Only ate here so can't comment on staying but restaurant had a nice atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Country hotel in the “Old Style”! Worth experiencing! Everyone is very friendly, hard working and doing their best!

The sun deck and garden are the highlights of this hotel and in fairness I can only comment on my experience which wasn’t amazing. The day we arrived it was very quiet which also made it a bit of a pain to get a drink. Going to find someone to get served effectively. Everything just seemed hard work. The room was ok, nothing to write home about. Breakfast was brilliant and the service in the morning was fantastic. I don’t know if we got caught with the ghost crew but we would have spent more/ordered more of it was easy to do so. Completely different in the morning however. I would go back but not for the price we paid.

Popped in for lunch, absolutely stunning views from the terrace and gardens to wonder around. Food was superb.

We had a private function and the hotel manager along with all the staff were so friendly and welcoming and they couldn't do enough for us. We come back every year as their service is next to none, they do amazing food, they are always attentive, very welcoming and nothing is ever to much trouble.

Supports local fox hunting. Avoid on ethical grounds

Wow, what an amazing evening we had at the Penmorvah Manor Hotel. We checked in for an evening of food, fun and dancing and were not disappointed. Exceptional venue, delicious food and attentive and charming staff. Our room for the night was well prepared, clean, warm and lacked nothing. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to this beautifully situated and well run hotel.

Looks a lovely Place, until you learn they are Welcoming the Local Hunt. By allowing them to host their Ball, one can only assume that Penmorvah Manor Hotel are comfortable with the Barbaric Past time of Killing Wildlife.

Happy to host events promoting the destruction of our countryside and beautiful wildlife. Don't deserve your custom.
