Waited 2.5hrs for a Balti & Masala, when it arrived the Masala was the hottest curry I’ve ever eaten, inedible, threw it away.

pre ordered for 8:30pm, order placed at 6:30pm. food was an hour and a half late, really disappointed, normally love eating from here but will have to find somewhere else now.

Food was excellent, Madras curry was on the verge of Vindaloo heat but very tasty. Sag Paneer contained lots of cheese. Everything was hot and well packaged. Will order again, thanks.

The driver banged the door so hard he’s woken my children (9month old and 2yr old) who are now crying and I can’t eat my dinner. Why the need! I was sat in the front window, with lights on and curtains and blinds open so I can see him arrive !?!

wouldn't have left a review about the lateness but the food wasn't delivered at 7.30 as Justeat say it was more like 7.50...food lovely as ever when it came but wasn't as hot as it should have been... may stick to collections in future.

Just ordered a Patenga box, Wow, 30 min delivery, which is excellent,food was outstandanding. Flavour was spot on and more. Highly recommend giving them a go. The patenga rice, try it, you will not be disappointed and portion size was very generous. Thankyou.

tikka masala perfect, 3 naans burnt to a crisp, chicken balti was tough and felt more like pork

wow just wow, the food came early, it was piping hot, the starters were spot on. Main course so tasty, sauce was thick and luxurious. Flavour amazing, normally a little quality is comprimised when having take away, not this time. Naan bread light and fluffy, definatly recommend, will use again for sure

The portion of chicken in the wrap needs to be more not just 3-4 tiny pieces of it. The meat box doesn’t have enough chicken there are too much sides in it, even paid extra £2 to have chicken instead of lamb. The chips is nice.

Usually very good food from this place but today has been one of the worst I've had from here. 1hr 20 for delivery, no apology from the driver, just shoved the food in my hand and walked away. Food was cold, nann bread stale, balti was dry barely any sauce. A real let down unfortunately.

Ordered a takeaway for the first time tonight. Great value for all we had. Delivery 30 minutes earlier than stated when ordered. All good was piping hot alongside huge portions. Ordered vegetable samosa starter. Mains of vegetable Dhansak and Chicken Tikka Tawa with pilau rice side dish of saag paneer and plain naan. Everything was exceptional. Will definitely be ordering again.

Tried a few different curry takeaways and this was the best by far. Excellent taste & quality.

Food arrived and there were no poppadoms. Opened up the chicken dansak and chicken tikka massala curries, and they had heap amounts of vegetable oil on top of the curry. Too much oil.

Chicken madras (our regular option) was excellent in fact the whole order of food was very hot in temperature and delicious. First time of eating was Dupazia which was not too spicy or hot had subtle flavours which were delicious we are ordering that again. With naan bread and papadums of course !!! Well done Patenga!

Flavours were great on the curry but I prefer a smoother blend of curry sauce. I am not a fan of chunks of onion in my curries so I wish they had an option to have the curry blended more. Apart from that a very nice flavoured curry. Delivery was on time.

Having lived in Redditch for over 20yrs, the biggest challenge I’ve found for this type of food is lack of consistency. You find a place, you order, it comes out brilliant and you order the same again, only to find it’s not so good. First time ordering from here, Chicken Tikka Madras and Peshwari naan. Good depth of flavour to the Madras and, for me, a good amount of heat. If I was being really nit-picky, a touch less tomato and it would have been perfect, otherwise, that doesn’t detract from the service or the quality. Naan was delicious. Well filled and hot. Because of the inconsistency around here, we’ve had to venture into Birmingham for our curry fix. Here’s hoping that will change. 👍🏻

Ordered a chicken Jalfrezi and Nan , collected and travelled home , plated my food ready to eat and noticed they actually gave me a chicken vindaloo , called them up to explain the mistake and they refused to change and remake what I had ordered , the guy was very patronising and rude on the phone , do your self a favour and use the Sharhi Palace , I went there for my Jalfrezi and Sherman gave it me for free after what I had told him had happened , don’t make that mistake again ,

Working in the local town for the night fancied a curry, seen this on just eat, so ordered myself some food, delivery on time, food was hot, curry had a good amount of meat. The rice was nice alittle bit greasy but not the end of the world, nan bread now that's different, cheese chilli keema nan, just couple of bites no spice then there it was, nice spice to it, overall not bad at all, will probably order from here again when I'm in town

We order a Lamb & Mushroom Balti and a Spinach & Paneer Balti most Saturday’s for delivery, both are absolutely delicious. The staff and delivery drivers are all delightful too. They’re the best in Redditch. You won’t be disappointed.

Ordered twice in the last couple of weeks, they were late twice. This time by 30 mins. On top of that my chicken was dry and not particularly well seasoned. Disappointed.

Curry was meant to be a madras but had no heat at all. Had many brilliant hot madras from here before but this was a real let down

Where do I start? First off. The garlic chilli chicken had way too much onions in it. It looked like they had put the equivalent of two onions chopped up in it and the garlic was sliced and put on top instead of minced, this meant the garlic was too overpowering. My partner did not like the chicken pakora and said they were way too greasy. The special naan which had chicken tikka in had hardly any of it. Sadly if they can’t impress on first impressions. I will not be ordering from here again and Patenga have lost a customer.

All 4 popadoms on this order were stale which further renders the pickle tray useless. Contacted restaurant direct within 5 minutes of delivery who stated they’d refund. That never materialised. Contacted again. Very unhelpful and instructed to go through Just Eat. The option to select ‘I’m unhappy with my order’ as detailed in the Just Eat help section is nowhere to be seen. Poor all round.

I have to say this was really poor quality. The sauce was grainy and unpleasant and the chicken was extremely dry. It was also cold on arrival. For £20 I would have expected better

Dansak I ordered was much hotter than I’m used to and had over the years and couldn’t see lentils & no pineapple so suspect it was not what I ordered. Food was delivered a little late but came nice and hot and everyone else liked what they had.
