Wow!!! Absolutely amazing food, great service in a small but beautiful restaurant

The Food was not edible, really disappointing

Excellent food and very reasonable delivery time

The portion of chicken in the wrap needs to be more not just 3-4 tiny pieces of it. The meat box doesn’t have enough chicken there are too much sides in it, even paid extra £2 to have chicken instead of lamb. The chips is nice.

Excellent food, so much flavour to everything we had, by far best Indian restaurant/takeaway in Redditch, will not order from anywhere else, everyone order from here!

Usually very good food from this place but today has been one of the worst I've had from here. 1hr 20 for delivery, no apology from the driver, just shoved the food in my hand and walked away. Food was cold, nann bread stale, balti was dry barely any sauce. A real let down unfortunately.

Ordered a takeaway for the first time tonight. Great value for all we had. Delivery 30 minutes earlier than stated when ordered. All good was piping hot alongside huge portions. Ordered vegetable samosa starter. Mains of vegetable Dhansak and Chicken Tikka Tawa with pilau rice side dish of saag paneer and plain naan. Everything was exceptional. Will definitely be ordering again.

Tried a few different curry takeaways and this was the best by far. Excellent taste & quality.

Food arrived and there were no poppadoms. Opened up the chicken dansak and chicken tikka massala curries, and they had heap amounts of vegetable oil on top of the curry. Too much oil.

Chicken madras (our regular option) was excellent in fact the whole order of food was very hot in temperature and delicious. First time of eating was Dupazia which was not too spicy or hot had subtle flavours which were delicious we are ordering that again. With naan bread and papadums of course !!! Well done Patenga!

Flavours were great on the curry but I prefer a smoother blend of curry sauce. I am not a fan of chunks of onion in my curries so I wish they had an option to have the curry blended more. Apart from that a very nice flavoured curry. Delivery was on time.

Having lived in Redditch for over 20yrs, the biggest challenge I’ve found for this type of food is lack of consistency. You find a place, you order, it comes out brilliant and you order the same again, only to find it’s not so good. First time ordering from here, Chicken Tikka Madras and Peshwari naan. Good depth of flavour to the Madras and, for me, a good amount of heat. If I was being really nit-picky, a touch less tomato and it would have been perfect, otherwise, that doesn’t detract from the service or the quality. Naan was delicious. Well filled and hot. Because of the inconsistency around here, we’ve had to venture into Birmingham for our curry fix. Here’s hoping that will change. 👍🏻

Ordered a chicken Jalfrezi and Nan , collected and travelled home , plated my food ready to eat and noticed they actually gave me a chicken vindaloo , called them up to explain the mistake and they refused to change and remake what I had ordered , the guy was very patronising and rude on the phone , do your self a favour and use the Sharhi Palace , I went there for my Jalfrezi and Sherman gave it me for free after what I had told him had happened , don’t make that mistake again ,

Working in the local town for the night fancied a curry, seen this on just eat, so ordered myself some food, delivery on time, food was hot, curry had a good amount of meat. The rice was nice alittle bit greasy but not the end of the world, nan bread now that's different, cheese chilli keema nan, just couple of bites no spice then there it was, nice spice to it, overall not bad at all, will probably order from here again when I'm in town

Best Indian takeaway in redditch, always spot on

We order a Lamb & Mushroom Balti and a Spinach & Paneer Balti most Saturday’s for delivery, both are absolutely delicious. The staff and delivery drivers are all delightful too. They’re the best in Redditch. You won’t be disappointed.

Great little Indian restaurant. Food was gorgeous, not oily or swimming in sauce. Reasonable prices.

1x Naan bread undercooked. Delivery driver was not entirely on the ball, knocked on an outside gate and queried why there was no reply!!!

Ordered twice in the last couple of weeks, they were late twice. This time by 30 mins. On top of that my chicken was dry and not particularly well seasoned. Disappointed.

It would have been nice if the delivery driver dropped the food at my door instead of ringing me to come outside and collect it from his car 😒

Where do I start? First off. The garlic chilli chicken had way too much onions in it. It looked like they had put the equivalent of two onions chopped up in it and the garlic was sliced and put on top instead of minced, this meant the garlic was too overpowering. My partner did not like the chicken pakora and said they were way too greasy. The special naan which had chicken tikka in had hardly any of it. Sadly if they can’t impress on first impressions. I will not be ordering from here again and Patenga have lost a customer.

Curry was meant to be a madras but had no heat at all. Had many brilliant hot madras from here before but this was a real let down

First time of using, but not the last.

All 4 popadoms on this order were stale which further renders the pickle tray useless. Contacted restaurant direct within 5 minutes of delivery who stated they’d refund. That never materialised. Contacted again. Very unhelpful and instructed to go through Just Eat. The option to select ‘I’m unhappy with my order’ as detailed in the Just Eat help section is nowhere to be seen. Poor all round.

I have to say this was really poor quality. The sauce was grainy and unpleasant and the chicken was extremely dry. It was also cold on arrival. For £20 I would have expected better

Dansak I ordered was much hotter than I’m used to and had over the years and couldn’t see lentils & no pineapple so suspect it was not what I ordered. Food was delivered a little late but came nice and hot and everyone else liked what they had.

Ordered at 7.30 and arrived at 21.45 over an hour after the suggested delivery time. Food was piping hot when it arrived as if it had only just been cooked so we assumed that the restaurant had missed the order. Complained via the app and message says that restaurant will contact me, i am still waiting for them to do so

Hadn’t had a biryani for a while so ordered one at Patenga and it was so good! The rice came separate from the sauce and it was a really big portion size. Very tasty, very filling and very nice! Complements to the Chef, I’ve just ordered again tonight.

Usual high standard I get from petanga

I’ve lived in Birmingham all my life and sampled the delicious dishes across the region from Selly oak Bristol road and the pershore road from cotteridge all the way down to king’s heath and the balti triangle, and I do not not exaggerate when I say the takeaway from Patenga is the best takeaway I have ever eaten in my life, the tastes and the portions are sublime, I just hope they continue to provide the standards that I’ve now become used to, well done Patenga you should be very proud. Delicious I’ve never eaten in so I cannot comment on that experience 😀

Really nice food, served piping hot and great size portions. One disappointment was the pickle tray I ordered with the poppadoms, one small tub of each and the onion salad was in a small bag. Other than that, excellent.

Decided to have something different for a change, wasn't disappointed. Chicken Jalfrezi, tasty, hot, very nice.

Shame about the service because the food is usually good. 2 hours to deliver on a weekday! And the food is luke warm!! Not good enough.

We ordered a take-away via their app on iOS, it’s very easy to use and notifications of updates to the order come through quickly. The food was delivered promptly and it was nice to see the man delivering looking smart and a wearing a Patenga T-shirt. The food was outstanding! We have eaten curries from various restaurants and this was the best takeaway we’ve had! 2 pathias, 1 vindaloo, 3 rogan Josh, all perfect. Lovely chicken and thick sauce made up of lots of ingredients rather than a generic sauce like some others. We will definitely use again and recommend to others.

Ordered delivery, the driver didn't bother knocking or using the doorbell as half of the items where just thrown in and then leaked completely in the bag and has now stained my carpets. Food was cold as it was just left on door step.

food was left outside, no even in the open porch, unable to knock a door or ring a bell, items missing food damaged. waste of money

Curry was ok, unprofessional putting the pepper stalk in the curry. Naan was really nice. Only two tiny lamb chops for starter, for the size of them you would expect 4. Mixed grill was quite small portion also.

Really nice meal chicken was exceptional, only downside was I asked for the sauce to be thin and it was quite thick but would order again.

I had this 2 days ago. Arrived little bit later but apologised to us. Curry was really oily however portions were big and naan was nice. However caused a lot of stomach pain, would avoid at all costs.

Absolutely outstanding Indian restaurant - we order takeaway from there quite regularly and it’s always delicious, but today they outdid themselves! Stunning food, quick delivery, lovely service and the staff are always really helpful on the phone (I have a lot of allergies so ordering food can be quite stressful sometimes but never had any issues at Patenga). Our favourites: Garlic Chilli Chicken curry, Patenga Meat Naga & Bengal Naga Chicken!
