Went twice now , the patties maybe the best round town, no exaggerating either, try very light which you want as if that a little starter then should be light, they hit it on the nail with that. The jerk chicken rice meal nice, but bit more gravy is required as alot of rice which is great as you get alot of chicken, great food

Curry goat patty and shrimp patty slapped. They do however have a cheat boxing machine kmt 😒. Soon come bak with the uppercut technique

Great tasting freshly baked patties and coco bread but no options for vegetarians or pescetarians. Didn't have any of the special patties either.

I sent my son to buy a “ Full Palace and Drink” Everything came except the salad that was supposed to be a part of the “ Full Palace “. Why did the staff continue to ask customers if they “ want the salad “ isn’t the “salad” a part of the “ Full Palace?” Even after he answered yes, they still did not include it! Only after he arrived home he realised it wasn’t there. I asked him where is the salad, he said, they asked him “ if he wants the salad and he answered yes”

Lamb patty: fresh, hot and flaky but DAMN bland, patties need seasoning and love, very tasteless Cornmeal porridge: thick, creamy and full of flavour and not too sweet Jerk chicken: dead, a little bland.. wasn't much flavour to it Nevertheless, everything was made fresh on the day A revisit from me? ...... probably NOT

Bad service and the patty tasted like it had cat food inside, absolutely horrible. Avoid…. There are better Jamaican places in Thornton Heath

At Christmas we purchase their duck bread, Bulla, it was gone in a couple of days, our quests wanted more, unfortunately the shop was shut for the festive season. The staff are very friendly, we also experience their rum punch. I recommended my friend, and have been spreading the news, how fantastic the bread, Bulla, fruit Bun is. For Easter I purchased the bread and fruit Bun for myself and for friends. The Jeek chicken is also delicious, not too spicy My son really enjoys it, as he usually only eats from mama's kitchen Thank you Patty Palace for bringing home made food to our community

Staff are always friendly. Food is well priced and tastes good.

Cashier needs hospitality training. Don't behave as if you were forced to get out to work and even if that's the case its not customers fault. Show appreciation by acknowledging customers when they come into the shop to spend their hard earned money.

The best Pea's soup I have had in a very long time. My only wish would be for a bigger portion. Very tasty, just like mama's own. Warning, contains Chicken Foot, not a problem for me, but maybe for some.

The burgers in Whip n Flip next door by the same people are incredible, and the owner tweaked it perfectly to make it spicier for me with a delicious mango chilli sauce. Seriously good food.

Worse set of patties I ever taste. There’s no difference between the chicken and beef. No seasoning no taste no pepper no nutten. Coco bread just shape good that’s it. Lazy jamaican catering. One star coz the pastry was okay ish. Other half said the bag hav more flavour.

I have tried many Jamaican take aways in London and Patty Palace is tied with one of the longest running for the top spot. The oxtail and jerk chicken never disappoints but the stand out here are their baked goods. The patty reminds me of home with each bite staying true to its roots. However while the patty is great the one thing no other restaurant even comes close to creating is the COCO BREAD (yes I had to shout...it is that good) this soft buttery bread is the perfect acompanyment to a patty or loaded with chicken and vegetables. If you have never tried a meal from patty Palace you need to. If I could give 10 stars I would

Annoying because their patties are always ‘sold out’ then when I do manage to order when they have patties available they never ever send the correct amount I ordered. Their patties are so nice but it’s such a let down that they rarely have it in stock. MAJOR DISSAPOINTMENT.

2 years ago I could go there and order without any difficulty. Now since then every week I pop in there, they only have 15%of what they are advertising. PLEASE do not waste your time!!!! This shop needs to be closed down.

Teefin restaurant, made an order they only sent half, offered no refund, no redelivery just telling me I should pop in and say my name to collect my food. After explaining I'm on n hr lunch in East Croydon. She telling ne cone to Thornton heath n collect it after THEY messed up my order. Kmft! I'm so livid. Do spend your coin here they will teen it.

Lamb patty was good but box meal was not nice. It was quite tasteless and I didn't finish it. I got the jerk chicken and rice and peas, poor selection of drinks. I'll opt for dellys next time.

I used JUST Eat website to order from Patty Palace and everytime I'm ordering which was 3 times so far are they never had any patties available. It always says item unavailable so I have to order something else. The food is great delivery is really fast but I'm giving it 2 stars because often what they say is on the menu is not available. Maybe the restaurant can look at that to make it better for customers. Thank you

If you are feeling hungry and have a Jamaican nostalgia- this is the place to go. The patties are hot, fresh and will have you eating the last crumb in the bag.

Best lamb patties in heath, dumplings n festivals also. Soup on par too ‼️ I recommend as food on point always n superb customer service everytime which u don't usually get in these carribean establishments these days.

Arrived at 12.25 Sydenham branch for meal deal which I've had loads of times. However, no exceptions made was told that it starts at 12.30. Refused to sell. So petty.

Our team had such a good experiance our first visit was able to call through and place our order, so to my dismay when we tried to order off the lunch menu this afternoon to be told they can't do it and that i had to go there and order it in person was a bit upsetting. I had also asked if they could still accomedate me and still give me the lunch time offer as I was coming from the hospital and would reach a little later than 2pm to be told No I felt was a bit unreasonable considering that your establishment promotes nhs and a 15% discount also but couldn't even offer a decent amount of customer service. This will be my first and last experience with patty palace and will also be informing my team.

It hard to say however, the food is not bad it isn't the best the parties are ok as there aren't many places in the UK that make them mush better. My biggest down fall is us Jamaicans who don't know how to give good customer service and to treat people with respect. I visited recently after having deliveries previously and the lady that came out to serve was so rude, She asked what we wanted to order and then said to me, it 20 minutes I said to her ok no problem and I continued to order other item items and she really didn't want to take the order and just walked off and left me standing her collogue noticed that something was wrong and took over. That is what brings us down on most occasions.

Seriously? I wish I didnt have to say this but this is the only way they'll know. Everything is just lacking flavour - salt and pepper are the only things I can taste and far too much salt. Veggie patty was gross - like sweet chilli patty?? Stew peas - uninteresting and everything tastes old and over-cooked.

Ordered a large beans and saltfish with hard food breakfast via Uber Eats expecting to receive hard food, e.g. yam, potato, dumplings, banana. Instead I got banana and dumplings - no yam etc and the food was cold on arrival. When I called to enquire why, I was told they'd sold out of yam and don't serve it with potato. No apology or nothing. Very unhappy with the customer service and quality. Won't be ordering again.

I’m a Regular customer - however disappointed by the constant rude service by a particular member of staff who works the early morning shift (slim/wears a turban). I am still yet to speak to the manager about her appalling attitude on multiple occasions this year for no reason at all, to the point it makes you no longer want to support the business. Other than that , the food here is nice. Peanut Porridge and cocoa bread in the morning still remains my favourite (just without the horrible customer service)! Also My most recent visit I was outside at 7am Saturday morning in the cold for opening , which then lead me to politely knock as staff could see me but still not opening the door. Only to then be told 5 minutes later to come back in 15 minutes. When I did return , lo and behold I was served by the rude lady mentioned above.

Just ordered stew chicken and rice& peas and this is the worst your food look and taste..Not even a drop of gravy to eat the rice with I am so disappointed. Wont be ordering anymore.

This place never has patties. U cannot buy what u want when they do have them. When I rang up to complain the disgusting woman was rude, did not want to listen to my complaint and hung up the phone. This is why Jamaican take away will never prosper!

This is my wife's favourite spot to order patty's from. The rest of the food is pretty good, not the best I've ever had but when my go to spots are closed/out of stock I always check out this place for some food that reminds me of home.

Patty Palace Catford. Today was my first and last experience. Really wanted to support you but found it hard. Especially when you serve ppl that jump the que. Image they came in after me. Cut to the til. Then hand you money over my head??? Poor customer sevice is one thing. Poor business skills is another - my order 6 x patty. Que jumper order 2 x patty. Do the math because I walked out leaving you, the que jumper and my order.

This was the worst possible place to have chosen to eat,ordered curry chicken and it had a funny almost raw flesh smell thats the only way i could describe the smell and when biting in to it low and behold undercooked chicken!!!! Awful awful Also refused to give refund

Okay but you have to get there early in the day to get nice food.

Have only tried a chicken patty, it had too much pepper and not enough flavour or filling for me. However I will go back to try more items. Staff also seemed quite nonchalant in their customer service and pace. On Saturday, one server and one on the till, and the latter didn’t appear to be quick numerically. Limited parking is also an issue.

It's like trying to get blood out of a stone.....am I wrong in thinking that with a name like PATTY PALACE shouldnt their speciality be patties.... they should have and excessive amount, by the looks of these reviews they wouldn't waste... come on PATTY PALACE sort this out please I need these in my life...

Cashier was unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. The line was very long and I asked can someone else come help or process the orders a bit quicker. Her response wasnt customer friendly at all. The patties are the best in Croydon no doubt

The best patties ever so flaky and the filling is so tasty, nothing compares, also the food is delicious, love the chicken foot soup and curry goat. I’ve been so often and even though the line is long they move so fast in no time it’s your turn. This place is so refreshing because it’s black owned and they’ve managed to achieve something rarely found in Caribbean shops, fast good service always with a smile. Keep it up.

Gone to this place called PATTY PALACE 3 times now & have yet to obtain 1 simple patty.. its forever “we have no patties left” my mate goes through the same problem. Ridiculous

Food...10/10 Service...10/10 Only reason not a 5 star review is because they seem to run out of pattys so quickly...even when booking a couple of hours in advance. Definitely would recommend.

Excellent customer service - even at busy periods. Staff are courteous and very attentive. Food is freshly made and patties present flaky fresh. Vegetable options are excellent. Banana bread is tastastic :) . Recommendation to everybody this Top Shop London

Food was superb! The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because at 2pm they had alre4sold our of vegetable patties.

Food was the best yet ! We had Oxtail & Curry Goat. They also carry Rum & raisin ice cream which was delicious my hubby had Blue Mountain coffee. Just a very authentic restaurant was clean & quaint with great customer service. We'll definitely be back!

Disgusting attitude from the girl at the counter. Barely responded to anything that customers are asking, and when she did decide to give an answer it was extremely rude and unhelpful. All i did was ask for a patty to be heated slightly more, and she threw it in the microwave and told me I should asked her to do this before, as if I would know before that it wasn't warm enough? Then walked away from me. I like the food here but please do NOT employ girls who have no interest in serving people with a smile or basic manners.

The customer service was fantastic, a rarity in Caribbean take aways. The food was well seasoned and tasty. The portion sizes very generous. I've found my new spot!

Patty palace has to be the best patty place I have been to in London. I have visited Jamaica and I must say the taste of the patties are authentic to the Caribbean originals, compared to other Caribbean restaurants that offer patties. However, it must be said that if one wants a quick and decent meal other than their superb patties, then they also provide that. Decent being the key word here, I find their flavours on main meals on the sweet side. There are other Caribbean restaurants that specialises in main foods such as curries and brown stews that taste more authentic than Palcace's. But again, for it's price, comparatively, it's a decent lunch or dinner if one is just hungry. All in all, Patty Palace is the King/Queen of Caribbean Patties in London.

Pastry is the right amount of flakey, the texture is spot on. Just the amount of meat is small Great patty for sure!!

Yesterday bought a item for sale "chicken" soup from the shop. Returned to work, opened the container and discovered it was chicken claw. There was no chicken meat. I was bitterly disappointed and felt I been robbed. I assume when a eatery advertise chicken in the title, I expect to see chicken meat - not a chicken claw. I believe in supporting small businesses but in this case I would not recommend Pattie Palace.

The customer service at this shop is appauling, they always have a dirty un approachable look on their face. Though the patties are decent doubt i’d want to buy anything from your shop anymore. Been there three times and I received nothing but negative attitudes with the workers.

This is the worst porridge that i have seen in my life and inconsistency with opening time. If you say 7am start, then be ready for a 7am, Wednesday and Saturday not open on time. More like a 7.30am today.

Ordered Large Oxtail and Curry Goat with white rice. The meals were lovely full of flavour and the portions were really a large. The customer service was A* very polite and delivery of the food was on time I would definitely be ordering again Thank You For The Lovely Food And Service
