Tasty pizza, gentle staff, a proper italian café and restaurant-pizzeria..recommended. They also prepare some extra pizzas that are not in the menu..on demand.

Once again a wonderful evening from the warm welcome on arrival to the last drop of Grappa. The food was wonderful and the Sicilian cheesecake a revelation. Now trying to find excuses to come down again (I live in Durham) and explore the menu further. Thank you

This place is a pear. One of those places that only locals know. The chef is a dedicated professional who loves Italian culture and food and provides the best authentic cuisine in his region. The place is not only a restaurant but a deli and shop for a few Italian products and the prices are not far from the Italian shops.

Expensive, badly laid out, not everything is priced. I just popped in to buy something typically Italian to bring to friends for brunch but forgot that on all the other occasions we have visited we have complained about how expensive everything is and the fact that a lot of items aren't priced up. £6.50 for a cannoli and similar price for a Delice di Limone is atrocious. They weren't particularly fresh either. They weren't priced up and if it wasn't for the fact that they had already been wrapped (not a plastic glove to be seen by the way), I wouldn't have gone ahead. Furthermore, there are now two-person tables all along the shelving where the dried goods are kept. How is anyone supposed to have a look at the items. I really dojn't understand how other people have raved about this place and am surprised it is still going. The gentleman who wrapped some of my order was very friendly otherwise I would have only given one star.

Had dinner with a friend on Saturday evening. We reserved a table in advance online. The wait for pizza was long. As a result, they brought it cold and uncut. When asked how we would eat it, the waiter replied that they don't cut the pizza. Since we were sitting at the bar, I asked the pizzaiolo to cut the pizza myself, and he kindly did it for us. I waited more than 15 minutes for a glass of wine. In general, I got the impression that they are not interested in clients. The place was already 100% full. The pizza was tasty, but cold. There was no longer any desire to order anything else. The icing on the cake was that the manager came over and said that we had to vacate the place in 20 minutes because the next customers were coming. We had a reservation for dinner! Do I need to explain that the evening was ruined? I go to a restaurant for the atmosphere and good service. This is not the case here. Delicious pizza and good service, you can eat it elsewhere. For example, in Al Forno. Overall conclusion: I do not recommend Cento Uno Surbiton.
