Passo Restaurant in Islington

Every plate we ordered was superb, especially the pasta dishes. The crown has to go to the bucatini with cream and pecorino, so good. Great setting and service too.

Nipped in here for a work lunch and it was delightful. Staff were super friendly and the truffle pasta was amazing. I would say that the pasta was very al dente, but that's exactly how I like it and it's fresh! Looking at reviews seems like that's not for everyone though!

First time trying this place and it ended up being such a lovely evening. The restaurant itself was beautiful and the food was incredible. Our waiter & waitress were both so lovely - we will definitely be back!

Passo is a great place for a group. They have a sharing menu so no need to pre-order or spend time looking at a menu. The food was delicious and there was plenty of. The staff were very accommodating. Our numbers kept changing but it wasn't a problem for them. Looking forward to going back and trying the a la carte menu.

Seriously impressed. Beautifully presented, fresh and authentic. I felt I was back in Florence where I studied for three months! Charming service. Bravi! 👍

A partire dall’accoglienza, Ramon che ti accoglie col sorriso, dal servizio che hanno mille attenzioni ,perché non manchi nulla. La cucina a vista meravigliosa,ogni piatto,prima che esca curato nei dettagli. Fantastico il clima che vedi in cucina ,nonostante il locale sia pieno , non manca un sorriso bel clima !! Complimenti a tutto lo staff!!! Buono buono buono .. esco rotolando con qualche chiletto in più ..

The menu was limited but that only made every item perfectly balanced and very tasty. The Mac&cheese balls were stunning as were the beetroot ones. The little pizzas were hot fresh and tasty. The truffled mortadella was excellent The linguine was full of seafood and piping hot

On a particularly dreich October night of the London Marathon Weekend we appeared on their doorstep like two unannounced droont rats. Initially they couldn’t help but eventually took pity on us and gave us 2 seats overlooking the cooking station. It was wonderful as were all of the staff and the food especially the Tiramisu was outstanding

After reading so-so reviews was a bit nervous to eat here but needn't have worried! Starters and main were delicious – we had garlic bread and arancini to kick off and then the lamb pasta and crab linguine. Also washed down with cocktails. Really great food and service was fantastic.

Visited this Resturant after walking past, thought it looked presentable from the outside. But when I arrived the customer service was a1 but the food was unsatisfactory, to leave after spending £70 unhappy is not the best of outcomes. Both of me and my wife’s plates were returned to the waiter full with food, with the waiter not even acknowledging we didn’t like the dish(crab pasta). Really wouldn’t recommend for quality food.

Lovely location with beautiful interior. Staff were very friendly and attentive during our bottomless brunch. Great choice of options for different budgets/different levels of hunger. Would definitely visit again!

Absolutely terrible. Booked this place after an afternoon out and am more than happy to admit when we arrived, we were slightly worse for wear. I normally hate leaving trip advisor reviews and the two stars here are for the service and nothing more. We ordered two cokes and two cocktails but one cocktail tasted of nothing and the other of so much alcohol we left those. Our starters were ok, the macaroni cheese arancini was lovey and the garlic pizza bread was slightly soggy but ok. It was the mains that were inedible. The truffle pasta was so severely undercooked that biting into it meant it was grainy and hard to chew. When asking the waitress to take it back, the chef claimed it was “al Dante” but they would re do it. It was not al dante but just undercooked, hence the swift offer to re do. My friends pizza was then over tomatoey, with very little cheese and a soft bottom in the middle we declined the second reserving of the pasta. They took the mains off of the bill happily and we left. Very disappointed.

We had a recommendation to go here and it was so good!! Although the menu is small, it’s perfectly formed. I’m a pasta lover anyway so could have tried it all but we went for some sharing dishes and shared main pasta dishes too. Although the crab linguine was delicious, the lamb tagliatelle was AMAZING!! Two guys next to us ate 5 pizzas between them as they were delicious although a little small. We shared a mozzarella garlic bread which was amazing. The panzarella salad (I think that’s what it was) was specious with tomatoes, shallots and olives. We didn’t get pictures of our mains as they were eaten so quickly. Tiramisu was fab too. Although it was quiet as we went on the night of the England match, it was such a nice atmosphere. Relaxed with great decor.

Lots of tempting options on the menu, and great to be able to have a pizzetta with such gorgeous flavours. Everything my friend and I ordered was delicious (bucatini with truffle, mixed salad) and the service was brilliant. Bonus: Crodino on the menu- a great aperitivo for non-drinkers. My favourite non-alcoholic drink.
