Amazing food as always especially if Mr Wee is serving you. We've been going there for years and he has made us feel welcomed every time. The food is honestly superb especially the fried sea bass and the tamarin lemon grass sauce! Thank you!

The service staff was friendly. The starters such as: The green papaya salad was okay in terms of freshness, but the seasoning was boring and didn't match the original. The so-called signature dishes such as the green curry and the panang beef-cheeks had little to do with Thai cuisine; there was no balance between the typical salty, sour and spicy taste. The necessary Thai herbs such as: Lime leaves, lemongrass or Thai basil were non-existent or the curry was seasoned with Italian basil, which is not possible at all. We asked the staff about it and they pointed out import problems regarding herbs... no, not like that.

An excellent restaurant where you are warmly welcomed and well served. We had a pleasant time. Beautiful restaurant room too.

A wonderful Thai restaurant. The owner is very welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. Service is quick and efficient, which is always appreciated. Their Thai milk tea is deliciously flavorful. I highly recommend trying their Tom Yum soup and pineapple rice – they're truly excellent. And those duck spring rolls smell amazing when served hot. The seafood in the pineapple rice is generous, especially the juicy shrimp. Every dish tastes authentically Thai, making dining at Patara a delightful experience.

I will comment from my aspect as Thai people. The food taste 80% like in Thailand. The portion is fine. The guy ‘wee’ is very friendly. The service overall is good. I recommended and also will visit again if i have a chance

The food was delicious. The service was also exceptionally good. Wee in particular is very welcoming and attentive.

We came at opening time, the staff member told us we could sit anywhere so we did. We ordered two starters, two mains and two desserts. The food was really good and the portions were quite large but the pricing was a bit out of proportion to the food (it costed us almost 100 pounds, inculuding the 12%tip). After we finished our dessert the weitress handed us immidietly the reciept without us asking. Then she said she needs the table and insinuated we should pay and leave, so we did. Our whole stay lasted one hour. After spending almost 100 pounds on a meal we expected to be able to sit a bit after the meal so we were quite dissapppinted on that behalf.

I had a wonderful experience at this Thai restaurant. The staff provided excellent service, and the ambiance, with hand-lit candles, created a lovely atmosphere. The traditional Thai dishes were incredibly delicious, with the soft-shell crab being a standout. I highly recommend this place for a memorable dining experience.

What a dissapointment. Ordered hot starters were cold or inedible. Chicken Satay arrived barely warm and chunks small in size. Fish cakes were rubbery and inedible. At no time did staff ask how our meals were? Duck Red Thai Curry was of No great quantity either.

So disappointed. Really poor all round! Took a business colleague and friend there last night, as they have a vegan option. The order of 3 items was wrong, they forgot the rice and noodles, food arrived lukewarm and not as we asked. Literally sat there waiting for accompaniments to eat. Getting any kind of actual service was near impossible. After 1 hour and 15 mins of all round a rubbish experience we were asked to leave as they needed the table! Avoid used to be good pre covid don’t bother.

Green curry sauce is not thick enough. Chicken satay is cold. My friend found the Ton Yim Soup is not too authentic. I do not think they put much heart to make Thai food. Service is not up to standard even when they are not very busy. Its a restaurant near to Harrods and I was expecting higher quality of food. The only thing I like was the bottle of Thai beer.

The food wasn’t tasty. The lobster noodles below average, the lobster was extremely chewy.. The spiced fish cake were bland and chewy. Honestly Thai food is amazing and tasty - this was just awful.
