Hing Long in Thurrock

Wish I could review the food but on service alone I ordered over two hours ago and have just called and was told order would be another twenty minutes! Don’t waste your time waiting for this restaurant to deliver!

Phoned up to order on a sat night for 7pm collection. It was ready on time when we got there and was very hot. Food was great, good value, big portions and very delicious. Best Chinese in the area, will definitely return!

The food was very bland even my children said they don't want food from here again... they have jo worries about that as I'd rather poo in my hands and clap than visit this establishment again.

Always my go to Chinese. Food is always hot, fresh, and very nice. Staff are extremely friendly,polite and helpful towards me. Good value as well.

Nice take away, food is good not burned, taste good tryed other place but this one looks more prefered. So far cant complain about food quality havent been disapointed yet.

This is my 3rd time ordering from Hing Long and I can honestly say the food is exceptional. Good quality and very tasty. Delivery time is always shorter than what they say food always piping hot. Obviously this could change on busier nights. But overall I’m extremely happy with the service I have received. Hing Long it’s a YES From me keep up the good work.

Take regular takeaways from here. Good and quick service.

Ordered first time last night best chinese I had in a long while.

My new favourite from Hing Long Chinese restaurant is Salt and pepper chicken wings, Special fried rice, beef with green pepper in black bean sauce, king prawn fried rice, all amazing fresh deliciousness.

Best chinese in Tilbury. Salt and chilli squid is excellent as is the crispy chilli beef.

Have had a takeaway from here a couple of times now and each time it is cold not very happy have used this for many years complained about and was spoken to very rudely

Best Chinese in the area by far. The food is always delicious and top quality. Sometimes you may have to wait a while for your delivery, but it is worth waiting for. The best dish is the Hong Kong mixed meat chow mein.

I ordered a £40 worth of food last night from this takeaway!!! We live in cornwall and are down to visit family for Christmas! I never ever do reviews, but this place needs the credit!!!! Without a doubt the best Chinese takeaway I think I’ve ever had. The girl on the phone took the order perfectly, and food was delivered in a hour like she said it would, we did notice our spring rolls was missing but I called up explained we had a item missing and within 10mins they was delivered at our door!! Amazing food and amazing service. Just wish I lived closer to use you guys more often. Looking forward to our next visit to essex

The best Chinese menu, I have ordered

Getting through on the phone on a Friday night is nearly impossible, so gave up and went to order myself. Mega busy compounded by the endless food delivery drivers. Food was OK and hot !

Nice food but come on i waited just over 2 hours for my grub, so hungry i had a sarnie first! Get more chefs and delivery drivers to help you

Nice food, good flavours and decent quality meat. Fast preparation, ordered at the counter and ready in less than 10 minutes. Will use again.

Pancake rolls were tasteless but the rest of the food was nice beautiful barbecue spare ribs

Good food however you'll wait a long time when they get busy. Only one phone line in continually engaged and have been known to take the phone off the hook!

Was 5*/5* but very average food tonight.

Food appears to be Freshly cooked, average taste, sometimes they get order wrong, average prices, poor parking

2 hours and 50 mins wait for food after being told 1 hour. Food greasy and not nice.

Food too expensive and not as nice as expected

Changed ownership nearly 2 years ago and the food has never been better. Salt and pepper chicken pieces in batter are to die for.

Used Hing long twice now and I have to say it's the best around the area, I tried all of them. Delivery times can get a bit long but I account for that when I order now.

ordered from here after waiting an hour and a half for it to come it turned up cold and was the worst food ive ever tasted even the dog turned its nose up ! telephoned for a refund had to argue for nearlly an hour to get my money back ... staff were rude would never order from here again

Best Chinese in the area. Been ordering for 20+ years. Waiting times for delivery can be a bit long but that shows how popular it is! The chicken in honey in chilli is incredible

Went to this Chinese today ordered chicken balls, chips and some other things. Drove home dished the food out for my family then started eating. The chicken was pink in some of the balls, definitely undercooked so we're the chips but only just. My g/f took it back and got a refund but not even fully. And had an argument with the staff to get it back. Don't even want to give them 1 star...

i ordered a chinese, it took an hour and 25 minutes to arrive, we rang on numerous occasions and was told it would be 10 mins, then that he should be outside... the food when it did arrive was cold and horrid.. if i wasn't so hungry i would have told them to return it. also the spring rolls had a very funny taste, so much so we left them i would never order from here again!
