Pepe's in Thurrock

Ordered 18:35 didn’t deliver until 20.45 over 2 hours!!!!! I phoned Pepe’s twice asked to cancel my order at 19.50 and they still sent my order. Food was cold! Was not worth eating. Really annoyed. Poor customer service from Pepe’s they didn’t really care that I wanted to cancel

The burrito was sticky, making it difficult to prize it apart from its packaging, but aside from that, it was good.

I am so disappointed. Even though we left a note to make sure that there is peri peri salt because there wasn't any last time there still isn't any. I paid extra for the salt!!!!

I have never been to Pepe's piri piri before, I just finished my meal now now and it's was outstanding, very sweet, the sauces 💯👌 not leaving out the customer services very friendly.

What a Saturday, beat the fellas at golf, watched Chelsea hold the title winners in their own back yard and then boom sat down ordered a beautiful chicken and rice box, I always thought this was a place for money laundering but oh my god blown my pants off. Will defo order again bosh.

….On Monday night I ordered a chicken rice box as a meal, both the food and fries were really good but something was fishy with the drink(pepsi), because the guy there was cleaning the counter so that’s why maybe the cleaning liquid get mixed up with the cups, overall food was amazing..

I have never actually visited this shop but have ordered online numerous times. The food has always been hot, well cooked and tasty. I am not a vegetarian but tonight I tried their Paneer and spicy rice meal and WOW this could be my favourite takeaway so far. Big portions, really tasty paneer, so good, Thankyou

But had parts of my order missing. when I called to complain got told we don't have any drivers so what do you want us too do?? customer service is poor. expected me too make another order so I can have my previously ordered food delivered. not the first time I have had this issue with Pepes.

Nice garlic mayo , solid fries , Mango lime rice is usually delicious , but on this occasion was a bit stale, also one of my fries was meant to be peri peri salt for extra 30p but on this occasion they forgot so a bit disappointed. Veggie burgers from here have a little bit of a spice kick to it which I really enjoy. Overall usually a great fast food chain , just on this occasion they fell short.

Im resular customer here , i bought half chicken 2 days ago, the person was serving was named jamil i asked him i bought it same thing 2 days ago but it was not proper cooked but the response from jamil is very rude and not satisfactory and he doesn't shows any professional attitude while talking Without listening the problem with the food i hope management will will train them for good customer service.

Food is good, I usually pop in once a week during my lunch break. Cleanliness could be improved, the place smells of urine, think the toilet needs a deep clean. Also was able to smell the cooks sweat when I went in today

Sehr scharfes Essen also wenn man das nicht mag sollte man woanders hingehen. Sonst war alles prima.

Hi,i ordered today a wrap,rice,steamed vegetables and a bottle of water.I got the wrap,the vegetables,no water and instead of rice I got fries!No apologies or something like that,the staff is awful!

This is not the Pepe's I knew. Extremely bad food, sauce is like a water, portions are tiny, platter packages are reduced. I ate Pepes several places but this one gone extremely bad, it is not like Pepes.

I ordered a double Gourmet Burger, but I got something that I can't call a burger! A mess of food!

My partner ordered food from here last night via Uber Eats. The food arrived quickly but my partner is regretting it today. He says the chips were nice, chicken was ok, the rice tasted like bleach. He ended up throwing half the food away because the taste of the rice was disgusting and reminded him of bleaching a kitchen. He now has had a bad tummy all morning with vomiting and diarrhoea. We won’t be going back here.

We ordered food and it came cold the chicken was cold and the chips were as well. We got three meals and instead Of splitting chips into portions they put them in one bag and also got one of the drinks orders wrong.won’t be going again.

need to improve your service overall! no salt in the bag. the bag with chicken was full of liquid syrup. i wont call it Sause. Other pepe has different and better taste. not sure why?

I often get the chicken rice box from here and never had the experience I had today. I was shocked to find that the peri peri rice you usually get within the box was actually plain white rice mixed in with the chicken. When i called the shop I had to explain this twice to two different staff neither were helping or understanding. Attepts were made to convince me that that is how this rice box comes. I did not accept and challenged them saying I have taken photos of it which I will be uploading here. He told me not to come to the store and come the following day when the manager is in. He refused to give me the manager's name when the name was requested. I hope this is read by management and something is done about this deception and unacceptable customer service. Please note I am not complaining about the taste of food. Food is always nice but the fact I was not believed when I called the shop was shocking and disappointed the way they dealt with me.

Everything in this shop is over priced! Spend more than £50 and I feel like I got food worth about £10/£15. Definitely not worth what i paid for it, sweet chilli sauce looks scary. I also ordered nuggets with all my meals and I didn't get it. Was not happy with the service..few people came in after me and got their food before me. Overall decent food nothing special and customer service needs improving.
