The New landlord Tony, has really turned the place around, it's cleaner, brighter more welcoming and a fantastic atmosphere. With the help of a great team behind the bar, service is quick and they have some great drink offers too. Nothing is to much trouble for them, and they really go out of their way to help. For those who's man's best friend is a well behaved dog it's pet friendly too. You also have the added bonus of it being right across the road from Burnley football club, great for a pre match pint or a celebration or comiseration drink afterwards. My weekends just got a whole lot better, entertainment kicks off with a great karaoke on Friday night, and finishes with a little stagger out the door. Haha. Well worth a visit.

Very hit and miss. On a good day the fish batter has a lovely sweetness and the chips are nicely cooked. Today it was match day and back to undercooked soggy batter and oily chips. The people who run it alps happen to be rude and their Cash Only operation screams tax fiddle. After many years of hit and miss I've had enough. Not interested in takeaways who serve crap in a tray. Last time I'll be wasting my money there.

I have just bought a meat pie + chips..when I got it home the pastry was rock hard and the filling looked like it was long past its use by date. .I found the chips to be soggy ..they tasted really bad..I won't be using this chippy again ..food rotation is a must .why do they keep pies that are quite clearly unedible

Will not return on principal - no wonder the staff turnover is so high! Was offered 4 different prices for a small chips and a small curry during lunch service, then when I simply said I'd like the small portion of both, which is on the billboard menu, which isn't rocket science, the short oriental guy gave me a mouthful, telling me to look at the prices on the board (which I clearly had been referring to) then he disappeared into the back. I haven't even bothered returning to chat about it, but they're always looking for new staff and the young girls look nervous when serving. Best way to fine a company is not to give them your business.

Seriously bad service! Very rude! Wasnt welcoming at all. Went with other couples to watch football. Wasnt allowed to talk to each other

There are many chippys in Burnley & we've tried a few over the years, nobody seems to get the fish right...., nice size, fresh & most of all, the batter! Its the deal breaker for me. Park View gets it right & the locals know it. All i'm going to say is... try it. Excellent, not over priced, the fish are done fresh to order, chips are as they should be & everything ive seen served up looks just as good. The queue's speaks volumes to me.
