I'm used to a long wait from these guys, and was okay with it cause the pizza was generally really solid. This time, though, I waited an hour and a half for pizza that was just fine, and my partner's was actually pretty poor. Quite disappointing.

The absolute legend that is the owner. He saw me at the door as he was closing and he only had 2 left so he stayed open for me. Gorgeous man, and such fantastic customer service. It also helps that the pizza is delicious. It's as close as I can get to real Italian pizza close to home. I'm so happy

Foid was really quick i picked up for collection and honestly was one of the best pizza i may of ever had really fresh doe cheese was bang on and hope this place gets the recognition it needs

A massive order, and everything was perfect

Pizza good as usual just a bit of burnt crust but still nice .. delivery slightly earlier than estimated which suits me either way.. if we want pizza ? Pepe rosso is the only place we use.. keep up the good work and maintain standards

We had a selection of vegetarian pizzas and everyone commented how tasty they were. As host, I was hoping for some left overs for the next day ... not a crumb in sight! Although they arrived late, everyone said they were worth waiting for. Thank you Pepe Rosso.

The dough was great, but the toppings on the white pizza were a bit bland. The traditional pizza was very tasty. Even my 1year old had a small slice 🍕

There wasn't any beef on the Banchetto di Carne, which was a shame. But otherwise, the pizzas were delicious and delivered on time (although updates were delayed on the app)

Great Italian style pizzas. Unfortunately they got our order wrong. They delivered us a small Margherita and large ham and mushroom instead of small ham and mushroom, large Margherita. Not a big problem really though.

I have been getting pizza from Pepe Rosso for more than 20 years, and it has always been very good, so am rather disappointed with the service this evening. An hour late, and no update given on the timing until it was requested. One pizza did not have the extra topping requested.

Food was late but I’m aware of the traffic in Lancaster so didn’t mind so much. Food was amazing

We went to Pepe Rosso because we were told it was the best pizza place in Lancaster and it more than lived up to this monicker. The menu is incredibly varied, with so many pizza choices it’s hard to pick. There are plenty of vegetarian options and they have vegan cheese upon request, too. There are also a great selection of starters to choose from - my personal favourite being the Brie wedges which are amazingly crispy. The jalapeño bites are also fantastic. The pizzas are thin and crispy with clearly freshly made dough and high quality ingredients. Every pizza I have had from Pepe Rosso has tasted amazing. The prices are really reasonable for what you get. The staff are friendly and food is always ready in a timely manner. We have always collected although delivery is available.

Was mediocre compared to the reviews and yes have tried a lot of takeaways and was not blown away thin crispy cheese was to burnt and thin to have any taste would I order again maybe probably busy on a weekend but prices and delivery charge and minimum spend would rather have a subway made my way

We have ordered from here a few times recently since moving to the area and the food is always piping hot, delivered on time and really nice! Would recommend and will defo be ordering again :)

We’re in Lancaster for a couple of days and ordered from here based on reviews… and they weren’t wrong. Simply the best pizza I’ve ever had from a takeaway and definitely up there with the best I’ve had in restaurants.

While the pizza itself was a really great pizza- probably the best take away pizza I've had for a long time- it was stone cold when it arrived. It was delivered 25 minutes after the "foods on the way" message so it's no surprise it was cold. So I won't be ordering again. But it was a really, really good pizza. At least once I reheated it.

Pizza was amazing but restaurant was busy so estimated arrival time was later than predicted on the website and then it arrived another half an hour late after that - we appreciated the text to let us know though. Hazards of a popular restaurant I guess and wouldn’t stop us ordering again as the pizza was so good.

This place won't be so cheap for long, this is the standard one would expect in a 5🌟gourmet Italian restaurant. Honestly the crust is phenomenal they must be using the best wheat. Phenomenal pizza

Best pizza in Lancaster as far as we and our friends are concerned.. and I know my ZA. Order early to avoid disappointment they sell out a lot. Top quality toppings, and amazing Bianco (white sauce pizzas) my gf is addicted to.

YES! Called at 7 last night and got 6 pizzas.. Wondering whether to do it again tonight.. the only bad thing about Pepes is it’s not open Mon / Tue / Weds

The food was delicious. Typically not a fan of pizza as a take away as it is usually heavy and greasy however this was the best pizza i have had in a long time. Also.. everything delivered was hot!! Highly recommend. Thank you.

Really great food bang on time

Nice tasting pizza but I didn't realise there was a war on and I was on rations floppy base and certainly not enough topping for that price there wasn't even 1 piece of pineapple per slice hardly any cheese and far to much crust which I hate especially when it's dry as a bone. it was a nice change from the usual pizzas in town tho. nice and fresh.. as for ordering again if I'm hungry I'll swerve sorry I'd rather have topping on my pizza if you're gonna leave a pizza dry at least throw some dips in for the dry bits 🤣 👉💯

It was nice to have a more rustic pizza which and some of the topping options are better than other establishments. Never had a bechamel sauce pizza before until tonight and it's something i would recommend.

Pizza tasted great the base was lovely, ordered 2 9inch pizzas but they were really small, more like 5inch but other than that all good.
