Peggotys Lounge in Great Yarmouth

The service was very friendly and interesting. The music on play was very 90s nostalgia, which was nice. Prices reasonable though options limited

Looks a bit tatty. Signs saying you can hire a VIP both for £130, look at the booths and the material was thread bear and falling apart, nothing VIP about it. Such a shame as this used to be a great venue. Doesn't look like it served food anymore

Peggoty's in Great Yarmouth is a must-visit! The staff are amazing, super friendly, and make you feel so welcome. The crowd is always lively and fun, especially on weekends. From the security team to the bartenders (Harley especially ) , everyone goes out of their way to make sure you have a great time. Ish is always around making sure guests are well taken care of. It's the perfect place to let loose and have a fantastic night out!Keep it up 😍😍! Regards Sajith .

Cocktails lush, food is actually decent in the day, got more time. Same weekend vibes and early finish means none of the ******heads turn up 😅. Good atmosphere

Was recommended this place, worst recommendation ever! A couple of the door staff were nice but that's about it, some of the bar staff weren't even interested in serving people. Another customer literally had to get one of the bar staff to serve me (door staff had to step in to serve people) , had a gentleman asking everyone for drugs in the toilets and accused me of doing drugs and to 'sort him out and why would I be in the toilet otherwise' bit odd seeing as needing the toilet is rather normal! Some drinks glasses were dirty and very short supply, the guy who appeared to be bar manager (very rude) was very clearly on drugs himself! Bar manager also kept getting people to buy him drinks, music was good though and most of the other customers were fun! Worst part for me was seeing a young lad being choked on the floor by one of the door staff. Four guys on one young lad who didn't even resist in the slightest, seeing one of the door staff wrap his hand round the guys throat was very disturbing and several people had to tell him to stop as it was completely unacceptable. More de-escalating training needs to be given to door staff as that could have ended very badly! Several people left after seeing how the door staff behaved towards the young man. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone visiting Yarmouth for a night out, based from other reviews on this establishment it wouldn't surprise me if they claimed this review to be fake! And to make up excuses for how the door staff treated people. More staff training and cleanliness is definitely needed.

Not the best place to go for a good night ... Someone was dealing drugs right in front of me and security didn't do anything

Worse bar we been to. Dirty tables , dirty glasses . Toilets disgusting. Bar staff miserable. Couldn't wait to move on to the next bar .

Terrible behaviour from the people that come here and even worse from the bar staff and security - a fight happened when we were there we got pushed, drenched and bruised from the experience and all they had to say was move out of the way. I don’t know how we could have moved out of the way without being pushed into corners and then ignored.

Service with a smile and 2 for 1 cocktails before 21.00

I spend 80 Pounds, and they don't let me enter back in te pub, after then I go outside 10 minutes. Very pathetic place. 0 Stars

We went here last night after being recommended by a local. It was fairly quiet, but the customers in there were yobs, slouched over tables and chairs draped in gold chains eyeing us up making my sister feel very uncomfortable. Tables were sticky, floor needs a good mop, a dress code could sort the look of the clientele out? After the grim toilet visit and seeing there is a camera in the men’s toilet, although it looks fake, it shouldn’t be in there and made me feel uncomfortable.we left out drinks and walked out. This could be a lovely pub. Plus side, the bar maid was friendly.

Good for a night out with friends

We had a fantastic evening at Peggotys Lounge bar. Admittedly, it can and is a bit pricy, especially for their cocktails, but still, a good evening, and the bar staff and manager were very friendly. There was one particular person named Jay that stood out, the one in the picture....Great service JAY, thanks you.

Jasmine was the best waitress EVER! Made sure we always has a a drink on the go. Food was good and she always checked in with us. Couldn't fault!

We happened to go in here for a drink as someone suggested it. Music was good, plenty of room to dance, drinks reasonably priced. However one of the bouncers needs to seriously have more awareness when checking bags. If you’re checking someones bag then check it and move along. You never know what people have wrong medically or why people carry what they do in their bags, your staff should respect peoples privacy and not make a joke out of it to the crowd. Found her checks of our female bags pretty rude, loud and just an invasion of privacy. People could be going through anything. Pretty shameful behaviour really.

Great place to let your hair down. Music is amazing with good DJs Great staff and door staff. Never felt so safe as I do there. Great prices. Highly recommended for a great night out 6 nights a week

Overcrowded and very poor layout, to go to the loo, or bar or out for a smoke or to try and cool down you have to walk straight across the middle of the dance floor which is tiny as is the ridiculously small and rammed outside area, drinks knocked over happen almost as often as getting drinks spilt on you

A group of 8 of us came and had a great night out when we were on holiday. A woman at another bar had recommended Peggotys to us. Started with our experience on the door where the security lady was friendly and welcoming, in fact all the security team were cool. We arrived on karaoke night which in some places could be awful but was great and didn't stop the flow of the night. Bar staff were great and a big thank you to Harvey who was the best barman! A mix of people full of good vibes. Stays open later than other bars in the area. Thank you for a great night to all at Peggotys.

Nice place to sit and relax when we visited. The background music wasn't too loud. Great selection of beers, wines,spirits and cocktails. The staff very friendly and polite.

My sister was spiked here and nearly lost her life! We told the bar staff 3 of our drinks had been spiked and they were taken for “testing” and we got new drinks but nothing else was done. No police were rung and nothing was looked further into

Absolutely recommend this place, I broke my foot on holiday and came in here a few nights later and I can not fault the staff everyone from the owner, bar staff to the security were absolutely amazing from helping me getting into peggotys to helping me get down the stairs in my wheelchair to go toilet. I would 100% come back here!

Great place to visit if clubbing, amazing atmosphere good service and music, honestly recommend after pre drinks.

Wasn't a great experience. It smelt funky as we walked in, the floor and tables were sticky. The drinks were so awful we didn't even finish them (which is a rarity). It was a shame as I was looking forward to trying out a few of their signature cocktails but when they can't get a mojito right it seemed pointless asking for anything else.

Had a great night. Cocktail are amazing!!! Awesome DJ on when I went. Friendly staff. Clean loos, always a plus 😊. Definitely go again! 🍸

Visited last night whilst on a trip, Great staff and music. Only downside is after spending 5 minutes trying to show our covid pass, then when we paid the door man to get in, gave him a tenner, he put a fiver IN HIS MOUTH and then gave it to us as part of our change. Might want to have a word about that.

Absolutely awful. The only thing worse than the food is the customer service. Such a shame. Continue to support local, but avoid this place at all costs and you’ll be doing yourself a favour.

Great bar, friendly staff, i think I was old enough to be everyone's dad but felt very welcome. Smoked/vaped? Shisha and drank beers.

Fantastic bar for a night out, the atmosphere was wonderful and it was clean. The bar staff were friendly and worked well, however I think it was understaffed for a cocktail bar on a Saturday night. 30-40 minute wait to be served by the hardworking staff.

Love this place, amazing Cocktails and the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly.

Food was delicious 🍴 cocktails were amazing 🍹 the staff were mediocor, however one persevering and respectable young man (blue plaits/dreadlocs) who was more then deserving of a tip, twice over! He made our experience here and for many others on Friday, his crewmates on the night weren't feeling as up for it maybe, but he anchored the bar and was busy on his feet tending to our needs and the needs of the many. Perhaps this wasn't his first rodeo, or perhaps he is just cool as ice under pressure either way a juggernaut in his industry and will flourish, in any environment, he deserves acknowledgement for the cool head he shows when called upon.

Did have a problem with the order, but after talking to owner she sorted the issue, and for that I thank you

For me this is the Best night club in Yarmouth, friendly staff and good music for karaoke and can watch games as well simply good!

Ordered a takeaway. told this would take 45 minutes. An hour later still no delivery. We made phone contact at least 3 times and was told it was on route. 2 1/2 later still no delivery. Egg and bacon rolls for tea instead. Will not be attempting to order from here again. Shame as the menu looked really interesting

The food is top notch! Absolutely fantastic food! Couldn't fault anything. From ordering to the service from the delivery driver! Everything was brilliant. Will certainly be ordering again! 10/10!!!!
