Had the honey ginger burger which was nice enough, a little small for the money but not outrageous… The chips on the other hand, that was daylight robbery! I added chips for £4 and I got 26 chips - so few I actually bothered to count them. I had to do a double take when I looked in the chip bag.

Portions could be better for the price.

I'd have taken a picture of the meal but it was sooo freaking good I couldn't help myself! Crispiest, tastiest chicken burgers out there. Wings my only issue is that they are not bigger. Sauce, they've got the sauce... A wide selection but missing some citrus. It's pricey but if you want proper chicken this is the place. This place is fighting my wallet for my heart. And I'm ok with it.

Buffalo is nowhere near spicy and tangy enough and should be served with blue cheese but think it was ranch. Chips were fine but a lot broken. Chipotle mayo was good

Delicious chicken and toppings, and service was nice and quick. Everything fresh and tasty. Only thing is the portions could do with a tweak in parallel with price. I spent about 15 quid and the burger seemed tiny in my hand, almost a slider! Also the fries were just enough for a handful and were basic thin cut frozen chips you could get anywhere else. I’d totally go again, though. They’ve certainly got their own unique recipes and know how to cook chicken well. I’ll just need to bring a sandwich with me to fill me up properly next time! And maybe take out a mortgage 🤣

Ordered on Deliveroo. Came swiftly, food was hot. Very tasty burger filled with generous amounts of juicy chicken. Wings varied in size but were all pretty meaty. Excellent sauces across the board but that miso butter gravy was outstanding.

The chicken tasted like it was out all day. I bought the buy one get one free deal and it was tough and stringy. Ordered before but was OK then. But I won't order again. sauce is great but can't help but feel because I ordered the meal deal I got the left overs. no on. Better to pay more somewhere else. That's my opinion take it or leave it.

ranch burger missing pickles, which makes it really good burger. Taste plain without sour bit. Buffalo burger had them and was perfect

Coqfighter is one of my favourite places to eat in Croydon. I can't get enough of their monthly burgers and K wings. If you want a meal worth the money you can't go wrong with them

In an area with many a fried chicken joint, coqfighter is my go to for crispy fried chicken burgers! Great quality and taste and love their Collab burgers to try something different (although the honey ginger buffalo is always a winner)

We ordered burgers and wings through deliveroo last week and we couldn’t eat after a bite. Im not sure what meat that was but it was not chicken.. the meat was black, red and pink. This made us feel sick. Avoid eating from this restaurant for your own safety. They don’t use good meat or cook their meat properly.

The chicken was awful. Very dry and salty. I ended up giving half of it to the dog. Chips and coleslaw ok but generally not impressed.

I order delivery from here all the time, and occasionally eat in person too. The burgers are always delicious, in my opinion possibly the crispiest and tastiest chicken burgers out of any chain. Would thoroughly recommend.

We used to enjoy Coqfighter chicken burgers, which we ordered through deliveroo, because it was chicken THIGHS, juicy and tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. However in our recent orders, we have been disappointed by the DRY chicken BREAST and the bread (which used to be brioche buns). Such a shame as we loved Coqfighter and thought it was the best chicken burger in town. Not ordering again, unless we see some real improvement. Will keep an eye on the reviews.

Uncooked chicken. How hard is to cook chicken??? Raw meat. Never ever ordering again. I will report you guys

CAUTION and WARN!! DO NOT and I repeat do not go to this restaurant inside Boxpark as they had several complaints about there chicken not being cooked properly meaning the chicken was raw and other times it was grey and spoiled which has caused many cases of food poisoning reported by customers which you can see from reviews here and on other platforms such as Tripadvisor and Trustpilot! Myself and my friend went there after work last week Thursday 23rd of November to get some dinner and for the next couple of days after this we fell sick with severe food poisoning which we are only “slowly”starting to recover from now! We will be reporting this restaurant to local health authorities to ensure appropriate action is taken to hold them accountable. If you are the owner/management reading this you should be disgusted with how many complaints you received from customers about this for years now and you are still risking the lives of people by selling uncooked and spoiled chicken! I’m doing this to prevent others from having similar experiences.

We ordered from deliveroo, as usual. This used to be the best chicken burger in London. Our delivery kept being delayed when the food was ready to collect. Was delayed by about 1h tonight. Obviously when it arrived and came in cold and stale. I understand it is not your fault that there weren’t any drivers to collect the food for delivery. However, you are ultimately responsible for making sure your customers get their foods at least luke warm (i get it, it’s a delivery). The approach you should have had was realising that your customer was going to get a mediocre experience and find a solution! It would have been preferable to make the food again so it would be delivered fresh. Once you solved the above you should then take it with Deliveroo and explain that you had to redo a delivery due to lack of drivers to pick up the order on time. But no, you instead decided to ignore and let the food be delivered cold anyway… common, I am sure you can do better than this. Your burgers are exceptional but you are letting situations like this impact the quality of your food. You have to be better than this! You know what is worst than a disappointed customer? A disappointed loyal customer.

The food tasted good. I had a burger and buffalo wings. Reason for 4 stars is just down to the price, in my opinion I think it's expensive.

Management are extremely poor and inactive, they do not listen to complaints so we have had to write reviews. Their food is undercooked and his place isn't clean. Avoid this place.

I just had an Original burger! Was so fresh,crunchy,taste was amazing!!! The two staff was so friendly,them uniform was so clean. My food was ready in 6 minutes. Well done boys,excellent job! Came here about a month ago- Usually love it. Sadly I bit into My chicken burger to find it was raw inside. Instantly felt sick. I went to them to complain and they apologised refunded and offered to make another burger. But at that point there was no way I could eat there again. The chef told then said that they “half” cook the chicken in the morning, freeze it, then recook again? Not really sure any other restaurant ever does this. EAT WITH CAUTION FOLKS!

Best chips we’ve ever had!!!!!!!!!! The chicken bites were lovely! Garlic Mayo was very strong, full of flavour - very very nice. Bf had the burger which he said was lovely, really good but it was just dripping from the beetroot unfortunately. So he left some due to the water absorption. But otherwise the overall taste was brilliant!

Ordered the original burger with chips and buffalo sauce. Burger was juicy and full of flavour, chips were tasty and buffalo sauce was a nice added touch to the chips, would definitely recommend.

Got the green chilli burger with a side of fried. Wasn't too greasy and chicken was cooked perfectly. Chips were also perfect. No complaints. £6 burgers from Mon to Wed would be an absolute steal.

This is the worst chicken I've ever had. When I first bit into it, it honestly tasted like fish to me. I was so confused and thought I'd accidentally ordered fish bites or something. The batter to 'chicken' ratio was so off as well. When I opened it up to check it the chicken looked completely off colour. It was pretty disgusting.

Firstly I want to say; I'm a chicken boy! Love love love chicken. But this didn't taste like chicken. I got the chicken bites and from the excessive batter, the off colour, to an almost fishy taste??? It was all just slightly off. The honey buffalo dip wasn't too bad but it merely acted as cover up for how terrible the chicken really was. Some would say It was a momentary deception. No hate to the staff or anything because you all seemed really nice but please up your chicken game. No lie, after eating some of this I had to get some pizza as a pallette cleanser.

Had the k wings, they had pretty much no meat on them. Expect 80% greasy batter for 20% meat. Wouldn't order again.

Ordered the vegan burger. Tasted like chicken which is great!. But I'm not a regular vegan so what do I know? They had a 'special offer' which made the burgers £6 which makes me shudder to think what they are usually. But all in all good price. But don't know if I pay full price.

Not sure why the reviews aren’t better. I always order from Coqfighter Croydon from Deliveroo and they are one of my favorite fast food restaurants in Croydon. I usually get the original burger without hot sauce, loaded fries and K wings, I’ve never had an issue with my order and I find it extremely delicious! Their fried chicken is incredibly tasty and I miss their fried chicken buns! Love their pickled onions and super fast delivery 10-20mins.

I was at Coqfighter Monday and ordered (and paid) at 11am through the app. The guy in the shop said they weren't open til 12pm, but he made my food anyway. A few hours later, I got an email saying my order was refunded! I tried calling yesterday, but no one answered. I'd like to pay for my food, so please get in touch. The vegan chicken burger was delicious, by the way.

While the bites were lovely, I was really looking forward to the wings but I didn’t expect the added feathers. It looked like it was still in flight. I can’t eat it without stripping off the skin where the seasoning is. Disappointed and disgusted.

We ordered 3 burgers and couldn’t eat them, chicken was Grey like it had been cooked hours ago and reheated. - £10 and the chicken isn’t cooked fresh? WONT BE GOING BACK. Have complained Via Deliveroo.

Hmm. Bit of an odd experience. One chips lovely and golden and hot, another set pale, flaccid and stone cold. Had the honey and ginger burger and the green chilli burger. Both burgers started off really nice and tasty, then at the halfway point both turned into shoe leather you literally had to tear at with your teeth to get through. A shame as the flavours were lovely, just poorly executed and inconsistent.

Literally the best fries I ever had!! Thin and crispy fires topped with complex taste of dashi/bonito. I thought it might be spicy but it’s not spicy at all. Today I went back to the store only for the fries because it’s really addicting. Will come back again ☺️

Amazing Chicken burgers and wings me and my partner ordered this for a takeaway and we definitely were blown away by the sheer quality and quantity of food we were given. One of the best chicken burgers we’ve both ever had. This is definitely the place to visit if your in Boxpark Croydon!

We decided to try it out as all love a good burger and hubby's favourite is chicken. The shop is very small with one person taking orders and another cooking. No queue when we arrived and a couple of tables inside but not really somewhere you would be tempted to sit. Plenty of communal tables outside in main food court area though and good atmosphere there as showing world cup games. We choose the regular burgers and the bao buns with chicken goujons and fries to share as sides and a couple of extra mayos to try as well. It took about 15 mins from ordering until ready.

Poor service food arrived cold n clearly stale

I used to love eating here but recently it seems their chicken supplier has changed. The burgers and bao are soo much smaller but you still have to pay the same!

I am (and seems the staff are also) confused by as to whether you are halal or not. Many reviews claim that you are and your staff also claim you are, but how can that be so when your frying the chicken wings with alcohol on them!? And using that same oil to then fry everything else in it?! Also whilst i was reading the menu i saw a customer pick up a "vegan" burger, but again i saw the bread being toasted ona flat top next to a piece of chicken and fries that had been fried again in the same oil as the chicken!! It seems this place is trying to tick boxes without knowing what their actually doing! Disgusting and shocking practices!! 100% AVOID!!

It is one of our locals and Croydon known for its Chicken shops. These guys don't let you down and know-how to supply you with the 'Hot Wings' (and previously a sneaky burger, outrageous and tasty too) Excellent service, fair pricing and perfect being in Boxpark if watching anything on the Big Screen! Giving it an A+++++ LDT x

Crunchy wings but not much flavour.

Not been for a while but popped off train into box park on way hone to watch end of cricket - had to pop into coq fighter for some food - great friendly service and chicken wings fantastic.

had the best burger I've had in a LONG time yesterday, cooked to absolute perfection!!!!! hats off to the chef ;D service was great too, the young man was very charming and made a great recommendation. will definitely be returning soon.

I used to love eating here until I got welcomed by the life hating employee who wears a beany. The least he could do is smile and take my money. Truely a miserable experience for a good tasting burger which is made with passion.

Best chicken burger I've ever had!

Service has gone downhill here, last 2 times ordering there have been wings missing - previously ordered 16 wings and there were 2 missing, just ordered 7 wings for collection, paid £8, get home to find only 5 wings. I don’t expect to have to check every order to ensure it’s correct before I leave. Will not be ordering again, as fast food shouldn’t be this taxing. Great food, but poor attention to detail.

There was 2 Chicken Boa's but I got too hungry before taking the photo! Taste was on point and the chicken was seasoned well and not dry With the price, I felt they should have given you 3 Boa's instead you of 2 Staff were friendly and had a decent playlist I recommend trying the place out!

I had a quick visit at coqfighter(BP Croydon)today.Had a original burger and i loved it.The lady who served me today were amazing.I will just come back for that lady(short hair) and the other lady with the glasses were amazing aswell.The other black lady with long hair she was very rude,if she was the one who was working i was not bothered to come by at coqfighter.#justsaying
