First visit for a quick takeaway - As soon as we stepped in two regulars started raving about the food and they were definitely right! The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is really clean, you can see your food being made. Will be stopping by at least once a week from now on!

The egg fried rice was good as always and curry sauce . The special fried rice should be chicken instead big peace’s of chicken mainly which should be shredded not big . No many peas. Only very few shrimps . Dysapointed please fix this

Although their cod and chips is really good (generally), I received a medium sized and soggy fish - no crispiness at all when I ordered a large. the more I orseee from this business the more I see careless approach to their cooking.

We found this place on deliveroo today and thought to try it.. food came and we really enjoyed it! Me and my partner gave it a high score. Only criticism is the prawn noodles and egg fried rice could have needed a little more flavouring but it was still nice! The Chong Qing style chicken was a diffuclt one.We wasn't sure what we were tasting maybe our taste buds were not familiar to those flavours so for us it wasn't to great, but my sweet and sour chicken and noodles were great along with the chicken balls! I will start by saying that I really don't like eating fish at all. Anyone who knows me will tell you I hate fish. I cannot stand the smell, the taste, or the texture... However, the fish and chips I had from here was in a league of its own. The fish was beautifully cooked and I couldn't fault it at all. I ordered 2 regular portions of fish and chips. I will definitely order fish and chips from here again because it was so good. 10 out of 10 guys.

what has happened now? normally good service and size but the cod regular was about the size of a few cod bites.

salt and pepper was satisfactory and average in flavour and preparation. the pieces were too tough to chew and I had crushed bits of hard coating flying as I was trying to eat

Nice family run restaurant and take away. It used to be just fish and chips but a few years ago it was bought by a very nice Chinese family who also run it, and they still do traditional fish and chips, plus a full Chinese menu and its all good stuff, and it seems that they are doing very well. It's definitely a good option for takeaway. Plus Sundays they are closed, so keep that In mind.

Very bad taste and very poor quantity! Doesn't even deserve a 1 star. This was the first time I personally walked in, and it will be the last time I do so.

The deliver driver did not deliver my order. He did not call. I had to go back to the shop to collect my order.

The best Chinese take away around here by a long way. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The fish and chips were the best I've ever had, and the Chinese food was really excellent too. However, I did mention that I shouldn't have anything"hot" due to stomach ulcers and they still served me food with chillies in! I'll still go there but it would have been good if the lady taking my order had said that what I had picked was full of chillies and I should pick something else instead.

I find that this place lacks consistency in quality and taste of food. This time the sausage in batter & prawns were soggy, not hot & the duck was 80% fat, everything lacked great flavour as freshness which is disappointing as I was happy with a previous order.

The best fish and chips around here by far. I bought it for my Dad and he said so. And he would know because he's old and loves a good fish and chips.

Cod fish is lovely, nice and crispy with a good fish to batter ratio - not soaked in grease unlike most places, I don’t really write reviews but I’ve struggled to find somewhere that doesn’t drench their fish in oil so definitely worth making note for other customer. Huge portions and food arrived lovely and hot.

I was working in the area and needed something to eat. The food is great, well priced, quickly prepared, staff efficient and friendly. I visited here twice and would definitely order here again if I was in the area.

Ring your order through and it will all be ready for you when you want it. The lemon chicken was nicely cooked with a lovely citrus sauce, loved the duck pancakes, kingprawn balls where beautifully cooked in a light batter, sweet and sour was yummy, the beef was very tender, the chow mein excellent. I could go on... All the dishes were great. Will definitely be back.

What a lovely place, very friendly ladie served me.The chap who was frying the fish asked me how my day was going and had a nice conversation with both of them. The food was excellent, surpassing all my expectations. The first thing that struck me was the kindness and friendliness of the staff. Lovely little place! The food is great, portions are big and not expensive. Everything is freshly cooked and the staff is very friendly. Our favourite take out place.

I've tried this place a few times and been disappointed every time. First time I tried their fish and chips. The fish was tasteless, oily and wet not to mention expensive. The second time, cold chips and I mean COLD wrapped for takeout. You'd think by this time I might have learned my lesson, and had to some extent, vowing never to visit again. However one last chance led to a polite confrontation with the staff over the quality and price of the food. This time chips were refried from who knows when and were chewy and hard. The chicken burger was a pathetic being more like a squashed tvp burger and if there was any chicken in there it was unrecognisable. The staff seemed to think that was acceptable quality for £6 takeout. Their menu in the window and on the counter did not reflect the prices they charged. Their Chinese food may be better (not going to try) but they're a terrible fish/chips/burger place.
