Peking Chef- new generation of My Lotus House in Barnet

Ordered vegetable chow mein, and salt pepper chips. Very delicious and spicy made upon request. Also assisted with dietary requirements. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends and ordering again!

Did not receive my chicken cow mein and then the woman on the phone proceeded to get aggressive and insist we didn’t order the chicken chow mein when i know i did.

Salt and pepper at this place, easily the best I've ever tasted! Bento box meal. What a bargain! I decided to order a couple to share with my workmates, and we were all blown away. The variety in the bento box, good portion with the reasonable price. I couldn't fault anything about the meal. Highly recommend!

Very very nice Chinese. Ordered duck noodles, chicken fried rice , prawn toast. All great portions and tasty lovely. Owner is really nice too 😊

I ordered sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice . Could barely see any egg in the rice and the sweet and sour chicken to sweet not the worst but definitely not the best. I’m going to give this food two stars out of five. My partner got a Singapore fried rice with barbecue ribs again the ribs were too much barbecue and the rice was very bland .

Ive looking for a good HALAL Chicken Chinese food for a while. Food was great. Delivery to Elstree from Edgware was 40mins. Definitely my new Chinese Takeaway place. Thank you Peking Chef. 👌🙌👊🙏

I usually use Man Hong but that take away has now closed. Tried China Palace didn't enjoy the food at all. Thought I'd give Lotus House a try and absolutely loved it! Food was fresh and nice and hot, great flavours. Will definitely be back.

the best chinese ever!! i’m so grateful that this is my local chinese because oh my god is it AMAZING! i hear people complain about the price but i think the quality of the food makes it 100% worth it. Everything is so well seasoned and fresh and i’ve never had a bad experience.

They changed owner and the food is disgusting. Everything about it. The meat feels fake it doesn’t taste good. And have some pieces what you don’t even know what is it. Don’t eat there. It was my favourite Chinese place and they ruined it!

I tried their takeaway on the weekend. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced.

Don't use often because they don't deliver if they delivered I would use all the time I spend about £70_90 a week with China palace because they deliver they must lose so much money by not delivering

I ordered a takeaway, the only positive was the quick delivery...very disappointing food I'm afraid especially the won ton soup! Which was very bland & soup looked like the water from the washing up when doing dishes!

10/10 best Chinese food I have in a while, delicous homemade taste.

Firstly, the seaweed was burnt and not crispy as advertised 'crispy seaweed'. The massaman was too oily and the portion was tiny. My rice was forgotten so all I had was a small oily massaman. Thanks

The best place to get Chinese cuisine in all of North-west London! Not only are they nice and friendly it's also relatively inexpensive. They make the tastiest vegetable spring rolls I have ever eaten! I recommend the sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice combined with beef stir fried mixed vegetables!

I’m a vegetarian so was a bit hesitant to try out this place. But the food was very delicious and the staff were very nice and friendly. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone wanting to try out authentic Chinese food.

Don't know if they are under new management, but they make one dish which you cannot find anywhere else and it rocks: coconut rice with pineapple. Their crispy duck is also very good but their crispy beef is nothing more than fried dough (no beef!) so that is disappointing. All in all, their food is reliably tasty and the only thing that they could improve (other than the chilli beef) is to arrange home delivery, even if it means sharing their drivers with other restaurants in the proximity.
