went to join several others waiting to order by the tills. the 2 guys inside were chatting to eachother, laughing, and completely ignoring everyone waiting to order. they were also moving incredibly slow despite telling my friends it was over a half hour wait for a burger.. after about 10 minutes of waiting we were finally asked if we were waiting to order, to which i said yes, and he muttered rudely something about how we weren’t standing close enough to the till ..? Was so taken aback i walked away without ordering , they clearly didn’t want customers ! shocking customer service

Love the burgers here—they're always juicy and packed with flavor! The Sunday deal is awesome with the buy-one-get-one for £1 offer. However, the service can be a hit or miss, feeling a bit off at times during the week. For instance, even when it wasn't busy, I had to wait a long time for my burgers and then they forgot to include the free fries that come with the weekday deal. Apparently, you have to ask for them, which was a bit frustrating. Despite the service quirks, the burgers are definitely worth it if you're craving a tasty beef patty. Just be prepared for a little attitude and a wait at times.

The fries were very good but the burgers were small and took absolutely ages to cook, despite the place being quiet. I waited 20 minutes for my burger, then partner's came about 10 minutes later, after I'd finished mine. This type of food is designed to be quick and satisfying.

Do you like Burgers? Yes? Then you'll love Patty Smith's. Proper good whether you like plant based or meat. I used to eat meat and loved their burgers. Now I don't eat meat, but still love their burgers, so everyone's a winner really.

Very nice vegetarian options, high quality imitation meat or beetroot based burgers.

Best burgers in Leeds. We waited 20 min on every occasion but it's worth. What an amazing meal from that small kitchen.

The dirty burger is a must-have. Colleagues and friends agree. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with a great roof terrace.

The burgers used to be excellent. We'd visit every Sunday because of the good offer. Recently they decided they have to systematically overcook the patties in low heat (I guess some new health regulations I do not care about) until they are rubber soles, even if you tell them "please do not overcook and dry out my burger". Not cool, for a joint that literally has only one thing to get right.

It's worth saying the Belgrave Music Hall is a wonderfully designed location, offering reasonably priced pizzas, by the slice, with vegan options available. At the back they currently have 'Patty Smith's burgers' pop up selling burgers with a large number of vegan and vegetarian options, including offering the 'Impossible' burger! All good so far then. I came here on a Sunday with an 84 year old to sample their vegan and vegetarian burgers. Placed an order and was warned it would take an hour or so due to how busy they were. All good. About 30mins in I realised the b12 burger was the 'impossible burger' something I was excited to try. I asked if the order had been made yet, it hadn't. I asked if I could upgrade to the Impossible burger. The gentleman serving wasn't willing to do so. When I suggested we could cancel the order and put a new one through. He said he could but that our order would then go to the back of the queue!!! We couldn't wait that long so stuck with the burgers. The burgers when arrived seemed high quality (I had the beetroot burger), however NONE of the toppings, pickles or mayonnaise had been included. Perhaps the gentleman was frustrated because of our asking if we could change the order. Or perhaps he doesn't care for people who aren't white. Who can explain?! Anyone of a brown complexion will be aware of the unfortunate racial profiling of many of the night time establishments in Leeds. It's also worth noting that Patty Smith's burgers USE GMO (genetically modified) soy bean oil!!! I fail to understand why they would do this with all the other options available. It's unnecessary although cheaper than a non GMO oil. At least they mentioned it in the small print. Unfortunate 'Jobsworth' service ruined the experience, lack of care in putting the burgers together after having waited for so long, is at best, careless. Finally the use of GMO soy oil is just ridiculous and adds to the sense Patty Smith's don't really care about their customers. I normally only leave 5 star reviews and am always supportive of places catering to a vegan audience. The Patty Smith's experience left alot to be desired. Unfortunate because it seemed so promising.

It's good, BUT — over an Hour and 10 minutes for two burgers and fries. No mate.

Fantastic burgers, amazing chips, up there with the burger greats, simple, honest and effective at a great price. The session fries are something else.
