Pepe's in Enfield

The worst Pepe’s branch I have ever eaten from the chicken is always tough and dry and portions are a very big problem here. The garlic mayo tubs and always 1/3 of the way full, even though you are 7-8 minutes from me I ordered from the Cheshunt branch and was genuinely so shocked in the difference even though it is much further away if i ever want Pepe’s it will be ordered from that branch.

Told them no onion in my burrito and then I got home and had onion in my burrito? I’m not allergic to onion but if someone was and they ate it… Also forgot my water & said they don’t do collection orders over the phone - which I find annoying as every other Pepes I order from does. Then had to go in and place the order and wait 20mins. Positive: Staff was friendly.

Ordered using the Pepe’s app for collection and was told when I arrived that theres an internet issue so they didn't receive my order. Ended up waiting 15 mins extra when I arrived for my food, staff never issued an apology, and on top they had a very disrespectful attitude. Incredible how much they get away with. Dont even know if Im going to get a refund for my original order too. Every single Pepe’s restaurant is very unprofessional.

I’ll be honest they are really lazy to serve you after midnight, they’re already closing before their “4am” closing that clearly shows on the door. Their reasoning is because they only do deliveries after 3am but it was only late 2 am and every time I come in at that time they always bring up that excuse so they can close faster. It is understandably late but you get paid to serve customers not sit around. also some of the staffs always seem like they’re judging and saying racist remarks in their own language too. The food is still good but appalling service, I WOULD NOT recommend going to this pepe’s in particular UNLESS you want to waste your time going there and be told to order through the app trying to get PROFITS out of you.

I came to make an order at the shop exactly 2.30am and was told by one of the staff that the shop is closed and that I can only do online orders such as uber eats. I asked when do you close the shop the staff replied 3am and anything after 3am is only online orders. I told him it's 2.30am so I still have 30 mins because the shop closes at 3am he just said I have to leave the shop and do an online order. I didn't really make a fuss I could see they were tired and maybe didn't want 10 extra people walking in straight after me so the best option was to just close the shop and take online orders only. So I had to stay outside the shop and make and online uber eats order for the delivery driver to come into the shop collect my food and give it to me outside the shop.... even the delivery driver was shocked. 😆 🤣 😂 I mean what can I say absolutely pathetic. Some times you just have to laugh at the situation. The staff inside don't have a Scooby. I spoke to them in English and there asking each other what did the customer say in a different language. All I said was hello are you ok and he had to ask his colleague what did he say. That's fine no problem I just had to do hand gestures to explain I'm saying hello. Ok now the order I asked for peri peri wings which was perfect no issues loved it and then I asked for peri peri chips . Now the picture of the peri peri chips is below feel free to have a look at it and if you laugh you owe me a £100.. because they were definitely not shy with the peri peri salt. Any ways this will be the last time I will be ordering from this branch I wish the staff all the best I hope they are grateful they have work and take pride in there work even though it can get rough and tough at times especially unsociable hours . But I wish them the best .

Closing the store at 03:40 when the shop clearly states 4am. Their excuse was they want to clean the shop. You’re supposed to do that after 4am. Just seems like they don’t want money are are rushing to get home. I don’t think managements would approve. I traveled far as I don’t have a Pepe’s in my area to hear they close earlier than they should. Terrible service. Shutters down at 3:40 is a joke.

I am extremely disappointed and disgusted with my recent order from Pepe's. While eating my chicken and rice, I found a fingernail in my food. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the hygiene and food safety practices at this establishment. I have taken a picture as evidence, and I strongly urge others to think twice before eating here. I hope management takes this matter seriously and improves their standards. Until then, I won’t be returning.

Your staff is to much rude and there behaviour is extremely bad and they don’t have sense how to talk with costumer some time chicken is not cooked properly and some time fries are extra good but main thing is that your staff behaviour is extremely bad they don’t respect costumer. I have never reviewed any restaurant so bad. But this place is really very bad. First of all the staff are not welcoming at all. And i ordered food of approximately £9. They only gave me 4 small pieces of nuggets and 3 mozrella sticks and a drink. The portion is too small and the food is not that tasty. It was all waste of money . No wonder the place is empty. Please never visit this place.

I’ve never taken the time to leave a review on a restaurant Ordered off uber eats, look at the width of this chicken fillet, I seriously thought it was a chicken nugget. I wouldn’t have cared if the burger was juicy, it was the toughest piece of chicken i’ve eaten. Well done on raising your prices and dropping your quality, that how the best restaurants thrive!

I came to the store specifically to get a chicken leg as I was craving that and I repeated few times, to my surprise to see a chicken breast when I got home. If u cannot be nice to customers who spend more £50 on one go do not bother having this shop open!

Paid £4.09 to make my meal “loaded” Which is apparently 4 jalepenos and a tiny bit of sauce?

Cross contamination, they answer phones with the same set of gloves as the cook and not change gloves, one of the staff is quite rude and think he owns the shop. Ridiculous prices as they do not follow franchise guidelines, you can order from the one in edmonton, food is alot better in terms of hygiene, offers and customer service.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I made an order on uber eats and the order never arrived, i call the restaurant to find out if the order had left yet and was given barley any information, they asked for an order number which I had not been provided with and tried to give my address to help locate the order and they just kept saying no we don't have the order without even checking or asking for my full address. They simply could not be bothered to even check out my order. very unhelpful very useless !

I’ve came to the shop after my Uber driver chose not to deliver my food. I’ve bought a chicken rice box meal. I was bed bound for nearly 2 days with vomiting and diarrhoea I believe the take away give me a food poisoning.

Last Saturday evening, I ordered 2 meals + Fries for diner at Pepe'sPiri Piri Enfied via Just Eat. Delivery was on time, but what a surprise when I saw "Loaded Fries". 7.98£ for that!!! This is robbery. For this price I was expecting at least 3 times more fries, and a lot of chesse and Jalapenos. I confirm that this picture is real and was taken just after opening the box. When you can see the bottom of the box, you know there is not much food in it. This is simply inacceptable. After posting my review, i had a response from Pepe's saying that because i ordered from third party (uber eats), Pepe's wasn't responsible for my misfortune (few grams of fries for 8£) . Which clearly means that either 1. Pepe's didn't read my review, or 2. Pepe's food is not prepared by Pepe's or 3. That the very nice Uber'eats personel that delivered the food ate my fries. I then decided to: 1. Upgrade my reviews for the delivery done by Uber Eats, 2. Downgrade my review to Pepe from 1 to ZERO STARS, 3. never order again in your Pepe's shop

I love pepes, but lately they've been serving us stale bread in our tasca meals. I'm not one to complain but this is the third time now very disappointed

We were highly optimistic that we will get better service. But when we reached there with our family, the context was really unfavorable for a customer. The presenter who has taken the order doesn’t know how to welcome the customer or how to deal. Rudeness was a common scene in her face. In different busy store like kfc we can get 100 times better services than this pepes store. I think it was just waste of time and money.

Came at 10:45pm they had already packed up practically everything. No chilli sauce left? Or too lazy to serve it. Gave me chicken and rice as only thing that was left. No difference between the medium and the hot. Food was OK. By 10:50 they'd closed and this poor delivery driver outside was denied the food he went to pick up as they closed the shutters on him. The Franchisee should know what's happening in establishment as it's not running to its full potential. Please see photo attached of driver trying to get access for 10 minutes, poor man did the journey for no reason.

Got my order completely wrong, also made me feel very uncomfortable as they were checking out customers and I could understand what they were saying.

This was my first visit on instigation from my daughter. The staff were friendly and tried to be very convincing but sadly not very true in their statements. Calamari, zucchini and the pappardelle had no taste to it. A good tasty should not warrant chilli oil etc. Nothing seemed to give a little kick to my taste buds. The margarita pizza didn’t look appealing enough. The pricing even for London was exorbitant with hardly any wine nor dessert. Wrong choice of dishes or just my bad luck!! Apart from viewing >100 framed B&W pictures the decor was no better than any picture gallery!

Poor service. Close 1 hour and 15mins early. As in they stop serving certain items if it means it'll take longer to prepare. Tried to charge me extra 70p for a little bit of extra sauce on my rice. Price range more expensive than central london which doesn't make sense.

The food was tasty, decided to eat inside and the place was nice and quiet, had good cleanliness. The service was okay compared to the other Pepe’s locations. The portion sizes were okay, and I would consider coming back here.

Customer service was really awful , unpleasant and rude staff on Friday 25th august as staff would rather be on his phone then provide good customer service to first time customer, I will not be returning to this branch again.

I went to the restaurant on Thursday as it was my results day. The staff seem to be very slow, rude and got racist vibes from these Asian people. So weird they are. My food was average but not best, but the rice was mushy, chicken was overcooked, peri peri mayonnaise sauce was too runny and the guy serving me was very rude and unpleasant. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the restaurants customer service. Avoid this place at all costs. I recommended people to go to Favourite’s, as the customer service and food is far much better than this overhyped and overpriced place. And Pepe’s staff don’t know nothing about customer decency and service at all.

This will be 1st and last review and my final ever order at this place, amazed how this is still open and the guys who work thier have no clue of customer service! The the manager and owner/franschior needs to look at his place and if he values his business he would need to make changes quick or it will not last. Avoid at any cost if your new to the area, theres other places like tennesse and Favourites close by where you enjoy the food and customer service.

I ordered a gourmet lamb burger from here today for a takeaway and after receiving the order I took it home to eat. I opened it up and found a chicken pitta wrap instead. I called back and they apologised and said they could make me a lamb burger if I came back, so I did. Upon coming back, I picked up the burger only to go home again and find out that they had given me a completely unedible burger which was burnt all around and had to go straight into the bin. What a shame as I was a regular customer. Standards have dropped. The owner/manager needs to read this and improve ASAP. Have wasted my dinner today, TWICE!

Guys working there need some hygiene knowledge. Yesterday I popped into the store ordered a half chicken which is over priced and two hairy guys with no personal hygiene were listening to their own music very loud and talking abruptly while making my food. I felt like guys spitting on the food while making it. They got very long facial hair however no beard net also no hair net ! Paid £9.29 just for a half chicken went home n found that food was a waste !? Horrible store , disgusting service and nonsense people working there !
