We had an amazing time at this place. The food and service was amazing and the entertainment was absolutely brilliant. A great find in Wellingborough. Will definitely be coming again, we went as a party and we all had an amazing evening. Money well spent.

Food is absolutely delicious, staff is always very friendly and helpful I totally recommend the place if you want to eat good and enjoy your time

Thw ood was good but the live music was way too loud, impossible to have a conversation with friends.

I get the impression this place is relatively unknown in Wellingborough because they havent put everyone else out of business. Seriously good food.

Was there on a empty Saturday evening, service was slow. Ordered vegi platter starters for 2 and the "squid" had fragments of plastic which it must have digested. Informed the manager, was ignored and just carried on with his issue on his personal phone. We ate, paid in full and left. No apology or even a refund on the starters. Food was ok but service was unacceptable.

Small portions, high prices, it was ok and average compared to other Turkish places I've been to. If I'm in the area I'd go again but only if I can't find something better.

Friendly staff, wonderful food, plenty of choice. It was busy and we had to wait for service but we weren't in a rush so were happy to take our time and relax. I will definitely be back.

Very delicious and comfy place to eat. I do recommend seafood there-perfect preparation of sauce, all ingridients in meal are very fresh and you can feel oriental Turkish taste in them and this is exactly what we wanted. Dont forget your lentil soup guys-perfect for cold days and it comes with lovely bread👌

It fully deserves its ranking. Generous portions of beautifully cooked and presented food. The best service we have encountered anywhere. It won't be the last time we eat there!

We booked based on reviews but this was no where near as good as the ratings suggest. Starter was a hot meze platter which was okay but seemed a bit like brought frozen food especially the two fried filo pasty items. However, the main mixed grill platter was really quite poor, with the meat being very heavily seasoned (which is normally great), but in this case wasnt particularly tasty and very powdery to the taste. While the bed of rice for the platter was very bland and under flavoured for a normal turkish dish. The other gripe i had were the mens toilets, as I went for a meal not to go paddling. When raised with the waitress i was told......Yes we have an issue in the toilets!......Maybe a plumber could help? Overall very underwelming (and as you can guess from the above) I will not return or recomend. Cannot see how this got the rating level it has on the internet.

The service and staff were helpful and friendly and some of the food we had was lovely, but, I wasn’t bowled over by the choice of food on the menu. It’s pretty much chicken, minced lamb or cubed lamb with either rice or bread! I didn’t enjoy the Yogurtlu Lamb shish, needed some flavour to it and I was puzzled why I had bread underneath swimming in oil. There’s other Turkish restaurant’s nearby I would go to again…

Went here for dinner last Friday and I will definitely visit again or order online. Ordered some hummus, sigara borek and a mixed grill platter. I was a bit disappointed with the sigara borek (feta wrapped in filo pastry) in terms of quantity, but they more than made up for it with the hummus and the mixed grill which was very tasty and filling. Excellent service staff around to help you out as well. Definitely recommend this to anyone who likes Turkish cuisine.

Shame on you!!! I would have given you more stars if you said you forget the mashed potatoes instead of sending a pretty much empty tray. Chicken and lamb undercooked. Outrageous!!! Will never recommend you!!! Shame!!!

Situated at the bottom of Cambridge Street in Wellingborough and recommend by the Jim at Little R'ale House (outside Wellingborough Railway Station - also a must visit place! ) The food at Sultan is simply delicious. The service is impeccable. The menu is refined and explained. There is also outside seating to the front where you can share a Shisha with friends or family. Inside is sanitised thoroughly, the tables and menus are wiped down thoroughly. Takeaways are also available. Fair prices too, just over £52 for 2 adults which included 2 courses each plus drinks. Lovely night out. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

A wonderful evening at the newly reopened restaurant, I cannot find a single fault with it from service and food to smoking a shisha afterwards on the terrace. Can't wait to go back. Thank you everyone at the Sultan.

Nicely decorated with authentic Turkish look of the place, staff was very friendly provided us with a very good service, food was delicious, atmosphere of the place was buzzing. Also the Owner of the place is s true gentleman, engaged in conversations with the customers, overall it was an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

So impressed with this little gem... We booked for my partners bday 9 friends and children. Nothing was to much, food was presented perfectly and we didn't feel rushed .. Service is seconded to none the drinks bell is a perfect idea. Importantly the food.... Wow impeccable and authentic... Such a nice addition to Wellingborough.. In terms of interior design it is really well done The place is really spacious and has a device similar to one to call a air hostess for food drinks etc, The complementary bread is freshly baked and dips are good as well The mix grill however fell short of expectations, there was too much olive oil in the salad The chicken piece were great and the lamb pieces as well but the meat on the bone was really tough Portion was less then expected compared to another venue which is also local Overall good but alot of room for improvements

I loved this kind of food and there are a number of excellent Turkish restaurants in the surrounding area, so it's a shame this doesn't quite measure up. The kebabs were really good but the hot mezze was disappointing, a number of the items were quite greasy. Service was quite good, and the staff were friendly. You won't have a bad meal here but you can get much better without travelling too far.

Lovely clean restaurant with a pleasing atmosphere. Good food and friendly staff. I particularly enjoyed their home-made garlic butter and houmous served with the complimentary starter. Well worth a visit.

Just had a lovely meal at this restaurant first class service, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The food was delicious. We had the meal for two and it was very nice, beautifully presented and when we couldn’t finish it the manager said no problem I will wrap it up for you to take home. So lunch tomorrow sorted, great. I will definitely be going back there again and will most certainly recommend it to anyone who is interested.

Absolutely pucker food, very impressed for a fairly new halal restaurant. I had a ribeye steak (med rare, hot meze starter and sultan mixed grill. All of them were cooked on point. Would be better to keep some sauces on table all the time, but it's the meat quality and service that will be keep me coming again and again :) The first restaurant in long time that has been consistent, 3 times in a row with family, friends and in laws and not let me down one time. Went here about 2weeks ago with our kids to celebrate our marriage anniversary. We loved every bit of it! The welcome, cuisine and the general staff was brilliant! Will definitely go again.

Great atmosphere and friendly service. Food was excellent, good for families - kids portion kebabs were a hit. Very reasonable pricing. Worth booking as seemed busy at the weekend.

Love the food and restaurant, but the home delivery needs some immediate attention. Every time we order for delivery the order is wrong with items missing and cold. Last time poppadoms smashed to small pieces and no chutney, this time chutneys and no poppadoms. Food was cold and 40 minutes late. We order at 5pm when they opened and told it would be here at 6pm, assume that’s when the driver starts. Finally arrived at 6.40!!! Also every time we open up the bag something has leaked resulting in all the other food containers covered. Such a shame this area of the restaurant is let down.

Food very good but service not the quickest - Party of 17 arrived 7.30. Food order not taken till after 8pm and food didn't arrive till after 9pm.

Food was lovely but they haven't got a clue how to deal with large parties. Waited 45 minutes to be handed menus and 2 hours for food! They were more interested in filming the 2 dancers they had in performing for their "Bollywood Night". Absolute shambles, will not be returning.
