dipped in Piri Piri mayo makes us addicted to your flavour . Preferably the best in Paisley !! 🙃✌️

Worst customer service ever!!! When I called they were certain that they delivered my food. I obtained pictures from their evidence and it wasn't even my order. The delivery driver was extremely rude and left my order right outside. Never ordering again, as they causes unnecessary stressed which was not needed

So the biggest plus to this place - Lovely staff, the girl who served us was brilliant and about the only positive to the experience. The food was nice ,fresh but very small & overpriced. The state of the establishment was vile. For someone who's worked in hospitality before. This was pure laziness and lack of respect for your customers. I was tempted to ask for a refund as I could even wash my hands (no soap) before the food. The bathroom almost made me sick. I believed I'd be entitled to a refund based solely on the hygiene of the place. ...? Nice view but paisley deserves better than this. P.s don't blame the counter staff the management set the standards and the culture always in these places.

Good fastfood. I recommend the rice/chicken box, it was very good. The staff could need a bit better education in customer service. I also miss an information if your food is halal or not?

NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN!! I placed an order for delivery and I was told that the wait would be roughly 30 minutes, but instead had to wait an hour and 40 minutes!! By the time the food had arrived the food was all cold and unflavoured. The chicken was dry and definitely not made fresh, with the chicken wings in a bag of very watery sauce with no taste!! To top it all off I had found a staple in one of the chick'n'rice boxes which could have caused an injury or even worse if it had been swallowed! Definitely not worth the wait or money 👎

To many junkies hanging about the place

Got the chicken taska, Was brilliant. Not the first time I got it and everytime it's bliss. Peri peri chips are also sensational.

Disgusting, do not give your money to these guys, chicken is not grilled it's boiled they just put it in grill for two minutes just to con you . It was my first time and never ever again

Food was good but the staff left a bitter taste in my mouth....wouldn't acknowledge you when you gave common courtesy at all and back of house staff would just stare at you would even say growl....yip a charming bunch

I love Pepes, and I think it’s absolutely class. But the service from the Paisley one is shocking. They are absolutely terrible. Wrong orders, late blah blah blah. If you want a proper good Pepes don’t judge it from here, go to Woodlands in Glasgow and get one, they are the boys 👌

Absolutely terrible experience I have ordered from this restaurant many times however this last time the food came more than 2 hours later and it was stone cold. The restaurant would not answer the phone and messaging on google got me through to Motherwell branch who said someone would call me but this was bulls***e. £20 for one person's dinner and for it to go in the bin is an utter disgrace. The total ignorance of the place is terrible

Order was two thirds incorrect, contacted to ask them to correct, but instead was told to walk to the shop to collect. Real shame, as other reviews mention outstanding customer service. Order refunded by UberEats, and the delivery driver got a tip, so Pepe's is the real loser here.

If they are not taking order on phone call why they put their number online.. why they receive call if not able to take order...

Me and my parter are a fan of this restaurant we were in our last visit there was a black hair in the food (we are both blonde )we let it slide , we visited today and we were given peri chips instead of normal chips (I am severely allergic to certain spices so was weary) and I ordered plain chips , I returned them to be exchanged and the woman working the till looked at me as if I was silly , then proceeded to change them but only scraped the spices off as they were still covered in the spices and I was still charged on my card for the peri and extra sauces which I didn’t ask for , customer service was awful

Absolutely shocking. Chicken I understand is grilled but no excuse for it tasting like rubber. I can take very high spices but I asked for the lowest spice of hot and it was extremely hot and tasted sour. Ordered a large chicken and rice and it was tiny. Get a bigger portion getting a small bag of chips from a chippy than you do there for chicken and rice. Paid nearly £4 for mozzarella sticks - anywhere else would give you a good amount but this place was cheeky by only giving 3 (hint to owners - people love cheese). I regret not going somewhere else or cooking dinner at home. None of the food we could stand and had to chuck it in the bin, waste of money. Ordered plain chicken but yet was covered in spices. There's no excuse you can give to defend this. Happily will live my life in bliss knowing I'll never go back

Absolute ripoff. Ordered from here because it's a little bit cheaper than KFC. Order 10 chicken strips and they were absolutely tiny. Mozzarella sticks were tiny aswell. My girlfriend ordered chicken and rice large and it was tiny. Absolute joke.

Placed order at 9pm advised delivery between 9:40 - 10pm, had to call twice to be told very busy order is on the way spoke to manager Fatima who wasnt very helpful kept repeating the same thing over and over again, finally turned up 10:38pm, poor service wont be ordering again.

I orderd the chicken and rice box with piri piri fries, coleslaw, the spicy sauce and garlic sauce. Everything was fresh tasting plus you get loads for your money. Place looked clean the young girl who served me was pleasant enough. Will definitely be back as there's a few thing's that i want to try ☺

Chips were vile could taste the old dirty oil from them hairs and dust inside sauce tub and burrito box place is obviously dirty will not be back food got binned waste of money

When I went in here there was no customers. The service was good. The food was so tasty, hot and plenty of it for the money. There was a lot of staff in. They were all gathered in the kitchen area sitting on freezers or on phones. No masks worn. Most of the tables were dirty. Pity it was a nice place.

Friendly staff. Nicely decorated with WC facilities. Food was great, good portion size for the money with a large menu to choose from. Also take card which is positive. Paisley centre needed something like this ever since McDonalds left!

We went to eat here today and enjoyed the food s lot. The customer service was very good. Fatima who took my order understood my lack of eating spicy food. Even when I asked to make a table clean and ready for us, she did it with smile. I admired her spirit and so is Rabiya. The food here has varieties of taste and my flatmate loved today's burger so much that I decided to put an astonishing review for today's great service. I hope to be a regular here!
